Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays are a bore. A tedious thing, headache inducing, dull affair. The nine to five will kill ya, BUT if you make it; if you manage to survive the seemingly endless ordeal...then my friend, comes the fruit of your labor. The glorious fling begins at midnight so prepare and rejoice for we must celebrate in grand fashion! OH YES! Make a whole spectacle of it! Greek philosopher and founder of the Cyrenaic school of hedonism, Aristippus, taught us the ethic of pleasure. He believed that human behavior is determined by desires to increase joy while decreasing or avoiding pain, as these are the only things that motivate us. I’m not making this up, it all goes back to the 4th century BCE! The witching hour calls my name and I eagerly answer its cry. Delight, ecstasy, euphoria, perhaps a bit of schadenfreude every now and then. Let’s party and make merry for life’s a circus and (if I'm being honest) you’re lucky to just be a part of the show!

So irritated with crazy people right now. My poor baby Goober went to his new family Friday evening. I dont know what they did to him but they called me last night and said he is nothing like I described. Said he wouldnt stop crying and that he couldn't even walk. That I was trying to scam them and there was alot of yelling by this women, i dont even want to go into detail about. Me I was desperately concerned with one thing. What was wrong with my baby!!?? They just finaly brought him to the vet didnt even come in just handed him to me in the parking lot and left. My poor boy has goopy crusty eyes, was shaking all over and was crying continuously. Vet cant find anything physically wrong with him, oh and he can walk just fine. It took me an hour to get him to stop shaking and crying. He is home now giving everyone kisses, he had a snack and is running around like he never left. Its So sad that he cant tell me what happened to him, why he was so freaked out and upset. Just happy that he is back with us safe, he is a great little pig and I explain very clearly to everyone that having a pet pig is not like a dog or cat its like a perpetual toddler. They are very demanding, mischievous, can be destructive if not unsupervised , they like a set schedule, they get fussy when they are tired, fussy when they are hungry and are known to throw ear splitting tantrums if they dont get what they want. I have never and will never sugar coat being a piggy parent. I regularly tell people they need a dog or cat , not a pet pig. I have told a few people to get a fish! Its extra sad when the piglet is so disturbed by being away only 70 hours.
