Had an interesting idea for the Chroniclerverse, but putting it down in a readmore just in case it goes into spoiler territory

Since the .karma files and the revamped chapters of v13.5 revealed that the world had gone through countless resets, I was thinking that what if for each iteration of the timeline, there's a different Interceptor?

And just to follow the current versions available as of writing this post, I'll say that the timeline has been reset for thirteen times total (from v1 all the way to v13.5 which technically counts as a fourteenth ig??), and having gone through a total of seven Interceptors (which means each of them had gone through a reset themselves).

So, in order of the Interceptors: Aevis - Interceptor of the first and second iterations Aevia - Interceptor of the third and fourth iterations Ariana - Interceptor of the fifth and sixth iterations Axel - Interceptor of the seventh and eight iterations Aero - Interceptor of the ninth and tenth iterations Alain - Interceptor of the eleventh and twelfth iterations

The current Interceptor is of course Hauyne, who's the Interceptor of the thirteenth iteration and also the Interceptor of the current fourteenth timeline.

Crescent becoming a co-Interceptor is actually a very recent development (she only became one in the thirteenth iteration onwards), and she has very little knowledge of the timeline resets (she does, however, remember bits and pieces of the thirteenth). In the thirteenth timeline, Crescent was a relatively ordinary human with no powers aside from those she gained by being an Interceptor, but in the fourteenth she's a formidable Psychic Aura Wielder whose strength in battle is only matched and surpassed by her fellow Interceptor.

Aside from their own Pokemon, bearers of the Archetype seem to have subconsciously remembered the previous timeline and will gradually regain those memories as time passes. Melia is an exception to this, having remembered all of the previous timelines (by virtue of being one of the very first main characters to be introduced in the game) even if she cannot consciously recall them (except for a brief period of time following the failed sacrifice in the Isle of Angels).

I'll write more when I get more ideas, but this is it for now.

hii is there any up-to-date list of the current canon lgbt characters in rejuv? i've seen a couple floating around but i didnt know how old they were

This list was posted on Jan's tumblr way back and is still accurate so I'm including it before elaborating on new additions;

The previously unnamed trans character is Particia! To add to the list, Martin & Kreiss are also both gay (tho this should speak for itself considering they're married). V is also nonbinary. For the Xenogene characters, Lucile is a lesbian, as well as Wynn being pan and Saber being bi. There's also two new female Team Xen and Team Anti-Assist grunts that elope during the Rowlet sidequest at Tyluric Temple LOL but they're not exactly major characters

Also, all characters are intended to be considered pan by default unless specifically stated to be otherwise.... i.e. Texen being straight (which wasn't included in this screenshot but is one that Jan confirmed on his tumblr jehrjsdhgsjdg)

I don't know any other official confirmations from the top of my head, but if I had to give a couple of personal headcanons— I definitely think that Ren, Talon and Florin are all at the very least bi. I think Xara also might be lesbian, though she might lean more towards being demiromantic. In turn, I think Risa's either pan or bi as well. There's also whatever the fuck Geara & Zetta have going on, but I'm not really sure how to classify those two??????????????????

let's just call it "it's complicated"

God so. v13 I wasn't super partial to Crescent. I def liked her, especially her design, and she had a lot of intrigued and I wanted to learn more. But I couldn't say I was too terribly invested in her.

But 13.5 I love her so much. The sher. She deserves the world.
