Finished painting a set of pendants for a commission about Shackleton's Trans-Antarctic expedition. Endurance, whales, Frank Hurley and penguins. Sea pottery officially captured my brain.

Laethanta Sona Duit, Captain Francis Rawdon Moira Crozier
🎉 Happy Birthday, Francis Rawdon Moira Crozier! 🎉
On this special day, we celebrate the life of an extraordinary and well beloved man, Francis Rawdon Moira Crozier. Born on September 17, 1796, Crozier was a distinguished Irish explorer and Royal Navy officer. He played a crucial role in several significant Arctic expeditions during the 19th century.
One of his most notable expeditions was the ill-fated Franklin Expedition of 1845, led by Sir John Franklin. Tragically, the expedition met with disaster, and both Franklin and Crozier, along with their crew, faced unimaginable hardships. Crozier's bravery and unwavering determination in the face of adversity have left an enduring mark on the annals of polar exploration.
In honor of this remarkable man, let's remember the spirit of adventure and resilience he embodied.
Cheers to the legacy of Francis Rawdon Moira Crozier!
Many thanks to the communities throughout the world and across the seas that have done remarkable and exemplary work that immortalises this incredible man. From the book "The Terror" by Dan Simmons to the Television series "The Terror". From "Frozen in Time" to "Icebound in the Arctic" there beholds a magnificent selection of honourary legends and texts to grapple onto. Through time itself, we sail forwards with shared comradery, adoration, respect, and above all else, love for this extraordinary man.
