Day 8 in Ireland.. today we drove from Dublin to Derry. Here are pictures of Derry. Mom and I found a place to have tea and scones!! As we walked through this amazing historic city with gates and walls, historic streets and murals, there is so much more than meets the eye. Much has happened here. We hope and pray for peace. Despite all the injustice and politics and divisions, there is a peace that can be had deep inside our own hearts that can spill out of us into this wounded world. When we are right on the inside we will be right on the outside. We continued on to see the amazing Grianan of Aileach.. a circular stone fort. Apparently St Patrick baptized people here and it was a spot for kings. Included here is a beautiful picture from the art museum in Dublin. It is Abraham speaking with the 3 men/angels who visited him. He pleads with them to spare a nearby city which is entirely corrupt since his nephew lives there. My Mom and I loved this picture so much when we saw it. It shows Abraham’s posture of humility towards God. He is not afraid to ask and plead for the lives of others he loves. This is the kind of love that is from above that grows in our hearts and lives and spills into the world around us… Abraham affected so many lives in history because of his simple faith. My Life

My life has been really hard the last 10 years. Don’t get me wrong I’ve had some good moments in that time, but I’ve also had some not-so-great times. Even before 2012 I had some rough moments but not as much as the last 10. My childhood wasn’t horrible, but I did go through some things that I shouldn’t have had to encounter but it made me stronger as a person. At this point in my life, I don’t feel like I belong anywhere, not even with my own blood. I once felt like I fitted with my Best Friend, but my family has even takin that from me at this point. I feel like a burden and a bother. I stay to myself at this point cause my feelings are so all over the place that I fall into crying most days no matter where I am or what I’m doing. It has really been rough since I lost my dad last year. It seems like the harder I try I just get farther and farther away from a solution. I wish I had a family. I really don’t feel like I have one. The real sad part is that I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters, but I only hear from one of my sisters, the only time I hear from anyone else is when they want to complain about something or try to chew me out about shit that has nothing to do with them in my life. There’s never a “I’m just checking on you” text or call. I just don’t feel like I have anyone frfr. And every day I’m reminded of that. I wish people really loved me. I love everyone and express it often, but I don’t get that back from those I love. My birthday is November 30th and I’m supposed to celebrate on Saturday night, I got a booth, but I really don’t think anyone is really coming to celebrate with me, but I’m used to it I’ll just be in my section all alone. My life is so sad! This will be my last birthday party that I will give myself, after this birthday I will be traveling alone to places I want to see, because after all I LOVE THE FUCK OUT OF ME, FUCK EVERYONE ELSE!

Life is so different without Shanice Abria. She touched so many lives just like those candles we lite at her vigil. Words matter... Energy matters... Love matters... Life matters. So many people losing their kids it's so sad. I know exactly how it feels to want to jump off of a bridge.... I thank God that I made it.
