Good news! I got approved for the apartment I want to move into. They wanted a cosigner because the very confusing paystub I provided as proof of employment led them to believe I was making about $1k a month. And then applying for an $800 a month apartment. But anyhow, that got all cleared up and I was approved with no cosigner required. I'm very excited because it's quite a nice apartment and pretty close to where I work.

Welcome to my blog for the shop I recently opened - ImpeRiCal. Now, you’re surely wondering, “Wtf are you doing marketing the shop on Tumblr out of all the social media platforms today?” Well, first off, I still love Tumblr (despite everything). Second, what I will do with this tiny shop (well, what I want to do) is perfect for Tumblr. What is that? Well…
ImpeRiCal is an e-shop where I create designs and through print-on-demand platforms sell them on different products. I primarily make them for phone cases, but (as you will read on the shop’s site) if you like some design on a different product, that can be done by contacting me and discussing the possibility. The designs are structured into 3 categories:
• Abstract: These are simple designs, nothing too complicated about them. Hence, they won’t have a story.
• Dreamland: These are more detailed and interesting designs that are connected to a story.
• Intermix: Sometimes I end up with designs that are not abstract but I can’t quite put them in a story. They don’t always make good phone cases but can be interesting on something else, even as a phone background.
And now you must be wondering what are these stories I keep mentioning. This is where Tumblr comes into play. Each Dreamland design will be connected to a fanfic or a personal story. Basically, they will be more like scenes and elements of the made-up story my brain decides to share that day. All of these short fics/stories will be posted here, with relevant hashtags so you know what you’re reading and getting. Basically, this Tumblr will be the shop’s personal storyteller ✨
Well, that’s all I have for now. With time I will create more posts and videos (probably uploaded on the shop’s Insta) about how it all came to be and what every little corner of my store (can I say it has corners?) means.

Example: you're filling out paperwork and your dad sits next to you and tells you the answers to questions like: what is your name and last name (he also helps you spell it), when is your birthday, when did you graduate high scool etc.
#this actually happened tk my sister a few years back#she lost her ID card and had to go to the police station early in the morning to aply for a new one#my dad woke me up in like 7 am to go with them in case they needed help with tech stuff (finding the necessary forms online)#he ended up figuring it out by himself and he was very proud#and then went to help out my sister with the paperwork and did what i described above#it reminded me of how captain holt in b99 always informed his husband of his full name when they talked on the phone#and when they were making reservations and holt told kevin how to spell his name#anyways afterwards my dad went to buy coffee and a tiropita as a thank you for the officer thay helped us and fought with my sister#bc she didn't want to bring them to the officer#before he bought the stuff he asked us if we wanted anything and i asked for an iced tea which he forgot :(#so not only was my presence useless i also didn't get anything out if it#but seeing my dad and sister fill out paperwork was pretty funny and i will forever cherish that memory#shitpost#text#crispy talks

i hated airpods & phones with those big fugly cameras in the back when they were announced as a concept & i hate them even more each time i see that hideousness in person

in case you guys don’t see me around much these next few weeks, I am most likely going to be putting myself on a sort of hiatus. I’m struggling to enjoy my time in the online wrestling community lately, and I think a large part of it just has to do with some general irritability I’m dealing with that’s making it harder to brush off things that I’m normally good at ignoring. well, that and my computer going so downhill that even making the smallest of gifsets is taking way too much time these days, which always bums me out a bit. I may only be away for a week or two, but I’m actually hoping to step away for a solid month. we’ll see. 💗

Here I go to spend several days by myself in the North Carolina wilderness. Wish me luck. Never gone camping alone (but I have my dogs, and I trust them more than any people I know), so that's intimidating. Hopefully I don't have to fistfight a bear over whatever I'm cooking that night. Not looking forward to no toilet or shower until Monday, but it is what it is. I absolutely have to do this, for my mental health. I'm losing so much money taking the time off work to just have mountain time to myself. But I gotta. My life has been such a chaotic mess for over half a year now - everything that could go wrong, has - and I've never felt so close to just letting myself snap. I can feel it boiling right under the surface at any given time.
But yeah. Should be a time. Might post pictures upon my return (provided a bear doesn't decide I'm on the menu). Wish me luck!
