Jamie was sitting in his room on FaceTime with Trevor, listening to Trevor yap about something from practice.

Jamie heard a knock on his door and knew who it was, “Yeah?” Jamie soflty called out and Trevor quieted down looking interested.

Phoenix poked his head looking at Jamie he didn’t notice his little brother on Jamie’s screen, “Hey sorry,” Phoenix apologized quickly seeing he was on call, “Did you want to get lunch before we need to head out?” Phoenix soflty asked knowing Jamie hasn’t eaten lunch yet and they need to head to the stadium in a few hours for their game.

“Yeah give me like fifteen minutes?” Jamie softly nodded and asked him with a soft smile that made Trevor look at him suspiciously.

“No rush.” Phoenix smiled and turned around to walk out.

“Wow! Don’t even say hi to your own brother!” Trevor yelled through the screen making Phoenix turn around and Jamie turned his phone to Phoenix.

Phoenix and Jamie share a fond look of Trevor’s dramatics.

“Hi Trev.” Phoenix softly greeted his baby brother.

“Hi!” Trevor beamed happily back as he got his attention.

“I’ll talk to you later.” Phoenix gave Trevor a look and walked out of the room not wanting to take away from the time Jamie has to talk to his best friend.

Jamie watched Phoenix go with a sappy look o his face and snapped his head back at the phone at the sound of Trevor’s mischievous snicker.

“What?” Jamie asked alreadly dreading what Trevor is going to say.

“You like my brother!” Trevor singsonged with a giant grin on his face.

Jamie blanched and looked extremely pale while also his cheeks flushing bright red, “N-No!” Jamie stuttered out quickly looking extremely panicked.

“Relax Jimmy.” Trevor smiled seeing that Jamie most definitely has a crush on his big brother and his didn’t mind.

“I don’t.” Jamie tried to be stern but his voice wavered, “But uh hypothetically if i did, would that be okay?” Jamie hesitantly asked not looking at the screen.

Trevor felt his face soften and shook his head with a fond smile, “Jamie there is no one else i would want to be with my brother.” Trevor knew how much the two would be good together and while he was sad about the trade he was glad that Jamie got traded to Philly.

“Thanks.” Jamie cleared his throat sheepishly rubbing his neck.

“Now go get food with Nix.” Trevor smiled softly at his best friend once more.

“Bye Z.” Jamie smiled softly back and nodded.

Trevor waved with a grin before he hung up.

Jamie blew out a long breath, Trevor was okay with him liking Phoenix, maybe it was okay to accept what he felt for Phoenix.

Jamie has always felt nervous around Phoenix but not the anxious nervous that he is used to but more of a nervous he really likes, Jamie has always felt himself with Phoenix and Phoenix just always seems to know how to read him in a way Trevor can’t even do.

Jamie nodded slowly and knew he couldn’t pretend he didn’t feel anything for Phoenix anymore, he’s been crushing on him since Trevor introduced them in 2021.

Phoenix, Cam and Travis were all sitting at one table together in the cafeteria eating breakfast after the early morning skate before they are getting on the plane to Toronto for the game tonight.

Phoenix was having his mocha hot coffee, eggs, toast and potatoes, and he managed to grab his favorite oranges as there was only one left this morning.

Jamie was a few minutes late having to talk to Coach about something but he walked into the cafeteria and got some food on his plate and he frowned sadly when he saw there was no oranges left.

Jamie had looked around when he walked in to see where Phoenix was sitting and now walked over to the table and sat down in between Cam and Phoenix.

“What’s with the frown Drysy?” Travis poked at his newest teammate noticing the sad frown on his face.

“They had no more oranges left.” Jamie sadly told them, it sounded crazy but for some reason wherever the team’s kitchen gets the oranges, they are quite literally the best oranges.

Phoenix felt his heart clench funny at the sight of Jamie being unhappy and he slid his orange across the table to Jamie and it was completely worth it watching his face completely light up with a bright smile.

“Thank you! Are you sure you don’t want it?” Jamie smiled brightly but still looked concerned at Phoenix.

“I’m good all yours.” Phoenix shook his head fondly.

Travis raised a skeptical brow because in all of the years he has known his best friend never once has ever shared any food with anyone and sharing his absolute favorite food is unheard of.

Travis has noticed how much softer Phoenix is to Jamie but this was just a whole nother level of softness towards Jamie. Travis wonders if Phoenix realizes he’s in love with Jamie.

Phoenix blushed slightly at the giant smile he got from Jamie but shook his head and looked away and made eye contact with his best friend who was smirking at him knowingly.

“What?” Phoenix mouthed at Travis but Travis just shook his head with a smirk, knowing Phoenix will figure it out eventually.

Phoenix turned back to Jamie and saw Jamie holding out a piece of the orange and Phoenix softly smiled and nodded grabbing the slice happily eating it.

Jamie split the rest of the orange with Phoenix making Cam and Travis share a look wondering when the two were just gonna admit their feelings for each other.

Jamie walked into the apartment seeing most of the lights all off and just a glow coming from the dinning room, “Nix?” Jamie called out as he knew Phoenix would be home as Jamie had the car. Jamie sniffed slightly and could smell something good cooking.

“In here.” Phoenix called back nervously wiping his hands on his pants as he waited for what felt like forever for Jamie to walk into the dinning room.

Jamie furrowed his brows in confusion but walked down the hallways and into the dinning room and gasped slightly seeing the dinning room.

There were lots candles around the whole room, the dining room table was decorated very fancy like a restaurant, there was sushi on the plates and Phoenix was holding a bouquet of orange tulips.

“What is all of this?” Jamie soflty asked as he looked all around and he noticed how the sushi was his favorite kind.

“Jamie, I would love if you would be my date for tonight.” Phoenix nervously asked as he stepped closer to Jamie holding the flowers in one hand.

Jamie smiled softly his cheeks flushing bright pink, “Just tonight?” Jamie teased slightly letting out a small chuckle.

“As long as you will have me.” Phoenix told Jamie and gently grabbing Jamie’s hand.

“Did you talk to Z?” Jamie titled his head curiously.

“I uh was telling him about my feelings and he may of told me that you felt the same for me.” Phoenix sheepishly explained he was glad Trevor told him that so he had enough confidence to ask Jamie out.

“And how do you feel?” Jamie soflty asked stepping closer and looking up at Phoenix.

Phoenix swallowed nervously with Jamie being so close, “I like you and i would really like for you to be my boyfriend.” Phoenix soflty spoke maintaining eye contact with Jamie.

“Yes. Yeah i would really like that.” Jamie beamed and nodded quickly.

Phoenix let out a laugh of relief, “Good.” He gently pressed a kiss to Jamie’s cheek before stepping back and pulling Jamie to the table, Phoenix pulled out the chair and Jamie sat down. Phoenix handed the flowers to Jamie before he walked around the table to sit across from Jamie.

“This is my favorite sushi.” Jamie stated as Phoenix opened the bottle of wine that’s also Jamie’s favorite.

“I know.” Phoenix simply replied and smirked slightly at Jamie making him shake his head fondly.

Jamie and Phoenix ate their sushi talking about random things before Phoenix excused himself and walked out of the room.

Jamie gently brushed his fingers over his flowers and smiled softly, he’s never gotten flowers before.

Jamie looked up and saw Phoenix walking back in with a plate, with something that smelled really good.

Jamie perked up happily when Phoenix put a steak on his plate and he beamed. Steak is already Jamie’s favorite but when Phoenix’s makes it it’s even better.

“Thank you.” Jamie smiled softly and reached over the table gently grabbing Phoenix’s once they both finished their steaks, “No one has ever done something like this for me.” Jamie sadly added, he’s never been very lucky in relationships and a lot of people in LA just wanted to try to get with him for money and no one ever has treated as kindly as Phoenix does.

“Of course Jay.” Phoenix smiled softly squeezing Jamie’s hand, he was sad no one ever treated this sweet boy the way he should he, “I wanted to do something for you because i care for you.” Phoenix’s words made him smile brighter and blush more.

“Got room for dessert?” Phoenix playfully questioned and Jamie chuckled but nodded.

Phoenix lifted Jamie’s hand pressing a soft kiss to it before he gently set it back on the table and let go of it getting up.

Jamie flushed even brighter at Phoenix’s actions and watched him walk out of the room.

Jamie stared at the door until Phoenix walked in with a round tin in his hands. Phoenix set it down in front of Jamie and Jamie beamed as he realized it was his favorite dessert, cheesecake.

“Did you make this?” Jamie asked noticing how it was a reusable pan.

Phoenix sheepishly nodded and his cheeks turned pink, “If it’s not good then-“ He was cut off by Jamie leaning up and pressing his lips to his.

Phoenix stopped talking and cupped Jamie’s face bringing him closer as he desperately kissed him back.

“It’s going to be great.” Jamie whispered against Phoenix’s lips. Phoenix smiled softly back.

February 25, 2024

Phoenix had turned around and watched across the ice as Jamie fell on his shoulder and his hand quickly grabbed his shoulder and Jamie quickly got up and hurried off the ice and down the tunnel.

Phoenix bit his lip looking worried but knew he couldn’t go see Jamie until after the game was over so he pushed back his worries and focused on the game.

The Flyers lost 6-7 to the Penguins.

Phoenix rushed down the tunnel and quickly took a shower and got dressed and luckily he didn’t have any media to do that night.

He quickly hurried down the halls to the medical rooms and walked in seeing Jamie dressed in comfortable clothes and out of his uniform looking drowsy.

“Hey Jay.” Phoenix greeted him softly, Jamie slowly looked over and smiled brightly at Phoenix.

“Nix!” Jamie beamed happily and started giggling. Phoenix furrowed his brows in confusion and looked towards the doctor.

“He had a high dose of pain medication.” The doctor looked amused as he told Phoenix, Phoenix nodded smiling looking amused.

“How is he?” Phoenix asked the doctor and stayed standing next to Jamie, Jamie who was tracing Phoenix’s tattoos that he could see.

“It’s a lot better than it could be, it’s not a bad as his last injury and he will have a splint on for three or five days then he won’t need it anymore, but what he does need is a good night sleep tonight.” The doctor told one of his many players. Lucky for Jamie his injury could’ve been alot of worst and he shouldn’t miss to much time out for his injury.

“Do you’ve got him?” The doctor doubled checked with Phoenix.

“Of course.” Phoenix nodded quickly and looking down at Jamie and smiling fondly seeing Jamie so enthralled with his tattoos.

“Good, here’s a few more dosages of his pain meds he shouldn’t have any until at least 2:00 am.” The doctor explained and then handed the bottle to Phoenix.

Phoenix nodded and slipped it into his pocket, “Thank you.” The doctor nodded and excused himself out of the room.

“Alright Jay, let’s get you home.” Phoenix gingerly wrapped his arm around Jamie’s waist guiding him to stand as Jamie just let his head flop against Phoenix’s shoulder and close his eyes.

“Alright then.” Phoenix fondly whispered watching as Jamie closed his eyes and seemed to try to sleep on Phoenix.

Phoenix led them through the arena and out the back exit that never has any cameras and luckily Jamie doesn’t have his car here yet so Phoenix drives them around.

Phoenix walked them to his car and unlocked it and opened the passenger door, he gently guided Jamie into the seat and clipped his seatbelt for him.

Phoenix looked up and saw Jamie’s head flopped to the side and little snores leaving his mouth and Phoenix softly smiled.

Phoenix quietly closed the passenger door and walked around the car and hoped into the drivers side.

Phoenix smiled fondly seeing Jamie looking so soft as he is fast asleep.

Phoenix went the long way home not wanting to wake up Jamie until he had too. He may of continued to drive the long way multiple times so Jamie could keep sleeping and Phoenix really did not want to wake up Jamie if he didn’t have to.

Phoenix eventually pulled into the parking garage after a few hours of just driving around letting Jamie sleep in the car. He shut the car and hoped out of the drivers aide and walked around the car and opened the passenger door and he remorsefully had to shake Jamie awake.

“Hey sleepyhead.” Phoenix softly spoke seeing Jamie slowly wake up and stare at him. “Let’s get you home.” Phoenix gently helped a very tired Jamie out of the car. Jamie was just holding on to Phoenix as Phoenix led them to their apartment and holding up on Jamie as he did.

Phoenix opened the door and walked them in and shut the door behind him. He led them down the hallway and opened Jamie’s bedroom and gently helped Jamie lay down on his bed and Phoenix made sure all the pillows were perfect for Jamie to get some sleep.

He looked at Jamie once more and fixed the blanket that is covering Jamie before he turned to leave to let Jamie sleep.

“Wait.” Jamie softly spoke barely opening his eyes. Phoenix quickly turned around, “Could you stay?” Jamie soflty questioned and if he wasn’t so tired and on strong pain medication he would never of had the courage to ask his crush that.

Phoenix blinked in shock but nodded and walked around the bed and sat down on the other side of the bed.

Jamie slowly turned his head to his long time crush not that he would admit that, “Thank you Nix.” Jamie softly spoke his words slurring from him still being half asleep. Jamie has never had anyone take such care of him with so much softness and was jealous that he has never got to have Phoenix take care of him before because he’s perfect and that’s something Jamie is very appreciative of.

“It’s not a problem Jay.” Phoenix softly replied back and did not even realize he was bringing a hand up to gently brush Jamie’s hair away from his forehead and Jamie made a happy sound and pushed more into Phoenix’s hand.

Phoenix blinked in shock but kept his hand there as Jamie seemed to like it and gently began running his fingers through Jamie’s hair.

Phoenix watched as Jamie fell fast asleep and he gently removed his hand from his hair ignoring the pang of disappointment.

Phoenix pulled out his phone to send a quick to text to his baby brother to let him know Jamie is okay because he knows Trevor is definitely freaking out and extremely worried for Jamie.

Phoenix put his phone on the nightstand before resting his head on the pillow and slowly took a deep breath and was filled with the scent of Jamie from the pillow.

Phoenix fell asleep so fast in Jamie’s bed that he didn’t even realize he was still in his suit from the game.

introducing phoenix

Phoenix Zegras the first born of Julie and Gary Zegras, the oldest of his three younger siblings. Phoenix is a quiet person and just likes his own space but his three siblings are his favorite people.

Phoenix and Trevor are completely opposites but Trevor has always looked up to his older brother. When they were younger Trevor would only calm down or sleep if he was next to Phoenix. Phoenix is one of the few people who never minds listening to all of Trevor yapping.

Phoenix and Griffin have always been more similar in personality and enjoy just sitting with each other in silence.

Phoenix was very happy when he was told he was getting a sister this time instead of another brother. Phoenix has always been the safe space for Ava and extremely comforting to Ava her whole life.

Phoenix had met Quinn Hughes when he joined the program and the two became fast friends and defense partners, Phoenix and Quinn are both very similar in personality they just clicked. They also introduced their families to each other and that’s how Trevor and Jack met and become best friends.

Jack always liked to let everyone know that Phoenix was his favorite Zegras, Jack growing up just always thought Phoenix was so cool and wanted to be more like him.

Phoenix joined a year after Nolan has joined the team and the two got close pretty fast, they were both quite similar in personality that they just clicked and Phoenix became just as close with Travis as well.

Phoenix and Travis had each other when Nolan left and it definitely brought them even closer together. Phoenix and Travis really became each other best friends with Nolan leaving, Phoenix became the godfather of Travis first born.

Phoenix had met Cam because of Trevor and when Cam joined the team Phoenix kinda took Cam under his wing and they played as defense partners a lot, Cam had joined right after his collegiate season ended so he stayed with Phoenix for the rest of the NHL season.

Morgan is like a ball of sunshine and he always reminds Phoenix of Trevor, the two became close and Morgan loves he can yap as much as he wants and Phoenix will listen.

Trevor wanted his big brother to meet Jamie, so he immediately had them meet within a few months of Trevor and Jamie playing together. It was a brief meeting but Phoenix could tell Jamie was a good friend for Trevor and glad Trevor had someone in Anaheim.

Trevor noticed how Jamie just always seemed red around Phoenix and no matter how much Trevor pushed Jamie about the subject, Jamie never confessed anything.

March 15, 2024

Phoenix let out a breath as he has been pacing around his room for the last hour trying to figure out how to tell Trevor.

Phoenix flopped back onto this bed letting out a frustrated groan and pulled out his phone and facetimed Trevor.

“Nixie!” Trevor beamed as he anwsered the call, his face shifted into concern seeing Phoenix’s nervous face, “Is everything alright?”

Phoenix pursed his lips and looked at the screen nervously, “I uh may have feelings for someone.” Phoenix trailed off.

“You do! Who?” Trevor gasped and looked shocked he’s never seen his brother have romantic feelings for anyone before and he hopes it’s Jamie.

“Don’t be mad.” Phoenix rushed out, “It’s Jamie.” Phoenix watched as Trevor froze in shock.

“OH MY GOD!” Trevor yelled happily his face in a large smile, “You like Jimmy!” Trevor smiled widely.

“You’re not mad?” Phoenix looked confused at his baby brother’s reaction.

“Of course not! Jimmy and me can become brother in laws.” Trevor smirked having hoped that his brother would like Jamie one day.

“That’s if he even likes me.” Phoenix fondly rolled his eyes at Trevor.

“Well of course he does.” Trevor shrugged, “Jimmy won’t admit but he’s been crushing on you since he met you.” Trevor told Phoenix.

“He has?” Phoenix asked hopefully.

“Oh yeah and he asked for permission to like you alreadly so i know he likes you.” Trevor reassured his brother, he knew Jamie probably didn’t want him to tell Phoenix but Trevor knew that is Phoenix knows Jamie likes him back he will make a move.

“Huh.” Phoenix mumbled slowly nodding thinking of an idea.

“Let me know how it goes?” Trevor cheekily smiled knowing Phoenix will ask out Jamie.

“I will.” Phoenix nodded, “And Trev thank you.” Phoenix appreciated that Trevor was cool with his best friend and brother liking each other and maybe getting together in the future.

“Of course.” Trevor just shrugged it off.

January 8, 2024

Phoenix was laying in bed about to fall asleep when he heard his phone ring and he only has few people that will ring if he turned his notifications off, Phoenix sat up rubbing his face grabbing his phone and saw it was Trevor.

“Trev?” Phoenix asked as he anwsered the call and Trevor didn’t immediately speak.

“Nix.” Trevor breathed out as he sat on the floor of his hotel room, where he may of been sitting to cry.

“Hey buddy.” Phoenix spoke softly as he could tell something was wrong with Trevor.

“Jamie got traded.” Trevor choked out feeling more tears fill his eyes.

Phoenix’s eyes widen as he realized why his baby brother was upset, “Where?” Phoenix questioned.

“To you.” Trevor answered, the only good thing about the whole trade was at least Jamie was going to be with Phoenix.

“He is?” Phoenix asked shocked as he put his phone on speaker and looked at his team group chat and saw the trade was in the chat but he didn’t see it.

“Yeah, will you take care of him?” Trevor asked softly.

“Of course Trev.” Phoenix softly promised to his younger brother, “I’ll take care of him.” Phoenix knew how important Jamie is to Trevor.

“Thank you.” Trevor wiped his tears off his face, “I uh got to get going but thank you Nix.” Trevor was gonna spend as long as he could with Jamie before he left for his flight.

“Of Course, I love you Trev.” Phoenix softly smiled.

“I love you too Nix.” Trevor smiled softly before hanging up the call.

Phoenix let out a breath as the call ends and immediately started letting the team know that he will pick up Jamie in the morning and he can stay with him because he has many guest rooms in his penthouse for his family when they visit.

January 9, 2024

Phoenix rolled over shutting off his alarm and he leaned up running a hand through his blonde curls, he stood up grabbing a shirt pulling it on and his black zip up, he slipped on a pair of sneakers.

Phoenix walked through his penthouse grabbing his keys before heading out of his house, He walked to the elevator and went the parking garage level. Phoenix walked out and walked to his car and hoped into the drivers seat.

Phoenix drove the drive to the airport and waited in the pick up area.

Phoenix had been barely waiting before he saw the black hair that he knows is Jamie, “Jamie!” Phoenix called out as he watched as Jamie’s head turned to him and smiled slightly.

“Hi.” Jamie whispered as he walked over to Trevor’s brother, his eyes had dark circles and were red from crying.

“Hi.” Phoenix gave him a smile being able to tell he is upset.

“Thank you.” Jamie soflty spoke looking up towards him. He was to emotionally and physically exhausted to even think about how pretty Phoenix looked right now.

“No worries.” Phoenix softly smiled back and moved to take the suitcase as Jamie let him, Phoenix loaded his bags into the back of the car as Jamie got into the Passenger seat.

“You hungry?” Phoenix asked as his right hand went to the back of the passenger seat to look in the back mirror, Jamie inhaled sharply but shook his head.

“Yeah.” Jamie nodded having eaten since before he got the news of the trade.

“Good, You like pancakes?” Phoenix smiled slightly as he started driving them back towards his penthouse.

“Mhm.” Jamie hummed as he looked outside the window looking around his new city.

Phoenix nodded and let the car be in peaceful silence as he drove them to one of his favorite little food places.

Phoenix pulled into the parking spot turning the car off and hoping out of the car, Jamie got out of the car following Phoenix into the small little diner, Phoenix smiled at the waitress as she led them to a smaller booth in a corner of the diner.

Jamie and Phoenix both order the pancakes and waited for their food to come out.

“Thank you for letting me stay with you on such short notice.” Jamie thanked Phoenix again and really he has made the trade a lot easier for Jamie already.

“Of course, i have the room. And don’t rush to find an apartment just settle in.” Phoenix smiled and kindly offered. Jamie smiled softly with his cheeks bright red.

The waitress brought them their food and left them to eat, Jamie took a bite of his pancakes and felt his eyes widen in shock, “Oh my!” Jamie looked up at Phoenix shocked, that the pancakes were that good.

“Right?” Phoenix smirked slightly remembering when he came there for the first time and had the pancakes having the same reaction as Jamie.

The two ate in comfortable silence, “You know it’s werid not having Trevor talking as we eat.” Jamie brought up as he set his silverware down, Jamie got so use to eating ever meal with Trevor and always listening to him talking.

“Yeah, it’s still weird for me too.” Phoenix fondly smiled remembering how odd it was when he first moved away and ate in silence and not with Trevor’s voice.

Phoenix has always appreciated how good of friend Jamie is to his little brother, especially since Phoenix noticed that Jamie let’s Trevor talk as much as he wants and that is something that most people never let Trevor do.

“My treat.” Phoenix gave Jamie a stern look when he went to grab the check, Jamie reluctantly put his hand back and let Phoenix pay. The two stood up and started walking out of the dinner, “Thank you.” Jamie smiled softly as they got to the car.

Phoenix nodded and smiled before hopping into the drivers seat and starting the car.

Phoenix drove them to his apartment building, parking in his parking spot and shutting the car off, Phoenix got out of the car grabbing Jamie’s bags from the back of the car.

Phoenix led Jamie through the lobby and into the elevator to one of the top floors of the building and walking to his door.

Phoenix opened the door to his penthouse letting Jamie in, Phoenix started walking through the penthouse showing Jamie around before he led him to one of the guest rooms that has the biggest bathroom and closet.

“It’s kinda bare but we can change anything you want.” Phoenix offered as he set down Jamie’s bags in the room, Jamie nodded still looking a little overwhelmed, “Hey why don’t you take a nap or just settle in we still have a good few hours before we have to head to practice, i’ll come let you know.” Phoenix softly smiled at Jamie being able to tell he’s still a bit overwhelmed and Phoenix gently squeezed his hand on Jamie’s shoulder before walking out of the room closing the door behind him.

Jamie looked out the windows of the view of the city before he slipped off his shoes and plopped onto the bed and could feel himself relaxing on the extremely comfortable bed and started falling asleep.

The Zegras family expect Gary were all sitting around their dining room table eating dinner after a long day of school, day care or work.

“And Ryan got this really cool-“ Trevor was rambling happily about his day at school while shoving food into his mouth.

“Trev, could we be quiet for dinner please?” Julie looked over at her very talkative son who had just recently turned six, she was trying to feed her daughter who was not even two yet and she had a headache and her husband wouldn’t be home for a few days.

Trevor’s shoulder slumped and he nodded sadly looking down at his plate pushing his food around.

Phoenix frowned slighty hating how everyone always makes Trevor stop talking, he leaned over to his little brother, “Will you tell me the rest after dinner?” Phoenix asked with a smile always enjoying listening to Trevor talk.

Trevor’s head snapped up and he was beaming nodding quickly. Trevor’s favorite person has always been his big brother who just lets him be himself.

They finished dinner and Julie picked up Griffin and Ava going to head to the bathroom and get them bathed, “Could you get the dishes Nix?” Julie asked her oldest who has always been such an incredible help especially when Gary is gone for work trips, Phoenix is an incredible help.

“Course Mom.” Phoenix smiled nodded, Julie gave him a smile and kissed the top of his head and pressed a kiss to Trevor’s head before walking down the hallway with her two youngest.

“Come on Trevie, tell me about your day.” Phoenix encouraged his brother as he started picking up the dishes off the table.

Trevor smiled exicted standing up grabbing his plate following his big brother, “So Ryan he got this really cool toy!”

Phoenix smiled as he started loading the dishwasher listening to his little brother.
