With its theme: Connection and motion: embracing diversity through social threads. "A night of fun and camaraderie".
Tumblr media
The highlight was the Spooky hallway event, where were filled with scary decorations. some of the students wear scary costumes that makes the event extra spooky. The USC officers respected the belief of others who did not practice or celebrate halloween and instead wear black and white outfits.
In celebrating this momentous ceremony which is a halloween party, i wear a simple outfit. This outfit perfectly and unique. l chose it to embrace the spooky hallway event. Everyone walked on the red carpet to welcoming path for every student. "This moment is very fun and always to be remembered".

In the case of the student, they also gave a certificate and a message to the student and after that they will have a party. Through the induction ceremony, we also witnessed the farewell speech given by our newly elected USC President. This ceremony holds great significance of responsibility of a new chapter for the student leaders, and give tribute to the others for the passion and love for the University.
Tumblr media
The night we enjoyed the rest of the event. Loud music and also all crimson is very enjoyable. We pour our hearts into singing along to the music.

The Unexpected Journey
I have endured such challenges in life, everyone has a story, so heres mine. Ive been travelling for a quite a long time now
Moving to pagadian was a turning point of my life, I was a child who visited her home town  it just felt like known place for me meeting my faimly, relatives, neighbors, it was intimidating at first, but my mother told me that adjusting to a new place always takes time and took her advice to look at the bright side
There where times my sister used to set me up in meeting new people but i just did not want to open up it was all new for me.
After a week I learned to talk to them and try to communicate with them even if dont really understand me that well and well also I dont even understand them either
Pagadian to bayan Journey is the most exciting and most enjoyable experience of my life. I remember when I was travelling to Bayan with the sister of mine. cousin were the add ons to my excitement. Travelling  together and we enjoyed the most in those hours.
It was the summer of 2015 the weather is so humid as city full of Tree and theres a majestic view of Palayan.
But I still dont have any idea why we have to move from the city to province, different town with different cultures and history. Its scary and fascinating at the same time.
Life itself is an unexpected journey. We plan our weeks and days and more often than not, we come across something totally unexpected which displaces the balance of the plan we had already set up. But that's life, it is an unexpected Journey.
The journey reveals who you are and what you are made of.
For many people, discovering their purpose along the journey is the real success. It is not until they are faced with challenges and obstacles that they often discover what their true purpose is, and why they are on the journey.
And this is how it started We used to travel  from one place to another not becuase we have that that kind of money but in other way around.
If you ask me, its not easy to move from house to house, staying in a place where you cannot make friends because you know someday you'll move to one another.
We all knew that our house is symbolic of ourselves, our safe haven from the outside world, which is why it is so hard to leave and start all over again.
One sunny day when Me and my Mom along with my sister was walking to the airport. off to my Mom's Hometown, were she used to live when she was young. I got curious What happened when she was young.
Iwhy do we need to move, from time to time whenever she had a chance? I asked her.
I Asked her Once if she had told me everything there was to know, about her adventure. Before she decided to make a family on her own.
She aswered me. Its because i want to show you the world so that even when you move yo another place, another country you should try to adjust and live.
Someday youll have your own family, Your kids are watching to see how you handle life and how you handle things you didn't see coming. Expecting the unexpected will allow both you and your child to see life with less anxiousness, less fear, and less depression. Because, if you see life as an adventure, your kids will too.
surprising, because you did not expect it at all, or you expected it to happen in a different way.
It was an unforgettable moment; around us buildings shook as explosions ripped through the night air. It was an unforgettable moment.
Every person has a different experience, a different destination and itineraries to tick off. However, it's a journey that we must learn to savour, cherish and treasure. Everyone has a different meaning to their journey as well. Life's journey is filled with roadblocks and achievements but we must savour every bit.
Now I know that life alone is a journey , Life's journey sometimes takes us on unexpected paths. There are twists and turns in the road that none of us can anticipate. But with each of these twists and turns there is also opportunity.

BALITANG NASYONAL: Suspect in Tagum City faces Multiple Charges following Public Shaming on Social Media, who brazenly attacked between Pastors and Families
Tumblr media
TAGUM, DAVAO DEL NORTE -- A male suspect identified as Don Manungas has been accused of a series of violent acts against a senior citizen and individuals in Sison Subdivision, Brgy. Magugpo South, Tagum City, Davao Del Norte. The suspect, allegedly involved in cases ranging from physical injuries to trespassing and grave coercion, has sparked outrage among residents in the area.
The severity of the accusations against Mr. Manungas has led to a concerted effort by concerned citizens to bring attention to his actions. One such individual (Aurelio Gracias), a local netizen and victim, took matters into his own hands by streaming a LIVE video on Facebook (owned by Meta Platforms Inc.), showcasing the alleged perpetrator's acts.
In a deleted Facebook LIVE video, per obtained by Gracias, which quickly gained traction online, Gracias detailed the disturbing incidents involving Mr. Manungas, citing instances of physical assault and even potential child abuse related to property disputes. The footage, shared widely across social media platforms all across the local media of Tagum, served as a call to action for local authorities to address the escalating situation.
Among the victims mentioned in the said social media platform on LIVE video are members of the Parreño family, including Pstr. Vic Aurelio and his father, Pstr. Carlos Parreño. Additionally, a senior citizen grandmother named Ms. Florencia Parreño was reportedly targeted by Mr. Manungas, allegedly subjected to aggressive physical attacks involving punches and the use of a steel bar as a weapon.
The gravity of the allegations prompted swift responses from local law enforcement and community leaders. Authorities have since launched investigations into the reported incidents, with Mr. Manungas facing multiple charges in connection to his alleged actions.
The suspect's exposure on social media has triggered debates about the role of online platforms in ensuring individuals are held responsible for their conduct. While some admire Gracias for drawing attention to the matter, others worry about the morality of publicly condemning individuals before they have faced legal charges or a local trial.
Despite the controversy surrounding the deleted LIVE-streamed video on Facebook, many residents of Tagum City remain steadfast in their demand for justice. Community members have called for stronger measures to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable populations, particularly senior citizens who may be at risk of similar attacks in the future.
As the investigation into Don Manungas continues, authorities are calling upon anyone who possesses information related to the case to step up and assist in the pursuit of justice. This incident serves as a solemn reminder of the utmost importance of remaining alert and fostering a strong sense of community solidarity in order to effectively tackle issues of domestic violence and abuse within their local Tagumerunon neighborhoods.

Induction of USC and Socialization in WMSU Pagadian
On November 3, 2023 I have my best experience being a freshman in WMSU Pagadian. During this time of the month was the turnover of the newly elected student council In WMSU. They are being introduced as they take their oath taking ceremony with Ma’am Ricohermoso the Campos administrator. I wish I cloud be one of the USC officers one day. Then after that it was followed by classroom officers turn to take the oath of responsibility.  The USC officers was responsible for being able to organized such astonishing event, though this event was the 2nd time during the Academic year 2023-2024, but this time it was actually fun, because everybody got to enjoy the event at night time.
Tumblr media
This event was also called post-Halloween party and socialization night because it was held right after the a short vacation where we were able to go home ang light some candles and remember our diseased. All of the Students are so excited and were looking forward to this event specially me, because we were able to dressed-up in Halloween costume with our favorite characters or any improvised or original spooky costume.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is me; my dress was reused, I wore this dress during the prom of my senior high school, from Gilts and Gram theme from prom to Halloween
We were able to walk in the red carpet showcasing everyone unique, beautiful and diverse costumes.
After the red carpet walk, we were given the chance to explore the haunted house prepared by the USC I wasn’t too spooky for my liking but I enjoyed it with my friends in hand some was so scared and some were just in for the fun.
Tumblr media
(Hi! friends)
Just as we emerged from the exit of the haunted house was it followed by the Oath Taking of the new elected USC officers and classroom officers. But during this time, it was time for the dance contest everyone was excited and the dancers from all contingent was so talented.
Tumblr media
My department which is BSED-Eng got the 3rd place in the dance competition. I was so proud of them. But during this time, I was already so nervous because I also have to perform in the singing contest, It was so exciting that I was given the opportunity to perform and got the 2nd place. The song was Bring me to life by Evanescence
My BSED-Eng 1 family was being so supportive and thank you ate Jasmine for capturing this moment. Though it was not my best performance and still need improvements, but I'm glad I didn’t backed-out. It was a blast.
Then after the singing contest we listen to the horror story telling, this is where I got the chill, I was never fun of horror stories.  The it was my friend Dennielle turn to tell a horror story.
Tumblr media
I was so proud of her that she was able to pull it of and got 3rd place. Just keep slaying queens!
Next come the triller short film. This is where that I felt that I should just go home already because of how scary it. The BSED-Eng department got the 1st place on this one.
The last part and was the most awaited part of the party was the socialization, students got the chance go dance in the dance floor with a full blast music.
Tumblr media
But my happiness was cut short because my mom called and said it was already passed my curfew.
It was the most memorable days in my life here in WMSU-Pagadian city and as a collage student. Hoping for more exciting days here.
 Until next time!

"An unfortunate child was born" (AUTOBIOGRAPHY)
From the depths of my mother's womb, I emerged into a world of cruelty, forged by an unfavorable environment and the weight of inadequate parenting. Like a fragile bud in a harsh storm, my weak immune system rendered me vulnerable to a multitude of diseases, such as the relentless grip of dengue. In that wretched place, even the simplest necessity, like pure water, proved elusive in my province, nestled within the heart of Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, Mindanao, Philippines.
Nourishment came in the form of bottled milk, a feeble substitute for the wholesome sustenance a child deserved. Alas, the water that accompanied it was tainted, drawn haphazardly from the faucet. Unbeknownst to me, this contaminated concoction set the stage for an ordeal I would soon face. As my body temperature soared, reaching heights unbeknownst to me before, my parents were nowhere to be found. Left in the care of my grandmother, I rested in my parents' bedroom while she busied herself in the distant kitchen.
Time pressed forward, and my fever raged unabated. I could endure the scorching sensation no longer; my mouth, like a simmering cauldron, frothed with bubbles. My mind, consumed by the agony of the moment, desperately sought aid. Feeble cries for help escaped my lips, yet my weakened voice echoed in a desolate void. In a mere five minutes, my strength waned, and I succumbed to unconsciousness.
At the appointed hour, my father returned from his toil at Jollibee, swinging open the bedroom door to reveal a scene of distress. He rushed toward me, his arms enveloping my frail form, and hastened to transport me to the closest sanctuary of healing. One hour and thirty-seven minutes passed, as the hands of time danced with excruciating slowness. Finally, a doctor from the hospital pronounced their verdict—a diagnosis of dengue, intertwined with the lurking presence of Amoebas. In their unholy union, they birthed torment, causing my stomach to convulse with anguish, while my body succumbed to an unyielding fever.
Yet, by some twist of fate, I emerged victorious in this grueling battle. A month-long odyssey of survival ensued, as the odds stood stacked against me. Born with an immune system feeble and wanting, I defied the norm and clung to life with unyielding tenacity. The essence of a normal existence paled in comparison; what truly mattered was my triumph against the odds, my conquest over adversity.

Dear God,
Thankful and blessed today. We woke up early with the help of my alarms and family. We prepared ourselves because we are going to Pagadian City, Mama’s hometown. I didn’t ate my breakfast and we left at 8AM plus. I continued sleeping in the car and I woke up at Tungawan. I removed some white hair of Ate Cheena. The tire of our car teared and Good samaritans help us to put new. They assisted Papa to change the tire. We continued traveling and we had our lunch at an eatery. The owner is a student at WMSU Agriculture. I was full after and I am happy that I was able to ate mango float again. We met Kuya JP and he was the driver going to Pagadian. Papa drive from Zamboanga City going to Ipil. How I miss traveling with my family. We had chit chats while on the road. Kuya JP showed Ate Cheena’s lot at Ipil. We passed by at Kumalarang to buy Bibingka which is one of my favorites. Ate Cheena was also happy to ate it again. And the price is still the same which is 5 pesos. I also sponsored our gasoline which is 5,000 php. We arrived at Pagadian City and we ate dinner at a restaurant. We were full after. Now we arrived at Mommy Ann’s residence and we had a little chit chats together with our cousin Kenneth. We also gave chocolates to Mommy Ann as a pasalubong. Since we are all tired, I am here in the room to take a rest. I scrolled my social media accounts, chatted my family and friends. I watched some vlogs and videos. I read few pages of the Bible. I drank my medicines. Have mercy on us Oh God. Guide us always to the right path. Remove sickness, danger and negative things in our life. Answer our prayers in your perfect time. Thank you and I love you God.
