Did I say JOSIAH is an attention whore? Give him a sliver of attention, and he eats that right up like it's his last meal on Earth. He loves bathing himself in your attention, and explicitly yours.

He recognised his feelings for you rather quickly and accepts these feelings. He thinks to himself, 'Who wouldn't like you?'

He also realised that if he really wanted to, he could kill for your attention as well...

Moving on. I'm not even gonna lie, he probably doesn't even tell you that he has established your relationship. The two of you hang out often at each other's houses/flats, you spend almost every second with each other, even your coworkers are suspecting something...you have feelings for him but haven't said anything; and he sure as hell hasn't said anything either...you think.

It happens when you're resting your head on his lap (platonically) while the two of you watch some movie. You look up at him and the question is just blurted out.

"Josiah, what exactly are we?" You ask, now pausing the television to get his full attention.

"What do you mean, man?" He really is confused, there is no sign of faux emotion in his voice or words; what are you on about this time? Carefully explain to him how abnormally close the two of you have been lately.

"Oh that. I told you way back that I liked you." He says it so casually; you have to rack your brain for the time he supposedly confessed to you. Now that you think of it, there are multiple times, you just brushed it off as him admiring your relationship as friends💀

Going off of this, he doesn't go all out on special occasions in your relationship. He will gift you stuff and trinkets on your anniversaries and birthdays, and take you out to some hole-in-the-wall restaurant; but he's a homebody. He wants to spend days like these with you alone. If it lands on a workday: "Babe, let's call in sick," he says, giving you a devilish smirk before going right back to bed.

Speaking of which, he's not opposed to the idea of moving in with you. He can be all up in your business, and this man has no idea what personal space is now!

I've said it in my general headcanons post, for the love of every holy entity in existence, do NOT let Josiah Nguyen near the kitchen. You're the one that cooks in this relationship; if you allow him to cook a meal for you, it's over. You're dead, and the house turned into ashes.

Maybe if you do a small step-by-step process of how to cook with him, he will get the hang of it; but it always turns into shit and giggles -- he likes fooling around rather than learning. If neither of you can cook, just get take-out :(；ﾞﾟ'ωﾟ'):

Josiah is a very calm guy, very rare is it for him to get into fights with you. If the two of you ever have a fallout, he usually talks to you in a soothing voice, trying to get the both of you to calm down.

During these disagreements, he gives himself and you some time to think and eventually reconcile. He may be childish, but he knows when to take this emotional stuff seriously. He can never bring himself to be hostile towards you in any way.

He can be very petty as well though. After a rather harsh fight, he'll throw passive aggressive comments at you, and you just give him the silent treatment.

Buckle up, this man is so very protective and possessive over you. His thought process is literally: "Why are you talking so much to Gavin lately? What does he have to say that's so important that it cuts time away from me?" For everyone else's safety, please just remind him that you ARE in a workplace, you need to do WORK-related things...

His typical date idea would be an outing to the arcade, and after that some take-out. He's not into the fancy, outgoing stuff (he will not be wining and/or dining you 😔). He hates upper-class places; they make him sick and nervous to his stomach.

DAMIAN is very old-school with love, playing by the book, and overall wanting to be the best boyfriend you will ever have. But to add on, he's still very shy -- you may have to be the first to initiate anything.

Just to clarify, this man believes wholly in "friends to lovers," you have to be his friend first before either of you confess your feelings. He doesn't trust just anyone to be vulnerable around.

In fact, takes a long time to process the fact that he's in love with you. At first, he shrugs it off and thinks it's just a little crush that he will get over eventually.

No. You're clogging his mind and he needs to be closer to you. You may see a change in his demeanour. He treats you extraordinarily better than others, and always makes an excuse to go to your cubicle.

But when it came to the confession, he decided that he would be the first to ask you out. He asks you casually while the two of you spend time together at his place. When I say casually, in his mind nothing about it felt casual. He spent the previous night practicing line after line to make sure not to screw anything up or scare you away.

"Y/N, I really have to get something off my chest," he begins. He eventually forgets his own lines and goes with whatever his heart tells him to say. "I like you. A lot, actually...and I'm hoping we can be something more than just friends. If you don't feel the same, it's okay. It's better to be your friend than nothing at all."

At this point, he doesn't really care if you say yes or no; he's just glad that that cat's out of the bag. He's very direct about the way he feels now, and he's 100% sure you're the one!

When you agreed to be his significant other, he nearly cried and mentally does a victory dance because you chose him over Nguyen -- this man hates Josiah more than anything but has to be nice to him because it keeps his professionalism in check and because the two of you are "besties."

As soon as the two of you are in a relationship, you realise how quickly he switches between professional and adoring/loving with you. As soon as you step foot into work, you two are nothing but coworkers; but once you're away, he is nothing but the best lover you can ever have.

He cares a lot about your well-being; and despite what is stated above, sometimes you'll receive an e-mail from him asking how you're doing. Are you overworked? Give all of those papers to him, he will deal with it. No, don't worry about him, focus on yourself, love.

While he treats you differently at work, he shows you how much he loves you through his actions. He will get you coffee, buy your lunch, and slip notes that proclaim his adoration for you in files he hands to you. He takes these moments to acknowledge how hardworking you are and takes into consideration how much you love each other.

Ice skating dates. At the rink, this man feels at peace. Don't know how to skate? Don't worry, dear, he will hold your hand through thick and thin. Interested in learning how to play hockey? Keep up, he's fast on the ice but he's a really good teacher too!

He also likes to take you out on night walks around the less populated areas of the city, where you can see the night sky perfectly. He likes how quiet and tranquil the moment is and is even happier that it's spent with you.

He keeps you far away from his parents. If you ever ask him to meet them, he's quick to tell you no. He hates his parents and doesn't want their criticisms to hurt you or your relationship with him.

But on the other hand, he will happily meet yours (if you allow it of course). He'll make sure to dress to the tens and he's sure he will impress them!

A fight with Damian is very rare. He understands both of your emotions, and won't even talk you through it. If you need some space, it's alright, he understands. He doesn't give up, but it's quiet between the two of you until he or you apologise.

He knows he can go to you for anything, and when everything is said and done, his greatest fall will always be his past. He looks to you for comfort and yes, he does cry in front of you. He feels a bit lost that he would never achieve his dream to join the hockey team because of his parents. Hold him in your arms and tell him your honest opinions, and that his dream will always be in reach.

And likewise, when you need to cry to him, his shoulder is always open to lean on. He treats you delicately, never wanting to be a cause for your tears. As said before, he wants to be best you will ever have, and he sticks to that.

EMERY loves taking things slow, your entire relationship is the definition of "slow burn romance," where they're some mysterious persona that you're desperately trying to get to know💀

Denies the fact that they like you at first, they're too busy to have these feelings for someone at the moment, being Junior Manager and all...They can't like anyone, you're just a distraction for them, an obstacle.

You're always stopping by the Finance Department because apparently one of their coworkers are having problems with their computer. Really, is it every day you have to come down to Finances? Or are you just there to converse with Emery?

But then they begin to look forward to these visits that you make, wanting to see you more often. This is where they finally understand that they need to tell you how they feel; but they're a lot more challenging to impress.

They wait for you to pop the question first. If they get tired of waiting, they will ask you first. By doing this, they don't have to feel embarrassed or ashamed by your rejection.

You finally take it upon yourself to ask them out. It's quite obvious that the two of you have feelings for each other, so...You took them out on lunch one day, telling them, "Stop eating in the storage closet all the time. I know a place; this one's on me." You point finger guns at them, and they only give you a thumbs up.

The two of you go to a cozy café, and you get a booth that is hidden from the rest of the facility. You have around thirty minutes to get your words out. When they hear your confession, they smile, "Why wouldn't I like you back?"

The two of you are definitely going matching tattoos and/or piercings. Is it your first one? Emery's right there to support you. If both of those scare you, you can watch them get a tattoo and be their moral support.

They love taking you on long drives, especially close to the coast. They have the windows rolled all the way down, music nearly kills their car's speakers from how loud it's playing, and they speed on wherever the road takes them.

They love doing your hair too! If they weren't employed at OSSOTEQ, they would definitely be a hairstylist. They like twisting and playing your hair while you complete mundane tasks, like work.

Fights with them aren't common, but they can go on for hours. They are very opinionated, stubborn, and persistent -- it can get frustrating. Of course, they apologise for their behaviour after getting some time to themselves, and they give you their undivided attention on top of that.

Both of you have your ups and downs, but they're sure to always make up for everything they say or do that may hurt you. They want to talk it out instead of having petty feelings towards you. Everything always works out in the end.

Another one who recognises his feelings for you, and as soon as GAVIN does, he does something about it quickly. He doesn't want to lose you to someone else. You're his fate!

He pulls out every romantic poetry he's studied in his free time, and handpicks the one that speaks all of his emotions towards you. He buys a large bouquet of flowers and a few healing crystals -- specifically ones used to manifest love and passion: rose quartz, pink topaz, garnet...

Researches the most scenic area nearby, and invites you to go there. He's treating this as if he was proposing to you. He has his plan of execution ready, and has nothing to lose!

When it comes to his confession, he holds both of your hands and gets down on both knees. He recites a poem by Pablo Neruda (y'all cannot tell me he doesn't read Neruda💀), specifically his "Love Sonnet XI." After finishing off his poem, he finally asks, "So, Y/N, will you consider me as not only your coworker, but your better half as well?" Purposefully uses complex words to impress you.

He's a fantastic boyfriend. He assists you with everything, comforts you through your darkest times, and is always there to lift you up. Most of the time, he focuses so much on you, he doesn't consider himself. He wants to be the best for you.

He's also very cliché. Your first kiss with him was literally in the pouring rain under a streetlight. Whenever the two of you do stuff like this, he falls for you harder.

I literally cannot see him getting in a fight with you, or having a reason to start one. He claims it "ruins his aura." But if you somehow do end up in a disagreement with Gavin, he's going to talk to you in hopes to fix everything. You mean everything to him, and he's not going to ruin your relationship because of a fight.

Loves taking you shopping, he's a gift giver. Expect flowers along with a small trinket on every anniversary and birthday. He wants to show you how much he loves you, and he does so through gifts and his romantic innuendos.

He likes bathing with you too. He'll light candles, lay rose petals around the bathtub and put your favourite scents into the water. He absolutely adores coming home on a Friday, and starting a bath for the both of you to sit in. He pops a bottle of wine; both of you talk and drink while in the tub.

When he gets his paycheque, he takes you out on small journeys around the world. Obviously not something too grand, but he'll take you to different countries for a few days. He loves practicing his languages this way. To add on, the both of you get matching trinkets/small gifts for each other.

In the future he wants to propose to you, and eventually start a family. He literally dreams about this everyday, and it pushes him to work harder at OSSOTEQ to achieve this dream ♡

He wants your romance to never end; the cliché where the both of you to grow old and sit in rocking chairs. No one can separate the two of you, not even death.

He can never get enough of you, and wants to be with you all the time. If you ever need anything, he's always at your beck-and-call. Depend on him, and he'll go out of his way to be by your side. 100% through thick and thin.

You will never get the confession out of ANNETTE; so take it in your own hands and confess to her yourself. She is very much oblivious to your advances at romancing her, it can take her weeks until she realises that you were flirting with her; or you have to depend on the other receptionist to tell it straight to her face that you were flirting.

When she finally gets the memo that you like her, she starts getting super excited. You?? Y/N L/N?? FROM IT?? LIKES HER?? She has to go to an empty meeting room to celebrate and does a stupid dance out of eagerness. Of course she likes you back! She can finally stop admiring you from the sidelines and be super close! Closer than all of those other IT guys 🙄

She loves taking you out to different book stores and libraries. She's a book fanatic! Whenever you ask to borrow some of her books, you can see where she annotates little reactions to parts of the story. If she sees characters that remind her of you, she has notes on that too; you can see, "This reminds me of Y/N!! ∩^ω^∩" in the margins of the page.

Stupidly obsessed with you, but not in a creepy way. She wants to know everything about you, and she follows you everywhere like a puppy dog.

Speaking of which, the two of you definitely get a pet to take care of together. She treats it like it's your child.

She loves baking with you!! Small goofy food fights happen, and she's determined to win. Don't let her demure appearance fool you, she has a lot of things hidden underneath.

She loves wearing your clothes too. She'll ask shyly to borrow your sweaters, jackets, hoodies, shirts. If you want to wear her stuff too, she'll give it to you right away!

Literally cannot go anywhere without giving you a hug and/or kiss goodbye. "Bye, Y/N, heading to the store!" SMOOCH!

If the two of you ever got into a fight, she starts breaking down. She doesn't like it when she upsets you and vise-versa. She doesn't talk to you for a few hours until she begins to miss you. She'll come up to you and apologise; but if it's your fault, she expects an apology as well. But fights are so rare with her, she's sensitive, and never wants to anger you.

You get to see all sides of her. At work, she displays herself as peppy; but with you, she's talkative and actually gossips a lot. She's a receptionist, she knows everything...

Loves to take you out along with Emery (my headcanon that the two are friends). The three of you are a nice little trio and inseparable. Emery is just a third wheel; they make fun of Annette often for not understanding your suave pick-up lines💀

I've been in bit of a slump this week and I just need something to boost my spirit. That being said, I was wondering if you could write something were Duncan or micheal comforts the reader and just makes them feel loved and it's wholesome and cute

Ahh sorry you’re not having the best week lil bug :-( lemme cheer you up real quick!

I’ve already written something sort of similar to this with Michael (here it is if u wanna read x), so I’ll do Duncan! It’s not long, but I put it under a cut because there’s a ton of dialog so it’s super spaced out and I don’t wanna clutter your dash!!

Maybe he sensed before he left for work this morning that you were acting kinda off-kilter, so he decided to come home on his lunch break to check on you. He brought bags of your favorite takeout restaurant and a gallon of your favorite ice cream with him as well. He was almost certain that it wasn’t your time of the month, but he came home prepared just in case because that’s the kind of boyfriend Duncan Shepherd is.

When he returned to his apartment, it appeared that you hadn’t even gotten out of bed. There were no new dishes in the sink apart from the coffee cup and spoon he’d used himself, the blanket was still strewn across the sofa from where you’d left it last night, and the tv wasn’t playing softly in the living room like you liked while you made breakfast each morning. Nothing but silence greeted him upon his arrival as he sat his grocery haul on the kitchen counter and made his way towards the bedroom that you two shared.

“Y/N?” he called out as he peeked his head around the corner of the door.

“Yeah?” you answered, lifting your own head from your pillow from where you were staring at the ceiling.

“Everything alright? You were acting kinda funny this morning, so I thought I’d come back and check on you. I brought food,” Duncan waved his hand towards the direction of the kitchen.

You shrugged back at him, feeling guilty that Duncan was worried about you enough to come all the way home from work to what was the matter.

“Just having a weird day,” you shrugged.

“Aaand why is that?” Duncan asked, pacing his way over to sit beside you on the edge of the bed.

“Don’t know. Just am.”

You wished he wouldn’t prod, but you knew Duncan. He was going to prod.

“Did something happen?”

“No, Duncan,” you retorted, a little snappier than you’d intended to.

“I’m fine. Go back to work.”

“Umm, no. You’re not fine,” he fired back, mocking the same tone you’d just used on him.

“You’re always out of bed before I leave for work. Plus, you’ve haven’t been acting yourself lately anyway.”

Why was he so good at reading you?

You were quiet, turning your attention back to the ceiling you were staring at before Duncan barged in unannounced.

“So I’ll take it that I’m right? Something is bothering you?”

“Duncan, please,” you begged, your voice cracking as tears instinctively welled up in the corners of your eyes.

“Just leave.”

“Ahh, well you see, princess, I’m not going to do that.”

Duncan stood up from the bed, fingers grabbing downward to remove his shoes and socks. He stripped all the way down to just the plain black boxer briefs he’d slipped on after his morning shower, then mosied out of the bedroom and into the long hallway that led to the living room and kitchen.

When Duncan returned, he held the large paper bag of takeout in his arms.

“My girl is sad, and I’m not leaving her side until I know she’s feeling better.”

“Won’t Annette be mad that you’re not coming back?”

“Eh,” he waved her comment away with a flick of his wrist.

“She’ll live. Plus, she owes me for the last 15 times I stayed overtime for her anyway.”

You hummed in response, feeling the bed dip as Duncan climbed under the covers beside you and began divvying out the warm platters of food from the back.

Duncan dug into his meal immediately, not wasting a second as he shoveled the food into his mouth with his fork.

“Are you stare at me all day or are you going to eat something?” Duncan asked, raising a quizzical brow in your direction.

“You don’t eat when you’re sad, and it’s not good for you. So eat. Before I make you.”

His comment earned a chuckle from you, but you felt a twinge in your heart when you realized Duncan even recognized that that was a trait you possessed. How many times had he seen you like this when you thought he didn’t notice? How many times did it take for him to pick up on your self-destructive behaviors?

You headed his warning, breaking your gaze at Duncan to fish around your plate for the perfect bite. It warmed your belly and soothed your soul, and the fact that Duncan knew that it would cheer you up made it taste ten times better.

Duncan stayed in bed with you all day. Literally. When you two were done with your food, he cast the empty containers on the nightstand beside him, noting to take it out with the trash later. He watched all of your favorite reruns and films, and not even the slightest of a complaint fell from his lips when you chose something you knew Duncan despised.

He tangled his legs with yours, sliding his knee in between your thighs and holding onto your hips loosely. You had your arms wrapped around his neck, forcing his head to nestle perfectly in the valley of skin that laid between your breasts and just over your heart. It was your favorite way to cuddle, and judging by the way Duncan’s nose continuously nuzzled into the fabric of your shirt so he could press tiny, featherlight kisses against your bare breasts, he didn’t mind in the slightest.

After a well-deserved, food coma-induced nap (in which you woke up to Duncan spooning you with both hands in your shirt, fingers barely brushing against the undersides of your breasts), you were both too full to even consider eating dinner, but not too stuffed to crack into the gallon of ice cream Duncan had brought home with him that afternoon. He insisted on hand-feeding you with his own spoon just to hear your laughs echoing throughout the bedroom, and you could admit that the gesture lifted your spirits even more than Duncan already had.

“Feeling any better?” Duncan asked as he tossed the spoon haphazardly into the paper carton.

“Mhmm,” you answered, nodding your head sleepily.

You didn’t know how you were still tired considering you hadn’t gotten out of bed except to use the bathroom, but you felt like you could still endure a solid night’s sleep.

“Thank you for today.”

“Well, damn,” Duncan sarcastically sneered.

“I was kinda hoping you’d say no.”

You snorted at his reaction. Wasn’t the whole reason why he’d ditched work this afternoon to bring you out of the funk you were in?

“Umm, why?”

“I had one more trick up my sleeve to try and cheer you up.”

“Which was?” you asked hesitantly.

A smile erupted on Duncan’s face and he wriggled his eyebrows playfully before answering.

“You know,” he drew out the last syllable, reaching his hands around to give your bum a quick squeeze, then snapped the elastic of your panties down onto your waist.

You laughed out loud again for probably the hundredth time that day. Of course, that was the “trick.”

“Well in that case,” your eyes rolled back towards the ceiling, faking thought.

“Maybe I am still feeling kinda shitty. Why don’t you show me that little trick of yours?”

Duncan growled playfully before pinning you down on the bed, his nose brushing dangerously close against your own.

“It would be my pleasure.”

Heartbeat Soulmate AU

Part 1

Over the next few days, news of Captain America spreads like wildfire. And when word gets out that our shop had been the one he crashed into, the shop’s customer count nearly triples. Audrey appreciates the increase in sales, but you and the girls are working a lot of overtime hours.

As the weeks pass, things seem to settle into a more comfortable, if still hectic, routine. You’re at the shop early, as you’ve grown accustom to, getting to work almost immediately. Dorothy comes in next, but after hanging up her coat, she settles behind the cashier counter with a magazine.

“Girls! You’ll never guess what I’ve got!” Annette’s lyrical voice fills the shop upon her entrance, rivaling the bell over the door.

You glance up from your position. You’re kneeling down on the floor, working on the bottom hem of a wedding dress as it rests on a mannequin.

“I’m sure you’re about to tell us,” Dorothy responds, keeping her gaze locked on the magazine.

Annette bustles behind the counter, too. Shrugging out of her coat and hanging it up on the coat rack. “You’re supposed to guess!”

You release a gentle laugh, turning back to your stitching. “Just tell us, Annie.”

Annette riffles around in her purse for a moment before pulling out a few slips of paper. “Three Tickets to the Captain America Tour!”

“What?!” Dorothy shrieks, quickly snatching the tickets from her friend’s hands to verify their authenticity.

You look up once more, in surprise. “How on Earth did you get those? They sold out the first day!”

Annette grins proudly. “My brother, Willie, works for the theater. He managed to snag a few extra tickets!”

“Please tell me these are for us!” Dorothy begs, clutching the tickets to her chest. “Please, please, please!!!”

Annette laughs. “Of course! But it gets better!!” She turns back to her purse, riffling for a few more papers. “Willie got us the extra tickets for taking pictures with him after the show!”

Dorothy screams in excitement, snatching those tickets from Annette’s fingers, too.

You laugh lightly at your two absurd friends.

Annette allows Dorothy to fawn over the tickets for a few seconds before she snatches them back. “So it’s time to dust off our best dresses and get all dolled up. Maybe one of us will catch his eye!” she grins cheekily.

You shake your head before turning back to your work. “I don’t know, Annie… A man that represents hope, freedom and the American way? A guy like that is bound to have a soulmate.”

Annette frowns as she contemplates your words.

Dorothy shrugs a shoulder. “Not necessarily. Only the purest of hearts get a soulmate. And with a body like that… That man’s sure to have a little sin in him.” She’s smirking by the end of her words, bumping her hip against Annette’s as the two of them giggle.

Annette turns to put the tickets back in her purse, releasing a dreamy sigh. “But could you imagine being his soulmate? He’s such a dreamboat.”

“I’d kill to be that woman,” Dorothy responds, flipping the page of her magazine.

You frown, keeping your comments to yourself. You know she didn’t actually mean it, but that was the precise reason you never told them that you did have a soulmate. Humans were fickle creatures and often wanted things they couldn’t have, or grew jealous of the ones that did have them. It wasn’t uncommon for mated couples to be targets to hate crimes. You’re pulled from your dark thoughts when Dorothy speaks again.

“Y/N, you’re so lucky you were here when he came to the shop.”

Your lips twitch in amusement as you remain concentrated on your stitching. “He didn’t come to the shop, he crashed through the window. I didn’t even catch a glimpse of him before he was jumping over the glass and throwing an apology over his shoulder. Nearly scared Mr. and Mrs. Brandy half to death.”

“And then he saved that innocent little boy! He’s so heroic,” Annette sighs once more. She has stars in her eyes, and you can tell she’s already fallen in love with this man, even if she’s never even met him.

Normally you wouldn’t mind. That was just Annie’s personality. But for some reason, with her fawning all over the Captain… It just didn’t sit right with you. You tried to push those feelings to the back of your mind. It was just an innocent crush. Nearly every woman in America had one for him.

“Anyway… The show’s next Friday. Dorothy I know you’re bouncing to go, but Y/N, what about you?” Annette asks.

Another unexplainable feeling arises. The thought of going seems to make you a little nervous, anxious even. More so when you recall that you would be meeting him face to face after the show…

You know that they won’t take no for an answer, so you force a smile onto your lips and look up at the two of them. “I wouldn’t miss it.”

Next Friday comes faster than you would expect. You pull out one of your favorite dresses from the back of the closet. It was rare for you to dress up as much as you were for tonight. You didn’t go on many dates. It’s not that you’d never been asked, it’s just that you’d been hoping to spend those moments with your soulmate.

Your hair had been in curlers all day until you were ready to pin your curls in place for the night. Your make up is flawless, choosing to go with a dark red lipstick you normally left for special occasions. You meet Annette and Dorothy at the theater. It’s positively thriving with activity, making it difficult to find them.

Once you do, Annette hands you your ticket and the three of you bustle inside. Your seats are pretty far to the back, but you don’t mind. After all, the tickets had been free. The show is incredible. The three of you admire the dancers’ costumes and giggle over the Captain’s. When he speaks, his voice seems to lull you into a daze. You could listen to him talk for hours and it wouldn’t even matter to you what he says.

Looking around, you quickly realize you’re not the only one. Both Annette and Dorothy have whimsical looks on their faces, soft sighs leaving their lips on occasion. As do most of the women in the audience. There’s one sitting a few rows in front of you that you’re pretty sure almost fainted when the Captain picks up a motorcycle with three dancers on it and effortlessly holds them over his head during the final number.

He stands there, smiling charmingly as everyone sings and dances around him. Canons full of confetti go off, filling the air with colorful, glittering pieces of paper.

When the song ends, the crowd roars with applause, nearly everyone standing from their seats, some even standing on their seats. You laugh as Dorothy and Annette bounce and scream in a desperate attempt to gain the Captain’s attention before the stage goes dark.

When the main lights come back on, Annette quickly grabs you and Dorothy by the hand to drag you out into the theater lobby. “Come on, come on! It’s time to meet him!” she’s giddy with excitement. It’s difficult not to feel the contagiousness of it, but at the same time, you still feel a little nervous.

A line has already formed. The girls take this time to touch up their makeup and fluff their hair. You wring your purse with your hands, feeling more and more nervous the closer you get to the front of the line. “You alright, Y/N?” Dorothy asks after noticing how quiet you’ve become. Annette turns to you curiously as well.

“Hmm?” you mumble distractedly, before noticing their strange looks. You berate yourself and put a smile back on your face. “Oh, I think I’m just a little nervous about making a fool of myself. I’ve never met anyone famous before.”

The two of them giggle. “Oh, you’ll be fine. Just smile for the camera and try not to trip in your heels,” Annette tries to assure you.

Before you know it, you’re hearing a man call out “Next!” and you’re walking into the small room that’s been set up for the meet and greet. You look around briefly, noting the long red curtain draped as the backdrop, and there are all sorts of posters and propaganda prompting you to buy Defense Bonds. As soon as your gaze lands on the man standing in the center of the room, you realize you didn’t actually have to worry about tripping, because all of a sudden you can’t move at all.

His eyes are so blue. They’re bright and warm and they seem to pull you in the longer you spend gazing at them. His full lips curl up into a small smile. “Hi,” he greets you.

Your heart skips a beat, the deep tenor of his voice completely washing over you. “Hi,” your response is breathless and it makes your cheeks flush. You’re only able to break your gaze away when you feel your heart skip another beat, only this time, it’s not coming from you. You have to berate yourself again. You’re not supposed to be oogling handsome men when you have a soulmate.

“Ma’am, are you getting in the picture or not?” the camera man questions, giving you an annoyed look.

You look at him in confusion. “I’m sorry?”

“Y/N, come on!” you look toward the direction of Annette’s voice, to find her and Dorothy saddled on either side of the Captain. The two of them are looking at you expectantly.

Your cheeks flush even hotter. “Oh! Sorry,” you apologize, quickly shuffling next to her. You make sure to keep your gaze away from the man just on the other side of her shoulder as she wraps an arm around your waist.

You focus on the camera, putting another smile on your lips. The flash goes off and you don’t even have time to recover from the blinding light before you’re hearing the camera man shout another “Next!”

Annette grabs your hand to pull you out of the room, fearful that’s you’re going to embarrass her again. You try to resist the urge to look back at him, but ultimately end up failing. You catch his gaze once more, this time noticing the curiosity behind the sky blue of his irises. You only get a brief glance before you’re pulled around the corner and out of his sight.

The three of you move to another line where you have to give them your tickets so they know where to send the photos after they’ve been developed.

“What happened to you in there?” Dorothy asks, once you’ve placed yourselves in the line.

You swallow thickly, glancing down at your hands to avoid their gazes. “I don’t know. One look into his eyes and I froze… I told you I was going to make a fool of myself.”

“Sounds to me like love at first sight,” Annette jokes with a light laugh.

“Get in line,” Dorothy giggles.

You try to force out a laugh for their sakes, but deep down you can’t stop thinking about how strange that encounter was. And you especially couldn’t get the image of his piercing gaze out of your head.

As for Steve, he couldn’t get the image of your smile out of his. The way your painted lips stretched and your cheeks lifted. He’s seen a lot of pretty dames over the last few months, but there was something about you that stood out. Something that made you seem special.

He manages to get through a few more pictures before he can’t take it anymore. He has to see you again.

Before the camera man can scream his usual next, Steve cuts it. “I’m sorry. I’m going to need a minute.”

He darts out the exit before anyone can stop him. In the next room, he sees that there’s another set of lines formed with people signing out for their pictures. His eyes sweep over the crowd, trying to find you. He doesn’t get much time before someone notices his presence and the group starts to swarm.

Even though they’d all just seen him, they were all eager to get one more moment with him. He smiles politely, trying to make his way through the crowd, using his recently acquired height to his advantage. He frowns when your face isn’t one of the ones looking back at him.

He must have just missed you. He’s about to give up and head back to the meet and greet room, when a new thought strikes him. He’d heard your friend call out you name, so at least there was hope.

He navigates the crowd to get to the tables. “Excuse me, can I look at this?” he asks the person sitting behind the table. Without really waiting for permission, he flips the notebook around and quickly scans the names. Looking at the most recent entrees, none of them are you.

He takes a step to the side and moves onto the next notebook. Your name isn’t in that one, either.

It’s not until the third notebook that he finds you. Y/N L/N. Your address is handwritten in ink directly below it. Steve’s hear skips in his chest, burning the address into his memory. He glances across the table at the worker in charge of this notebook and thanks his lucky stars when he recognizes the man.

“Robbie, remember when I signed that poster for your boy and you said you owed me one?” Steve questions.

Robbie eyes him curiously. “Yeah…”

“You think you can get me a copy of photograph 280421?” Steve asks, glancing back down at the notebook, to make sure the number matches with the one that’s getting sent to you.

“Uh, sure thing, Cap.” The man agrees.

Steve grins down at him. “Thanks,” with a parting nod, he turns to face the crowd and makes his way back to the room.

Always welcomes and accepts every piece of affection you give him; he loves it and loves you.

Turns this into a challenge to see who gives more affection than the other. He's a gamer, and he can get competitive.

He always has an arm wrapped around you; that way, you're neediness will be satisfied.

Loves to drown himself in your praises and affection; he gets drunk off of this too. If you go on long tangents about how much you love him, he will simply just melt right there.

Whenever you have free time, you immediately go out of your way to find him just to give him all of your love.

When you do this, he's literally like: 🥹🥹 because no one at OSSOTEQ treats him like this.

He's new to all of this affection and attention, and always makes time for it...

As in, he will literally drop whatever he's doing just to receive kisses or hugs from you. Forget the boss's order to mop the bathroom floor, you just asked him to come to your cubicle for a hug.

He gets pouty and passive aggressive whenever you forget to kiss him good morning and/or good bye. He will ignore you for the whole day, and when you realise what you forgot, you have to shower him with attention.

He knows whenever you're in a bad mood because your hugs get tighter and your kisses become needier. It's become a sixth sense for him.

Overall, he loves all of the attention you give him, it makes him feel special and wanted❤️

Affection is so foreign to DAMIAN. He's always so uptight and probably has little to no relationship history, so go easy on him at first.

You touch him for the first time and he just freezes up because wtf just happened to him?? Why do you keep resting your hand on his??

Has a small problem with you being needy all the time, and usually tells you when it's too much for him.

That being said...he does not allow you to touch him during work hours. Big no, you will wait until lunch and/or when your shifts end. He has to maintain his professionalism. Whatever, keep doing it; it makes him flustered and he tells you to stop.

Deep down inside he wants you to continue, he just wants to keep his goody-two-shoes appearance 🙄

Secretly loves your touches and longs for them all day, and he will never tell you. Sometimes he can't wait until the both of you are away from work, and just awkwardly appears at your cubicle.

"I hate disrupting your work, MC, but...would you mind coming here for a second?"

He then proceeds to pull you into a hug. This man is secretly just as needy. He's been denied his feelings for most of his life; give him this chance.

Outside of work, he takes and accepts all of the affection and touches you give him without a care in the world.

Praise him. Do it, and you have putty in your hands! He adores being the centre of attention. The centre of your attention.

He likes the tranquil moments where the two of you sit in silence and he allows you to do whatever you want to him. Hug him, kiss him, play with his hair, talk to him, he loves it all ♡

EMERY is also not good with affection. They just don't have the time to constantly have their arm wrapped around you. They're very busy in their department, and doesn't have much time to be touchy with you.

But once they realise they've neglected you for too long, they're quick to apologise and now dedicates a day of the week to just being with you.

They come over to your house, and you're welcome to engulf them into a huge hug and/or cuddle them all day! They like to see how excited you are just by their presence.

Despite not really understanding your physical affection, they really adore your verbal affection.

Whenever you compliment their hair, their outfit, or quite literally anything in general, they feel like they're back in secondary school, obsessing over a crush...

It makes their heart beat faster, and their cheeks turn red. Out of embarrassment, they have to hide their face from you.

"You really think so? I didn't like how it looked this morning, so that meant a lot..." They say while twirling their finger around a lock of hair.

You're the first to ever make them feel this way, and they adore you for that. You make them feel special and validated ♡

And of course what kind of person would they be if they didn't validate you back?? The flirt with you about how stunning you look today or how you make their head spin from your good looks 🤭

GAVIN gobbles down every ounce of affection you give him. He's just as affectionate and touchy, and emphasises it in your relationship.

Similar to Josiah, you're not allowed to go anywhere unless you give him a hug and/or kiss goodbye.

"Mon amour, where is my kiss?" He puckers his lips; yes, he does this in front of everyone. Yes, he says it really loud for everyone to hear 💀

He's one of the few who is not scared to show off how he feels about you. Everyone can see how passionate and loving your relationship is, and if they have a problem with it, they can take it up with Gavin.

He always has an arm or hand on you. That way, he knows that the two of you won't separate in a large crowd...and as said earlier, to show you off.

He's a showy guy, he wants the world to know the two of you are together happily.

And to show off that you're off-limits💀 Deep down he can get insecure; or feel that you're out of his league.

And that's where your verbal affection keeps him going! Whenever you affirm to him how much you love him, and you're so happy to have met a guy like him, he gets all giddy and excited.

And out of excitement, he picks you up and twirls you around because AHHHH love ♡♡♡

He does that lovey-dovey stuff where the two of you "fight" over who loves who the "most-est."

Your relationship is the one that makes people jealous at how affectionate the two of you are towards each other; but you don't care, and neither does Gavin.

He's so in love with you, he never wants to be apart from you ♡

ANNETTE is hesitant towards affection. She doesn't know what makes you feel comfortable and what doesn't; so she kind of awkwardly waits for you to initiate it first.

Trust me, she's just as needy and in need of touch as you are, just give her some time.

As soon as she knows what you're comfortable with, she's all over you.

She especially likes holding you hand. She's the mf that does hand comparisons with you 💀

"Look how big/small my hand is compared to yours!" She exclaims out of excitement. She likes tracing shapes on your hands after comparing them to hers.

She lives for all of your touches, and uses them to energise herself.

Whenever you compliment her or uplift her in any kind of way, she loves it!! It gives her a huge confidence boost!!

I'm going to be honest, I don't think JOSIAH really likes kids. Whenever one engages with him, they always have something negative to say.

Like these little bastards know just the right insecurities to call you out on.

He doesn't mind them, he just doesn't want one of his own...

But boy does your child change his mind.

Today is "Bring-Your-Child-to-Work" Day, and of course you're going to bring your little ray of sunshine along with you to introduce to your colleagues.

Josiah knew way before the two of you dated that you're a single parent -- he saw a picture of a kid that looks exactly like you on your desk, and connected the two.

The little kid you present to him makes his heart stop -- the two of you are quite identical.

"Josiah, this is c/n; and c/n, this is Josiah."

Josiah is the worst influence on your kid. Don't leave these two alone together for long -- hell will break loose.

After meeting Josiah, your kid isn't the same. They have new pranks up their sleeve and is now suddenly a pro-gamer.

Josiah is at your home everyday to spend time with the two of you often now; and he makes the excuse that your child should not be risen alone. In reality, he likes how impressionable your kid is, and the joy of helping you raise them.

Aside from you, your kid actually likes Josiah (specifically how laid-back he is, and he is a lot more lenient when it comes to discipline). Unlike the people at OSSOTEQ, he doesn't have yet another person nagging at him.

He takes your child on little bonding trips together. He has them at the video game shop and/or the arcade; and after that, he treats them to a snack. He promises he will keep your kid out of reach of his energy drinks.

You think it's adorable how well he bonds with your child. Obviously, he's not the ideal father, but he makes it work.

Jesus, this man loves it when the three of you are out in public and you get comments on how cute your "family" is -- he eats these comments up like it's his last meal on Earth.

While he dislikes kids, yours will always be an exception!

As soon as your relationship becomes more serious with DAMIAN, he asks to meet your kid. He thinks that if the two of you are going to be committed, he should be able to meet them to establish a relationship.

Of course, he asks if the child is comfortable meeting him -- he doesn't want to traumatise the poor thing.

He has a very neutral opinion about children. He's never thought of having one, but if he somehow ended up with one, he would shower them with affection 24/7.

And that's what he exactly does. As soon as he and your child are on comfortable terms, he treats them like they're his own.

He also wants to end the horrible parenting his parents put him through. You see a softer side of Damian whenever he's with your child.

Goes out of his way to pick them up from school, extracurricular activities, take them to the ice rink, and gives them small little lectures about life.

Speaking of the ice skating rink, Damian coaches your kid to play hockey -- he's a tough player and teacher. Tell him to tone it down a bit.

Being with your child makes him do a lot of reflection. He loves the both of you and can quite literally be with you forever (if the two of you are ready for that). Would your child be against having a sibling?

He secretly thinks of having a small family with the two of you, doting on the thought of expanding it.

He literally is so delicate with your kid. He absolutely does not want to scare them away. He knows the signs of bad parenting, and strays away from these techniques.

If he does somehow upset your child, he's very quick to apologise. He even stays away for a bit until things have calmed down.

He's aiming to be a good parent in the future, and being with your child gets him closer to this goal.

EMERY hates kids. That's it. They're nasty, slimy, and they cry/whine too much. Absolutely refuses to engage or interact with children.

They get along better with teenagers rather than kids; the level of understanding is different.

When they find out you have a kid, they're a bit disappointed; but they're not going to let their hate for children change the way they feel for you.

Thinks you're badass for being a single parent -- it takes a lot of patience (that Emery doesn't have) to raise a little demon.

They help you support your kid, doing the smallest actions to show they care, e.g., providing food for them or helping them with homework when you're not available. I mean, this kid is yours, Emery isn't going to reject them.

Your kid eventually grows onto them, and Emery covers up the fact by endlessly teasing your child. The way they talk to your kid is how an older sibling would talk to the youngest.

To your surprise, your child teases them back -- Emery likes this attitude from them, and thus a bond begins.

They refer to your child as beastie, little demon, or little monster; and your kid calls them "witch." Emery allows it, and clearly the two are having fun so you don't intervene.

I said somewhere that Emery has tattoos; but going off of this, they love telling the story behind each tattoo to your child. And your child listens attentively, invested in each story.

Don't be surprised when your kid suddenly comes up to you, asking if they can get a tattoo when they get older.

They also like giving small lessons on finances to your kid. "It's important to be smart with your money, c/n."

Similar to Josiah, Emery only likes your kid. The other demon spawns can politely fuck off💀

GAVIN loves interacting with children, especially yours! Happily accepts your child as his own💀 Please tell him to slow down, even your kid can't keep up.

He drops anything and everything to be with you and your kid, wanting to be supportive and present. He makes it to all of their important events at school and outside of school.

If your kid accidentally calls him "Dad," he will start crying on the spot. Full blown crying, wailing, and snot running down his face. The fact that your child sees him as a father figure makes his whole world turn.

He calls them little c/n; and because your kid is so easily influenced, they call him "Big Gavin"💀

When it comes to helping you parent your child, he is the most lenient. If your kid disappoints you in any way, Gavin is quick to take up for them. "Settle down, my dear, you know little c/n is still young. They have plenty of time to make up for these mistakes."

Never raises his voice at your child. Gavin would rather die than yell at your child. The most he will do is just calmly explain to them why they're in trouble.

Gavin sings to your child, and they fall asleep immediately. It's the craziest power he holds over your child.

He also listens to every piece of gossip your child tells him, especially after school. "Oh? Your friends were fighting over crayons today? Interesting...who won the fight?"

He teaches your kid how to LARP. One day you came home, finding the two of them in a pillow fort, preparing to fight a dragon.

He gifts your child a lot of rocks and trinkets that symbolise good luck and fortune. In fact, he loves educating them of the many crystals and their healing properties.

Your child might get into witchcraft due to Gavin's teachings of healing crystals.

Helping you with your child makes him want to have more with you. He's very family-oriented, and being able to be a part of yours makes him work harder to help support your child.

Takes his duties as a guardian to your kid seriously, and he's probably the best out of the five.

ANNETTE is scared of children. She thinks they're adorable, but they have no filter of what they say, and she gets scared that your child will judge her.

When she realises that there's nothing to be fearful of, she absolutely adores them! She suddenly becomes super maternal with your child.

She packs them lunch, reads them books, and is there to comfort them whenever they get hurt. She also teaches them how to bake.

She loves doing their hair in the mornings, especially if they're about to be sent off to school. It helps soothe her before her workday at OSSOTEQ.

She starts crying whenever they get an achievement. It shows the fruit of their work, and that's something to be proud of. She always bakes cakes/desserts to celebrate these occasions.

Has a dedicated playlist on her phone to play whenever she's with your child. It contains a bunch of Disney songs💀

She loves offering to put your child to sleep. She pulls out their favourite book and stuffed animal and begins reading. If you allow it, she'll plant a small kiss on their forehead as fatigue takes over them.

She comes home from every grocery trip with a small toy to gift to your child. Whenever she scans the aisles for groceries, her eyes somehow always land on something to gift your child.

She's always open to babysitting them too. She knows you're a hard-worker and wants you to relax, allow her to watch them for a bit.

She has a great impact on your child, and finds them a joy to have met <3

JOSIAH is already overprotective and possessive over you. If anyone gets your pronouns wrong, he's out for blood. Literally.

Coming out to him was so casual. You were nervous and working up the courage to tell him; and when it finally got to the moment he just said, "Oh really? That's cool as hell, dude." He makes it know that he is very supportive of you, and adjusts quickly after you come out to him. There is never a time this man misgenders you.

If anyone ridicules you, or even misgenders you on purpose, they're already dead in his eyes. No one gets to treat you like that :/

If you struggle with gender dysphoria, he will go above and beyond to keep you company and provide comfort whenever you need it.

If there's anything you particularly need to adjust your appearance, he will get it for you. If you want surgeries, this man will literally help you pay for it.

He will be on his best behaviour in the workplace and will work overtime to help you; trust me, he would do anything for you.

If you do/did get surgeries, he loves tracing over your scars and complimenting every inch of your body. If you're happy with how you look, he is as well.

He thinks your scars look so incredibly rad, he just loves looking at them whenever you take off your shirt. Whenever he hugs you, you can feel his hands just gently exploring around your chest.

DAMIAN educates himself on transgender identity to one -- make sure he doesn't offend you in any way; and two -- prepares himself for anything you need.

When you first came out to him, he immediately went into investigation mode. He's a very curious guy, and doesn't get a good grasp on it first. He wants and needs to do research.

He might question you a lot about being transgender, wanting to get a better understanding of it. If he crosses a line; please tell him, he quickly aplogises.

Very, very supportive man -- he wants the best for you, and will get the best for you.

He will literally look into the best binders (if you want one) and researches ways to help you bind safely -- I can assure you he probably has a notebook of all of his research and findings.

He probably also researched the best doctors and medications to take to help you transition.

He always refers to you by your preferred name and pronouns, and is quick to correct someone if they misgender you.

In fact, he follows you around to make sure no one makes fun of you and/or to correct people who misgender you. Tell him to get off your tail if he gets too overprotective for your liking -- he will understand.

When you feel dysphoric, he may not understand at first, but will give you his best support and comfort he can muster.

If there's anyone who understands you, it's going to be EMERY. They struggle with gender identity a lot; and is glad that the two of you can bond together on this kind of stuff.

Just a quick gender headcanon: I see them being AFAB; but is nonbinary (because throughout the game other characters refer to Emery with they/them pronouns).

If you want, they will take you shopping to help you find clothes that help you appear more masculine.

Knows what having dysphoria is like, and knows just the right things to say and assure you when you're going through it.

They're happy that they can talk to you about their struggle with identity because they know you would understand.

Like how I stated in my general headcanons post, they love using pet names that compliment your appearances; they always refer to you as Handsome.

Will literally set reminders and put sticky notes on your belongings to help you keep track of how long you wear your binder/when to clean your surgery scars, or when you should take your testosterone injections.

They want to show you how much they care about you, and doing this assures them that you're healthy.

GAVIN is very understanding when you come out to him.

Gives you and allows you to wear any of his clothes, and compliments how handsome you look in them.

Speaking of which, he changes his pet names, e.g., handsome, my prince, casa nova...

He worries about you often and sends you e-mails and/or calls you to his desk to remind you of how long you wear your binder, and just his health concerns in general.

If anyone misgenders you, he calmly corrects them. But if he notices that this individual continuously misgenders you, he has a private conversation with them which results in them coming back to you for forgiveness.

Does his best to comfort you when you're experiencing dysphoria even though he doesn't understand it too much. He wants you to go to him with whatever problem you experience and hopes that he can provide help or comfort to you.

He always finds ways to compliment you on the smallest things. You cut your hair shorter? "Your haircut looks stunning today, MC," and lightly pats your head.

ANNETTE is of course very supportive of you when you come out to her. She puts kisses all over your face and asks if she can help your transition in any way.

She asks you if there's anything she should avoid doing and/or saying in order to not overstep a boundary.

You're like an inspirational person to her, she thinks you're very brave.

If there are coworkers who aren't acceptive of you, she quickly assures you that they're stupid and inhumane. She gives them backhanded statements to piss them off.

She loves uplifting you! She gives you little pecks and compliments. She's happy if you're happy with they way you look and that's all that matters. She's not allowing anyone to put you down.

In fact, she's all about boosting you up, and expects to be treated likewise. Loves that both you and her be supportive and loving towards each other.

Rating: 7/10

JOSIAH is a clingy guy. Playing video games? You're somehow wrapped in his arms. Plotting his next prank? You're in his embrace, listening to his shady plan on one of your coworkers. Working on important documents? This man is wrapped around you, and you are prohibited from going anywhere.

He wants to be with you. Every. Second. And he will always find a way to be in close proximity to you 24/7.

When it comes to cuddling, he doesn't really care who's the big spoon. Like I said, as long as he can bask in your presence, he's chillin'.

He gets a 7/10 though because he can't stop moving. He keeps moving around, never finding a comfortable position to lay in blame the energy drinks.

You'll have to keep him in spooning position to prevent him from moving; but good luck, you might get kicked (accidentally)💀

He really likes when you're wrapped all over each other. You have to be face-to-face and tightly hugging each other -- basically honeymoon hugging.

He's really comfortable to cuddle though. He has the right body temperature to keep you snug.

Josiah's hugs are the best because they make you very sleepy (-_-)zzz; even he starts to doze off too -- both of you are melatonin for each other.

If you somehow manage to still be awake while he sleeps (which is a very rare occasion), you can witness him snoring -- which are these quiet little guttural sounds. And if you try to move away, the grip around you tightens.

He may be asleep, but he's still aware of your presence. Even if you do manage to escape his embrace, he ends up waking up because he senses a change in the environment -- you're missing.

I've said it in the past, and a I'll say it again: DAMIAN is very hesitant when it comes to physical affection and love in general.

He's very careful who he gets vulnerable around; so the two of you have to be very snug and secured in your relationship before he can even lay a finger on you. He doesn't want to ruin what you guys have, so he takes time and a lot of thinking in his relationship.

Aside from the general stuff, he's a shit cuddler. When you first initiated it, this man was as stiff as steel. His hands were at his sides, his legs were straight, and his back was against the bed. He quite literally looked like a stick.

"Damian, this isn't cuddling."

"Okay, what is it then?" Gets playfully testy with you because he's a perfectionist and deems himself as "always correct."

As soon as he learns what exactly he's comfortable with, he gets a 6/10. He's still awkward and stiff, but he knows he can be soft and tranquil with you.

He's constantly busy with work, and usually denies his needs for physical touch...

Likes positions where he can intertwine his hand with yours or even lightly have your leg rest on his.

When he's really in need of some physical affection, he goes for half-spooning you -- likes having you wrapped around his side while his hand rests underneath your head.

During these soft times, he wants to converse about your days, and he let's you vent your worries and complaints to him. These moments make him feel fluffy and wanted.

He thinks that cuddling makes your relationship stronger and more passionate -- so of course he will continue to do it with you.

This isn't EMERY's first relationship, they know what they like and want from you; and likewise, they want to know what you like and want from them as well.

Not the clingiest, but always has an arm wrapped around you; whether it be walking around in public or even at OSSOTEQ talking to their coworkers.

They just like showing that you're theirs and no one else's💀 Does it in a taunting way like, "Lol you wish Y/N was yours, you little haters."

Behind closed doors, they do more than just and arm wrapped around you. They prefer to be the big spoon in the relationship, but occasionally wants you to hold them as well (especially after tiring days).

They purposely like cuddling on couches because the space is so small that you two have to practically lay on top of each other -- the perfect excuse to be super close to you.

During these cuddle sessions, they have your face in their chest that way you can listen to their steady heartbeat♡

The two of you fit into each other like puzzle pieces of course they are convinced you're their soulmate.

Also they absolutely adore it when you lay your head on their lap!! They can run their fingers through your hair, pinch your cheeks, and stare lovingly into your eyes.

Similar to Damian, they use this time to have intimate and soft conversations with you -- it can range from anything really (from work, to what you're having for dinner, to the latest music creator they found interesting...)

Must I say anything? GAVIN is super affectionate. Not into being too affectionate? It's alright, he'll adjust himself quickly. In fact, anything that you demand of him, he gets it done and/or fixed right away. He wants to be the best for you and expects the same treatment.

Hate to break it to you, the sunglasses stay on while cuddling, which is why I knocked him down a point.

Please god just do everyone a favour and take them off. His eyes are so pretty and mesmerising when those damn sunglasses aren't on Σ(-᷅_-᷄๑)

He too does not care if he is big or small spoon, he just likes the feeling of being hugged and the physical aspects of cuddling. As stated before, he is a very touchy man.

He wants to feel all of you, not just a few limbs -- expect him to be your personal blanket now.

He likes tracing shapes all over you; hoping to ease you, calm you down, and get you all cozy. He wants you to feel safe when he cuddles you.

He also presses kisses on your face and hands; if he's feeling more daring, along your neck too. He enjoys looking at your reactions to them.

But he also expects kisses in return. It's only fair, right? ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ In this case, double the amount of kisses he gave you and he's over the moon.

He sings to you while you lay in his arms; these quiet lullabies that speak his love to you. They make you fall asleep in minutes.

ANNETTE adores being the one that's getting cuddled and tightly cradled in your arms. She literally buries her head into your chest.

She's nervous to cuddle you first, so you have to initiate it. She's unsure of what you're confortable with, and wants to make sure that she doesn't screw up what you two have.

She likes listening to slow music or watching television while you wrap her in your arms. If neither are your taste, she can sit in silence and listen to your heartbeat.

She gets flustered when she realises that your heartbeats match their paces -- it makes her feel like the both of you are compatible and practically soulmates.

She curls up into a little ball against your chest, she feels secure in this position because no one can get to her and she has you protecting her.

She sees cuddling as a trust bond between the both of you -- she trusts you with her safety not just physically but emotionally.

Run your hands through her hair and whisper praises in her ear, it makes her smile and giggle.

She feels so comfortable with you, she doesn't have to be shy and bashful around you. She knows you accept her any way she presents herself.

JOSIAH was mopping the floors near your cubicle. He was minding his own business, not really doing his job, and more focused on you -- because you're his obsession and he loves studying your every move. He purposely "cleans" near your cubicle just to watch over you and learn new things about you.

The phone at your desk rings, and that's when it happens. He tries to eavesdrop on the conversation (to make sure it isn't Gary or HR), but he couldn't understand what you were saying. And then it hits him: you're speaking a different language, specifically Spanish, to another coworker.

He falls for you even harder because you speak Spanish effortlessly and it sounds so cool to him. Later, expect him to be begging you to teach him little phrases so that he can communicate with you throughout your workday. Don't be surprised if he asks you to teach him how to say cuss words in Spanish💀

He loves listening to you pronounce certain words; especially ones that have you rolling your R's, such as cerrar (to close) or correo (mail). He starts freaking out, because good lord, you're not saying anything sensual, but you make the language sound like music to his ears.

And quite literally, that's how he treats it -- like music. He would have a literal stash of recordings of just you speaking Spanish. He plays it on his way to work, he plays it while doing work, and he plays it before bed. When I say he loves the sound of your voice, he more than adores it. He worships it.

Oh God and if anyone ever tries to make fun of you for Spanish being your first language, he wouldn't waste time to kill "talk" with them. Oh that colleague of yours who keeps mocking the way you speak is bothering you, baby? Don't worry, they will be at your desk tomorrow practically begging for their life and your forgiveness ♡

I said in my general headcanons that DAMIAN's first language isn't English either; so he understands the struggle of having to speak a totally different language that isn't your mother tongue. He's here to support you, and to assure you that it's okay to accidentally switch up languages on him and others.

He first heard you speak Spanish when you took him out for lunch break to your favourite restaurant called "La Casa de Los Sabores." You're a familiar there, and you're excited to take your loving boyfriend to a place where you can speak fluently without any interruptions.

Upon sitting down, you're the first to speak to the waitress, "¿Le encargo dos vasos de agua, por favor? (Can I get two glasses of water, please?)" He sits there in astonishment, just listening to you converse with the waitress. As soon as she leaves your table, he starts to fawn over how eloquent you sound speaking Spanish. He acts like he just witnessed Superman fly into the restaurant.

After finding out your first language is Spanish, you see his face buried in a Spanish dictionary with a pen and notepad next to him. Yes, he's very willing to learn the language just to speak with you, and would read every informational booklet to help him on his learning-Spanish journey.

He enjoys practicing new phrases he learns on you, and yes, he expects you to critique him. He's a perfectionist, and wants you to tell it to him straight. Teach it to him, he's attentive and a great student.

EMERY is another one who loves listening to you speak. They like catching small phrases and attempting to translate them. Help them though, their translations are really bad and far off all the time💀

It eventually becomes a game, and they utilise it to help them learn more about Spanish; but just a heads up, they're not very good with languages outside of their own.

One time you were scolding a coworker over the phone, and thought you were dirty talking...that's how bad they are at Spanish. They avoided you for hours, and when you forced them to come clean:

"Emery, why are you avoiding me? Did I do something wrong?"

"You're cheating on me with that other person in IT. I know it, because doesn't 'cállate la boca' mean kiss me on the mouth?"

You love them, you swear, but what the hell even was that translation? You have to patiently explain to them that you were getting aggressive with said colleague, and was telling them to shut their mouth. They're very embarrassed by their mistake, and showers you in affection as an apology.

Thinks they will just stick with listening to you speak Spanish after this...

I also stated in my general headcanons for the Overtime characters that Gavin is Puerto Rican, and loves studying Romance languages and just languages in general. So yes, he too speaks Spanish fluently.

The two of you have the most devious conversations. Both of you speaking at speeds that no one can catch up with, which makes it perfect for him to share the latest gossip with you. He uses the fact that both of you can speak Spanish as an advantage to talk shit in front of non-Spanish speakers💀

He calls you a lot of things in Spanish too, such as: mi amado/a (loved), mi cariño/a, hermoso/a, or mi alma. He's over the moon that he can speak with you freely.

Literally whenever he comes to your cubicle, or when you go to his cubicle, it's an automatic change in language. He talks to you in Spanish, and only in Spanish. Another plus, if you need help translating anything, he will help you 100%.

"Mi alma, ¿Quieres venir a mi cubículo? Tengo muchas cosas de que hablar (My dear, do you want to come to my cubicle? I have many things to talk about)." He tells you while you slave away to your work. He knows you've been working hard lately, and he has hot gossip brewing for you. Tómate un descanso, por favor. Lo necesitas.

He's ecstatic, and bugs you all the time because the both of you speak the same language.

ANNETTE will lose her mind; she wants you to talk to her Spanish in her ear all the time. Do it, it makes her really flustered every time (*≧∀≦*)

Similar to Damian, she's more than willing to learn Spanish; and sees it as a way to bond comfortably with you. Though, hearing some of her pronunciations and translations make you chuckle. She's trying though!

As soon as she gets a good grasp on Spanish, she offers to help you translate anything from English to Spanish. She uses this as way to help her understand it more, and she loves being useful to you. She also takes this as a chance to get closer to you.

It becomes a habit of hers to show you everything she's learned, hoping it would impress you -- her kind of way to show off.

Speaking of which, she likes learning Spanish proverbs. Having a slow/bad day? "Poco a poco, se va lejos (little but little, you go far)," is written on a small notecard, and is slipped in your lunch bag. Or you might see "Si te caes siete veces, levántate ocho (If you fall seven times, get up eight)," written on a small sticky note taped to some files she gives you.

If you want JOSIAH to be a bit more romantic, you may be called "babe" or "baby."

Or when he so desperately needs your attention, he will resort to babe or baby.

He likes to keep it simple, and he's not a huge fan of traditional names i.e. love and dear.

He's just not sophisticated like that ʅ（◞‿◟）ʃ

As for him, call him any pet name, and he'll match your energy.

"Hey, handsome, how was work?" You ask him after an exhausting day at work.

"Wasn't bad. How about you, babe?"

Secretly gets super flustered when you call him cute names, he will never tell you, nor will he ever show it.

He looks back at these moments, and fanboys over them.

"MC just called me handsome rahhahsjdjfjfkkdk."

The complete opposite of Josiah, DAMIAN leans towards more traditional names.

But when it comes to romance, he's truly a shy guy. At the beginning of your relationship, he just referred to you by your first name. All. The. Time.

You have to be the first one to call him a pet name, and he'll eventually catch on.

Gets embarrassed whenever you do call him things like sweetheart, honey, darling.

He melts at these names, please keep calling him names.

Huge reminder though, do NOT call him anything but his first name at work. He has to maintain his professionalism. Do it though to tease him about it later.

With the work environment being an exception, there is never a time where he doesn't refer to you as love.

He likes how domestic it sounds, and the idea that you two are so close (and so in love) you have cute little names to call each other ♡

"What do you feel like eating, love?" He questions you during your lunch break.

"This item looks absolutely delicious. You wanna share with me, darling?"

Of course behind closed doors, it's free range. Call him whatever, and you have putty in your hands now (≧∇≦).

EMERY is another babe enjoyer; they like being called that and will call you babe as well. It's suitable for you, and to the point.

But Emery is a lot more crafty with their pet names, using them to admire your looks and beauty.

Names like beautiful, gorgeous, good-looking, doll face are their other go-to's.

They love and adore the way you look, and they want to remind you every second just how stunning you are.

They don't care where you are, they will call you these names.

They see you walking down the hallway; they definitely holler out, "Where are you headed, gorgeous?"

You only blush because attention is now drawn to the two of you. "Just to the copy room. No where special."

They call you these names because they love the way you blush. Like it's them that made you blush.

They utilise pet names to tease you as well, enjoys seeing you all riled up because of them ♡

For them, they want you to match their energy -- compliment their looks too.

It gives Emery a huge ego boost; plus they like the fact that both of you can lift each other up positively.

It's canon that GAVIN keeps crystals and rocks on his desk, so I took this into consideration...

Calls you my crystal, my pearl, my gem, my diamond -- cheesy stuff like this.

Yes. He does use mon amour or mon chou for you too. I headcanon him to speak French fluently.

He adores using "my" in front of most of these names because it shows everyone else who you belong to: him!

If it hasn't been obvious enough, he loves showing you off and your relationship status; rarely does he ever use your name.

Seriously, day one of your relationship, he already called you his sweetheart.

He also likes the more "sophisticated" pet names. So if you ever hear someone say, "Hm, hm, hm! If it isn't the Apple of My Eye." Don't be surprised it's Gavin.

He's very articulate and expressive with his words, so expect a lot of whimsical-sounding names from him.

I can also see him using m'lady/m'lord on the occasion too💀

He gets so soft and warm when you call him my treasure, or dearest.

They are simplistic and match his...complicated yet intricate way of speaking.

You cannot change my mind, ANNETTE uses animal-based pet names.

Another shy one when it comes to relationships, and it takes a lot of convincing and reassuring to get her to feel secure.

It slipped out one day: "Are you busy right now, bunny?" She asked you, before she begins to profusely apologise for crossing a line.

Comfort and tell her everything is alright, because she's so new to this, and might just die of embarrassment for making any kind of romantic advances on you. Poor thing (ㆀ˘･з･˘)

But yes, pet names for you are bunny, kitten, and dove.

Other names are buttercup, blossom, and sunshine.

She loves how all of these names suit you -- in her eyes, you're this relaxing and consoling aura made perfectly just for her.

Compares you to nature and animals a lot because both are cute, fuzzy, and make the world go 'round.

For her, definitely call her sugar, muffin, or pumpkin. Use these on her, and you'll have to calm her down.

She's ecstatic but flustered. No one has ever referred to her as something so sweet -- it kind of gives her a raise in confidence.

Though, no matter how many times you call her these lovey dovey names, she will always turn the brightest red; and there is never a time she doesn't ♡

Overtime - Relationship Headcanons

Happy Valentine’s Day! These are just small tid bits of what came into my mind if they were in a relationship. Also forgive me if I mess up a few words or the grammar doesn’t make sense, I’m always sleep deprived so I’m running on my last 30% of brain energy.

For Emery and Annette headcanons: Sorry if these headcanons seem like they’re written for a particular group of people. I am a bi woman and this is my first time writing romance for a female character. I’ve read many romantic stories and headcanons of other female characters however I’ve only ever self inserted myself being in a relationship with them, making me more used to f/f relationships when it comes to headcanoning female characters. However, I am still trying in making everything gender neutral because I want to include everyone, advice is welcomed!

Also I apologize Josiah’s are different from the others. His is mostly talking about dates because I already wrote many headcanons about him specifically.

Josiah

Would be a chill person to be around if it’s only you. He doesn’t interact with the others as much.

He wouldn’t go outside much but if you insisted he would go to a park with you or something and walk alongside you. Overall not much of a outside guy. Trying to imagine him hiking on a long trail would be hilarious, just constant heaving 20 minutes in. He won’t leave until you leave though. He will not risk you being out of his sight and potentially having danger come to you.

Find something you guys can do together otherwise gaming is going to be the No. 1 spot in hanging out. Josiah would probably prefer to play fps/pvp games to de-stress and troll other players for fun. Would I see him playing animal crossing or other sim games? Yeah. He gives no damn about what games he plays tbh, as long as he’s with you he’s good. If he sees you play animal crossing he’ll ask you for your friend code. He’ll even constantly visit your island to bug you while you’re doing chores or decorating. His island would look cluttered and chaotic however it would still have his charm added into it. Somehow manages to keep a 5 star rating despite all the crap he has on his beaches.

If you like going out while on dates he complies no complaints. Taking you out to eat is leaned onto more. Not to a high end restaurant or anything (once in awhile if you do want to go to those restaurants) but more of a humble and nice place. You want to try out some of his favorite dishes? Hell yeah, he’ll take you out to his favored Vietnamese restaurant.

Josiah can cook basic meals and instant foods. Eggs, spam over seasoned rice, chicken n rice, etc. Has never tried to cook anything other than easy meals because he didn’t have a reason to. Doesn’t mean he’ll make a bad cook though, if you ask him maybe he could make something more extreme. Though he can cook the most you’ll see this man eat are instant foods so for the love of god, start hanging his gaming console over his head and make him eat healthier.

Baking with him! So cute, you’d be doing most of the work though. It’s not because he is incompetent or whatever, he just likes to have fun with you! Teasing you left and right while you batter some chocolate, sticking his finger in the said chocolate and then wiping it over your face, maybe he’ll kiss you… or maybe he’ll start a chocolate marking war with you. He likes having fun with you the most as long as you’re okay with it! Only with you, of course.

During work he usually does his own thing and will only stick around you for the most part. If you need him he’s there.

Him comforting you after getting berated by another employee would be him holding you in some way. He’s not the best with advice or words but he’s there with you. Don’t ask about the rips on his shirt though.

After all, he’s used to it.

Cons for this man: Uhhh there’s a lot already. But besides the obvious of why, I’ll say that his codependency rises up the chart when you both start dating. State your boundaries with him and he will try to respect them. As long as he is not in a horrible state of mind, he is more likely to listen to you.

Last thoughts: Quality time man! I said this before and I’ll say it over and over again. Him being around you makes him happier than stabbing those who bad mouthed you earlier! His devotion to you is “inspiring”.

Damian

Polite man. He’s very eloquent so it’s easy to be in a conversation with him. However he does come as stand-offish. He means well.

Already a canon hockey player. He will teach you how to play hockey on your off days if you ask! I see him a bit of a perfectionist so teaching you how to play properly is more on the table for him rather than just standing and joking around. If you don’t want to though it’s fine! When he plays hockey during his free time you are more than welcomed to watch him and cheer for him! Even if it’s not official he appreciates you and always basks in your praises.

Speaking of praises, keep praising him. I swear to god keep praising him. Especially for his skills in hockey. He basks in your sea of praises and eats every single one of them. Becomes flustered for the rest of the day.

Imagine him covering his face after you praise him.

An active person. Since his job stresses him out he spends his time outside just de-stressing in nature. So on your dates you both would be out and about doing something. Doesn’t have to be hiking or whatever. Damian won’t mind spending the day at home with you as long as it’s not all the time.

Bring a camera on your dates! He would love to look at the photos you took of your dates and just smile at em. Would put them in a album.

Since you’re the only exception in the workplace, he would assist you with whatever work that needs to be done. He’ll scold or decline anyone else who asks (Gavin) and continue on with his work. However with you… he’d make the exception. If he sees you being all sickly, tired, exhausted, etc, he’ll quickly go over to your cubicle, push you slightly away from the computer, finish your work in the span of 3 seconds, carry you, take you home, and put you in bed with the proper necessities laid out next to you. All of this while he’s lightly scolding you, comforting you, and cursing the damn workplace like it’s a spell.

When you both are in the office he tends to be more professional however if you need him to comfort you etc he will! He would either quickly finish his work or set it aside and just open his arms. He knows how much being heard can help someone (given his background, I’m assuming his parents always shoved their beliefs and stuff on him and he never had the chance to do the things he wanted) so he wholeheartedly listens to you vent. If you want silence he can do that as well!

He’s patient, so if you have a hard time talking about certain things, doing certain things, etc, he understands. He’ll wait until you’re ready.

He’s the kind of partner to push you outside of your comfort zone, so be prepared!

Since he knows you and Josiah are good friends he refrains from talking bad about him. Other than complaining to you about his cans crowding his space, he holds his tongue. Even though he loves you, he wants to keep you away from Josiah. The look of that man has definitely encouraged Damian to keep you away from him at all costs.

One con I would have to say about him is his vulnerability. I can see him bottling up his emotions and closing them off. He’s used to staying professional and saying nothing too harsh to keep the peace, so please let him know it’s okay to feel and express his more negative emotions!

Last thoughts: Words of affirmation would be his love language! He loves you and in his own time he would say very sweet things to you! He would 100% be more happier if you give him the same energy too. Overall very sweet man.

Gavin

A really cool person to be around. A relaxing aura and a overall positive personality, how can you hate the guy?

Would ask to do a reading for you (if you’re not familiar, tarot reading specifically). He knows a lot more than he lets on. The moment he saw you he’s like “they’re my soulmate fr”.

Something you both could do is just vibe out at home or outside and do relaxing activities. He’s not as active as Damien however he does like to be outside and do his own thing. I imagine him refocusing himself in nature to tune himself spiritually. He’d introduce you to his hobby if you know zero to little about it! He would also appreciate it if you were open minded as he got called “crazy” or “delusional” for being interested in these things. He is really passionate about this so if you were 100% interested in what he does he would SWOON.

If you are the same as him he would be over the moon. He wouldn’t show too much on front but inside he’s just so damn happy, having to meet his soulmate and finding out they’re into the same stuff he is into?? Mans would collapse.

If you have your reservations about spirituality and magick he understands though. He’ll do his own thing and you’ll do yours.

Cue in him gifting you his crystals. He thought about you for one second and said “Hm hm they said that they were getting anxious recently, I’ll give them an amethyst!” Ooh! And when you guys get even closer to the point of potential life commitment, he’ll give you a Kunzite, a crystal of love and devotion!

At work you and him already work together on the same floor so during lunch time he would just go up to your cubicle and have the both of you head somewhere. Conversations between you guys would flow smoothly and either consist of crazy things or level headed topics. He makes time for you, mostly because he is usually waiting for something to update or process through. Oddly enough, he gets his work done pretty quickly.

Larp with him and the both of you can be the IT floor menaces teasing Damien every so often with “Hm hm!”.

He smiles often but when he genuinely smiles? It will be the prettiest sight ever laid onto mere eyes.

If you need him to use his powers to read into people and get information about them he will do so. However he tends to leave some information ambiguous and sometimes even gives you lies of omissions. Could it be for fun or your safety?

Very intuitive! He can catch on to your feelings pretty quickly! If you’re upset the first thing he’ll do is try to soothe you and make you less upset. He’ll try to make joke or tell you a interesting story to take your mind off things. 50/50 on advice-talking. May or may not make things a bit worse.

Knows everything about everyone. Not even Josiah would be safe if Gavin looked into him more.

One con about him, I’d say that he would have the tendency to avoid problems by staying away from them even though they need to be intervened with. If you want to confront him head on the best thing to do is to never wait for the “moment”. It will come no matter if you are prepared for it or not.

Last thoughts: Gift giving is the way this man goes! Gavin loves seeing your face brighten up when he presents you with his crystals. He goes out of his way to memorize what you like and don’t like, so when you see all of the things you wanted for the past few months on your cubicle don’t act surprised when you see Gavin occasionally looking over his shoulder and at you. He’s waiting for that kiss on the cheek.

Emery

She is a hard worker and fighter. Her determination to get through tough times inspires you.

Emery likes to get things done and quick. She prioritizes duty and prefers to have things orderly. On dates she would want to plan a well organized schedule packed with things to do whether the date is inside or outside. It mostly goes well on almost every date.

I am imagining a coffee date in a humble establishment. It would have the right amount of people in there and the right amount of quality put in those drinks. After that you both would head somewhere bustling. Maybe a mall where you could ask her which clothes you should wear to the upcoming work party? Or even the city square to visit shops until daylight runs out.

Probably the most versatile to dates. She’s okay with home dates and outside dates as long as they’re not dangerous. When you both are on outside dates she packs necessities, towels, first aid, etc just in case! With inside dates like at her house, she makes sure she has necessary things in order to make you comfortable! Before you head to her house, she wants to cook up something just in case you haven’t had your fill. Not necessary you said? Okay, how about some snacks?

Polished inside and out of her house. Compliment her choice of decoration! She works hard to make this house comfortable to live in. She has good decorum compared to the others.

When you both get closer she might offer to cook lunches for the both of you if she sees you aren’t doing to well. She will be more than happy to accept.

If you do the same for her, she will be very appreciative! Albeit a little uncomfortable because she isn’t used to others going out of their way for her. Nonetheless she is very happy that you think of her.

She used to be lonely at work until you finally talked to her, she was reserved at first but never pushed you away, now she has a partner she can happily call hers! If she sees you being scolded/harassed by the people at work, she will forcefully grab your hand and take you away from them, only giving them a dirty glare as a goodbye. After that, she would set you down near a break room and prepare a warm drink for you. If you wanted to vent she will listen and add her input in when needed. If you were a bit more somber she would just embrace you and offer her warmth to comfort you.

She would literally fight for you. She’s not a total professional fighter however she knows some techniques and moves on the side. Her reflexes are crazy too!

She would last the longest against Josiah. Should she ever catch Josiah with a knife in his hand and you on the ground, all hell breaks loose.

One con for Emery is her insecurities of being needed. She wants to be of some use, to have something to do besides stand around and watch everyone ignore her very being. When she finally dates you, her need to be useful springs up. Remind her it’s okay to not always do things for you to show you her love. Talk and work through ways for her to express herself more. You can also compromise with her to do equal acts of service together!

Last thoughts: Acts of service is her love language! She smiles to herself imagining how appreciative you’ll be in the afternoon when she shows you the next lunchbox, how you’ll trade pieces of meat and vegetables with her, and how you’ll gush over her thoughtfulness and consideration.

Annette

Peppy and hopeful. Being a new worker has brought in a lot of pressure from her peers, however it seems she takes comfort in you.

Her ideas of date are a bit romanticized but all in good faith. Picnics, amusement parks, movie theaters, etc, it’s all simple but fun! She probably doesn’t consider most home dates as dates tbh. If it’s not a homemade dinner or a movie night, she’d consider it just a regular hangout between the both of you.

If you take her out to dinner, she’ll be a blushing mess! What is she going to wear? What if her hair tangles up in the middle of it? Even worse a stomach ache!

She will become anxious and more anxious up until she sees you come to pick her up. She immediately relaxes and tries to become more resistant to fear on the way there. On dates out to restaurants, she’ll always offer to pay full meal and if you won’t let her, 50/50! She won’t take no for an answer. She wants to be a good partner and that she is!

She does her best to look good for you, physically and status wise. She never wants to see you look at her with disgust or even worse, pity. She believes she might not be the best of all but she has you and she wants to build herself up to become the best version of herself. Let her know that she is enough for you and that you love her the way she is (or else *clocks gun*).

When she’s comfortable she tends to linger around you with a ghost of a touch. You make her feel secure and protected, so she attaches herself onto you when she starts feeling nervous.

At work, when you get called over by another co worker near the entrance she’ll watch with a bit of longing. Once you start showing signs of discomfort though she’ll pick up on it. In a split moment of decision making she’ll come up to you and tell you about a emergency on the upper floor slightly stumbling her words in the process. She’ll grab your arm and drag you to the elevator area, not sparing a single glance to the person who was talking to you just now. She would be very anxious afterwords but she’s more focused on you who was just put in a uncomfortable situation. Reassure all is well thanks to her. She would be very satisfied with herself for being able to protect you in her own way as you did with her.

Since she is still very new there, a lot of employees tend to ignore her, scold her, or even harass her. She takes comfort in you after the ordeals. Though not required, she would feel a sense of relief if you were a fighter (as in a very resistant and feral if provoked) because she would know that if anything beyond that happened to her, you would immediately come to her defense.

She sees you as an inspiration, the way you carry yourself around the office, the way you don’t take shit from anyone else, and the fact that you are quick to be so easy going with the other workers. She has admired you from afar and developed a crush long before you even dated.

You both have become accustomed to going home together and that brings her peace. However she noted that sometimes when you went back to your office to retrieve something you had forgotten, a certain management worker would always linger in the area until you came back.

Cons I have for her… it would be her insecurities about herself as a person. As she is obviously meek and young, she has a tendency to want to rely on others and look up to them. She’s a follower and knows so, even though she really doesn’t want to be. The change won’t come if all she does is look and not do, so you would have to be up front with her and give her some confidence!

Last thoughts: A lover of physical touch! She wants to be secure and comforted by someone she trusts, leading all but for you to just cuddle with her and relax in bliss. Even at work with a single kiss or some loving hand holding she would immediately become motivated just to see you at the end of the day.
