What’s on Netflix tells us a USS Callister mini-series (three episodes) is in pre-production at Netflix. It’s a spin-off from an episode of Black Mirror (yet another series I’ve not watched). Apparently this has been ‘happening’ for some years. Naively I thought it another Orville type Star Trek homage, it may be so, but not in the same sense.

Nunca has sentido que perteneces a otro lugar… “Citadel”
Hace ocho años, Citadel cayó. La agencia global de espionaje, encargada de mantener el bienestar de toda la gente, fue destruida por operativos de Manticore, un sindicato que manipula al mundo desde las sombras.

In 2011, Lynn Nottage began spending time with the people of Reading, Pennsylvania: officially one of the poorest cities in the USA. During the following two years, she dug deep into the forgotten heart of middle America, finding a city divided by racial tension and the collapse of industry.
SWEAT is the Pulitzer Prize-winning play that Lynn Nottage wrote following her experience. Her tale of friends pitted against each other by big business, and the decline of the American Dream. It was directed by Lynette Linton, designed by Frankie Bradshaw, with lighting design by Oliver Fenwick and Sound Design by George Dennis.
Those creative team members return for the European premiere of Lynn Nottage's CLYDE'S next month. We're back in Reading, PA, where Patrick Gibson returns as Jason; recently released from prison, he gets a job in the bustling kitchen of a run-down truck stop. Under the tyrannical eye of their boss Clyde, an unlikely team strives to create the perfect sandwich, as they dream of leaving their past mistakes behind for a better life.
The full cast of SWEAT was Leanne Best, Patrick Gibson, Sule Rimi, Osy Ikhile, Wil Johnson, Stuart McQuarrie, Clare Perkins, Martha Plimpton and Sebastian Viveros. It won Best Play at the Evening Standard Awards and transferred to the West End the following year.

SOBRE ALEX BELCHER
Alex Belcher saltó rápidamente a la fama en el mundo de los compositores cinematográficos y trabaja en estrecha colaboración con el afamado compositor Henry Jackman desde 2010. Juntos han colaborado en largometrajes como el reciente thriller de acción de Netflix Extraction, protagonizado por Chris Hemsworth, y 21 Bridges, ambos producidos por Joe y Anthony Russo.
Actualmente, Alex volverá a colaborar con Joe y Anthony Russo como compositor de la esperadísima serie de Amazon Citadel, protagonizada por Richard Madden (Los Eternos de Marvel, Rocketman, Juego de Tronos) y Priyanka Chopra Jones (Las Resurrecciones de Matrix, Baywatch).
Con un amplio historial de acción, Belcher también ha escrito música para The Contractor, Made in Italy y IO, además de componer música adicional para Captain America: Civil War, Kingsman: El Servicio Secreto y El Círculo Dorado, Kong: La Isla Calavera, y El Depredador (2018). A série dos Irmãos Russo mostra uma história de uma agência de espionagem global e independente, Citadel, que foi destruída por agentes do Manticore, um poderoso sindicato que manipula o mundo sombrio. Na produção iremos acompanhar Mason Kane e Nadia Sinh, ex agentes de elite que tiveram suas memórias apagadas.
Quando um ex-colega de trabalho pede ajuda para evitar uma nova ordem mundial, os dois saem em uma nova missão para proteger as pessoas, tudo isso enquanto tentam lutar com “um relacionamento construído com segredos, mentiras e um amor perigoso, mas eterno”.
Além de Richard Madden e Priyanka Chopra Jonas, o elenco também conta com Stanley Tucci, Lesley Manvile, Osy Ikhile, Ashleigh Cummings, Roland Moller e Caoilinn Springall.
