What if the Badwolf-Hood secret is not such a secret? What if pretty much all the students know?

Canonically, Raven, Maddie, and Kitty all know the truth. And I’m pretty sure some others have figured it out by now.

It’s one thing for a quiet student to always, always wear her cloak and hood (”I get cold easily! And I’m....practicing for my destiny. Yes. That’s it.” “You’re a Rebel.” “Still.”) and run suspiciously fast and wolf down meat (pun intended). It’s another for a Wolf student to spend all her time in human form, unlike her father, and show less Wolf attributes than he does. For both of them together...

And the two of them look alike, too.

So alike that you’d think someone would have figured this out before now.

What if they have?

In Justine Dancer’s diary, Cerise outright called Ramona her sister in front of Justine.

Cerise sleeps in the same room as Cedar, who literally cannot tell a lie. (That must be so much stress for poor Cerise.) She sleeps with her hood on, but over the course of the entire year, the hood never slipped off in the middle of the night? Cerise never accidentally mentioned something suspicious? Cedar never overheard a phone conversation or found a note addressed to Cerise?

Maybe the reason Cedar didn’t tell everyone is simply because no one asked her. She’s under no compulsion to blurt out the truth if she’s not asked for it.

Or maybe someone did mention something and Cedar had no choice but to say the truth....but nobody said anything further because they know what this could do to Cerise and Ramona and their parents.

The entire school saw Cerise run faster than any human should. Raven explained this away as a speed spell, but did everyone buy her explanation?

Maybe Maddie and Kitty told Lizzie, and later Alistair and Bunny. The Wonderlandians are very close-knit.

Maybe Raven told Dexter. Speaking of Dexter...

In Cerise and the Beast, he found out the truth, but on the way back to Ever After High he bumped his head and forgot the events of the entire book. But memory loss caused by head injury doesn’t always last forever....

OMG YOU GUYS!!!

Somehow I have more Ramona theories so here we go...

Ok so you know how in the original grimm fairytale of Little Red Riding Hood, the huntsman cuts open the wolf and frees little red and her grandma?

Well idk how many people know this but in the original story, the wolf doesn't die yet and instead the huntsman fills the wolfs stomach with rocks and then sews its stomach shut again. ALL WHILE ITS ASLEEP! Then in the morning the wolf tries to drink water from a well but it's too heavy so it falls in and drowns.

In "Midnight Mystery" we see Ramona wake up when Justine leaves. A lot of people say that she hears her leaving and I agree with that. But what if whenever she actually falls asleep and isnt actively listening to stuff around her, like I assume she started doing when she found out about Justine's sleep dancing, she sleeps like SUPER heavily. Like heavier than Briar did when some other characters tried to wake her to tutor them.

Like so heavy that you wouldn't notice someone trying to CUT YOU OPEN. Imagine how terrifying that would be for her. Knowing that its your destiny to fall asleep and then have someone basically perform surgery on u without knowing and then drowning afterwards. Even if her story hasn't started yet imagine how scary it would be knowing that theres a chance something seriously bad could happen to you when ur asleep and you'll never know.

Imagine her taking a nap or something during the tri-castle-on at EAH and then during the archery part of it she just gets shot with an arrow somehow. And then people are so worried and confused at the same time bc she just got stabbed yet she's STILL ASLEEP.

Also considering how much blood should have been lost when the wolf was cut open and not having the right tools for it bc its just a huntsman cutting open a wolf, wouldn't it be cool if Ramona had a kind of healing factor. Like imagine the scenario I just mentioned and then they finally wake her up and she just goes "oh" and PULLS THE ARROW OUT and just tells them to pull it out next time and let her sleep.

Adding on to that, since Red Riding Hood in EAH literally made smoke bombs and had an escape plan to save Professor Badwolf from dying in the books, I'm gonna say for this theory that he can't heal that way. So what I like to think is that over time the healing thing went away for a few generations but then came back in Ramona. So no one has really had this healing factor until Ramona was born and I think they would have found this out when she got a scrape on her knee or something as a kid and it healed within seconds. And Cerise doesn't have it bc she's not the next Big Bad Wolf even if they share genetics.

Imagine how scary that would be for Red and Badwolf. Not knowing what could be fatal to your daughter and what isn't. Not having any knowledge of how to handle this bc no one has had it in generations. Not knowing what it means for her destiny.

Ramona would think it's cool at first but then start to feel insecure about it bc her dad is basically the perfect example of what a Badwolf should be but she's not like him. She can't even tell herself that it's something she got from her mom so she feels alone and afraid. She spends most of her time trying to research as much as she can about it and tries to be as discreet as possible bc her family doesn't need anymore drama. Any time someone sees her reading a really old version of her story to find some clue of what she is, they just think she's really invested in her story.

And to be clear on this theory as a whole, Ramona may not feel anything physically when she's asleep but she can still feel things when she's awake. The sleep thing and the regeneration would be so cool yet so scary and conflicting. But that's just a theory so do with it what you will.

EAH headcanons :)

Ramona likes annoying Cerise and using a villainous attitude on the surface but she's actually sweet and nice

Sparrow and Faybelle teamed up at the start of the year to get themselves their own rooms without roommates, this resulted in Holly getting her own room too which she then shares with Poppy, Sparrow and Faybelle lost their rooms when Bunny and Alistair showed up

The Merry Men regret bullying Raven when they were kids

Ramona, Kitty, Sparrow, Duchess, Faybelle - the real Robin Hood and the Merry Men (or maybe current Merry Men too, we don't know how mischievous or villainous they are)

Sparrow's fav subject is General Villainy (and EAH psychology equivalent) since he can use that for his schemes

Faybelle and Duchess compete to be top of GV class, but Sparrow has raw talent and doesn't even try much but still gets good grades which annoys them

Kitty sometimes attends GV class without Professor Badwolf knowing, Lizzie knows though and it's a big help having a friend in a class you don't like

Kitty attends GV because she likes learning tricks to aid her mischief

Badwolf finds out but let's her attend anyway

Before that webisode, when no one trusted Ginger's baked goods, she would bring them to GV and other villain classes and everyone loved them

Kitty knows about Cerise and Ramona and likes working with Ramona to get under Cerise's skin

Faybelle secretly wishes her BFFA Duchess would take over as the Black Swan instead of the White Swan so that she'd be free of her sad destiny and also so they could be villain BFFs together

She doesn't know it, but Blondie's door unlocking power also extends to secrets, so she always asks the right questions for her mirrorcast and investigative reporting; this is because the first ever Goldie Lockes tale had something to do with secrets but it simplified and significantly got lost in translation over time

Please forgive me I've been super focused on school

The Silent Queen 6; A Royal Morning

Raven woke up the same she always did - quietly. No one ever really noticed her until she was outside her room and hallway back in the castle but at school, people smiled and waved at her the second she left her dorm with Maddie. She guessed that the news of her arrival had spread and a lot of people wanted to know the daughter of the Evil Queen. Raven grimaced at the thought, she would have preferred not to be known at all. To just be a minor character in a smaller story. With a happy ending. But that wasn’t who she was, she was Raven Queen and this was her life.

Walking down the corridors to the castleteria was mostly uneventful aside from all the other students who continued looking at her and pointing things out. It was times like these that she wished she could hear. But then again she wasn’t sure how well she’d adjust to suddenly being able to hear. The castleteria itself is big and crowded with white lighting that made everything look brighter than what Raven was used to, many eyes looked over to her and Raven felt herself subconsciously tug at a lavender streak in her hair. This was going to be a long school year.

Cerise stood up and waved over at the pair of newcomers from her table where she sat with Cedar, Hunter, and a few girls who Raven vaguely remembered from yesterday who had been with that blonde- Apple, Apple White. The next Snow White, the one Raven would eventually have to poison. Raven stopped moving for a second at the thought of her destiny. Eyes wide she almost started to shake until Maddie lightly poked her shoulder, pointing to the castleteria’s food table. Raven straightened and followed her roommate and best friend to grab breakfast.

At home, she usually just walks into the kitchen. Chef made pancakes most mornings with berries from the nearby forest and honey on top. Raven always loved those pancakes, even if she had them almost every day. Raven quickly put a few slices of bacon on her plate smiling at the staff before grabbing some fruit salad and a couple of waffles and left to follow Maddie over to Cedar’s table. Most people moved out of the way to let the two girls pass through in order to get to their table. If Raven was being honest she had expected more students to run away from her when she arrived, and yet they all seemed to be completely enamoured by her. Weird. Maybe it was because she hadn’t shown up for regular school until this year, or because no one knew what she looked like (she avoided mirror phones and rarely left the castle grounds), or maybe none of them knew much about deaf people. Or maybe all three. By the time she and Maddie sat down, Raven was already exhausted, and she hadn’t even gone to class yet!!

‘Morning Rae, how was your first night at EAH?’ Cerise signed over to her childhood friend. Raven smiled at the nickname, Cerise had given it to her when they were about six, very soon afterwards Raven and Cerise began talking more over chats with their mirror phones as Cerise started elementary school while Raven began to be castleschooled. The two would work on video chats every now and again to keep sign language in Cerise’s vocabulary, (usually with a little help from Ramona too, but it’s not like they could talk about that it was a secret!) so the two stayed connected no matter where they were.

‘It’s been good Cher,’ another nickname that had come from their younger years ‘you know after the whole Headmaster situation me and Maddie set up our dorm. It was definitely different from the castle or your place’ Raven concluded before picking up her fork. She really was hungry after skipping dinner last night. As the others smiled at her she felt a warm fuzzy feeling wash over her, these were her friends, some through childhood, some through the others and they all loved her. She was loved, at least she was now but once she became, that she wouldn’t be. Her smile began to dim just a tad as she bit into her waffle. She shook it off before looking at the three girls she didn’t know the names of. ‘Oh sorry I almost forgot, I’m Raven, and you guys are?’ she asked the brunette in pink, the platinum blonde in white and the ginger with green eyes. Each one smiled at her as brightly as her friends, if not a bit brighter, they were probably princesses, Raven thought to herself before each one signed their names.

‘Briar Beauty’ The girl in all pink signed with slightly tired eyes. Raven immediately made the connection to the Sleeping Beauty Story, it took a lot for her not to frown, that was always such a sad tale, sleeping for a hundred years would mean losing the people she loved. Even still Raven could see that something else was turning in her mind, maybe she’d get to see what that was.

The ginger signed after ‘Ashlynn Ella it’s nice to meet you!’ she had the brightest smile that Raven had seen from the trio. Cinderella’s daughter her mind added in, another story with a happy ending but a tragic beginning, she couldn’t imagine losing both of her parents. Then again it was better than being imprisoned in a mirror, or being forced to dance in hot iron shoes until death, or being crushed by a boulder after falling off of a cliff. Raven’s thoughts were broken as she saw that Ashlynn was sitting very close to Hunter, who seemed to be completely focused on her, the dork had a crush, which seemed to be mutual. If Raven could speak well she would have laughed.

‘I’m Darling Charming but you can call me Darl for short’ The Platinum Blonde signed last as she gave a simple polite smile. Like the one that Raven had been taught to use for visitors and knights when she was younger. A female born Charming? She had heard of it before but it wasn’t common, most of them became small-time princesses with small kingdoms, or took over for the Charming Kingdom when the time came. It would be interesting Raven thought to see where her destiny leads her, after all, Darling definitely had the most open book story out of all of them.

‘It’s nice to meet all of you’ Raven signed before continuing ‘So.. has anyone gotten a schedule, I still haven’t’ It hadn’t been a big surprise to her though, she supposed no one had accounted for her deafness and they might have had to remake her schedule. After she mentioned it though she saw Cedar hit her head with her hand. “Ugh, I almost forgot,” she muttered to the group before pulling out a piece of paper. ‘Here Raven, I passed the headmaster and he asked me to give this to you, don’t worry he only had to reschedule two subjects!’ she finished passing the note over. Raven sent a grateful smile to her friend thank goodness for Cedar on the top of the paper a note was written with a schedule underneath. It read:

Dear Ms. Queen; first of all, I’d like to apologize for not being aware of this sooner, in the short time we’ve been given I was able to find some students to help you translate in each class. However, just in case most classes have an extra student who understands sign language. Below is your schedule, I hope you enjoy your time here at Ever After High.

Block five: History with Professor Rumpilstilskin (assisted by Madelyn Hatter) 1:00-1:45

Block six: Spellcasting and Potions with Professor Baba Yaga (assisted by Cedar Wood) 1:50-2:35

Block seven: Grimmnastics with Coach Gingerbreadman (assisted by Darling Charming) 2:40-3:25

Dinner may be had at any time after this, as can counselling with Baba Yaga or Mother Goose. Lights out is at 10:30

Raven smiled at the schedule she only didn’t know two of the names on here. She was nervous to start her time at EAH but as long as she had good grades and a clear head she was sure she would do fine.

Ever After High x Twisted Wonderland AU Headcanons part 6

Part 5.5

AU concept

MASTERLIST

Warning: English is not my first language so sorry if it’s confusing

So, after those few continuity headcanons parts let’s go back to more general headcanons! ^^

This part will focus on the EAH teachers who left the school and who were hired in NRC.

General:

-After most of the students were withdraw from the school, a good portion of the teachers got fed up with headmaster Grimm’s nonsense and decided to leave the school to be hired in others school.

-Some of those teachers got hired to teach at NRC.(Yes Crowley is a big opportunist! XD)

-The newly hired teachers do either the same job they were doing at EAH either a new one.

Professor Badwolf-Hood:

-After Cerise and Ramona were withdraw from EAH, him and his wife, Red riding Hood, moved from the White kingdom to a more welcoming town toward their family.

-After the girls got accepted into NRC and he got hired at the school, the whole family take back their whole family name,Badwolf-Hood, not faring anymore to be punished and rejected.

-At NRC, professor Badwolf-Hood is a school supervisor/councelor, he monitoring the school with the duty to make sure there’s no unauthorized magic fighting or any kind of fights in the school grounds. He is also in charge of some detentions monitoring.

-He is also teaching as a sport teacher with Ashton Vargas and teach to the students more pakour like sports.

-Since he became a school supervisor, unauthorized fights became less frequents and the most troublemaking students like the Savanaclaw walked more in line.

-Most of the students are intimidated by him and many, like the Savanaclaw students, respect him.

Baba Yaga:

-Her being one of the teachers who left EAH was quite surprising, but let’s just say that after things go down hill at EAH she realized how ridiculous Milton Grimm’s ideology was and that he was way out of line regarding Raven Queen and left.

-After being hired at the NRC she become a school advisor in spells and potions.

-She even give private tutoring sessions to students who got difficulties or who want to deepen in a subject in potions or in spells lessons.

Evil step-librarians:

-After they left EAH the two sister got hired in the NRC as school librarians.(I headcanon the NRC to not having an official librarian since in TW there seem to not have one and it always others characters like Crowley who told to students to be quiet in the library.)

-They’re very strict and don’t hesitate to severly punish students who broke their library rules.

-Most students found them annoying and tend to call them the “crazy old hags”.

-Some students keep causing trouble in the library but after some detentions with the two sister in which the punished students were forced to re-catalog entire sections and claning the whole library, all students begined to respect the library’s rules. And they make sure to not call them the “crazy old hags” to their face.

-If they’re cranky to most students they’re nicer to students like Azul liking his gentleman attitude.

-Nobody is exempt from the library’s rules not even the teachers or the headmaster.

-”Headmaster Crowley! As the headmaster of this school we got respect for you but that not dispensing you from following this labrary’s rules so hush!”

Giles Grimm:

-When students and teachers beging to left EAH an investigation was launched and Giles was found prisonnier underneath the school and under a curse of speaking Riddlis.

-The investigators forced Milton Grimm to free his brother and to undo the curse.

-The two brothers tried to talk but Milton’s stubborness about destiny make any form of discussion impossible.

-So Giles, sad and desipointed by his brother’s behavior, left EAH.

-Some times later he is hired at the Night Raven College as an general history teacher.

-To everyone’s surprise, it turn out that headmaster Crowley and Giles Grimm are old friends who knew each other long times ago even before EAH’s and NRC’s foundations during the times where the Ever After world and the Twisted Wonderland world were still connected before being separated by Milton Grimm’s spell.(I kinda headcanon Crowley to be way older than he look since his age is unknow.)

-Giles is also an acquaintance of Lilia Vanrouge, the Grimm brother met him when Lilia was way younger and since Lilia is apparently very old himself despites his childish appearence you can guess that their meeting goes back to very very long ago.

-He always make sure to use his great history knowledge to make his lessons interesting and his nice personnality make him well liked by the students.

Additional headcanons:

-Others EAH teachers are either in other schools either still at EAH but if you want a teacher who is not in this list to teach at NRC go ahead!

I was working on a character list to help explain this but Tumblr froze and I lost it, so I’m just writing this and doing it later. @dustylovelyrun, @shattered-starrs, and @unfortunatelyunfocused, I hope you enjoy.

Ms. Hood’s living room ended up being taken over entirely by books, boxes of pictures, and other memorabilia. The coffee table groaned under the weight of the snacks everyone had brought. “Thanks for letting us do this, Ms. Hood.” Avenlee said, watching as the assembled group start working.

Bellatrix and Dream were leaning against each other as they shared a past storybook. Rosalie was pointing out something to Noble. Svana was reading a book to herself while Leon read another. There was an empty space between Cardinal and Sweetheart.

“It’s no problem!” Carmine Hood said cheerfully. Then she raised a brow. “Except...why are you doing this here?”

“Uh...” Avenlee aimed a nervous grin. “It was the only spot where I thought Frost couldn’t access.”

“Ah. And why are you doing this?”

Leon spoke up. “Avenlee thinks there’s something wrong with the Vow Book.”

Carmine blinked before nodding. “I see. Well, you better get to it.”

With a nod, Avenlee carefully made her way over to the spot between Cardinal and Sweetheart, pulling out her diary. She had only started reading her own entries when a warm weight spilled across her lap. Avenlee looked down in confusion.

Lupe aimed a grin at her, holding photos in her hands. “Mind if I lay here, cutie?”

“No! No, you’re good!” Cheeks heating up, Avenlee glared her page. She didn’t notice the hot stare Cardinal aimed at her big sister.

A hour or two had passed before Lupe spoke up. “Is this Mr. Narrator?”

Everyone looked up to see that she held a photo. It was of two young boys: one skinny, the other stout. Avenlee leaned forward, considering it. “Yeah, that’s him. The stout one.”

“Who’s the other guy?”

She leaned back and thought. “Um...Uncle Jacob, I think. He was Uncle Hans’ twin brother. Apparently they were born so closely together nobody had no idea who was the eldest, so they were supposed to share the Narrator role? I think, nobody really talks about him.”

“Anything else?” Svana asked.

Avenlee thought some more. “He...had a story of his own. I think. It happens sometimes.”

“What was his story?” Lupe asked. She handed the picture to Sweetheart, who handed it over to the next person. The photo circulated around the room as Avenlee thought.

“Dunno. Something about a box...I don’t know, nobody talks about him. He disappeared before Hans’ reading and that was that.”

Ok so addressing my last post about my Adopted Ramona AU....

To explain my au I need to explain a bit of backstory that I came up with for the Badwolf family.

Ok so do y'all remember how I mentioned my headcanon about the Big Bad Wolfs healing factor because of how he healed in the original story but then drowned in a well? So in this au he still has that healing ability but his stomach was never filled with rocks and he didn't drown. He went on to live his life and have kids but the Hoods and their village still wanted revenge after finding out that they're still alive.

After finding out that they have a healing factor, that makes the Hoods want to find them even more. So that they can find a way to give themselves that ability. The original wolf family was the only one that had a healing ability, that's why in the future Ramona has a healing ability but Cerise and professor Badwolf don't despite being wolfs too.

So the Big Bad Wolf goes into hiding with his family and the village forms a little group dedicated to hunting them down. The wolf's pack assumes they're already dead so to continue the story they select one wolf from the pack anytime a new Red Riding Hood is born intead of having one family play the part. So professor Badwolf is the rightful Big Bad Wolf but not by blood.

The original Big Bad Wolf family still lives but they live on the run from the hunters. Moving forward to the present, the Big Bad Wolf family has managed to avoid the hunters but now there are only two members left. A woman and her daughter, Ramona. At this point the hunters assume that they've gotten rid of the original wolf family but they still search the world just to be sure.

Ramona and her mom move around a lot to avoid the hunters. Eventually they meet professor Badwolf and Red Riding Hood along with their daughter Cerise. The family tries everything they can to help and although Ramona's mom is grateful, years of being on the run has made her very cautious and extremely protective of her child. She eventually does come to trust them though as she sees how much Red and Badwolf love each other despite being a Hood and a wolf.

They stay with them for a few days but then move again because Red's village begins to get suspicious of her. One day when Ramona was around eight years old, her and her mom get attacked by hunters. Ramona manages to get away with only a few scars but her mom gets kidnapped. Ramona goes on the run by herself for a while until she eventually runs into professor Badwolf again, who is immediately alarmed when he sees her alone.

When professor Badwolf finds out what happened he immediately helps Ramona and takes her in. He and Red do everything they can to look for Ramona's mom but they can't find her. Red hears talk in her village about there still being one more original wolf left and that the hunters are using Ramona's mom to find her. Red knows now that she's still alive but the hunters still have her hidden away somewhere. Ramona overhears Red and Badwolf talking about it and is scared of what the hunters might have done.

After a lot of consideration and with Ramona's permission, professor Badwolf adopts Ramona so that he can take care of her until they find her mom. No one questions why he suddenly has a kid now because everyone knows how the wolves just pick someone every few years to be the next Big Bad Wolf so they just assume they picked her and now professor Badwolf has to take care of her.

After a lot of time Ramona starts to call them mom and dad but still loves and misses her biological mom. Her and Cerise grow closer and start feeling like real siblings but after years of being on the run for who she was born to be she hates the fact that Cerise has to where her hood. Thats why she says she's "taking this under-the-hood thing too far" because she hates having to hide who she really is.

Despite how long it's been, Ramona's mom is still with the hunters. The only reason she's survived this long is because of her healing factor. One, because she heals quickly from their torture and two, because they still want to see to what extent her healing factor can go and if they can find a way to give themselves the same ability. She worries everyday about Ramona and has no idea what happened to her. She knows that she's not with the hunters because they're still trying to get her to tell them where she is so she has atleast a little bit of relief because of that. She does everything she can to find a way to escape someday and is determined to find Ramona again.

Ramona wonders everyday what happened to her mom and never forgets about it. Anytime she has fun with the Badwolf/Hood family she feels quilty for how easy she has it now after how much her mom tried to protect her and what she must be going through with the hunters. There have been times when Ramona wants to go look for her mom herself but professor Badwolf always tells her that it isn't safe. Ramona only agrees to stay after realizing how much trouble she would cause for their family if anyone knew where she really came from.

Ramona loves her knew family and is so grateful she has a safe place to stay and people who care about her, but she still misses her mom and idolizes her for surviving for so long when she gets older and realizes just how hard her life must have been. Especially after she was born and she had to take care of her. She wants to be as strong as her bio mom but also wants to be kind like the Badwolf/Hood family was to her. She is determined to find her mom one day and help her have a normal life like she was able to have even if it's only for a little while.

Extra facts about this au:

- Ramona has a little necklace with a ring on it that she got from her bio mom when she was younger. The ring belonged to her mom and when her mom saw how much she liked it she gave it to Ramona and told her to always think of her when she saw it. It's Ramona's most prized possession. Cerise has learned that whenever Ramona fidgets with her necklaces it means she's missing her mom. She does everything she can to help whenever she sees her messing with it.

- Ramona also has a little box of trinkets that she found and collected from all the places she and her mom went to. Despite not having much growing up she cherished everything she has because her mom always managed to make her feel happy and loved and those trinkets remind her of that.

- Ramona has nightmares about the day she and her mom got attacked. She doesn't sleep much because of this and her staying up at night is how she found out about Justine's sleep dancing.

- Justine has seen Ramona's scars from when she was attacked and was both horrified and curious. When she asked, Ramona just said that it was the result of her doing regular dumb kid stuff but she didn't believe her. She eventually tells Justine about her mom and how she's adopted but only said that her mom went missing and that she moved around a lot as a kid. She didn't tell her about the hunters because she didn't want to scare or worry her too much.(Not really important to the story but I'm a sucker for this ship)

- From a young age, Ramona's mom taught her how to fight and defend herself just incase there was a time that she couldn't protect her. Ramona continued to train by herself once her mom was kidnapped so that she could defend herself and so she could save her mom one day. She keeps this a secret from most people so that she also has the element of surprise if she ever does have to fight. The only people who know about this are the Badwolf/Hood family. Cerise even helps her train sometimes.

- Ramona was also taught how survive in the woods and use her resources to their fullest potential purposes. Because of this she is part of the top of her classes that involve botany. (Mainly Chemistry)

AND THATS MY AU... My thought process while thinking of this was all over the place. If I had motivation I could write a whole fanfic about this but I dont sooo.....have this long tumblr post instead.
