Hey, been a while since i entered tumblr and had you on my feed. Just to find out you've started a tattoo apprenticeship??? I want you to tattoo me so bad but I don't get to have a visa, you ever think about visiting the south?

woAHH im no where near an apprenticeship yet im trying to get to a good point to where im confident enough to tattoo Real Skin so for the time being im just practicing on the side figuring out the technicalities and health precautions ect. but i aim to hopefully get into the industry by August or somethin bc to say my current job is making me miserable is a severe understatement Ha but yeah im gettin there and i already live in the south brother eEHAWW 🐄🤠🐓👨‍🌾 unless you mean South south like south america or mexico or somethin in that case that would be metal af it would be an honor 🥺

i think my interview this morning went well!!

#im not trying to speculate on whether or not i think i have the job #but i feel good about how the interview went #i am getting anxious about money again though #and this interview happened during one of the company-wide training days for the second job i just started #bc the first job is uh. i will have had one (1) shift for the entire second pay period of this month #so that one is very much a supplementary 'fill in when needed and wanted' kind of position #but unfortunately i have a conference during ANOTHER training day for the more stable job next weekend.#and i just feel like im somehow showing them that im unreliable?? and that then they will not want to schedule me??#idfk thats the fear talking. practically speaking if they didnt want me they wouldnt hire me. the store manager and the dm both #said that it's not a big deal so i will do my best to trust them #hhhhhh i have a tour booked for an apartment next tuesday afternoon and i hope . ?? i can wiggle my way in to another training sesh next we #idk if thats something i can request or try to suggest w my store manager or if i have to wait on him to get to me about it #but i will find out on monday when theres the next session that i can make #blah blah blah

I have a week and a half of finals left and I am not making it through y’all 🙏

#I js finished my aps on Monday and ap studying is a whole different kind of beast #and so were finals last year #this year finals are light as fuck and that means I will not be studying much this week cuz I cannot get myself to take this shit seriously #like Monday? hell. ap gov and apah on one day #I had to cover 40 percent of apah on my own in the weekend before the exam cuz the teacher didn’t 😭#I also still had to review for gov #so I was spending like 18-20 hours a day on studying for those classes last weekend #and then taking the tests were fun but also horrible experiences #cuz of all the fucking writing #l got to near 20 pages of writing that day #and now I’m spending like an hour and a half max reviewing for anything #I have a final tomorrow and I’m so unserious about it #the only kinda stressful thing is Spanish and bio both being next Thursday #and ig math on Monday #but they’re still pretty light cuz I hv so much time to study #when we don’t hv tests it’s all study hall #so I’m just sitting in a room for 5 hrs working during school #and that’s more than enough time for those exams #like I just have to do 80ish practice problems and make flashcards for Spanish everyday until Sunday #and then I’m gonna check my math study guide on Sunday #and then continue studying Spanish flashcards every day leading up to next Thursday #other than that I have to make lang flashcards and study a bit for lang (prob like 2ish hours) next Monday #and like 6-7 hours of studying bio #like this is not that bad???#and I’m so excited for summer!!!#I alr have so many things prepped I wanna do!!#imma try to read for 24 hrs straight & draw more & get back into printmaking & do an internship & work on speech and debate #& volunteer at a library with my friends & study for next yr & learn to knit/crochet #& listen to music more & get back into piano fr & exercise #ares.txt

Hi everyone please be mildly disappointed in me for starting the fabric cutting on my quilted scarf gift project at 2:45 AM, but everyone be proud of me for realizing at 3:45 AM that it was an insane choice and that I should be satisfied with my progress and go the fuck to sleep instead of staying up til 6 am and making a fuckton of cutting mistakes.

#tag #quilting #I only made 1 mistake #and it’s easy cutting which is why it’s so tempting #I was like ‘surely I can knock out the cutting before bed’#‘then I can do the piecing this weekend and quilt it by next week!’#but my guy. (my guy is me here)#I did 1/3rd of the background cutting in about an hour #so the background alone would have taken me til almost 6 am #nd then the accent cutting would likely take the same amount just given the pieces involved #that said it’s nice to know a calculation for how long I’ll be putting into this #usually I enter ADHD mode for however long and have no fucking clue how long I’ve worked #now I know: cutting on this specific project is equivalent to about 5-6 hours of working undistracted but kinda slowly #I imagine piecing won’t take too long if I do my prep work right #the prep work itself will probably be an hour including toying around with the design #and the quilting will be verrrry quick but I SHOULD do a practice block bc I’m working with minky fabric for the first time
