A thought while rewatching cutscenes from the game for the 104738th time -- Dion always calling Joshua "Phoenix", which to me says a lot about how he regards other dominants & how he's been taught to see them in society; the Eikon is first and foremost.
But similar to how, when Joshua thanks Dion for his assistance and says "Your Highness" and then Dion replies "Dion, please." - what if in a tender, sincere moment he finally calls him Joshua 🫠🥹

Plot Wishlist
General:
Any X-characters, but especially Storm, Shadowkat, Cyclops, Iceman, Jean Grey, Abigail Brand, Havok, Dazzler, Colossus, Mr. Sinister, Charles Xavier, Magneto, Sabretooth, et al.
Verse specific plots below.
Feline Hank:
Decimation/Utopia-era plots, perhaps including a PTSD recovery arc for Hank after his torture at the hands of Norman Osborn. Poor guy was literally having flashbacks at the drop of a hat and the best he got was a 'you're the rock, so idk just cope better' speech - would love to dive into this.
Fun, shippy things! Hank is a loveable fella, but utterly bereft of actual self-esteem - tons of ego and bluster, but self-esteem? Wrong house, miss - and I love to see him reconcile the often inflated mental portrait he has of others with his diabolical self-image.
Mutant cure. Hank has a vial of it just sitting in a freezer. All it takes is one particularly bad day.
Post-Intervention Hank:
Anything with any X-character, diving into the period of time between All-New X-Men and Krakoa. Hank screwed up, majorly, and his emotional state is ridiculously fractious - engage with him on this! Force him to change! Or let's have blazing arguments! Let's do both, fuck it!
Inhuman + Kang interactions! Hank was only with them for a short period of time in the grand scheme of things, but I dearly love that he made friends during his time here, and it breaks my heart that he felt like he couldn't go back after Inhumans vs. X-Men.
Avengers:
Defenders interactions! Especially Isaac Christians (Gargoyle), Patsy Walker (Hellcat) and Heather Douglas (Moondragon). I love this team - they're such a weird, kooky team of misfists and emotionally damaged individuals.
Threnody. I'm tired of talking about her as the first brick in the wall for Hank's downfall - let's talk about her as a character, let's engage with the situation, let's call Hank out, let's let him off the hook, let's do something with it!
X-Force:
Any and all members of the Quiet Council, perhaps a thread making sense of Beast's numerous karma houdinis. My portrayal of X-Force Beast diverges from the cartoon character you've seen in Percy's books, but I still want to engage with the situations he must've found himself in and write them like an adult. Let's get political, let's get complicated, let's get cruel, why not?
Any and all interactions where an old friend asks Beast what the hell he's doing and what happened to him. I just want someone to care that Beast has hollowed out his soul and decided it's easier to not care.
Irredeemable Beast:
Pretty much anything, but the tone of this verse suits Fall of X-themed plots and character development over all else. I have an in-progress fic about this verse that I'm working on - I can't tell you how overjoyed I'd be to talk about it with someone. Let's talk redemption, let's talk punishment, let's talk justice, let's talk masochism, let's talk death wishes!
Dark Beast:
Any Age of Apocalypse characters.
A duplicate Hank, tbh!
The guy's a stinker, abuse him, please.
Battle of the Atom:
Any of the time displaced X-Men, future X-Men, or members of the Jean Grey and Charles Xavier School faculty. This version of Hank is so broken and so tragic and so pitiable. Let's engage with that. Let's talk about the future, let's talk about optimism, let's talk about broken faith and mind control and hatred.
President Blaire. If you know, you know.
And obviously, all of the X-characters mentioned above, or hell, any member of the extended X-family, would be much loved as an intersection with all of these plots!
And keep in mind, if you aren't one of these characters, that doesn't mean any of this plot material is off limits to you! Message me, ask me, let's work something out. I crave good character dynamics, hmu. I want to write with you, or I wouldn't be here.

after watching ari’s mv, someone give me a plot based off of eternal sunshine and the spotless mind !! a plot where a long-time couple decides to break up, and muse a decides to get rid of all the memories of their ex, muse b. and then when muse b finds out that muse a has forgotten everything about them— they get their memory wiped of muse a too. and some time down the road they find each other again?? and fall back in love?? give me all the angst and feels !

NOT ALL THOSE WHO WANDER ARE LOST. Sylverian gets kicked out sent away from home, because his parents want him to learn more about the world, and leave his bubble of privilege and luxury. Works for absolutely EVERY verse. He could get sent to the human dimension, any planet, whatever serves our plot.
Your muse saves mine from an imminent threat (Syl is pretty useless when it comes to combat, he has 0 street smarts and will definitely stumble into some kind of trouble)

a fun plot thread idea in my head is Anderson recovering some 'exotic' pets (and by exotic I mean supernatural) and having to take care of them until the White Book can send someone to retrieve them.
This could either be very cute (lil jackalope leverets, manticore kittens) or rather health hazardous (immature hydras, freshly hatched dragons). Or both. Both is an option.

Updated/shortened plot wishlist:
★ Rivals/enemies to lovers. Heavy flirting while you’re trying to severely hurt/kill each other and getting intensely angry when someone else hurts your rival.
★ Extreme master/weapon dynamics. Ebony supporting your muse in their morally grey endeavors. She will bow to them if asked.
★ Your muse catching Ebony mid-kill, either with previous interactions or without. Can be a demon kill or a human kill.
★ Alternatively: Our muses killing someone together.
★ Also alternatively: Ebony killing someone to protect your muse.
★ Pre-amnesia interactions set during Ebony’s pirate & wild west eras.
★ Interactions with a human muse in a medical field, them doing tests on her and realizing something is very wrong.
★ Contracts, contracts, contracts!! Ebony is always looking for someone to sustain her youth.
★ Anything set in my verse where Ebony becomes Limbo’s new ruler.
★ Ebony being protective or expressing jealously over your muse in a romantic/platonic sense.
★ Cliche, but... demon/priest dynamics.
★ Your muse using the one (1) existing ritual that can summon Ebony either accidentally or on purpose.

ooohhh i'm having thoughts while i finish my tgm rewatch. during the bird strike, mav starts to warn phoenix that her engine is still on fire so she doesn't restart it, which she ends up doing and then ejects. it'd be fun to play around with that after - her actions questioned, etc.

what about an AU for Gav where he’s an orphan from the northern territories and is brought to Rosaria (which he has complicated feelings about) and becomes a Shield. And he’s definitely Not the ~typical Shield~, he’s snarky and speaks his mind on the state of Rosaria more than other Shields believe he should. He’s more outwardly empathetic to the plights of his Lord (whoever that happens to be in the given plot) while also being fiercely protective and a little mouthy in doing so - perhaps to his detriment. He still has his scouting skills in this plot which is something most other Shields can’t claim to be proficient in, and it makes him really valuable in certain missions that carry a lot of risk to them. When he does his job well (he always tries his best) he’s not very good at taking a compliment - says it’s what any good Shield would do/he could have done better/etc. but like no, Gav, you’re just a really good and talented person take the compliment dang it !! 😤💜
and I could absolutely see shipping potential if my writing partner was on board for it. Gav is a hopeless romantic and craves the affection and stability that was stolen from him when he was growing up.

OOC: I know in Bravely Second that Kamiizumi straight-up attacks Edea if she sides against his opinion in the Kamiizumi vs. Mephilia sidequest, and...eugh. Looking back on it, I can tell they made Kamiizumi a bit too out of character for that part of the game, purely so we can have a boss battle opportunity.
I mean, if Kamiizumi had found out from Edea that Gho Ghettar was being hazed b/c it’s something the company does to all newbies, I’m pretty sure he would’ve went to beat the crap out of Gho’s employer instead (or at least force said employer to apologize and give Gho proper work to do that Gho was supposed to be hired to do).
...actually, that could lend well into what’s already established in the sidequest lore. After all, before Kamiizumi fights Edea in said sidequest after she sides with Mephilia’s opinion, it’s important to note that Kamiizumi has little idea of Gho being forced to do menial labour that isn’t even in his job description (since he only eavesdropped on the party when Edea was making the decision between whether Gho should stick with his employer or leave and work with Mephilia).
After the battle when Edea beats him, Edea can explain the situation, and then Kamiizumi could be like “wait, they’re doing WHAT and to one of my own pupils!?”
Cue cutscene where Kamiizumi gets mad and personally calls out said employer to be more responsible in guiding their new hire to doing proper work that he was supposed to be doing, instead of the crappy labour that he was being forced to do that wasn’t even in said job description. And even if Gho decides to still quit after and stick with Mephilia, at least they have that issue resolved without Kamiizumi being so out of character.
If the player still decides that Edea decides that Gho should stay with his employer despite what’s going on, we could cut to a cutscene after battling Mephilia where Edea personally calls out the employer on being a terrible employer to Gho and forcing him to do work he wasn’t hired to do, and Kamiizumi just is quietly proud that Edea is sticking up for her fellow pupil of sorts.

[[ I really do need more threads where Neff just breaks down and talks about all her deep rooted issues. She holds it together because people need it but honestly she has so much she’s anxious about. She doesn’t really know who she is, she just knows the person she wants be and kinda ‘emulates’ that but she’s got a big case of imposter syndrome. She’s got anger issues that you need to really press her to see but once you do she POPS OFF. She’s constantly uncertain of everything and she hates it. I want her to really just lay it all out there because that’s who she really is. She’s still someone who wants to genuinely be good, that much is true, but she’s also just this scared person who carries too much by herself ]]

plot wishlist.
1. master & servant in a holy grail war. i want a very involved plot involving someone, whoever, summoning scathach and their resulting adventures in a holy grail war.
2. scathach observes a grail war & interacts with participants. it has always been my headcanon that scathach monitors holy grail wars that involve cu chulainn because that’s her number one student. maybe one time she gets seen, or lets herself be seen, etc etc, and tags along, either with cu or one of his opponents.
3. romance. gimme a ship or a dozen. romance is my favorite genre to write, i’m not ashamed to say it, so please do not be shy.
4. stranger stumbles upon dun scaith. exactly how it sounds. someone finds their way to dun scaith who shouldn’t be there and encounters scathach in her natural habitat.
5. scathach alter. she’s a big baddie and opens the gate to the otherworld to let all the demons and monsters out to ravage humanity. she needs allies or enemies.
6. stranger in your land. scathach lived for 3000 years and therefore likely lived through your servant’s time period. maybe she gets bored and leaves Dun Scaith to travel and comes across your Servant in their natural habitat. i love a good fish out of water story.
7. meeting her match. either in a grail war or in chaldea or just out in the wild, scathach runs into someone who *gasp* might be able to kill her. they don’t, obviously, because if they did that’s the end of the plot, but... just imagine. either they’re kind about it if they’re a good guy, or they taunt her about it if they’re a bad guy, but i want it. this bitch needs her ego checked.
