Not to talk about the watcher thing again as I’ve already kind of said my piece, but one of the most batshit insane parts of this whole unbelievable situation is that for some reason they decided that for some fucking reason the BEST time to announce this highly controversial decision was literally DAYS before they would be going on an international tour and having to face irate fans IN PERSON. Guys. What the hell. At least have the sensibility to announce a move that you HAD to have known would make people upset AFTER one of the few times you actually interact in person with your fanbase.
I hope you’re ready to investigate the Tower of London for ghosts, because I have a feeling the Londoners will be more than happy to acquaint you with the building later this week.

I picked Mav's name off a baby names website because I wanted an M name to match Marlo. I briefly considered W names too (M and W being reflective so it would make a cute watermark). Other contenders were Wyatt, Waylon, Minnow, and Mason, but ultimately I liked Maverick the best.
His registered name, KN Vibrant Malbec, was picked to match Marlo's Rugged Merlot.
#about mav#mav memories#funny enough when i picked Mav up from the breeder i was like no this is not a maverick#and i was so resistant to the name (having pictured for weeks a liver male)#but a friend had already made me dog tags#and i really wanted to announce on social media#so i was like fine good enough#and he grew into it ❤#i have a couple of puppy names that lowkey tie into Mav#but it isnt a huge contributing factor to future names#fun fact mavs breeder didnt have a litter theme and she hadnt picked her keeper puppies reg names#so i recommended a liquor theme since mav was malbec and her keeper male was named rickard#so i suggested rickard red (a beer)#and her female was named lula so i suggested kahlula cocktail#and im p sure she kept both of those as reg names which is really sweet#rickard has grown into a stunning dog btw i want one of his puppies so bad#lula wasnt interested in detection work so she was rehomed as a fun pet
