All the designs were created by Patrick Moriarty of Southend-on-Sea, UK. He drew the designs on paper and then finalized them with Adobe Photoshop. Customers worldwide make their own beautiful products or garments with the fabrics. Alternatively they buy read-made products and fashion accessories from the PaisleyPowerShop. Patrick makes hand-made scarves, cushions, pillowcases, pocket squares, tea towels, bandanas, posters, totes, clasp bags and pouch bags.

This purple paisley design was drawn on paper by UK designer Patrick Moriarty in 2018. Then he scanned his drawings and created a digital file using Photoshop. He launched the fabric and Prince-inspired products in January 2019. He has sold hundreds of products made with the fabric as part of his Paisley Power brand.

Beth in Coventry has ordered a yard of Paisley Prince Songbook fabric. 2 anonymous customers on Spoonflower website have ordered a yard each of the same printed cotton. Vinh in Florida has ordered 7 Prince-theme fabric samples from the Paisley Power textile collection. Thanks to Isla, Scarlett and Aimee who came to my Designing Printed Textiles workshop. It was held at Metal Art School, Southend-on-Sea last night. It was a very enjoyable productive evening. They will be receiving their large free fabric samples of their designs from Spoonflower printers in 10 days time. I have 20 years experience in the fashion and textile industries. I like to share my knowledge and skills with people who want to learn the basic of textile design. It has been bought by hundreds of customers all over the world. Etsy has 39 million buyers. My "Paisley Rats" design, which I originally drew by hand on paper, is my most popular design. I have the design printed on fabric and have hand-made products made with the fabric in my home town of Southend-on-Sea by a sewing tutor. I have lots of different styles of bags with my rat print on them. The zip bags are small handy gifts for people to give their family and friends as presents. This version of the zip bag has a sky-blue lining and an indigo cotton back. The front of the bag has the black and white Paisley Rats printed on luxurious satin. One of the bags is heading off to a new customer in Merseyside and the other 5 bags in the photos will be on sale at the Beecroft Art Gallery, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, UK.

Launching a new design takes a lot of effort, especially when there are also the designs of 25,000 other designers on the Spoonflower website.  So I’m very pleased that my new design PAISLEY POSITIVITY is starting to get noticed. In the last few days, 4 different versions have been bought or ordered by customers: the white & mushroom version, the olive & white version, the aubergine version, and the light blue & white version. Lori Wallis Design has bought a yard of the Palm Leaves Tropical fabric (white/black version) designed by Patrick Moriarty. She chose to have the design printed on a base fabric called Organic Sweet Pea Gauze.

In February 2019 an interior designer in Chicago bought 38 yards of this white/black version of the Palm Leaves design. He chose to have the design printed on Linen Cotton Canvas.
