@RobotsPlayingGames 🤖💜🕹️ Here is a side-by-side comparison of Shantae (Game Boy Color) output to a TV. Left side is the Game Boy Player / GameCube combo with Game Boy Interface (Original Hardware). Right side is a modded PlayStation Classic. (Emulation) You can check my latest video posts to watch each of them individually. Some notes: - I've discarded all audio on the GameCube side and kept only the PlayStation Classic audio (better quality). - I wanted to use both videos as I've posted before so I did not re-edited them. As a result both sides are not in synch, although I show the same basic gameplay on each side. Playing on the TV, the difference is very noticeable. Watching the recorded outputs on my laptop or TV also shows a lot better how the results are so different. I can say, audio and image quality on the PlayStation Classic is better and it offers even more options of color palettes and other settings. The whole setup is also much cleaner. It's just the mini console, HDMI cable, power cable and the classic PS1 controller is awesome to play GB, GBC and GBA (maybe better than the GC gamepad). But... Playing on the original hardware feels more like the name implies.. more original. It is very subjective but I can't ignore it. The result is also far from bad. It is pretty great actually. The setup, cables, hardware is.. let's say.. more complex. 😝 So what do you think about it?
