Finished Dating in The Kitchen, making it my 6th Zhao Lusi drama in the 4 months since first getting to know her in WRTW.
While the age gap is not my thing and I was frustrated with the writing towards the end, it was still very enjoyable and the two leads did a great job. Also... FOOD
Anyway, with every ZLS drama that I watch, my love and adoration for her continues to grow. She's just so engaging and lovable, and you can't help but root for her characters no matter what. She's become my favorite actress since LLTG, but I come to appreciate and admire her more with every character. She is truly everything to me and I'd die for her. Also... She's so pretty I might cry.
Now, for my ranking of ZLS dramas (not characters, because BFX and CSS stand on equal worshipped ground) I've watched, based on my enjoyment (4 and 5 might be interchangeable):

Love Like The Galaxy
The Romance of Tiger and Rose

I think HaoYan move above Chen Qianqian x Han Shuo in my cp ranking, and Leyan is very close to BFX and CSS level of my fave of Lusi's characters.
(currently on ep 1 of Please Feel at Ease, Mr. Ling. Lets see how that goes, but at this point my love for Lusi has reached infinite proportions)
(edit: I finished Please feel at ease and it was a wild ride. I think I like it the same as I hear you, but I like this cp better than that one. I do Love Gu Anxin, though. About the same as I love San Qi)

☾ my views on please feel at ease, Mr ling.
I have just started this drama two three days ago, and i’m already so invested. I’m on episode three now, and i really love xiaoba/ Mr ling (the CEO), after their little accident together, he decides to stay at _____’s house
I love how they both take care of each other, how she knows it when he recoils at the sight of water, so she quickly brings headphones and places it on his head, distracting him. Oh, how I love her so much for doing this 🥹♥️🤌🏻
Then, when she tells him that her co-workers are coming over, she tells him to leave, instead he has a whole romantic dinner prepared, either to show off 😂 how rich he is, and her co-workers should not bully her, but anyway, I love that shit.
He defends her, and doesn’t let her coworkers talk her down.
How she scolda him for even doing so much in such little time and having no money.
Only if she knew! 😂🙈🥹
I love how the story is progressing, will update more as I keep watching.
Quitting this drama, because it turns out that she’s the adopted child of a rich businessman, and she owns 50% shares in ling’s company.
I just wanted to watch one drama similar to business proposal, but this is what I get. Ugh…

In the first episode of "Please Feel At Ease Mr Ling" (一不小心捡到爱, 2021), we can see some mangas and fashion magazines inside Gu An Xin (Zhao Lu Si)'s house.
The mangas are volumes 8, 10 and 20 of Black Butler (黒執事) by Yana Toboso.
I wasn't able to ID the magazines.
I'm quite certain this is a copy of Elle China (the logo checks out) but after looking through the covers from Oct 2016 to May 2021 (when the first episode aired) I wasn't able to find the right issue. Same with the other magazine, presumably a Grazia China issue, I've looked at all the covers posted on the official Instagram account between August 2020 and August 2019 but nothing. How old are these issues???
A clue in case anyone wants to dig into their Chinese magazine collection and find out: according to chinesedrama.info, "Filming began on May 23, 2020 and wrapped in August 2020" + the red writing on the Elle magazine says "the Spirit" in the Latin alphabet.

I’m a couple episodes short of finishing “please feel at ease, mr. ling” and honestly the drama itself is not bad. It’s straightforward, slightly basic, but also filled with a lot of sweet scenes that circle the main leads. I don’t feel as magnetic of a pull from zhao lusi with liu te, but they also don’t look bad together. this definitely isn’t a xu kaicheng situation whatsoever. It’s a “shorter” drama and it’s a good watch but nothing I’d obsess over for a prolonged period of time. I also can’t tell if zhao lusi uses her real voice throughout the show like obviously it’s dubbed, but I can catch glimpses of her own accent slipping through. It still BOTHERS me and it takes a lot away from her character, but you win some you lose some. I think the characters in this show are all pretty people and for a 24 episode little thang it’s not bad. It could’ve been worst but it wasn’t.
