So... Kira Manning is coming back to us in less than a week. Played by Keeley Hawes! (Yes, I've had a thing for her since Tipping the Velvet lol) I'm excited to watch it but also not very happy about them releasing the show in Australia months before the US release date. Such a bad move.

I had to read up what you were talking about because while I'd watched the Orphan Black: Echoes trailer (I think? Maybe the teaser) it had a lot of Krysten Ritter and I don't remember Keeley Hawes being in it, or that she'd play Kira. After looking up some stuff, that's a big time jump!

I think this happened another time I got a question where between getting the ask and answering it, I watched one of those videos that rounds up the upcoming f/f in the next month, in this case this vid by Alex Shillington, and she mentioned OBE and said Kira was gay! Is that true?? She said apparently it'd been revealed in the extra audio stuff released in between but if that holds for the series, my interest goes WAY up.

That thing about the release timing is definitely weird as hell, hopefully the way early foreign release doesn't hurt its numbers when it gets to the US. I don't think there are really that many people in the general population who pirate and hopefully they'd watch again officially if they liked it, but more importantly, aren't we heading into a scripted TV drought? Maybe it'll get some extra tries just because people will be desperate.
