Steve and I went for a walk around our garden. I showed him the guava tree and told him he can have some of those leaves for breakfast tomorrow. 💚💚💚💚 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤 #stickinsect #insect #crownstickinsect #insects #nature #phasmid #stickinsects #insectsofinstagram #phasmatodea #entomology #bugs #stickinsectsofinstagram #phasmids #animals #insectphotography #wildlife #invertebrate #naturelovers #photography #phasme #terrarium #bug #insectlovers #leafinsect #phasmiden #perfection #bugslife #australia #australian (at Gold Coast, Queensland) https://www.instagram.com/p/CcKafwWp7pm/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Three Weeks of Buggy friends!
I think at this point it’s almost a bit recording for me here from the day they arrived too rn. My bug friends has been doing pretty good! Made some good ol cleaning today and wet to fetch new food, that of course gave me the chance to see them all the better in one place. The Phasmiden have grown SO MUCH since they arrived here. Like, when they arrived I put a bobby pin in the glass door because one of the smallest once would have been small enough to get trough this mm gap (Or I worried it could) and now they are SO BIG. Of course they still got a lot of growing to do but they are almost big enough to be moved into their big Enclosure. (Multiply times the volume of what they have now) I’m excited to do that but for now the have a comfy smaller home.
the Perus are doing just as well. little hard to see in the second Picture because they hide and my phone camera didn’t do a good job. But they have been eating a pooping and doing all the bug things they are supposed to do lmao. The adult pairs have been starting to mate as well so whenever I clean or look inside in the morning I find eggs. Keeping them ofc to hatch more bug friends in future. Needs some patience and I should probably already start soon to do so considering the lifespan and incubation time is nearly the same (going from the males lifespan at least)
ANYWAYS. TL;dr Happy bugs, happy me, Leaning lots of buggy things.
