My favorite thing ever is when a streamer, normally with a face cam on, turns it off during serious lore time. Like SERIOUS serious. It's just so... chilling, to suddenly not see their face on the screen. It makes it more personal, somehow. You can only hear their voice, and you're forced to imagine what face they're making at the moment.

I'm not saying I don't like it when they keep their face cam on, but some streamers just aren't like Forever and Cellbit who can act their whole heart out in front of thousands of viewers, they're AMAZING. I love and admire how they can just... do THAT with their face and their voice and their whole everything!! Like, how???

But there's just something about Phil and Pac who are famous for being cheerful and smiley to just turn off their cam and put everything into minecraft movements and voice acting. It's just so GOOD. I've been in love with this 'rp tactic' since dsmp. It's like, you KNOW things are about to go down when your streamer's face isn't on the screen....
