I got my first Lolita fashion dress and it is so, so, so much prettier in person than it is online!!!

Unfortunately, Wunderwelt doesn't list arm circumference (bit chubby on the upper arms). I got it bigger/looser than needed around the waist and chest, but my linebacker shoulders* still didn’t quite fit, PFFT.

*Slight exaggeration, but there was no way to zip that dress from the back or freely move my arms! I’ve often had this problem with suit jackets, dresses, etc., I have really wide shoulders and even if my arms fit because it’s loose/oversized, my shoulders will be pinched at the back and I won’t be able to move my arms! Tailoring for me would be bizarrely difficult, different proportions everywhere.

It’s a wine-coloured Doll Princess Sleeve dress from indie Lolita brand, Pina sweetcollection.

Next time, I'll stick to a JSK so I can leave my problematic shoulders free, I have plenty of blouses I could wear with them. Still, it was amazing and lovely and the lace was so fluffy and pretty and soft. The way it falls and folds is so different from stiff cheap lace.

着脱しやすく下から脱げた。

このBABYのチョコケーキのジャンスカの唯一の欠点は肩の結ぶタイプのおリボンが解けやすいということ。

着脱の際に解けた。

このおリボンは縫い付けてあったほうがよかった。

ジャンスカは私の太い体型でも着られるちょうどいいサイズだった。

念願のチョコケーキコーデができてよかった。

New Lolita items!

I’ve been shopping lately on the UK EGL sales, and bought myself a black old-school Gothic headdress from Pina Sweetcollection and some chunky old school platforms from Montreal! Both arrived today and yesterday, and I’m in love. The shoes even fit - almost as though they were made for me! I’m hoping to get a good photo of the outfit I’m planning at the weekend for my new Lookbook account.
