With the fact that we met Perrin, who is definitely 100% Adaman's descendant for sure, does this mean that when part 2 comes out, we could meet Irida's potential descendant in Part 2?! And with the existence of Bloodmoon Ursaluna, this means that Ursaluna never went extinct. Or maybe it branched off because of some weird mutation involving the moon, one branch would later go extinct while the other continued to exist. Or maybe both theories are wrong and that all the Hisuian pokemon are likely being kept somewhere safe, like in a nature preserve somewhere.

UPDATE: Spoilers to anyone who has not yet played both halves and the epilogue, we did not meet Irida's descendant. Maybe we will in Gen 10, who knows? :(

The Kitakami siblings, Bitter the Sinistcha, and Fuji the Dipplin! I'm playing through the Teal Mask story with only new Pokemon I found - which is, well, only Sinistcha and Dipplin. They're adopted siblings, apprentices of magic, and heroes of a legend with Ogrepon and the Loyal Three. Sibling angst ensues. (They're basically the Kieran and Carmine of the gijinkaverse.)

To celebrate the occasion, I am going to do an eight day posting challenge of all the first choice Partner Pokémon starting from Kanto and working our way down to Galar! Soooooo,

in the expansion pass (dlc) there’s this event where you can double battle against and with characters (the Galarian star tournament). Now, I haven’t paired Bede and Hop together because they’re really hard to get together- for some uncalled for reason- yet I and some others have put them against each other in battle. Though, when you do that, it’s super strange the way they act together. We have reason to believe that Hop and Bede made up inbetween the base game and the post game but everything happened behind the scenes. We don’t know if they did or not. You interact with them together at some points in the post game, and they seem to be getting along well. So we all came to the conclusion, “oh! They made up! Cool!”. It was at this time when some people, me included, started to ship them. At first it was just a non canon ship, you know? But that was until the 2nd dlc came out.

So, I looked into it more but in the double battle thing, when you- as the player- pair up with Bede, he says things like, “didn’t you have someone better to team up with?” Or “just don’t get in my way ok?”. Now this is all perfectly normal, Bede has always been a petty asshole, so he’s like this to everyone (except Opal of corse-). He puts up what I would describe as a shield wall. He doesn’t seem to like anyone... except Hop. When you put them in a battle against each other they start to joke, laugh, even flirt. They call each other nicknames and tease each other in a romantic fashion. All their conversations are directed to the other and they don’t seem to care about the other people there, only about each other. Also when Bede calls Hop: “Mr wannabe professor Hop” -one of my favourite nicknames from Bede, Bede’s eyes have a shimmer to them (this is done on purpose btw). Bede’s eyes only have a shimmer when he’s in his element, when he’s truly being himself. I know this because it happens so many times in the game, you can just tell. Soooo I’m just saying! Bede feels like he can be himself with Hop. Like he doesn’t have to pretend. To me that sounds like way more than friendship.
