Card games for the Naegi family can be very....uhh....let's say competitive. Yes. ;;;;;;;;;(人◕ω◕) In this particular case, Otomi (Chisa's daughter) finds herself handily beaten by some of the more fierce card players in the family. Well not JUST Otomi but Izumi as well. Losing to her juniors is just embarrassing after all. But being the first one to lose even before the kids is just salt in the wound. (人◕ω◕) So it boils down to Ryoko, Kanade, Celeste, Celeste's daughter Melanie, and Yuzuki (Komaru's daughter). Ryoko isn't exactly too happy with the secret team-up Kanade and Yuzuki have concocted in order to form a temporary alliance to beat Celeste and her daughter both of whom are gamblers. But of course, A. Yuzuki and Kanade will deny any accusations of cheating from Ryoko and B. They will argue there's nothing against teaming up in Poker and that they don't have an almighty talent like Analyst. XDDD Still, Celeste and her daughter are.....well there's no greater rivalry or clash in the entire family except when these two are facing off against each other. Neither is unwilling to lose, both have incredible luck and skill, and both have amazing poker faces and subtle jabs and insults to throw people off their game. It becomes the classic dilemma. The unstoppable force vs the immovable object. ;;;;;;;;;(人◕ω◕)

The charge hinged on the hold-up of a group of card players at the apartment of James Woods on December 17. Harvey Laforme and Huron Claus, pleaded guilty to the charge Wednesday and are at present awaiting sentence.

When the time came for Huron Claus to be sworn, it was 'found necessary to look up the Indian Act regarding the way to swear in a non-Christian Indian. Claus was questioned closely by the magistrate regarding his religious beliefs and then repeated a declaration that "he solemnly affirmed and declared the evidence he would give to the court in the case would be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.” 

After a further caution regarding perjury, Claus took the stand and identified the pistol which he had carried during the robbery.
