Have you seen this childhood show: Viva Piñata (2006-2009), Canada and United States (English)

Commentary/Context/Memories: This literally felt like baby’s first Family Guy in retrospect.

[Mod A: I have not actually seen an episode of this show but I remember seeing the commercials for it (it just didn’t interest me at the time, as I was beginning to watch more shows on Family Channel rather than YTV). This show was about a group of various piñata animals with the mains being: Hudson Horstachio (horse piñata), Paulie Pretztail (a red tail fox/pretzel? crossbreed), Fergy Fudgehog (a hedgehog/fudge crossbreed), and Franklin Fizzlybear (grizzly bear with purple and yellow stripes). They live on Piñata Island where they eat candy in order to achieve the goal of having eaten enough candy to be sent to a party via the Piñata Central Cannoñata; at the party they are cracked open, repaired and then sent back to the island to repeat this cycle (which is really quite a morbid cycle when you really think about it). Two of the characters seem to have negative feelings about the parties (Pretztail is annoyed by them while Fudgehog is scared of going to the parties); because Horstachio is considered a celebrity, he goes to parties often (I have no idea how this affects his mental state though). The island is not completely safe though, as Professor Pester and his Ruffians (minions) aim to capture any piñata in order to get their candy. The show was released alongside with the video game (they had the same plot) and the show was actually used to help gamers get tips on how to interact with the piñatas in the game (as their personalities were the same on both the show and the game). Haven’t heard of a show and a video game being so closely tied together!]

Strangers (Viva Pinata) Rafe (OC) X Male!Reader))) Pt.1

You wanted this, so here you go. (Fuck i had to fix this to explain what he looked like.)

I flipped through the pages of my book, trying to find the page about Pretztails. I finally found the page and went into my house to find a carrot seed. I came back out and was going to plant it, but there was someone unrecognizable standing near my Kittyfloss, giving it pets as it rubbed against their leg. His skin was a light tan and he had messy swept back, brown hair, with deep brown eyes. He wore a dark brown leather jacket with a black shirt underneath. He had jeans and working boots. I shoved the carrot seed into my pocket and made my way over to them.

"Who are you? And what are you doing in my garden?" I asked.

"Leafos didn't teach you to treat your guests like that, did she?" He asked, standing to his full height and eyeing me.

I pulled the carrot seed back out of my pocket, grabbed my shovel from the side of the house, digging a small hole in the ground.

"What do you want?" I asked as I placed the seed into the hole and burying it.

I pulled out my watering can and sprinkled the already sprouting plant.

"You're (Mother’s name), right?" He asked. (I actually had my fem name here so oof)

I stiffened.

"No. They're dead." I sighed, standing back up, staring down at the carrot seed. "I'm (Y/n)." I struck my hand out to him.

He shook it. "Rafe." He says, then looks around my garden. "This is such a beautiful garden."

I was embarrassed by the compliment. "Thanks."

"Your Kittyfloss is so gentle, what's its name?" He asks.

I rubbed the back of my neck. “I haven’t gotten around to naming it yet.” I responded. “I’ve been too busy trying to get the Pretztail.”

“You’ve been having trouble with that?” He says. “You have a wonderful garden, is it really that hard to get a Bunnycomb?”

I raised a brow, looking back over to the carrot, which had already popped out of the ground. “They’re afraid of my Kittyfloss.”

“Oh.” He crossed his arms. “Well, after you get that Pretztail, you wanna come with me to have a drink.”

I raised my hand. “I don’t drink.”

“Do you wanna get coffee sometime?” He then asked.

“I don’t drink coffee.” I replied, leaning down to pick up the carrot, moving it towards the edge of my garden.

“Wanna go out to eat?” He asked.

“I can do that.” I then turned to him. “When?”

“I said after you get your Pretztail.” He said.

“So tomorrow.” I replied. “I should get it by the middle of the night.”

“Yes, tomorrow…” He smiled. “I’ll be by noon to come get you.”

“Are we walking?” I asked.

“Yes, it’s not that far from your garden actually.” Rafe said.

“Thank god.” I laughed. “Alright, well I’m heading- Oh look, the Bunnycomb is here.” I said, turning to look at the carrot that had popped up not too long ago.

Me and Rafe watched as the black and white Bunnycomb went over to the carrot and began to sniff it, making noises as it did. Then after a moment of contemplating, it ate the carrot quickly. Then, it began to jump around the air happily, making noises of excitement, its fur becoming a light blue.

“It’s too bad you were getting it just so it gets eaten by a Pretztail.” Rafe laughed.

“I know, I feel bad, but I really want a Pretztail.” I turned back to him. “Anyways, cao, I’ll see you tomorrow.” I sent him a wave as I went into my house.

“Bye.” He waved back and then began out of my garden.

I stood behind my door for a moment, then let out an exasperated sigh. I wasn’t used to talking to strangers, mainly because the only visitors I got were Seedos and Leafos. I mean, Rafe was attractive, but wasn’t I ready for a date with a friendly stranger. What if he isn’t friendly and he’s really mean. Ugh, I can’t focus on this, I’m just gonna focus on my Pretztail. I pulled out my book and flipped through again, trying to find the next Pinata to go after. I stopped on the Newtgat. It was so cute and I was hoping to get a couple. I just need to plant three Watercress flowers. I’ll put some green fertilizer on it so it can grow two times more stems. Having that little Newtgat in my garden would make it so much better. Wait, 3 km of water, ugh, I’ll have to dig more space to make my small pond bigger. That’s okay. This date Rafe has asked me on is really taking up my gardening time, maybe I could just politely tell him I’m actually going to be super busy tomorrow. After I get the Newtgat, I’m probably gonna go after something else.

After a while, sky would be approached by a rather normal looking pretztail, though something was off, as, like the odd mallowolf, it had a mask on. It sat before sky, the air around it warm, though nothing threatening about it, and it seemed to have no interest in preying on weaker piñata. Then, strangest of all, it spoke. "Hi sky, how are you?" Sky was minding their own business, and greeted the pretztail like they would any pinata, half crouching to become eye-level with it. “Hey buddy, what’s up? Need something?” Sky asked in a baby tone of voice. As soon as the pretztail spoke, Sky jumped. Their tail frizzed, ears flattened, face red. Embarrassing.

“Hey, uh, shit, hi. I’m sorry, do I know you?” Sky asked, unsure if the pretztail had actually just spoken or if they were tripping.

I hate the professor and his ruffians destroying my garden. To get rid of them buy the captain cutlass. You will never see one again. You have to be at a certain level to unlock it. How To Get A Pigxie

First, you need to romance a swanna and a rashberry once with their own species, then you will need to either sell or destroy both the rashberry and the swanna home, then you will need to buy a mystery home (a pigxie home but it says mystery home) then give the swanna and the rashberry each a romance candy, then romance them. You will get a pigxie! (You will have to do the maze and watch the video as normal) You will also get an achievement for cross breeding the two.

Four Headed Sryupent

Have two Syrupents romance. When the egg is delivered, wait for it to do a big jump before hatching, then hit it with your shovel. If you hit it at the correct moment, you should now have a Two Headed Syrupent. To get the Four Headed Sryupent, have the Two Headed Syrupent romance. Do the same thing with the egg as before with the shovel.

Insta Fertilizer For Any And Every Plant

Get an alligator pinata by taming a sour gator, when it turn’s green click on it then the plant you want fertilized. The gator will cty on it thus fertilizing it, you can only fertilize three times though.

Blue Sweettooth

Direct a sweettooth to a blue bell (fully grown) or blue bell flower head it will eat it and it will turn blue.

How To Get A Two Headed Snake

First of all you need two snakes and they have to have a baby then when the EGG is jumping high hit it with your sovel and it has two heads you can do the same thing with the two headed snake to get a four headed snake you CANT get a eight headed snake so don’t try it!

How To Get A Gold Bunnycomb

All you have to to is grow or buy a pumpkin and feed it to a full grown bunnycomb and it will turn gold.

How To Get A Sweetooth; The Easy Way

First you have to get a Bogesicle. Then tell it to walk into some water. If it walks all the way across and if the water is deep enough it will turn into a Sweetooth.

Get A Redd Hott

Lead a taffly to a Firebrand. It will go through the firebrand if it is turned on. Take out your watering can and than select long pour. Pour the water over the taffly and the value will increase 1500.

Toffee Apple

Need to give your Horse Pinata a toffee apple, butdon’t know how?? Well, all you have to do iseither buy or grow an apple, the go to Bart’sExchange go to gold Bart head and have Bart tinkerwith the apple and it will turn into a ToffeeApple. Trust me, it IS SAFE to feed your Horsachiothis!

How To Keep Out Ruffians And Professor Pester

To keep Ruffians and Professor Pester out of your garden forever all you have to do is the buy the Captain Cutlass item from Ivor’s Shop. (You must be level 30 or higher to be able to get this item.)

Flutterscotch Species

To get all of the different Flutterscotch colors (red, blue, black, green, pink, and purple) you have to feed a white flutterscotch a specific flowerhead:

red - poppy flowerheadblue - bluebell flowerheadblack - tulip flowerheadgreen - watercress flowerheadpink - waterlily flowerheadpurple - thistle flowerhead

Keep in mind that once you mate two of the same color, their offspring are white flutterscotches.

Red Badgsickle

Get one of you Badgesickles to eat an apple and they will turn red!

Ruffians Attack!

Get Ruffians out of your garden ASAP! Sometimes they will destroy houses and when they’re doing this you can’t do anything about it. The best thing to do is sell the house before they destroy it and then whack them with your shovel like ten times.

Fertilizer

This is simple, though you may need a bit of experience to do it right. All you need to do, is take a fruit or vegetable and get a Taffly to eat it. It’ll turn into a fertilizer that can be used to grow that plant. However, some fruits and vegetables will not turn into fertilizer.

Cheap Black Berry Jam

First buy a blackberry. Then tell Bart to carve it and it will turn to black berryjam.

New Seeds

Every time Seedos comes, talk to him after a few times he will give you a new seed.

How To Get A Yellow Flutterscotch

Feed a white Flutterscotch a buttercup an it will turn into a yellow Fluterscotch.

Yellow Pinata

Feed a banana to a Salamango or a Juicygoose and they will turn yellow.

Blue Newtgat

Feed a newtgat a bluebell and it will turn blue.

New Specious: Squazzil

Get the squazzil (the squirrel) to eat a blackberry and it will turn blue.

New Specious: Lickatoad

Feed the lickatoad (the frog) a blackberry and it will turn blue.

Green Shellbean

Feed a Shellbean a goose berry ant it will turn green.

If you feed a pretzel a bluebell it will turn blue.

Feed a quackberry a gooseberry.

Feed a sparrowmint a buttercup and you will get acandary.

Grab a Quackberry, (The duck) and get it to eat a gooseberry, (a fruit you can grow or purchase) and it will transform into a purple Goose-like pinata.

Feed a Taffly the flowerhead from a poison ivy plant, and it’ll turn green!

New Species: Pretztail

Give a Pretztail (The Fox) a Bluebell Flowerhead, (Make it eat it) and it will turn Blue.
