Apotheosis is insane because it's two people who have this intense sense of purpose and fully believe that they are called to do this mission. They each have an outside force, a creator or a vision, that gave them this purpose. They believe it to be inevitable. Everything they do is about making that vision, that calling, a reality. And then they both throw their principles away in order to give the most pathetic wet cat of a man imaginable the powers of a god.
