Days 341 and 342, because I hit post limit last night and didn't feel like scheduling on account of cramps and migraine. Anyway, Triumph is done! Yesterday was the lining and base color, today is the final touches via shading and some minor tweaks.
#the great artscapade of 2022#bobbi's being weird again#art#my art#untitled gunpla comic#it's raining :3#and I'm listening to Red and Indigo of OSP fame doing a two-woman rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream#they decided that Oberon should sound like Maximillian Pegasus and it's gone downhill from there :D#let me tell you Robin Goodfellow as voiced by gender bent Joey Wheeler is HILARIOUS#this is my first Midsummer Night's Dream experience and I wouldn't have it any other way#also if anyone's curious and/or keeping up on my Work Bullshit Shenanigans I stayed home today on account of those cramps and migraine#so obvs I didn't go to the elementary school and supervise a bunch of children eating lunch#I'm gonna have to next week and I'm still Big Mad™ about it#it doesn't sound that bad when I phrase it that way tbh#the PROBLEM is a) the lack of respect for our jobs and treating us as disposable#b) the lack of respect for childcare positions by acting like just anyone can do it without any training#c) pretending ''well of the 500 ppl who applied we only interviewed 200 and hired 20 and 5 of them showed up'' justifies the disrespect#and d) the double standard of ''well 180 ppl failed their interviews'' but not actually interviewing the ppl they're throwing at the problem#specifically not interviewing us for the position they're making us fill#obvs we were interviewed before being hired for our actual jobs#but we were interviewed FOR THOSE JOBS not interviewed for childcare positions#I am an accountant! I was hired to do accounting! THIS IS NOT ACCOUNTING

I'm catching up on the OSPod and got the flag question in ep67 (asking Blue what makes a good flag design & he references the new Utah flag), and as an ex-mormon who's lived in Utah, absolutely HILARIOUS (they're right, the beehive is v important to Utah mormon culture, I've seen it in *every* mormon place there, so it being said to be "woke" is amazing 🤣)

So how to explain these. April Fools Day seemed to be the appropriate day to post these, not pretending that everything will be in this style because their eyes haunt my nightmares enough already.
If you don't know what Precious Moments Figurines are they are Boomer Funko Pops but somehow even more horrifying. They all have a constant look of mild concern which makes me so much fonder of the black soulless eyes of Funko Pops.
Rolling with Difficulty is a live play 5e D&D Planescape podcast and this is a reference to a joke made several times in Season 3.
