Hello! I was wondering if anyone's interested in a discord server for PetPals! I wish the community had a better way of communicating, the game feels a little lonely sometimes.
Keep in mind the main focus isn't trading/selling, but there will be space for that kind of thing of course! The focus however is on making friends and building a more tight-knit community 🩷
Hey Newlys! It's Kenya and this is the first episode of my Married with Pets Series, where we can all share stories about our pet additions to the family. In this video I’ll be talking about 5 steps to help you decide whether you and your spouse should even get a pet. So, let’s get into it.
Step 1: Decide together whether you BOTH want a pet!
Step 2: Decide what kind of pet you should get.
Step 3: Count up the costs.
Step 4: Figure out who does what.
Step 5: Decide gender and how many?
All this information is not meant to scare you out of getting a pet! I just want you to make a sensible decision that adds to your marriage, instead of takes away. Our lizard babies add to the adventure that is my marriage with my husband. Are you and your spouse considering getting a pet? What kind? Or if you have a pet already, tell us something about your pet baby!
I know my posts don't get a lot of likes, but I need to tell you this. My best friend's parents got her a puppy who is a sweetheart and was good with dogs, even trained. A while back her parents 'dog attacked her dog, Millie, and she became reactive. She was still sweet with people, just feared dogs. While my friend was getting stuff sorted, her dad let Millie out to try and connect with their dog. Millie then bit their dog who was showing signs of wanting to attack her so while my friend was away they took Millie back to the shelter they got her from since she was still in their name because she was a gift. My friend can't get her back because she needs to own a house in order to have her. She has tried to get her back and explained the situation, but they can't allow it because a house is needed. Her dog is still in the shelter. The shelter posted her but it hasn't gotten much attention. If you can please talk to anyone near or in St. Pete Florida about a 9 month pitbull that is not dog friendly but people friendly please help. She is in Petpal animal shelter as it shows in the photo. Even reposting this will help, my friend is absolutely devastated in not being able to get her back and is currently trying for a house, however she doesn't want her baby to stay in the shelter for so long. If possible even go to the insta page, PetPal animal shelter and liking her image and commenting will boost it, please.

Finally finished Divinity Orignal Sin II - I swear i kept coming back to this game like a battered wife. It was the worst kind of gaming experience...in a sense that that the highs were as high as the lows were low. When the game was amazing, the hours flew by unnoticed. When it was annoying, I was so done I started murder-hoboing everything and that's not the way I usually experience RPGs.
The good: Definitely companions and companion questlines - the game is worth experiencing for that alone. The world is colorful and interesting and awards exploration. I liked the environmental puzzles in this one way more than in DOS1.
The neutral: Story is okay, the narrative tone and how you experience NPCs could dial down the whimsy by 15-20% and I would've been more into it. But that's my personal taste.
The bad: Man the fights dragged for me. :( I don't mind turn-based tactical combat, gods know I played 99% of Wrath of the Righteous in tactical mode and it was awesome! But here the turns take ages and I just don't have the patience and time for it, especially when I need a couple attempts to win. Halfway through ACT 2 I just switched to Story mode and never looked back. The difficulty of Classic mode is above what the casual gamer is used to, definitely above what I was used to.
Beyond that there were a few issues I had with the game - but these can be dealt with if you implement the official mods available in Definitive edition...if you don't mind not getting the achievements during the playthrough. I chose to play without mods:
The inventory is probably the worst one I've ever seen in a RPG. Good luck finding anything. There are some filters but the sheer volume of things you carry makes it difficult to pinpoint that One Thing. You swear you saw it, but where is it?
The game doesn't bottleneck your choices when it comes to character creation... BUT if you don't take the PetPal talent you can't talk to animals and miss good chunk of the content. Also if your main character doesn't have the persuasion skill you are doomed to always talk to NPCs with the companion who does, or else you might be locked out of quest threads or fight everybody who happens not to be an ally.
The quest journal...I got used to it, but it could've been better. Especially in act 2 when you have over 20 active quests, the same as with the inventory, difficult to find anything.
Overall I enjoyed the game, but I don't see myself replaying it in the near future...and when I finally do, it will be mostly for the companions I didn't pick during this playthrough.
