Got super bored so have some collections of Pokemon characters and their families. Mostly canon, a few implied or otherwise inferred...

Parents & Kids (i know N and his sisters is supposed to be adopted, but he fucking looks just like ghetsis there's no way they aren't related... also the goddess sisters filled space) I wasn't gonna do every protago's parents, but I did the ones that have, like, a distinct role in the world other than being "Mom" trapped in her kitchen --like, DPPt's mom was a contest star, XY's Mom was a Rhydon racer. I considered putting Ariana as Silver's mom because it seems like it's an obvious conclusion to draw but there's really nothing textual to back it up, she just happens to be a red haired Rocket Admin.

Grandparents, and whatever the fuckk Grand Oak is...

Siblings, I'm counting the portrait of the Kalos king in Parfum Palace as AZ's younger brother who took over after AZ wandered off after the whole Ultimate Weapon ordeal. Also I know Lana's sisters are in the game, but don't look like they do in the anime, but it just felt aesthetically better than putting the generic twins trainers in there isntead.

I read pokespe pirated at first and then realized my library had copies of them and checked out a bunch like that. still read most of it pirated, like the later arcs.

I looked through the x/y just to see my boy Green show up, don’t really know what else happens there bc,,,yeah, kalos. I like the aesthetic of the legendaries but that’s about it.

if you ever get the chance + if it’s still up your alley, the actual manga is worth checking out :)

it was over ten years ago lol; they probably have things updated or removed for some standard of compliance

i've read up to emerald/battle frontier, i know of some dppt stuff but that's when the pokemon obsession waned

blegh kalos hard agree. even in the game i was literally yelling at my 3ds for lysandre to fucking do it bc so fucking tired of the game

legendary aesthetics were aight, but they hit me the hardest in pmsd and not in the actual game haha

Shitty Conway aesthetic: some pokemon characters are children despite the fact that to me they look like every guy in every college class i've ever been in. this guy is peers with dawn and ash so he's gotta be like 10 - 12, but i look at him and i see an exhausted undergrad working at starbucks in his spare time. make it make sense
