Very few people in the world could get me to sit down and play, what I believe the kids call a "video game" but VIDEO NASTY  did it. Here is the new video! It is about lots of things, including horror video games, horror movies, the academic canon, digital gothic, gay subtext and the Outlast games.If you look closely, you can see my beautiful yellow Henry vacuum. This game truly gives me the scares. 😆 I was like... uhhh... at this point in the game I'm in the sewage area of a place where they are doing terrible experiments on soldiers who roam the halls and are kept in prison blocks. i think most of them are canibles at this point too. In either case, I have a big dude tryina rip of my head, a scientist dude trying to cut parts off of my body, and a priest dude who wants to kill me as well, just not sure how yet. 😖 . My character is trying to write an expose on these experiments... but like, as soon as i saw this place, i would just leave! Id take note of all the blood, gore, crazed individuals and screaming and think to myself, 'this is a job for someone who can fight back'. Especially since for whatever reason in this game your character is unable to pick up a weapon and defend himself. He can only run and hide. So i would run home and hide under my blankets. The end. Game over. Lol. ☠ But nah if this was real I would've died in the first 10 minutes. . . Sooooo... Outlast is pretty scary 😟 I won't say you guys didn't warn me haha. ☠ So far, I have enjoyed: ✔The fact that I can't defend myself (clearly I like being scared) 🤣 ✔The fact that most of the game is seen through a video camera and is even scarier in nightvision ✔The extremely corny "Notes" and Documents that my journalist character writes and finds (I am reading them out loud and badly acting them out, so that's fun!) 😜 . ☠ Random Thoughts about the game so far: ❌Are all the bad guys soldiers that have been experimented on? ❌Did they all peel off their skin? ❌Why in the world would you keep exploring this building after seeing all these headless bodies hangin' from the rafters? ❌Should I set up Scare Alerts!? .
