In anticipation of the changing of the throne in Denmark on Sunday, I recommend watching De Kongelige Juveler. The documentary on Scandinavian royal jewel was made in 2011 by Nordisk and aired on DR.
The narration is in Danish but the interviews are in English. It features with Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, Queen Silvia of Sweden, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, Prince Henrik of Denmark, Princess Benedikte of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, and Prince Michael of Greece.
And it's the origin of my favorite Queen Margrethe II quote, "We don't count the carats, we count the centuries." I mean how great is that?
