Some days in class I spend 3 hours reading mental health legislation. Other days I uncover deeply repressed memories of when I was terrified I’d be the murder part of a murder/suicide. Studying Mental Health always keeps things exciting.

Yes, it’s about distributing power in a different way and while this is an end in itself it’s also a means to more productive, enjoyable and healthy organisations.”

“For us, peer-working does not mean doing away with power or leadership. Rather it means consciously taking note of where and how power operates and checking whether that’s how we want it to work. We are all of equal value and we all have an equal voice, but some have more experience, or are subject experts, somehave a very detailed view of the specifics while others have an overview of the whole. All this needs to be taken into account.”
