Very worried for the amount of younger people (minors/young adults) and honestly even older adults who have completely forgotten what privacy is and what is appropriate to say online.
#just cuz i cant see your real name or face doesnt mean you should be telling me about your kinks#especially unprompted#tiktok especially worries me because there are so many things that can be used to track people down#they'll literally add their location#minors linking their cities and towns in their descriptions#and even older adults seem to have forgotten the safety rules we used to have everywhere#why are people using their real names???#why are people sharing locations??#why are people sharing intimate information about their personal lives??#no minor should be listing their kinks anywhere#i should not see someone say they are a minor and any of their kinks within the same post#or in their bio#i shouldnt be seeing their locations#i shouldnt be seeing signs of their high school#i shouldnt be able to find people this easily#i shouldn't be able to invade people privacy without even trying#our actions and words shouldnt be broadcasted this much#we shouldn't be so focused on our online personas that we forget to be ourselves#we shouldn't be so revolved around identities and labels that can be listed in a bio then exploring our hobbies and interests#i can learn more about you as a person by talking to you irl fr ten minutes then i can in an hour of scrolling through your social media#and i can learn more about your address school family and other private information in ten minutes of online searching then an hour of#talking to you irl
