Reguri Week Day 1: Favourite Foods

Blue sat atop the hill where they had pitched their tent, watching their Pokémon as the twelve creatures frolicked in the fields below. It was cute how well they got along sometimes. Red had disappeared off to who knows where, like he did sometimes. Honestly, it was weirder if he had just sat still and watched as Blue cooked. Pika ran over, hopping up on the table and nuzzling against Blue’s hand.

“I know buddy, he’ll be back soon Pika.” Blue gently ran a hand over the Pokémon’s head, trying to calm him down in the absence of its trainer, “you don’t need to worry about him anyway, he’ll be fine.” Pika made a distressed sound but accepted that Red was going to do what Red was going to do and hopped down from the table. Blue understood Pika’s distress in a way, Red was strong, but he was also a bit stupid. Stupid as in if he would fall down a cliffside and sit there for over an hour instead of calling Blue of help, not stupid as in he wasn’t an intelligent man. Of course, Blue never had a real reason to worry about him, because Red was always one step behind where ever Blue was. If Blue was somewhere, Red was only expected to come trailing after him. Blue jumped as someone placed a hand on his shoulder and spun around, prepared to attack whoever it was with the ladle he was holding before realizing that it was Red.

Sorry He signed, almost dropping the giant pile of berries that he was carrying.

“What the hell Red?! What are you going to do with all of these?!”

You didn’t have any berries to make spicy curry, so I went and got some. Ah… so that’s why he had disappeared, there was always a reason for it. He wouldn’t just run off without a good reason.

“Red…” Blue couldn’t help let a sigh slip through his lips before he started laughing, “you could have just asked for more spice.”

Yeah, but I didn’t want to bother you. Red gently wrapped his arms around Blue’s slim waist, pulling him tight to him.

“It wouldn’t have been a bother, but get off me you idiot, you’re gonna ruin it.”

So picky.

“Yeah yeah, I’m picky and you need to go wash your hands.” He shoved Red towards the nearby stream, gesturing for him to wash up. As his boyfriend came back, Blue portioned out some out for the two of them, placing the rest of the giant pot on the ground for their Pokémon to enjoy.

Thank you for cooking Blue. He smiled gently as Red brushed a gentle hand against his own. I love you. And Blue loved the way he always carefully signed those words, purposefully, as if telling him that it was his choice to love him, and he would no matter what. Red loved him on purpose and he would never stop loving him as long as he lived.

“I love you too Red. Always.” It was never a trouble for him to make a food Red loved, for he loved him. And always would.

Top three favorite ships: this flips a lot depending on what my brain has currently decided to latch itself onto, butttttt i guess, for now, im going to go with bbrae, kakagai, and uhhh timkon. but special shout out to merthur and orginalshipping too, i enjoy those a lot.

Currently reading: too many. sticking with physical, published books tho, my current stack that im either in the middle of, or should be reading, is: wayward son by rainbow rowell, the dream thieves by stiefvater, g.e.m stones by kayla green (a super sweet girl i took a college class with and immedatly bought her book upon hearing she had written one), and the heist by janet evanovich & lee goldburg. also wayyy behind on the stephanie plum series too....oh well. havent picked them up in a while cause my mind has been better focused on smaller stuff so ive started reading old mangas i have lying around.

Food I’m craving: cheeseballs. always. beyond that....well a friend told me she ordered some mozzarella sticks for tonight so im looking forward to that!

People I’d like to know better/be friends with: i dont really have an answer for this, the only people i interact with on a daily basis on here is my bff, my cousin, and 2 of my sisters. but im always happy to chat so open invitation to anyone that wants to, i promise i will respond when i see it! im usually on mobile tho so i dont really check asks. just message me. :)

Oh hell yes I absolutely love seamountshipping and the one with Courtney and Shelley I just can't think of the name at the moment but I love these two as well (I also enjoy orginalshipping not origin )

Reguri Week Day 3: "I'm not enough for you."/"I won't lose to you" + Visiting Pokemon Regions

“I’ve never been enough for you Red.” Red paused in his walking as Blue tightened his grip on his hand in the way he did when he was upset, “don’t look at me like that, you know it’s true.”

Blue. You’ve always been enough. Blue laughed harshly, yanking his hand away from Red’s own.

“Why’d you choose me to go on this journey with you?” Because he loved him and Red loved travelling with him. Travelling with Blue was eye opening, it felt like he saw a whole new version of the world when Blue was travelling by his side.

You’ve always been a good travelling companion. “I’d rather travel with you more than anyone else.” Being with anyone else while constantly on the road would bore him before long. Blue was always opening his eyes to new places and new experiences. Without Blue he would find himself lost and alone before long. Blue had always been his guiding light, wherever he went, Blue was by his side leading him forward.

“But I’m not worth anything, not to you and not to anyone.” Why was Blue always like this? He’d always had such a complex over being inferior when the truth was that he never had been. Red was the one following him, not the other way around. He had beat Lance first, he had always been one step ahead of Red, leading him forward towards his next goal.

“You are Blue, you’re everything.” Blue had always been his everything, since they had first met. A young child, scared and alone had met another – one much louder and outgoing who would manage to drag him out. Blue had become everything to him on that day, because he was the only one who had made that child feel like life was worth living again. He had made him determined, made him never want to lose to the world again.

“Red…”

“I mean it Blue, you mean everything to me.” He didn’t even have the words to encompass how much Blue meant to him, the feeling was that deep and unknown. All he knew was that somewhere in there was an undying love for the gym leader. A love that was passionate and would never fade as long as Red was alive with Blue by his side. Together they could do anything, they would never lose as long as they were together. So yes, travelling across the regions with Blue was the right choice, he never would have done it with anyone else. No one else would understand him in the way that Blue did, Blue was more than happy to lead him forward into a better future, into a tomorrow where they would never have to be apart.

“If that’s the way you’re gonna be, I won’t lose to you Red!” That was more like it, that was the Blue he knew. The Blue who was always too overconfident, who had stood back up no matter how many times Red had beat him. No matter how annoying he could be, that was the Blue that Red loved more than anything. He just wanted to see him be the best version of himself that he could be, and to Red, it was the version of Blue that he had always been. He had never needed to change a single thing, and he never would. He was already perfect no matter what he thought of himself. He was perfect to Red and that’s all that mattered, even if Blue didn’t know that. In the end, they would balance each other, because that’s just the way the two of them were. Perfect opposites and yet the perfect pair.

Originalshipping au where, for their first date, Green take Red to the roller rink. Red can't for the life of him skate and he falls down a lot, but Green is really good at skating. Green in teaching Red how to skate, and, at first, they are simply holding hands and Red is touching the wall, but as the night goes on they get closer together and they end up with Green skating for Red as Red snuggles close to him.

As a bonus, a couple of people there could recognize Green (but not Red since he isn't largely seen by the public and is more disguised than Green because he hates publicity.) and drag him to the middle of the floor to dance, leaving Red alone and hardly able to skate on his own. Some jerk races by Red and pushes him, making Red fall over and hit a wall. His nose is now bleeding. He tries to keep the blood from dripping onto the floor and get out of the rink. Green notices he's hurt and rushes over. He asks who did this and when Red can point out who it was, Green beat the jerk up.
