The cast were emotional and crying and basically said they had a meeting with the author and discussed what each character would be now. And they got the green light to proceed foward!!! Something I gotta give major props to the Pit Babe stylist team and actors is creating believable versions of the characters when younger. Pete and Babe in particular. Often in flashbacks its very difficult to buy the characters are younger if played by the same actor. But not in Pit babe. They look like teenage (ish) versions of themselves.

Hair is left fluffy and natural with bangs to make faces look rounder when young, opposed to the hair gel heavy (and i think darker dyed) looks of older that show off matured bone structure.

Clothing is baggier to make their bodies look more small and lean, while as adults Babe rocks tanks and Pete fitted suits that show off broad shoulders and muscles.

The actors even move and talk differently. I've noticed in the younger scenes they tend to hunch in their shoulder and talk softer, compared to standing tall and being more commanding in their tone.

Overall they are physically showing how the strong shells of these characters hide a soft young heart that just wanted to be with their best friend.

It feels like such a breath of fresh air with how Change 2561 treats their artists.

Pavel doing whatever he wants and saying whatever he wants and admitting that half of the time what he and Pooh do is just to tease the series Y fangirls is honestly such a welcome change and so refreshing to see.

Also, all of the boys maintaining their friendships (read: the labubu gang and the pitbull gang) regardless of who their official ships are feels like such a breath of fresh air in a toxic environment.

It's good to see that they can do whatever they want and that they are not being forced into fanservice.

The BL world is healing.
