i've wanted to draw plato's rave as dante's hell ever since i listened to mbmbam 674 for the first time. this was insane and took way too much time but really isn't that what plato's rave is all about.

Hi internet, I'm sorry but I need to get this out. I'm listening to episode 674 of My Brother My Brother And Me, they're talking about a rave where there's 10 numbered rooms, each with its own level of rave intensity. They said you basically go from 1 to 10 over time as you rave harder, and room 10 is a dark room with a single man on a throne dressed in crazy colors with a candy crown, and when you get there he disintegrates and you become the new rave king. I'm posting about this because the funny brothers just wrote the next episode of Regular Show.

The latest MBMBAM episode was just like: "Listen in as the brothers slowly turn in to avatars of the spiral and it will be glorious."

Episodes of TAZ and MBMBAM were both top tier this week. Phenomenal.

Here's what I love, the idea that sparks joy for me, is the possibility that while my friends are enjoying the wildest rave and/or escape room of their lives I can just be hanging out in a home goods store for 12-ish hours.

It is astonishing to me sitting here listening to the McElroys plan out a rave themed tabletop experience and constantly mentioning that none of the 4 of them have ever been to a rave and I'm just sitting here like. I've been to a rave. How have these boys never been to a rave. My rave was Katamari themed. How did they avoid this? There are nerd raves what are you doing?
