We are gonna stop Having A Farm and just keep like 3 pet goats and Blue, bc I am way sicker than I was when I started this and more and more work has fallen on my mom which just isn't fair. Kinda sad but mostly relieved. It's too much work for one person!!!!! Gotta take care of ourselfs first

Our pygora buck Wordsworth's fuck resume is a grand total of 1 kid in a couple years. Monkey Business has sired 32. Hopefully his. businesslike seduction. serves as an example for poor simple Wordsworth. He’s a very good and sweet and wonderful boy, but not very buck-y 

This guy, on the other hand, has worked himself out of a job. Nice bonus: good conformation, and a really impressive dairy pedigree! Bucks pass those udder and production genes on to their doe kids.

Ruthie the sheep died today. Fine yesterday. Today mom found her downed and not eating and she died within the hour. When mom got hands on her she's skinny... So, worms. But we lost an unnamed ram lamb yesterday too, same thing.

Ruthie was such a good sheep. I'm so sad that she had to go this way after all we have gotten her through. These dairy sheep are so much more fragile... That is why we were outcrossing them to the landrace types to begin with but it is so so hard to lose a good animal that you have worked so hard to get through so many other things for so long. And her temperament was just PERFECT... I am glad we have 2 of her lambs and I hope they will be hardier due to their soay sire but... Rip Ruthie :( rip all the livestock people must be losing in droves in this heat wave all over the country... All over the WORLD

ETHEL LAMBED!!! TRIPLETS!!! Two ewelings and a ram lamb. So goofy looking. All healthy and up and walking and nursing. Very curious! One is a sort of light brown with socks and a white blaze and 2 are white like Ethel. It is her first live birth and she did it all on her own with no help! She is a genius! ❤
