DC x DP prompt

Danny is hanging out with Dora, and gets caught in a trap by Aragon. He takes the dragon amulet and phases it into Danny’s chest, which turns Danny into a dragon, and then sends him through a natural portal to cause chaos.

Aragon tries to take over the zone while Danny is gone but Dora beats the crap out of him.

Meanwhile Danny is a dragon now, smaller than his human form because he’s still a baby ghost, and his core reflects that. Baby dragon Danny was sent to the DC universe and lands (un)gracefully in an alley in Gotham.

He could be feral like little baby man but he could also just be regular Danny brain power as a ghostly dragon. Who is like three feet long. He does his best to get his bearings, roams around a bit, hides from people, and scrounges for food as he tries to find a way back home. (Might not realize he’s not in his universe)

Danny catches the attention of some not so great people and runs and hides in an alley, digging into the trash or under a dumpster bc he is Smol.

Meanwhile Damian is out on patrol and hears commotion on the streets. He swiftly beats up this gang of guys chasing someone(or something) into an alley. After running them off he hears rustling amongst the trash in the dark alley. He thinks it’s a cat, as it usually is, but is surprised to find an actual, baby, black and white dragon with bright green eyes.

Obviously he plans to take him home, but has to coax Danny out from underneath the dumpster. Maybe he uses some snacks from his cool pouches on his belt. Eventually he wins over Danny, but Damian has to keep him a secret from the batfam.

The secret does not last long. Keeping a dragon in your room is not a good hiding spot. But, he found that Danny likes to cuddle, so obviously the little dragon had to stay with him.

Alfred found out first, promised not to say anything and help feed the dragon. Not sure who finds out next but Danny probably tries to bite Dick when he tries to pick him up a bunch.

Damian plans to train Danny to be his sidekick. If Batman gets a batdog, obviously Damian needs a bat dragon. Name is a work in progress, but Damian still makes Danny a lil bat outfit to match Ace.

Eventually everyone finds out and Bruce especially is trying to figure out where the dragon came from and why he’s just chilling with the fam. The tamest dragon he’s ever seen tbh it makes him worried

Damian finds out about some of Danny’s powers and shenanigans ensue. Danny gets comfy with the bats and is treating the whole thing like a vacation away from his troublesome life. Dragons probably purr, right?

Eventually maybe Danny finds a way to communicate that he’s actually a teenager trapped in dragon form and he needs help. The batfam collectively lose their minds when Danny’s revealed to have black hair and blue eyes.

i dont think the doctor and yaz really do petnames like theres just nothing i can be really convinced of either of them saying bUT one time i wrote the doctor trying to get yaz to say what was wrong by like lightly nudging her in the shoulder and saying very gently "i can tell when something's up with my copilot" and honestly in terms of tenderness in any interaction ive written between them thats never been topped

Blink was curled around Mush, who had been coughing up a storm. "I'm sorry, treasure. Ya gonna be alright, Mush."

It was the middle of winter and the heat in the lodging house had broken. Half of the boys were groaning in bed, some of them with mild colds and others with more severe symptoms.

Mush shivered in bed for hours until Blink got back from selling newspapers. " 'M sorry." He had muttered as Blink crawled into his bunk. "You can sleep, Blink. I'll be fine."

"Don't worry 'bout it. 'M not even tired," Blink lied. Truth be told, the boy was exhausted. He had sold double to amount of papes so he could afford to pay for Blink's lodging. Mush pretended to argue, but cuddled into Blink and let the warmth of the other boy's body envelope him.

"I love you. I'm so proud of you for pushing through this, Mush. Being all strong and everything." Blink pushed Mush's hair out of his face. "You're gonna be up and at it in no time. You'll feel so good you'll be sellin' the worst of headlines."

It only took a couple of minutes for Mush to fall asleep. He let out quite snores as he subconsciously moved his head into Blink's chest. The non-sick boy chuckled and kissed his boyfriends forehead before he began to drift to sleep himself.

In a previous post I said Rex would make nicknames for people.

I also said that he would have a whole document full of insults for people (specifically his ex friends).

So what did I come up with?

Rex giving his friends pet names

Now how does that link with his document of insults?

Uh, I headcanon that in his timeline, if he were ever to reunite with his friends again, but they go through a period of Rex antagonizing them, then he would use what would be cute pet name or nicknames, but say it in a really condescending tone so it's just an insult now.

But if they were to resolve their issues, those insulting names are really cute now, and loose the condescending tone.

Exhibit A: Rex calling Lucy darling

Because you know, people usually (I emphasize the usually) either say that to flirt with someone or I guess say it to their lover. Rex would probably deny still having feelings for Lucy, but that love he shoved really deep down does make appearances like when he calls her darling.

Why is it that i know "axe o lot ull" is the wrong pronounciation of axolotl (it's more like "ah sho lot," it's from an indigenous language, nahuatl specifically according to like the most basic google search ever) despite knowing close to nothing about them while almost every person i've seen online who goes nuts about or even owns some don't. me when Caledonia's concepts first dropped cause i doing a good playthrough: she's good. Probably chaotic good a bleeding heart maybe

Me as I get deeper into dragon lore and white dragons and every headcanon: oh no she's spiteful she's funny she can be mean she can be influenced and persuaded either way, chaotic neutral, easily tipped scale in either way based on who she ends up with during tadpole days, a true blank slate but there is some pre written, likes humor but also vengeful, spite what wrongs her or wrongs you, prideful

Its fun. Honestly. She's silly and very cerebral in thought still. Still friendly. Like.you can't take that out, but like she really does not view certain things on a morality scale.

Doesn't necessarily do evil for evil sake or gain of power. Doesn't necessarily want control, but like if you were a problem to her or someone she liked. You could end up dead. Doesn't necessarily do good or search out to the greatest amount of goodness.

Now she does like faerun as is, so she'll take action to keep things the way they are, or if they disturb the peace of her life or the people, again, that she likes. So good characters will influence her to do things cause well they'd be happy about it. Just as if evil characters, well, yeah the same can be applied.

There is a certain thing about as long as she maintains a sense of control over herself and power in a friendship or relationship; she's fine and will do just about anything. But like she is always affectionate in the same way toward either kind of party.

True Caledonia run if I played the game, if you removed the level system, like she'd skip so much of Act One if she was leading. If she made all the decisions. Like the Grove dies because she doesn't even go to goblin camp. She'd end up at the githyanki cutscene and go straight to creche. Skipping like so much. She'd do the bare minimum of Act Two.

Act Three. It's just immediately like okay. Fuck up orin immediately. Fuck up gortash immediately. She'd try to save as many in iron throne just cause. Boy she doesn't like this thing called cages. Or anyone being captive. Like she's a kill or let go. Take no prisoners.

But like in the end? All of this? Ends up solidifying her true nature as dragon. Causs they don't just do anything without a reason, without usually someone persuading them to this action. She goes after the Dragon Cult cause one guy from it personally wronged her and now it'd all bad, which I mean it is an evil cult, and she doesn't feel beholden to any God.

Its very fun, finding what stays the same, but realizing how flexible Caledonia is to based on literally who she is written against.

But also like there is a whole personal story with her too, and her memories and The Tiefling; who admittedly was doing evil for her father's sake and maybe her own, who did have a major crisis cause she got attach to the captive dragon she's known since she was five; and really the core of Caledonia is tied to; she realized she cared deeply for this tiefling, like a big sister; but she doesn't know what would honor her memory most; and feels survivor's guilt; so she keeps wearing her face cause it is her face now. And if the tiefling couldn't live, then she'll live for her; at least for a little while.

But she doesn't actually know what would truly honor who the tiefling was or what the tiefling would make decisions (which the tiefling would have done evil route but coming from a place of being literally raises this way and in an abusive cycle herself)

And, just I can't wait to write more on the tiefling and drabble of caledonia's memories aprund her years captive, and the tiefling girl talking and caring for her. And the ways in which Caledonia grows to be persuades and manipulated by the tiefling girl in a way and cares / like Caledonia absolutely went on hunger strikes while being chained and kept under a concoction of so many spells and then drained for her dragon blood; and the tiefling girl convinces her to eat.

But like, Caledonia has been so fun write cause she is an exploration of "how influences make a person" I hope this all reads well in my writing and creation, and everyone enjoys the character.

#There is always a feralness to her and unique intelligence #Himbo brain and always be quite humorous and favor characters who are humorous and fun #Especially those who are sneaky #But she also favors people who are straight forward #Wyll can be too much of a matyr and is a pet on a leash (of which cal will think wyll should snap that leash) for her #The sparkler wyll is though the more she likes her #Really it'd astarion and shadowheart who she will get along with but also the hardest?#Cause it is clear they keep their secrets and like their lies and manipulation #Meanwhile laezel is favorable because she is brutal and straight forward and funny #Gale is easily favorable cause well he talks he is funny #Same with karlach for her #Those two are easiest to get along cause they are funny and open (even if they have their own secrets namely gale)#She also thinks karlach and laezel are best cause she could at any time Start play fighting #AAnd they'll headbutt her right back or at least laezel will spar with her right away #Poor gale will have to get used to random cnatrips and ice knifes blast at him cause she wants to play fight now #[ about ] bg3 verse #[ ABOUT ] Who could forget they were a dragon once?#No but she still a young adult dragon so she is HIGHLY influencable #Now she will have character she doesn't like and will always be inclined to get rid of whom she doesn't like #And all of bg3 is her battling with imposter syndrome and identity and feeling a fraud
