Putting it simply, I am obsessed with the inherent, endearing patheticness of Stede Bonnet. I love that disaster follows him, I love that he runs head-first into bullshit yet has the balls to act shocked when he ends up in ridiculous scenarios. I am utterly entranced by how in spite of the loveless life he endured for decades, he remains enthralled by trinkets and stories and the simple act of having hope. That he has the ridiculous confidence to walk into Spanish Jackie's wearing a flamboyant, crisp white outfit (introduced via an equally flamboyant, near painful rhyme) yet lacks the confidence to believe that he could ever be loved, love others, or simply inspire happiness. I love the fact that while running away to be a pirate was his bid at a new beginning- his obscure dream- he wanted it to be a safe space for his crew, too. How ridiculous to apply those bizarre, novel concepts of pirating to a crew who just wanted to pillage and slay- to combine their wishes with his stubborn belief that pirating doesn't have to be an abusive, loveless space. I find such amazement in his ridiculous tale of misguided actions and misplaced hope. The simple joy in the exhaustive journey of living authentically.

There's something absolutely critical about this scene. It's so clear that this renewed identity as the Kraken is a protective mask for him to wear as a means of deflection and safety; of insurance that he won't be hurt like this again. Never again will someone have the ability to come near his heart- to see him as Edward Teach.
In the barracks, he was so excited for a life without blood, guts, and murder. He was looking forward to just being Ed. Ed and Stede- a new life forged together. This is one of the last shots that we see of Blackbeard, and it reminds us that his heart is still in there. He hasn't lost it, no matter how he tries to throw it away. It's been hurt, stabbed, fractured, and he's trying desperately to keep it wrapped in bandage.

Part 1: Home
Summary: Trevor making his way back to the castle after defeating Death.
This is what it was, a shockwave, and then the sun pouring from the cracking skull.
I’ve done it. And so I give the world to Alucard and Sypha.
And he was hurling through the multicolored cavern as if worlds whirled and orbited around him. This was his ascendancy, he figured, this was the multi-windowed passage toward the end, those countless levels of Hell his aunt told him about. He’ll see them all again, his father, mother, siblings if God wasn’t fucking around. What a story he'll bring to them.
But then his jaw was slammed rudely into the dirt. He lifted his head to breathe and cough out the grass blades and pebbles. A few seconds later, he squinted. Perhaps he was hurled into a circle Hell after all, perhaps taking down the Evil wasn’t enough to God. If he had the energy, he would have chuckled at the idea that God decided not to throw him in Hell.
When the haze faded and the numbness faded, he suddenly fathomed the sound of water.
God must have flung me into the wrong Corridor. There was a sun, one that was clearly rising. It looked too nice, too serene.
Only then when he dragged himself to the water to dunk his red-welted arm and drink like a hungry beast and splash it onto his cuts and bruises did he suppose he was brought back to Earth. The spires were nowhere to be seen. This was not familiar territory. He looked for Sypha, for Alucard, but then remembering their two small shapes, the dark of Alucard’s cloak and blue of Sypha’s robes, outrunning the collapse of the bridge.
His family trained him to heal the overexerted body after the battle. Rest was important, reusing muscles in the intervals of rest was key. He turned himself over and laid on his back and let himself watch the clouds on the oranged dawn sky. How long did he hurl through the Corridor? It felt like a second and eons. It was night when he slayed Death--slayed Death, what a story for Belmont generations, he hoped to have landed in the corridor with then.
And so he was alone again.
He drifted off and awoke to blinding sunlight. He was still there. This was not a dream. After letting a few clouds pass his eyes, there was nothing to do but lug himself up and stagger forward. He looked at the direction of the river. He did not know this river but there’ll always be towns near rivers. So he followed it upstream.
When night fell, he was sleeping under trees again to settle his bones. In the mornings, he skimmed the grounds for trail mixes and non-toxic mushrooms and bushes for edible berries, thanks to old Speaker lessons, a blending of Belmont teachings derived from their recorded conversations with Speakers (Belmonts could document, Speakers could not), and a bit of the additional knowledge Sypha gave him.
What was that village again? Alucard was with a village headwoman. Perhaps it should have helped to ask before they had to run off to deal with the matter of the madman and the Rebis.
The river trails did lead him to empty villages, with burial grounds and hollowed huts and cabins. It took some deduction and a map he salvaged along with a black cloak to shield him from the hot sun. He did not stay on the path but kept it in sight as he walked through the secluded trees. If there were highwaymen or that damn “pirate of the road,” he didn’t have the energy to really deal with them. The thrill would be nice though.
From the map, he surmised that Danesti was that nearest village to the castle. He vaguely recalled it being nearly a stop when he set off on the road with Sypha.
--
When he made it to Danesti, there were lumps of burial grounds and a ravaged fortress. But at least there were a few souls, loading wagons, perhaps moving to leave behind the memory of carnage and some that lingered near the burial grounds on their knees, paying their respects.
Trevor found another useful thing. Or it found him. A sturdy black horse with a white diamond on the forehead that nuzzled him when he entered the scratched open gates. It had a steady saddle and pouches.
No soul around seemed to be interested in it. The horse probably lost its owner. Better not waste a ride. He summoned his strength and threw himself on, the aches rippled through this body, from head to toe, but it was worth it to not move his achy legs even if the road bumps popped waves of back spams.
He so looked forward to a bed, that bed in Dracula’s castle that he stayed in before he went off to adventure with Sypha. He and Sypha slept in different rooms then.
Sypha. He hadn’t talked about it with her. He had seen Belmont women spout curses at their husbands before they would ask God for forgiveness. It was probably a lucky guess the moment Sypha starting screaming curses, but he also noticed she refused her monthly rags and the smell of cooking meat irritated her--“Get that fucking frying pig away from me, Trevor.” It suddenly occurred to his brain that they weren’t as careful on that Lindenfeld bed. Damn it. He always took precautions with any one-night stand he was with. He had no interested in progeny, especially not ones hidden from his knowledge, for this was not a world for new Belmonts. For him and Sypha, an extra mouth to feed was just not in the cards.
But now, it seemed that the possibility was closer. Death was defeated.
He had to know if they would live through it all. Sypha probably knew it already of course, before he did. She would figure that out before it did. It was best if Sypha simply confirmed with him before they could have that conversation, if they could rejoin her caravan (Speakers had childbirth knowledge and ways to expel pregnancies) or lay low at the castle (Alucard ought to have knowledge as well).
Sypha should have been the one to tell him. But he understood if Sypha wanted to murder him for not bringing up.
He had to know they if would finish Targoviste, although god knows fuck what happened now that they had to abandon it. Every time they moved from troubled town to troubled village to follow the next reported human sacrifice, Sypha would mutter, "We cleared out the night creatures and vampires for them, but we have to trust the people now to save themselves the best they can."
If they had time in that castle... But of course, facing the slews of night creatures and then Death, it was his last and only chance to acknowledge his suspicion to her, regretting the conversation they’ll never have. She knew how to take care of herself and other people, so he had to bring peace to her mind to let her know that he knew--suspected--of something growing and existing within her and that he had faith that it would grow into something wonderful.
Now unless God was fucking with him and threw him into limbo, he’ll ought to find her. The Castle was the natural first stop, at least to talk to Alucard. But it had been, what, a few weeks? He surmised that it was enough time that she would be venturing to her caravan.
--
“Trevor, if you die, I’ll return to my caravan where I would mourn for you, my rude idiot. And I’ll give them every story, our victories and your idiocy.”
"Haha. Also, I'm not going to die."
“If I die, join my caravan. Gain knowledge, exchange it. You don’t have to have the Speaker robes or the mantle. But you won’t be lonely and you’ll be around my family.”
That was the backup plan. She discussed this under the blanket, her cool bare skin against his torso.
“And what if I rather be alone than with Speakers?“
Her answer surprised him. “Go home, to the Belmont Hold. And you can be lonely there then.”
“Are you forgetting who occupies the Hold?“
“Exactly. You two can be alone together.”
--
She was being generous to make a plan for him. But truth to be told, he would have been happier to wander alone again. At least that's what he told himself. He realized, if Sypha was gone, if her bare flesh wasn't against his right now, if God decided to snatch her from him, he thought about what he would do. She wasn’t wrong. He realized he would have been drawn home to curl up in that tree, and this possibility would also come with seeing Alucard again to break the news.
The spires. The castle.
He could see the spires of the castle now. Alucard that asshole better have that soft bed ready. And with luck, Sypha would be still there or he’ll have to rest to find her.
She probably left.
As he rode closer to the castle, Trevor could hear people, wagons, horses clopping, and the sawing of wood and clinking of hammers. How long has it been again? Perhaps the refugees were still here, practicing caution in case the demons came back for their village.
Feet scurried close. He was quite ready to fall now. Quite ready to let the Earth be his mattress. The horse came to a halt. He could let the generosity of humans do the rest from here.
The aches yanked him down, two gentle hands graced his back, softening the blow. He squinted as the hood fell and the sunlight poured. He recognized the feel of those small hands as one feels when putting on old clothes.
It was just his luck. There were her big blue eyes, and he was more lost in those seas than he ever was in what his aunt called the “countless levels into Hell.”
“Hello Love.”
--
Next up: Sypha’s angst during those two weeks.

DAY6 and halloween costumes [halloween series 3/3]
i know i said that there would be five parts of this series but i might’ve overestimated my free time during... well, my ‘’free time’’. so let’s finish this up at three and forget about what i said, okay?;; sorry about that
Tumblr media
Day6 as couple costumes for a halloween party
Sungjin
• you'd go with the dumbest costumes you could find
• like a socket and a plug or something
• which would make it kind of hard to dance but honestly?
• who cares
• i feel like sungjin would try to keep track of how much both of you would drink to prevent embarassing yourself and hangover the next day
• maybe he wouldn't drink at all to drive you home and make sure you'd be safe
• but that wouldn't stop neither of you from enjoying the party
Jae
• among us.
• does anyone even want to discuss on that
• it would be even better if his s/o played it too
• bc you'd definitely play among us in among us costumes before the party
• and if you're public, then most probably do it on a live stream
• omg that would be such a mess
• but also really really entertaining
• let's get back to the party oops
• i feel like jae and his s/o would be so much fun to be around
• constantly joking around
• getting a bit tipsy but nothing extreme
• also some dancing jumping around to the music
• but mostly chatting with each other and the other guests
• so you'd come home (by uber, don't drive after drinking!!) pretty tired, having enough strenght to wash up and maybe a snack before laying in bed and mindlessly talking until you fall asleep
Young K
• i think younghyun would want to look scary, but still cool
• like vampires, pirates, or tokio and rio from la casa de papel
• whatever you'd choose, you'd slay
• lots and lots of dancing and eating
• basically having the time of your lives
• he'd probably want to stay with his s/o the whole night, only greeting your friends and maybe some small talk
• you'd eventually fall asleep at the host's and come back home in the morning with a hangover, but happy nevertheless
Wonpil
• someting really cute
• like a couple of cats maybe?
• one of you being a black cat and the other being a white one
• and it'd be up to you which one you want to be
• like yk, where you're dressed up in normal clothes in that color, but wear cat ears, gloves that look like cat paws, a tail, and a collar kskdnsks help me
• i think wonpil would be shy at first, just standing at the bar and talking with you
• but when he'd get some alcohol in his system, he'd open up a bit and let you drag him onto the dance floor
• sooo giggly, like he would have a smile on his face the whole party
• he'd be the cutest cat you've ever seen
• and he'd probably think the same because he'd whine so much when the time to change would come
Dowoon
• somewhere between sungjin and wonpil
• he'd go for something silly but also really cute
• maybe like an astronaut and an alien?
• he would wear like a full on spacesuit and you'd have glittery clothes and a headband with antennae
• but you'd have to figure out how he would pee with that costume first
• on the party, you'd most probably stay on the side, chatting with people and sipping on your drinks
• so you'd go out pretty sober
• unless someone spiced these up
• then someone would have to carry you out because you'd pass out in no time

So I haven’t been reading as many book as usual in lockdown (thank god for fic) but I have been looking at lots of lists and buying lots of books so here the ones I think are good reading if you have lockdown brain like me. You’ll find here many novellas, a bit of romance and another bit of horror.
Novellas (another godsend):
THE MURDERBOT SERIES by Martha Wells – they are all novellas except the last one but by then you will be hooked. A robot that doesn’t want to be human and doesn’t like humans (… or does he?) tasked by evil corporation to take care of humans in space missions. It’s as great as it sounds.
BLOODCHILD by Octavia E Butler – if you haven’t read Butler, this is a good place to start. It shows you the depth of her stories (in short format!) and the subversion in her works. If you like it, I’d recommend KINDRED next as it is a standalone novel.
THE EMPRESS OF SALT AND FORTUNE by Nghi Vo – this I bought because it was one of the several works sold as “if you liked the Untamed…” and that sales pitch hasn’t steered me wrong yet! Very immersive, about how when you are at your lowest, you can still climb to the top.
PYRE AT THE EYREHOLME TRUST by Lin Darrow  – Main character is genderfluid and that is not why is persecuted, it doesn’t raise an eyebrow to those who know Eli. The fact that he has not registered his magical abilities AND that he associates with gangsters does. A heist! Several shootings! And romance!
SISTERS OF THE VAST BLACK by Lina Rather – Nuns in a living spaceship (it’s a giant slug, people). I’m always curious about stories with nuns as mc because I went to a nun school and this was the mix of people wanting to do good with sharp tongues and complex motivations that I like.
THE SORCERER OF THE WILDEEPS by Kai Ashante Wilson – Beautiful writing that does more for worldbuilding that some whole books I’ve read. A pirate captain and his sorcerer go on a journey with their crew.
THE PERILIOUS LIFE OF JADE YEO by Zen Cho – I loved Jade Yeo so much and the choices the author made for her. A lady that does what she wants without apology. Diary format, super hooking.
MY SISTER, THE SERIAL KILLER by Oyinkan Braithwaite – I’m cheating because this is from last year but I completely loved this book and if you haven’t heard of it, I wanted to bring it to your attention. The serial killer and the sister who loves her! Gave me the same yes! feeling as GONE GIRL.
ROMANCE:
A GIRL LIKE HER by Talia Hibbert – I loved Hibbert’s WORK FOR IT so I had to try her het romance (which I don’t read much but I really loved WORK FOR IT). The heroine is autistic and has had a rough time of it in her small town but is unapologetic about her sexual choices which I loved and the love interest is a 100% cinnamon roll.
KJ Charles – Charles has something for everyone and I really recommend her if you are in a reading slump and you want something you will love AND finish.
HORROR (ask me for trigger warnings if you need them, I’m happy to provide them):
WHITE IS FOR WITCHING by Helen Oyeyemi – on the literary side but so so readable! I absolutely loved it. It’s about a family and the house that loves them (… or does it?). Also I didn’t know it was wlw and it is!! Books always get bonus points from me for this.
THE SOUTHERN BOOK CLUB’S GUIDE TO SLAYING VAMPIRES by Grady Hendrix – Hendrix is one of my favourite horror authors so I automatically get all of his books. This is one is about vampires but also about how tenuous women’s positions are when their husbands are their family’s breadwinner, and related to that, gaslighting! Women banding together because there is a predator in the loose and the men are doing nothing about it! Adults trying to do their best even though they don’t want to adult!
THE BUS ON THURSDAY by Shirley Barrett – another cheat but I haven’t seen it anywhere and I found it so extremely funny. One of the few books I have read out loud. The main character takes a job teaching children in a remote village where the previous teacher left in a hurry.

Fic Rec!
Ive read and bookmarked a bunch of fics that i particularily liked, so im sharing them now! i hope you enjoy !
* = personal favourite
Open At The Touch (6,5k)
Maybe Nishigori got ahold of a lock of Viktor's hair, and some Polyjuice potion. Maybe it's all an elaborate prank. With this as his only reasonable explanation, he steps forward, snags Viktor by his robes and tugs him in. "Nishigori," he says in Japanese, "this prank isn't funny. Your English is better than when I left, though." "Ah," says the fake Viktor Nikiforov in English, voice dipping, and is he blushing? "What was that?" "Maybe I got hit in the head by a Bludger," Yuuri muses. Viktor's smile grows ever wider, tightening at the edges. "Maybe I never came home from my international Quidditch competition. Maybe I'm lying in the hospital right now, hallucinating." There has to be an explanation, mystical and magical or medical, for the best Seeker in the Quidditch world showing up at his door; something besides his portrait, which won't stop talking to Yuuri anyway.
Coming to Terms  (10k)
Victor's realization wasn’t a pinpoint. It was a culmination of years of knowing something was different. An ache without a name.
A story about Victor learning, accepting, and loving himself as a gay man.
The Tsesarevich lives! (50k)
An Anastasia AU.
Victor is an orphan with no name, no family, and no memory of a time before he was ten years old. Could he really be the missing Nikiforov heir? An adventure across Europe with two conmen will lead him to the answer.
Say I'm The One (2k)*
Viktor leans forward, the curve of his smile soft. Achingly, Yuuri’s fingers imagine what it’d be like to trace it. “You think I want to romance celebrities?” “Well, you’re a celebrity,” Yuuri feebly tries to explain. “Exactly. Now you’re just being ridiculous,” Viktor counters, smirk growing. “The one romancing a celebrity is you." Viktor and Yuuri get caught in a rainstorm on the way home from practice.
To Boldly Go (30k)*
“Yuuri!” Viktor calls. “I’ve come to rescue you!” Yuuri stares at him blankly. He gestures to the various unconscious space pirates with his recently discharged phaser. “Oh, Captain,” he deadpans. “Save me.”
Or:
A year in the life of badass science officer Yuuri Katsuki, Captain Viktor “Team Mom” Nikiforov, and simultaneously the best crew and worst crew in Starfleet history.
(No prior Star Trek knowledge needed! It’s a loose AU!)
Bestseller (20k)
Reincarnation AU. Bestselling author Yuuri Katsuki often gets asked where his source of inspiration for his novel series comes from. Yuuri always puts on his best smile and gives the generic answer. However, his minds wanders back to the old journal sitting on his desk, and the dreams of a familiar blue eyed stranger.
Have You Heard? (4k)*
According to rumors, Viktor Nikiforov had been seen crying in the E building’s staircase. No one really seemed to know what was the reason, but everyone were terribly curious about it.
Spotlight (2k)
He can't help how embarrassed he sounds as he tries to hide himself in the pillow, and Viktor's laugh is so lovely - and so helpless, so blatantly in love - that it has Yuuri squirming all over again, the wave of protectiveness stealing his breath away.
Oh, Viktor.
"I suppose that's fair, darling. I am pretty incorrigible."
He's smiling, as he says it, and his voice is light, but Yuuri knows better, now. He can hear that tiny, barely there, desperately hidden thread of self-doubt, as clearly as if Viktor were shouting it.
Am I too much?
Viktor doesn't need to say it for Yuuri to hear it. He's pretty sure Viktor's spent too long feeling like he's too much of something - too loud, too clingy, too needy - for him to just shrug it off.
Yuuri knows a little bit about self-esteem. He knows a little bit about trying to kick years of fucked up thinking. And he's damn well going to keep making sure that Viktor knows he can always be as too much as he wants to be.
You can have everything... (12,5k)
AU. Before the Grand Prix Final starts in Sochi, Yuuri finds Victor's phone. He returns it--and hijinks and heavy flirtation ensue.
Fields of Gold (14,5k)
It’s difficult to believe that he’s inspired people like this; that children and teenagers in Japan and around the world lace up their skates or put on skates for the first time and think of Yuuri Katsuki, just like they think of or thought of Victor Nikiforov. He almost can’t take it. It’s too unbelievable. He’s just… Yuuri, after all.
Yuuri Katsuki with a stack of gold medals is still just Yuuri Katsuki.
He can imagine Victor repeating the same words back to him with his own name and how he’d argue that is absolutely not the case, and he laughs inwardly a bit at that.
(The story in which Yuuri Katsuki wins everything there is to win and retires as Japan's living legend, because he's incredible and beautiful and he deserves it. Aka 'Yuuri wins all the gold', the fic.)
Puppy Love (10k)
When Yuuri gets turned into a dog, the last place he expects to end up is Victor Nikiforov's apartment. He learns quickly that the only thing worse than being his idol's pet, is watching him pine for someone else.
Warning: Makkachin has recently passed away at the start of this story.
Twenty-Five Hours (23k)
In which Yuuri spends a 25 hour flight next to Victor Nikiforov, skating legend, and feels it might simultaneously be the best and worst thing that has ever happened to him.
silver scales and golden wishing wells (13k)*
the knights fought valiantly, they have slayed the dragon
Yuuri cried from days on end... he loved that dragon
to the winner goes the gold (900)
In which Yuuri and Viktor are competing against each other in the following year's Grand Prix Final, and they're still (very much) smitten with each other.
“Skater Katsuki, anything you want to say to your fellow skaters before the competition?”
“Viktor Nikiforov,” Katsuki says, “just know that once I win gold, you’ll be doing the dishes for an entire month.”
Then he smiles again, sweet and warm, before giving a little wave and heading off through the hall.
cover story (8k)
Yuuri stares down at the person standing in the doorway. The stranger hisses, "Who do you think you are, anyways?"
Quickly, before he can really think about it, Yuuri responds, "I'm Victor's boyfriend."
It's a lie, but the words feel good in his mouth, and for some reason, he doesn't want to take them back.
Katsudon (7,5k)
Hiroko doesn’t need to see to coat pork cutlets in egg and panko. She has made this dish for her family for over thirty years; she’ll make it another thirty, if she’s lucky.
Now she makes it for Yuuri and Victor as they fly home from Barcelona, with silver around their necks and gold around their fingers.
Victor Effing Nikiforov (13k)*
AU in which Yuuri still doesn’t remember the banquet, somehow doesn’t blow Japanese Nationals, runs into Victor at the World Championships, and has absolutely no idea why his idol is suddenly friendly and incredibly handsy.
Does Yuuri care about his reasons? No. It’s Victor Effing Nikiforov.
Masks off (27k)*
And so the story goes that a playboy comes to a town, makes it fall in love with him and then proceeds to get himself enticed by the most mysterious person there.
Wait... did it really go like that?
Five Kisses (4k)
It hadn’t seemed out of the ordinary at the time. Victor had always been free with his affection; throwing out compliments, light caresses, even the occasional peck to the cheek. After a little over a week of having him as his coach, Yuuri was sure he had gotten used to it. It was just a Westerner thing, no use getting riled up if Victor wasn’t going to be stopping it anytime soon.
Then it happened.
~~~
Victor likes kissing Yuuri and Yuuri is frustratingly dense
lie to make me like you (80k)*
It’s become a game, of sorts, to anyone privy to the fact that the pattern exists in the first place: ask Victor out at the beginning of the month, date for however many days, and wait for the end to come and for Victor to say, always: I couldn’t fall in love with you. Let’s break up.
With All My Heart (52k)
Once upon a time there was a prince and if you stole his heart, you would live forever. But the prince would only have three days left.
Or: the tale of a Heartless King and a scullion.
When Life Gives You Lemons, Add Sugar (11k)
What could possibly be worse than getting stuck with a roommate you weren't expecting?
Discovering that roommate is none other than Viktor f*cking Nikiforov.
i'm just going to the store (7k)*
Accidental masked vigilante Victor Nikiforov.
Or: how Victor's impulsiveness backfires and creates one of the greatest living internet memes to ever come out of Russia.
November's Secret (233k)*
Overwhelmed with anxiety and his fear of failing, Yuuri faces the issue of if he should continue skating. His best friend, Yuko, proposes a solution - if no one knows it's you, then it's less embarrassing, right? Yuuri begins to create a completely new disguise and persona.
But it works a little too well.
Before he knows it, Yuuri has become the biggest mystery of the skating world and everyone wants to know who he is. Especially Viktor Nikiforov, the idol he's been loosely basing his new persona on for years.
Maelstrom (43,5k)
Victor Nikiforov is poised to win gold in his fifth consecutive Grand Prix Final. He has the world at his feet, is unparalleled in the sport--right up until a snowstorm blows into Sochi, and he finds himself repeating the same day over and over and over. He stumbles over Yuuri Katsuki, and everything changes.
how the mighty fall (in love) (29k)
Every Victor Nikiforov fan has three things in common. 1. They have unrealistic expectations for romance. 2. They mark their calendars with the dates of his newest book releases and the premieres of his latest movie adaptations. 3. They either passionately hate or love his greatest rival, a mysterious author whose pseudonym is only two letters: “KY.”
Allure (11k)*
Yuuri was the most powerful vampire at Hasetsu until he left for Detroit.
After his return for the first time in five years, his priority is training for the Grand Prix with Viktor. Other vampires have steadily invaded his territory, but he's not interested in reasserting his dominance too strongly…Until he catches one of them feeding on Viktor to the point of death in an alleyway.
Major NPCs (Incomplete)
So uh, here’s a big-ass list of NPCs that people are gonna meet in the game. This is about 50% a guide for me, 50% for people who aren’t me, so parts of it (like the entire description for Vesura’s lesbian vampire queens) are missing, but yeah, this is what I’ve been working on. Also as I’m looking at this, the description for Brenna Beren, the gnome from Damaria, was updated to reflect my summer party’s actions, and may or may not be what the college party ultimately does with her. But yeah, here’s a big fuckin’ list of characters I’ve been designing since like February. Enjoy!
Major NPCs
Tora:
Brinewater:
"People die, promises break, and evil prevails. But gold... gold always remains." -Edna VanLee: Wood Elf Rogue(Arcane Trickster) 18, LE, In Book Also known as the Lady of Jade, Edna VanLee is the leader of Brinewater in every sense of the word. Not only is she the city's elected mayor, she also is the head of the Jade Shadow guild, the not-so-secret thieves' guild. The Jade Shadow is a force of evil, but also one of order: any thief that does not follow their laws pays the ultimate price. Edna is a tough but refined woman, familiar with high society, though she is not a member herself. She doesn't tolerate failure or disorder. She has been known to hire adventurers from time to time, but rarely directly. When she contacts the party, it will be through a Jade Shadow member. When she was younger, Edna was less coarse, and actually went adventuring with her own ragtag bunch of misfits, Adrian included. She empathizes with the party, but mostly pities them and their naive beliefs in the good of humanity. She is, at her core, greedy. She steals because she can, she's good at it, and she enjoys being surrounded by wealth, inspired by the first dragon she met. That was the day that she and Adrian, the only adventurers left in their sad little band, parted ways.
Centuries after their parting, Edna learned of an entity called The Stranger, some cloaked figure with a shovel that destroys evil wherever it may hide. She knew that her Adrian had become this creature, and while she hasn’t seen him herself, she keeps tabs on his whereabouts so that he doesn’t get in over his head. Secretly, she has vowed to find whatever entity let Adrian trade his humanity for vengeance, and find a way to kill it.
"Don't bury me with it. You can't take it with you." -The Stranger (Adrian Drake): Human Paladin(Consumption) 20, CG, In Book A cloaked entity known to most as only The Stranger, Adrian is a walking tragedy. He was once a simple mortal man, centuries ago. He was an adventurer: he slew monsters, and that was all. However, as his blade tasted innumerable foes, he lost a few too many friends. He went on quest after quest of vengeance, slaying evil creatures not because he needed to, but because he wanted to. Eventually, Adrian became consumed with his need to destroy evil, until it overcame him. Now, centuries later, The Stranger is a living shade. He has replaced his noble greatswords and fine armor with a shovel and a tattered cloak. He carries a tombstone on his back, so that when he dies, no matter where it ultimately happens, there will be some form of burial. He doesn't know what grants him his still technically divine powers anymore, and he doesn't care. The only god he waits for now is the Raven Queen. "Brinewater's not such a bad place. Look past the pirates and you'll find decent folk!" -Finnan Goodbarrel: Halfling, No Class, LG Finnan has lived his whole life in Brinewater. He knows pretty much every area of town, and nobody has any reason to dislike him. The Jade Shadow generally leaves him alone, because he's been around for just as long as they have, and his earnings are far too humble to concern them. Still, the old Halfling is wiser than anyone figures at first glance. Finnan and his wife Bree own a bar and inn, Pino's. Bree dabbles in druidcraft, and after learning that she was infertile, she Awakened a mushroom named Pino. "If you don't ever notice it's gone, did I really steal it in the first place?" -Madam Miri (Ahari Ren): Gnome Rogue (Thief), 10, CN Ahari is a true-blue child of Brinewater. She's lived in it her entire life. Therefore, she has seen the best and the worst of humanity, and associates herself with neither. She's found her way into almost every home in Brinewater, and she could do it again. Ahari spent most of her life taking only what she needed--something for the next meal, a new (to her, at least) piece of clothing. But as she grew older, Ahari became resentful. Why should these ignorant fools, whose possessions were evidently so unimportant to them that she can steal them without getting caught, even deserve them in the first place? But Ahari knows the Jade Shadow well. She isn't totally afraid of it, but she's not foolish enough to go toe-to-toe with it either. So, she resolved to come into her own legitimately. Or at least, as legitimately she feels like. Ahari has spent some time outside of Brinewater as of late, perusing dungeons and even nicking things from careless adventurers. With what she's collected, she has managed to make herself a small magical item shop, across the walkway from Finnan and Bree's inn, on the second level. "Yes, Madam, right away." Scribbler: Kenku (no class), LE Secretary to Edna, Scribbler is a quiet person. Most of their work involves taking down Edna's orders, commanding the Jade Shadow guild with Edna's voice, and carrying their replies back to her. They're also the numbers bird behind the Jade Shadow, constantly counting coins and making sure that every guild member gets what they deserve, and not a piece more. They're the more than the slightest bit uncomfortable with their position of power, but they channel Edna and use her voice whenever they're uncertain. "Lookin' to hire a boat?" Grursad Stormwell: Dwarf (no class), LN Grursad began his life as a fish out of water. Exiled from the Iron Highlands for theft, he has since found a reputable position as the dockmaster in the city of Brinewater. Grursad is, as many dwarves are, a burly man. His black beard is cropped shorter than that of most dwarves, hanging only an inch or two off his face, and coming to a point at his chin. He wears what seems to have once looked like a nice cloth shirt, but its sleeves have been not-so-gently torn off, exposing his thick arms. His left arm sports a tattoo of a rather offensive Dwarvish curse word, and the right arm is tattooed with an even more offensive Dwarvish curse word. His eyes are stern, but not over-aggressive.
Damaria:
The world's a big place. Take a sword." -Leon Firebrand: Human Fighter(Battle Master) 9, CG, In Book Leon Firebrand went through most of his life as the man with the largest sword in the room. Born a smith, he lived simply, until a man that bought a sword of his used it against the innocent. Leon, furious, made his own sword from a monstrous hunk of black steel, and killed the man, retrieving his sword. He adventured throughout the world for a while, until he was attacked by a young bronze dragon that was the victim of mind control at the time. Leon, not knowing that bronze dragons are generally good creatures, heroically charged the dragon and swung his buster sword, cutting a deep scar into the dragon's snout. The dragon came to its senses and thanked Leon's, saying that he owed him a favor. They've been travelling together ever since. Recently, Leon has set up a new smithery, Firebrand's, in the city of Damaria. Despite its strict laws, Leon and Alderion chose the city because of its bustling economy, and because it's a great place for secrets. Leon's great blade, Dragonslayer, is mounted on the wall in the shop, covered in nicks and scratches from years of use. However, the "retired" adventurer always keeps his armor polished, just in case. "When you get as old as me, you start to see the same faces on different people. That's why it's always so exciting when a new one pops up." -Adrik Ironfist: Young Bronze Dragon/Dwarf, No Class, CG Adrik Ironfist was born Alderion, and a dragon. Once he learned of his draconic superiority, he, like many bronze dragons, took great pleasure in mingling with humans. He found their petty concerns and trifling day-to-day lives endearing, and it helped him understand why creatures as weak and feeble as humans needed protection like his. Then, one day, his conceit became his comeuppance, as a band of kobolds, servants to a black dragon, invaded his coastal cave, stole his meagre pile of treasure, and, most embarrassingly, took control of his mind. He found himself assaulting a band of adventurers, and while his mind yelled at him to stop, a tall blonde man with a monstrous sword struck him in the nose. The impact was so great that it left a scar, even on his thick hide. Alderion then learned how naive he'd become, and his scar was a permanent reminder that humanoids are capable of more than most dragons know. Now Alderion spends his days as Adrik Ironfist, assistant and lover to Leon. He knows very little about forge techniques, but he carries materials from one end of the forge to the other, and he always attempts to indulge the patrons in friendly conversation. The life of a simple dwarf is easy for him, but Alderion still secretly waits for the days when he can spread his grand wings into the sky once more.
“There cannot be order when reckless mages run free in my city.” Archbishop Rolf: Human (No class), LE
Archbishop Rolf inherited the great city of Damaria from his father. Before he took over the city-state, not many knew him. However, he quickly appealed to a smaller sect of Damaria’s populace, a radical group that wished to exterminate all of the mages in the city, for the sake of order. Most Damarians want to live in peace, but his extermination of mages has become the rule that most are used to living other.
"Purity... and peace." -Lucian Senatus: Dragonborn Monk (Tranquility), 7, LG, In Book Lucian Senatus is a walking contradiction. He lives in a city that spurns mages and all creatures magical, and yet he is an essential, if small, element of maintaining the city's guard. He works as a healer for the guards, helping cure diseases and wounds. He is not necessarily under their employ, but he's a medicine man that they frequently turn to when they meet an injury they don't know how to heal. His services are of course open to the rest of the people as well. Lucian generally tries to help everyone that needs him, believing that the ability to heal others is not his to withhold. Lucian was actually born in Overturn Valley, and spent most of his childhood there. However, he wandered the world, and eventually settled in Damaria. He felt that the city needed him, as he is unaffected by its hatred of mages. He is a pacifist by nature, and will help anyone that comes to him, if he can. He doesn't like to give information about who he heals, but if the party learns of his country of origin, he'll attempt to give them some insight about it.
“My grandpa’s theory sounds crazy, but I have to believe it.”
Brenna Beren, Gnome (no class) NG:
Brenna is the granddaughter of Sergius Beren, a gnome whose life’s work was compiling a grand theory on the origins of the world and its current state. He studied ancient texts and did archaeology all over the continent, and found ruins or mentions of societies that had no modern continuations. What was even more puzzling is that they referred to major geographic features, like mountains and lakes, that simply did not exist. Further study of past religions led Sergius to conclude that vast chunks of this planet had simply vanished, in a great calamity he dubbed “The Shattering.”
Brenna grew up hearing of her grandfather’s theories as he pieced them together, waiting for him to come home and tell her about his newest piece of research. When she came of age, they studied it together, though by then, Sergius’ theory had become mostly complete. The old gnome’s golden years were behind him, though, and he passed away, handing his theory down to Brenna. She has kept it well and expanded upon it when need be. She used to manage a library in Damaria, but ever since contact with the party, the only people in Damaria interested in her grandfather’s theory, she had to leave it behind. She laments the loss of one of the greatest centers of knowledge on the continent, but she has saved all she can, and is beginning to recreate her beloved library in Clearsky Hideout, where the party has left her. "Do you require my assistance?" Archmage Amon: Human Wizard (Abjuration), 18, CG Archmage Amon hides in plain sight. As a powerful mage living in Damaria, the least safe place for people like him, he initially took a lot of precautions in setting up his living space, spending years creating complex illusions. But as time's gone on, he's become rather complacent, taking to hiding in plain sight. Most every day, he dresses up in robes and walks in the town square to study the Fire Eternal. He's utterly fascinated by its origin, and very few things can tear him away from that pursuit. However, if confronted with an interesting enough thing to research, or a cause that desperately requires his aid, Amon will reluctantly tear himself away from the Fire Eternal to lend a hand. He's bookish, but businesslike. He's extremely skilled at minimizing the amount of time that he has to interact with someone, unless they've proven themselves worthy of his attention or friendship. Such relationships are ones that he doesn't seek, though, and he makes them very rarely.
Vesura:
“”
Queen Lenora Ves: Half-Elven Vampire, LE (In Book)
One of Vesura’s queens, vampire. Always wears red.
“”
Queen Alvina Ves: Human Vampire, LE (In Book)
Other Vesura queen, vampire. Always wears white.
Ravenna:
“I hate being a politician, which is why I must do it.”
Darius Drake, Human Paladin (Vengeance, Raven Queen), 12, NG (In Book)
Darius Drake was born to inherit the leadership of Ravenna, but since he was so far down the line of succession, he spent his early life wandering the realm, caring for little. However, he was still pure of heart, and he rid the land of evil where he could. He grew strong, and even became part of a roaming group of adventurers. They had grand adventures together, but eventually the other members grew old or died in battle, and Darius was one of the last to leave the band. He returned home to Ravenna, and took an elven princess as his wife. They lived happily together for a time, and the marriage produced a son. However, his wife soon fell ill, and Darius was tasked with being the lord of the city and a father all alone. Darius’ goddess, the Raven Queen, called him in for one last favor, and Darius was eager to adventure once more, even if alone. The Queen had learned of an entity that had delayed its own death by centuries, and even though it didn’t seem to harm the world, she still wished to preserve the cycle of life and death. Darius took up the task, but was met by his famed ancestor, Adrian Drake. They fought, and Darius lost, but Adrian spared his life in exchange for the Queen’s begrudging pardon of his crimes against the natural cycle of life and death. Adrian promised both the Queen and Darius that he would allow himself to die, but not quite yet. Darius returned home, now ready to retire. However, his son Jason, suddenly fully grown, told Darius that he wished to travel the world as his father did, and to track the lineage of the great Drake family, particularly the first Drake, a man Darius now knew to be Adrian. Darius couldn’t refuse, but he worried that Jason would get in over his head and learn of the awful fate that had become of their ancestor.
“That glimmer of hope you see… that’s me.”
Jason Drake: Half-Elven Paladin (Devotion, Pelor), 6, NG (In Book)
Jason Drake was born in his father’s shadow, but he quickly became determined to shine brighter than his dad. He studied hard and honestly, displaying excellent mastery with books as well as weapons, though his instructors said that his fighting style was quite peculiar. Nevertheless, Jason excelled, and when it came time for him to commit to a deity, he chose Pelor, the god of purity and light, that he might banish the darkness that surrounds his father and their lineage. Finally, he seeks the first Drake, the legendary hero who, centuries ago, roamed the land and sought out evil wherever he could find it. Legend has it, the First Drake established Ravenna, but his tale has no conclusion, for he mysteriously disappeared four centuries ago. Jason is determined to retrace his ancestor’s footsteps and discover what happened to his lineage, though he knows not what awaits him at the end of that path…
The Triple Peaks
“These peaks are older than memory.”
Gae-al Coldheaven: Goliath, no class, NG
Gae-al is the chief of the Cold Heaven tribe that resides on the southern base of the middle of the Triple Peaks. She was essentially forced into the role of chief, ever since the previous chief and the tribe’s elders disappeared on their yearly pilgrimage to the other side of the peak. She doesn’t fully understand the tribe’s traditions, but she respects the ruins of the ancient monasteries. Keothi was elected by her people, but she worries if she is enough, and if she will be able to keep the tribe fed and alive through the upcoming winter.
Worldsend
“Welcome… to the end of the world.”
Elder Norden, Human, no class, LG
Elder Norden is the leader of the small tribe of guardians who live in Worldsend. He’s been a watcher of the tribe for the last sixty years, and was very worried when the acolytes of the Cold Heaven tribe stopped coming.
                                                                                              v; skyrim au
one - main skyrim verse; Hector is an Imperial from Anvil, a former pirate and current assassin with the Falkreath sanctuary of the Dark Brotherhood, and part time grave robber, ruin delver, and all around shady individual.  He has ties with the Thieves Guild, probably more so than others of his family except for Astrid, because he’s never one to let an opportunity for bettering himself slip by, and his pockets do tend to get loaded down now again from ill-gotten gains.  On the whole, while he’s fairly content to remain in the Brotherhood as one of the more experienced of the assassins, he has issues with the way things are run.  The Tenents are there for a reason, and Astrid’s disregard of them as a whole chafes against who he is as an assassin, and he has a terrible time trying to submit to her leadership.  It’s a little tricky, trying to plot the murder of the leader of your little murder family, or your “sabbatical” to another group when plenty of what’s left of the Brotherhood don’t otherwise seem to have a problem with her. Has no issue with necromancers, daedric princes, and has been known to charm a jarl or two in his time to give himself a leg up while posing as everything he actually isn’t.  Depending on his own particular point in his story, is also among the undead, having gotten turned on a tomb delve gone bad.  Eventually is cured of it.   two - secondary skyrim verse;  Hector is still Imperial, still from Anvil, but was part of the same sanctuary as Cicero until in the end it was just him, his smaller, feistier murder sibling, and the Night Mother, and he made the journey to the Falkreath sanctuary with them.  His opinion is that the Falkreath sanctuary is shamefully run, and shamefully cared for, and while active enough with assassinations, purposefully forms no real attachments to anyone else in the sanctuary.  Which turns out to be an excellent idea when Cicero does what both of them had probably been thinking and went for Astrid.  Is later found as a member of the Dawnstar sanctuary (assuming Cicero is spared by the Listener) or defecting to the Thieves Guild (if Cicero is killed).  In cahoots with @foclheart for this verse.  You know:  The family that slays together stays together. three - dragonborn verse;  Based on the idea that the heroes of Tamriel don’t exist until they’re needed:  This is canon Hector Barbossa thrown into the world and let loose with the power of the thu’um, to shape the world as he sees fit, before being yanked back to his own proper place and time.  Everyone mistakes him for an Imperial, and he actually does little to dissuade that, even with the civil war going on.  Thieves Guild member, Nightingale, and defeater of the World Eater.  His homebase is in Riften, and he does his part and joins the Dawnguard, for all the good he thinks it actually does, despite the stopping of the prophecy.  He’s made deals with daedra, killed plenty of vampires, avoided the Companions like the plague, and curbstomped Miraak for all he was worth.  He’s an enemy of the Thalmor simply on principle alone, because as someone who values his own freedom as much as he does, the idea that they would try to hamper that is like sandpaper to him, despite not giving two fucks about Talos at all. And Delphine had better learn to be three times as paranoid if she thinks he’s remotely intimidated by her.
Backstory:
Vlad Tepes, the King of Vampires, many call him Dracul, “The Dragon” as he possesses the strength and power like many dragons and can turn into 1, he is feared by many that even the Deities and Devils feared his power, many have tried to kill him and many have failed, he has decimated so many Hunters and Demons that grows bored of his power, but when meeting the woman he loves, Yami, he makes her into his bride and a vampire, she came from the East and provided much knowledge to Vlad, after centuries of loving each other and killing many foes they had a child, naming her Kurai
Kurai Tepes was born by tearing out of her Mother’s womb, as many Vampire children do, Vlad restored Yami of her pain and wounds, both proud of their new child calling her their little adorable killer, they shown her so much and have tutored her over her years growing up, even taught her how to torture prisoners they catch, however the difficulty is that the Humans were still wanting to rid of the Vampires from the world of Ravage, the Order sent their most powerful Holy Knights against Vlad and his Army at his Castle, he told his family to stay while he dealt with the “fools”, with his power he destroyed and slain many of them with his Impaler Sword, also a Lost Reaper Tool
While Vlad was slaying the many Knights and Elites, outside, 3 Silver Maidens managed to get in the Castle and kill the guards, they then find Yami and Kurai, protecting her child, Yami fought against the Maidens with her skill and power as a Vampire and an Assassin of the East, however after long fight she finally gave out and impaled by all of them with their Silver weapons, killing her, Vlad feeling his lovers pain, bursts with black fire burning every Order member around him and then teleports back to see his lover turn ash, enraged he easily defeats the 3 Maidens but does not kill them, instead has them trapped and eternally tortured and raped by the many beasts he owns, he will sometimes torture them himself, cutting them and waiting for them to heal so he may do so again and again, he makes them suffer, but takes care of his daughter, loving her and giving her gifts, he does what he can to protect and not lose her like Yami, he then declares war on Ravage for provoking him and killing his wife and mother to his child
3 years after, Kurai is now 8 years old, mankind has suffered from the war with the vampires that they were going to lose, Vlad saw a near victory and demanded that the Order was to surrender as they bought this on themselves and did not leave his kind alone in peace, because of this the Order was desperate and in came an odd oldman wearing a poncho and a hat smoking a very strong cigar that can choke many with the dark clouds it makes, he says that he will deal with the King so long as the Order provides the payment he needs, this oldman was non-other than Muetre Smokes, an old retired Grimm Reaper that came from the Grimm Reaper Realm, now he was just a hired gun of Ravage, having no other choice they paid the Old Reaper to stop the King of Vampires himself
Vlad carried on the attack to take over Ravage but when his forces came across Muetre they were quickly decimated by the old man somehow, this surprises Vlad and after Muetre killed most of his kind he requests Muetre to a personal duel at his Castle which the Old Reaper accepts, before he prepares himself Vlad kisses his daughter’s goodnight before heading out, Kurai waits for her Father but wakes from his intense battle with Muetre, she heads out to find her Father, but finds him fatally injured and shot by Muetre who was unharmed in their battle, Muetre possessed his Reaper Tool he had as a Grimm Reaper, a silver revolver that is the sister of the Godkiller, the Dead Deity, however, Muetre used his other gun which was not a Reaper Tool to kill Vlad as he chose that Vlad should cross the afterlife, seeing him as a worthy warrior, Kurai crying as a Father dies in her hands makes him happy seeing her 1 last time, as his last request to Muetre, he asks him to take his daughter and protect her as she will be killed without him
Respecting Vlad’s last wishes, Muetre adopts Kurai and takes her in his Secret Home which can travel to different Universes like Remnant or other worlds, Kurai distrusting the old man keeps her distance and several times have tried to kill him, being the last attempt he actually gives her a chance, but she does not and instead cries, Muetre trying to comfort her is told to leave her alone, which he does so, because she does not know what to do, she runs away and goes in the streets of Arson, there she tries to find a way to get rid of her sadness, she is later found by her Uncle Edward Black whom attempts to take her and forcefully make her his Queen so he may take Vlad’s place, Kurai being a child she could not fend him or his familiars and was overpowered until Muetre arrived calmly while smoking, easily decimating the familiars, Black then attempts to kill Muetre but his senses sees a nightmare and realizes he was the 1 that killed Vlad
Muetre tells him that Kurai is under his care now and if he or his people seek to take her again, he will “risk” in losing his potential customers and wipe him and them out, because of this, Black steps back from the fight and escapes, Muetre looks like he is about the slap Kurai but actually just trimmed her hair saying it it too long for her age, then walks off saying to her to come along, Kurai finally gets over her family’s death and follows Muetre back to her new home, Kurai then asks Muetre can she be a mercenary too, he responds when she’s older saying she could be 1, because of this, Muetre created Smokes Enterprise looking forward in working with others
Growing as teen, Kurai met Bheriya who was adopted by Muetre after they fought each other and Bheriya lost, they both do not get a long and tend to make fun of each other or fight, even destroy each other belongings and aiming their guns at each other, but over time they still argue but care for each other like siblings but do not show it, years pass and Bheriya grows stronger making Kurai jealous, but Muetre cheers her up by saying she may surpass him 1 day with Bheriya responding “as if”
Years after Kurai is now an adult and is a very attractive woman as she can draw in anyone with her sex appeal, both men and women, she has developed her Mother’s sense of lust seeking out and seducing other while killing and having fun, much to Muetre’s dismay wishing she was more lady-like, he has taught her how to fire and fight as well as mastering some of her Vampiric powers, Kurai has also become a porn-star, loving to show her body to the media sexually and loved BDSM, being a sadomasochist she likes to torture people and get tortured herself as she has gotten stronger and her body is very resilient but sensitive at the same time, pain makes her feel a sexual pleasure which somehow makes her more stronger and faster, blades cannot cut through her tough skin but she does feel pleasure when someone attempts to cut her and when it is pressed on her flesh, her own suit actually can pleasure her when she activates it’s other “functions”
Kurai still dislikes Bheriya and gets upset when having to do a jobs with him, during her hunt for a creature in Serin, she is caught by the Dark One thinking she is a monster working for Lord Sticks, he cuffs her in his secret hideout and uses a ward to block her power, he interrogates her but also starts falling for her from her beauty that his Demon side starts to react and nearly rapes her, however he restrains himself until Kurai says it’s ok, she can handle it giving him consent that she does not mind, because of that he does not restrain himself and his Demon side takes over and has sex with her very painfully, but she ends up loving it as this carries on for 12 hours, the next day the Dark One wakes up with his Mask on but no clothes, he then sees that he slept with Kurai who’s hands were cuffed to the bed while she was a sleep, he feels bad but sees her giggle in her sleep, he finds her weird and starts liking her for that
After a few days Kurai was still the Dark One’s prisoner as he still thinks she’s with Sticks, with his lover Emma Washington they still interrogate her but grow close to her to, sometimes tickling the answers out of her, this was the first time the Dark One has ever been gentle to a criminal as he usually tears them apart harshly, him and Emma then make out with Kurai and carry on torturing her, but not brutally, they start to like her more and more, a week has past since Kurai has gone missing in Serin, so Bheriya sets out to find her, he then comes across the Dark One who thinks he is a criminal too
They both fight and devastate parts of the city, Kurai senses them and requests Emma to free her so she can stop them killing each other, she does so and follows her finding the 2 cutting and blasting at each other while leaping around the City, Kurai tells them to stop saying nothing bad is happening, with Bheriya really confused, Kurai explain to the Dark One that Bheriya is her coworker to the man she was trying to tell about, now listening to her words, he calls up Smokes Enterprise and request Muetre to explain, he tells him that Kurai was sent to stop a Demon Ritual that Belial planned to use so he can take over Serin, coincidentally the Ritual is complete and now the Dark One believes her they all join together and take on Belial who has now achieved great power, in the end the Dark One uses his Knight Form to weaken Belial while Kurai finishes it off with her Dragon form,after that, Kurai scolds Bheriya for attacking the Dark One with Bheriya angry and finding it ironic that she is defending the guy who imprisoned her and tortured her instead of him who was rescuing her
With Serin saved, Bheriya and Kurai headed back to Smokes Enterprise, but Kurai says goodbye to the Dark One and his lover Emma, saying she might visit by again with them both looking forward to it as they now love the Vampire and their time with her, the Dark One already starting to miss her thinks about heading to Jibana himself 1 day with Emma, Kurai loving her time with her captors is kinda upset that it didn’t last longer, but Bheriya ignores as he is angry with her and the Dark One saying “you assholes were made for each other” while driving his Monster Truck back
Kurai is still with Smokes Enterprise and carries on doing jobs with them as new members join in
