Monday weather in Phuket has a few showers later today to start our week off, the Minimum temperature is 24-26 °C. Maximum temperature should be 29-32 °C, blue skies and sunshine greet our Monday morning. At recent locations, we have recorded local temperatures of 26 °C and 27 °C which should rise to 30 °C by mid-day. It looks like a reasonable weather start to our new week.

The weekend is nearly here the Friday weather in Phuket is taken from our recent locations as we look forward to another hopefully dryer weekend in paradise. Currently, there is a weakening southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea.

Thailand as a whole has been experiencing unusually cool weather and higher-than-normal average rain. Fortunately with the High Season in full swing that has changed.

The rather strong wind forces the waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf up to 2-3 meters high and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers. The waves in the lower Gulf are about 2 meters high and in thundershowers more than 2 meters high. All should proceed with caution, keep off thundershowers and small boats keep ashore until 1 October.
