tags from one of my older posts that i dug up because. i love to talk about seam. in general the darkners feel very much like they've had lives long before we entered the picture — there's a very palpable sense that they're getting peeks into something that's both very cohesive and very established. as susie says, she feels as though discovering the dark worlds feels like she and kris have stumbled into something very important, and although ralsei isn't a lightner like them, he's going off a prophecy and a peek at fate. the world beyond castle town is something he's entering into for the first time, too. (kris and ralsei know more than they let on to the others about the mechanics of deltarune, of course, but they're still very much outsiders when it comes to exploring the world beyond what they know people-wise.) the older darkners especially live lives that seem just out of sight right now — from the histories of queen with the card kingdom court, to spamton's big shot era, to jevil and seam and their first forays into madness. seam and swatch especially seem cagey — being darkners, of course, they can't do much to stop your prying, but they're the types to condescend when they can and talk to you very much like the prying newcomers you're quite directly playing as. seam especially seems to have no qualms about being cagey with you, especially because there's a sort of game to them in doing so and knowing it won't matter in the end. they're quite a sharp personality and it's one of the things that fascinates me a lot about them!

So I will be out of town from APRIL 16TH to MAY 2ND ! I'll have wi - fi for the most part ( save for the first day because ew 12 hour flight ) and people are free to message me but replies will most likely be sparse.

Since I'm making First Cream's canon divergence to fit in with the Cookie Run Kingom's lore and just sort of putting my lore for her; going make a post for it here.

First Cream Cookie was one of the first cookies to be baked by the Witches; the witch whom made her as well as the other cookies that were part of the batch had the title of 'Witch of Accomplishment' as well as 'Witch of Light'.

With First Cream Cookie and the cookies being one of the first cookies to be ever baked; the batch was referred to as the 'First Batch'. First Cream is the leader of the group and takes care of the First Batch. (With the Witch of Light helping her.)

First Cream is only a couple of years older then the Beast Cookies however that doesn't mean she is more powerful than them due to them being granted power by the Witches (The Souljams).

When First Cream Cookie discovered that there were witches who ate cookies out of pure glee; it nearly broke First Cream Cookie; however with help from the Witch of Light and the others First batch; they were able to support her emotionally.

Although when Beasts Cookie fell into corrupted; she was left somewhat jaded. Afterwards she did everything in her power to ensure she could protect the cookies in the Witch's castle from the Beasts' attack. (A place which Eternal Sugar Cookie attacked, claiming some lives + critically injuring First Cream, but failed in killing First Cream Cookie as well as destroying the castle overall.)

When the Beasts Cookie were sealed away by the Witches; First Cream Cookie was left drained in the aftermath due to overusing her power to protect the cookies as well, nearly being killed by Eternal Sugar Cookie which forced her to remain at the castle to regain her energy and strength.

Things were made worse the 'Witch of Light' vanished which left First Cream upset at the fact due to the bond she had with the Witch.. As a result, the castle fell into ruin despite her remaining there with a few other cookies that were able to survive.

Shortly afterwards; First Cream fell into a deep slumber and woke up when the Ancient Heroes were created. The other cookies watched over her during that time to ensure her safety and as well as a way as thanks for protecting them during the Beasts' rampage.

Although after centuries of passing and the Dark Flour War passing; The Witch of Shadow arrived at the castle; forcing First Cream Cookie once more in a protective role and try to save the cookies from the witch in the castle due to the Witch's nature...

This lead her Becoming guide to those who find them at the castle as well being created at the hand of the Witch of Shadow and being able to escape her clutches.

Regardless of the witch's arrival; this fact did not stop First Cream from trying and achieve the Witch's dream; to create a sweet and happy place where cookies can live in harmony.

Really obsessed with the detail that Lucifer's fire makes everything darker as if absorbing the light, like he is the light bringer so it makes sense he can absorb it too.. taking away the light bringing in the darkness .

Hello my dears, Koko here ✨

I have been silent on here for quite some time, mostly due in part to real life and other interests and even then — my muse for writing here has been all but dead and while this blog does hold sentimental value to me, as I have met many a great friends during my more active days — I think it’s time for me to say farewell and officially retire this blog.

I had a good run with Light, I had so much fun exploring and expanding on his character that so many people have come to appreciate him just because of their interactions with me that it filled me with immense joy and love. But all good things must come to an end.

So I want to thank you again to all those here and gone for making my time here wonderful — I shall remember you all fondly 💕

"My mother being an Earth Pony and loving tending to fields and plants definitely solidified that love for nature and plants. My father being a Unicorn, helped me grow that love and taught me how to tend for it all using magic rather than just by hoof, even if I do love doing it by hoof anyways. Being an Alicorn just heightened and amplified all that magic a ton, but I wouldn't go as far as to say i'm anywhere near as powerful as I could be had I been raised by, say, other Alicorns, so using all that magic is pretty draining!"

//Bc lemme tell you, there is nothing more frustrating than wanting to build a crossover and having the equivalent of scattered sticky notes compared to a multi-volume encyclopedia. Trying to balance and scale power to make au's fair and fun for everyone is not easy when you don't have good enough source material to go on.

//bc lemme tell you, it feels really scummy of me watching Bad Batch tonight and having to be like "yeah, Crosshair would take out entire fireteams before they knew what was happening." because we really just don't have any idea how the Vanguard or Hidden are structured. And we have no idea what kind of training Guardians get because in game you don't get training. You learn as you go and get lucky if you find people who know what they're doing better than you. There is no training, only encouragement.

//I know we have loretabs about Shaxx training guardians for his Crucible, specifically 1 lore tab about how to take care of your gear, and 1 of Shaw with a class/crowd of newlights during the Lucent attack. But that's all I can find.

//We really don't know their command structure beyond gun-crazed raccoons answering to the main Vanguard directors (Ikora/Zavala). But that's not stable and it's definitely not sustainable. Nor is the Vanguard running everything else in an attempt to keep everything together in the Last City.

i have so truly given up on lighting-correcting nbc constantine caps at this stage in icon-making. lo, blue and yellow be upon ye.
