yeah fuck it why not

anyway. poll for initiative: bedlam is good. the main characters are delightful and also in love. i'm writing about their first time together. this is a piece of that bcus i'm going feral about my own writing. lmao.

A thought apparently shared by Cassandra, as she sat up and Lys got the world’s best seat to Cassandra pulling off her shirt and tossing it somewhere else in the cabin. She settled on her knees, staring down at Lys for a moment to let them both catch their breath. Her skin glowed in the lantern light, the flames catching the peaks and valleys of her muscles and the streaks of her body hair, the orange blending with red to make something ethereal, like the fae who used to try and lure Lys deeper into the woods. There was a scar that started at Cassandra’s belly button and trailed up and under one of her breasts that Lys had never seen before. Her breasts themselves, free of her shirt, were practically begging for Lys to hold them. Looking up from her position lying underneath Cassandra, Lys suddenly understood why people knelt in church.

Lys sat up, relishing in how quickly Cassandra’s hands were on her again as they crashed back together. They slipped under her shirt and to her waist, holding Lys tight and bracing her against the lips that started with a proper kiss and quickly moved on to explore the parts of her neck and jaw that made Lys moan and shudder. Lys’s hands wandered between shudders, landing everywhere she could touch -- Cassandra’s hips, her waist, her back, her breasts, her shoulders, her neck -- to test for the touches and places that made Cassandra stutter and whine in turn. Trailing her nails along the curves of Cassandra’s muscles earned her consistent noises of appreciation and she delighted in how her nipples perked up when Lys cradled them in the dips between her fingers; Cassandra pricked the soft parts of her jaw on her fangs as her nails dug into Lys’s skin, lighting up nerves that had never been so awake before. Heat was continuing to gather in Lys’s abdomen as her body tried to process how much pleasure she was feeling even with no hands passing her waistband. Despite a gut feeling that she wasn't at risk of cumming untouched, it certainly felt like a possibility, as though the pleasure from being lavished alone would drive her over the edge. And perhaps it would have, if she hadn't found herself practically drooling over the idea of getting her mouth and fingers on Cassandra and earning a few even louder sounds, at the idea that the favor could be returned -- Cassandra’s fingers were thicker than her own, after all. And Cassandra had yet to bite her. Gods, she wanted everything about her. The sensation coursing through her was more akin to a hunger than any lust she’d felt before tonight, a craving for everything they could give each other, a desperation to put her hands on every inch of her girlfriend and commit all of it to memory. Was this the kind of desire that drove people to madness, to heroics, to acts of true devotion? Was this what people meant when they talked about true love? The lanterns flared up as she moved her hands to Cassandra’s face and crashed their mouths together in a kiss that was all teeth and tongue and a rushing, boiling desire to make her entire mouth taste like Cassandra.

i love poll for initiative so much and it deserves so much more attention than its getting and every once in a while i think "i should post about it more on tumblr, get it out to a wider audience" bc man i need some fanfic for this shit do i have to do everything myself but then i remember that bedlam is a character so perfectly designed to fit tumblr sexyman criteria and realize that this is a burden we few must carry bc i cant imagine the absolute depravity that would be unleashed on the world should he escape containment and the worst thing is he would love it which would only make him more powerful

I trumpet mounting tension and suspense,

precariously looms - casting dark shadow

While safely ensconced in his man cave

yours truly snug as a bug in a rug

quite aware the geopolitical stakes grave

speculating whether I will be forced to sell lave

over a hot stove to earn me keep

attending tsoris of missus rant and rave,

especially if social security stripped away.

Should the Republican incumbent

clinch the nomination again courtesy voter disenfranchisement,

hooligans threatening violence,

spewing conspiracy theories,

or other sleazy maneuvers,

the country most definitely

headed toward perdition

condemning everyone minus super rich

to live as basket of deplorables

scrounging for measly scraps.

Figurative screws tightened

upon scuttled constitutional birthrights,

while commander in chief forty five

arrogantly dons totalitarian mantle

still crying foul,

and insisting (née trumpeting)

Democrats rigged polling machines

exuding Grinchian grin

issuing one after another bromide

battleax and henchmen forthwith decide

peace on Earth and

good will toward men/women

making travesty founding fathers/mothers

pledge guaranteeing inalienable rights

subsequently sacred documents falsified

instituting instead corporal punishment,

whereby armed militia ordered

to smoke out where traitor sought to hide.

Indeed nothing like good n plenti

healthy dose of mayhem to roil

time tested democracy methinks

Thomas Jefferson would approve

of said message, yet no doubt stupefied

at how fledgling United States

matured into plutocracy

incorporating bajillion dollar campaign cost.

Blitzkrieg advertisements inundate airwaves

mudslinging contestants unethically behaves

how aging long haired pencil necked geek craves

idealistic civil plebeians versus patricians

lovely bones of interred forefathers

within weathered tombstones graves

plucked burial sites souvenirs stolen by knaves.

Best advice to ye dear reader rabbit

hunker down into bunker till end of time

keep yourself busy writing one or another rhyme,

cuz some future archeologist will discover

visa a vis profound wordsmith whose sublime

abilities necessitate special skill decoding

Where is ‘College GameDay’ this week? Location, schedule, guest picker for Week 10 on ESPN

“College GameDay” is breaking tradition somewhat in its latest college football destination, heading to Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati for the AAC meeting between Tulsa and the second-ranked Bearcats.

This will be Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard, David Pollack and company’s first visit to Nippert Stadium, and it couldn’t have come at a more opportune time for Luke Fickell’s team. The Bearcats are among the biggest storylines of the year this season as they try to prove their College Football Playoff worthiness alongside the usual suspects of Georgia, Oklahoma, Alabama, Ohio State and more.

The first set of rankings came out on Tuesday, with Cincinnati ranked No. 6 in the initial poll.

Cincinnati has more than just its five remaining opponents to defeat if it wants to make the 2021 Playoff. It must also defeat the perception that, as a Group of 5 team, it simply isn’t on the same level as its Power 5 counterparts. A win over the 3-5 Golden Hurricanes won’t do much to impress objective observers, but it is an opportunity for quarterback Desmond Ridder and Co. to put on a clinic in a nationally televised game.

Cincinnati does have two wins over Power 5 competition, however, traveling to beat both Indiana and Notre Dame, the latter of which ranked No. 8 in the initial CFP poll. Wins over SMU and a potential meeting with Houston in the AAC championship game could also be resume-boosters (both teams are ranked in both the AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll, but conspiciuously absent from the CFP rankings). Will they be enough to vault the Bearcats into the Playoff?

Only time will tell, but “College GameDay” will be there to document the first step forward for the Bearcats on Saturday. With that, here’s everything you need to know as “College GameDay” makes its way to Nippert Stadium:

Where is ‘College GameDay’ location for Week 10?

Location: Cincinnati

Matchup: Tulsa at No. 6 Cincinnati

“GameDay” on Saturday will head to Cincinnati’s Nippert Stadium for the first time in the history of the show. It will be only the second time the Bearcats are among the featured matchups on “GameDay.” They are 0-1 all time ahead of the Week 10 meeting with Tulsa — their only previous appearance was a 38-13 loss at No. 11 UCF in 2018.

Tulsa will also make its first appearance on “GameDay” on Saturday.

‘College GameDay’ schedule on ESPN

TV channel: ESPN

Start time: 9 a.m. ET

Davis, Herbstreit, Howard and Pollack will preview Week 9 action live from Spartan Stadium starting at 9 a.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2, with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. ET.

“GameDay” has a few viable options for Week 11. The first is No. 8 Oklahoma at No. 12 Baylor, which would be only the second Big 12 matchup of the season. That said, it may hedge its bets and hope No. 11 Oklahoma State takes only one loss into its Week 13 Bedlam rivalry matchup. Another option is the ranked matchup between No. 14 Texas A&M and No. 16 Ole Miss. Both teams have two losses in SEC play, so the winner is out of contention to play for the SEC championship game. The winner retains a slim chance.

No. 7 Michigan and Penn State face off as well; the Wolverines must avoid a loss if they want to remain in contention for the Big Ten East championship — the Nittany Lions would enjoy nothing more than to ruin Jim Harbaugh’s season.

it's almost pride month so i wanted to take the chance to draw Women™, and i've been thinking a lot about these two. I think they deserve to go on a beach vacation but like, for real this time, no deadlines just love and warm sand. i did this on stream today and we ended up going with limited palettes just bcus i felt like it! plus, it meant that i could add touches of the other person's palette to each of them which is Adorable, including their blush colors and nails!!

Baker Mayfield can’t see how Ohio State and Penn State could be ranked ahead of the Sooners, and he has a point

When the initial Playoff rankings get released, the Sooners might be behind a team they beat handily.

Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield’s a bit confused. In comments leading up to this week’s Bedlam game, Mayfield discussed not understanding how Ohio State and Penn State could be ranked ahead of his Sooners in the AP poll. OU’s No. 8, while the team it beat in Columbus is No. 3. His head coach, Lincoln Riley, says the same thing.

Ohio State probably won’t be No. 3 in the actual Playoff rankings, but it could still be ahead of the Sooners.

I feel Mayfield here, particularly as it pertains to the Buckeyes. His team didn’t just beat Ohio State on the field, Oklahoma dominated the Buckeyes in Columbus. It was a massive road win.

But seasons are more than one game long, and Ohio State’s resume is comparable right now to Oklahoma’s.

The Buckeyes’ loss to Oklahoma looks a little better than Oklahoma’s loss to Iowa State.

Ohio State does have a top-10 win of its own, albeit a close one at home.

Ohio State has also dominated lesser teams, while the Sooners were pushed to the brink by Baylor, Texas, and Kansas State.

One simple strength-of-schedule measure, similar to those the committee uses, credits the Buckeyes with a slightly tougher schedule.

Even if Ohio State is ahead of Oklahoma in these first CFP rankings, it won’t be by a wide margin.

Our own projected rankings have them lumped in the 4-to-6 range in some order, along with Clemson.

The season is far from over. Resumes are far from complete.

Oklahoma still controls its destiny and has a big opportunity to fill out things this week against rival Oklahoma State.

On the @OU_Football @OhioStateFB debate. After Bedlam, OU either significantly enhances resume’ or not. Potential outrage can wait
