Observation Tower #1: A good portion of the towers are situated in the woods. Most strange things come from the woods. Luckily, this one is still occupied and the sirens work without much issue.
I don't know the guy who works here...and I'm too scared of heights to climb the ladders.
The first entry is here!

On a side note, opthalmology seems like such a nice career and with a great work-life balance. Just been hearing a lot about it from peers and today worked in an opthalma clinic and it is nice, especially that I believe in how much of a great blessing vision is.

Observation Tower 4 - the final one that I have recorded! These towers second as boundary markers for the different regions of the country, with some sectioned in groups like this.
I saw one example a while back that had several of them sequenced in a row together. Just an example of one of the many security measures the Church put up to defend against the wolves...at least they're nice to look at.
I hope this series was enjoyable!

The road Isaac takes home involves a lengthy dirt road across a set of train tracks. Granted, the tracks don't host trains anymore.

Observation Tower #3 : The construction of these buildings are funded by the churches, and so each tower has its own look. There's the temptation to make them look as nice as possible, but there are some criteria that have to be met:
For example, it can't be sitting directly on the ground -- the main body of the tower has to be high enough to where you can only access it via ladders. Thankfully, wolves can't climb ladders.
They also need to be made of sturdy materials that meet the security requirements -- the charms and sigils can only do so much against the bigger beasts.
I liked this one because it reminds me of the Synthian churches.

The vein fish are a welcomed sight at night. Some species have a bright glow to them that even the bravest [self-proclaimed] kids can find solace in.

Your standard Sandwich Sunday, complete with stale, refrigerated bread, an assortment of vegetables, and leftover breakfast meat. It's a staple in Kator's household, much to the confusion of guests.
