Another of my 'Dragonflies' Series, this one with a delphinium flower. This was painted in watercolors with prismacolor pencil details.
I went with a soft blue delphinium bloom, contrasted with the bright green on the stems and leaves. The delphinium dragon works more like a cross between a hummingbird and a bee, collecting bits of pollen on parts of its scales which it then brings to other flowers as it collects nectar from them which it feeds on.

*clears throat* So I have this disease called dragonitis where I see a character I like and then I turn them into a dragon (???) without control.
So while this wasn't the original idea and I originally just wanted to draw Chai, here's forest/plant dragon Chai for @whosectype

Plant Dragon! I Originally wanted to make a more in-detail one but I liked this version better ^^ I used to always draw dragons when I was little, ofc I never stopped! My heart almost did though, when I saw the 20+ notifs that my art had been liked and reblogged /j thank you all so much for the support! It really means a lot to me, to know people like my drawings :)
also! I have a lot of things in motion!! And the new project will be coming soon! If you wanna check that out, feel free to stick around for a bit, so you see the post :D
have a fantastic day/evening!!
