In my rewrite of scooby doo witch's ghost
The whole 'the twon believes sarah is an evil witch only for it to be true' thing doesn't make sense so here, The town of Oakhaven believes Sarah was a respectable healer who helped stopped the "real" evil witch. My OC Brie's family were the ones outcasted because everyone thinks their ancestor Victoria Lumay was an evil witch. Ben Ravencroft offers to help them clear her name if they could help him find Sarah's old book for research on his next novel. My OC's family doesn't know where the book is buried so that's when he tricks hires the scooby gang. Accompanying them is Blue Falcon deedee and dynomutt because i actually really liked them in SCOOB and this is my fanfic.
One of the Lumays is cousin Myra, a rebellious teen angry over how she's been treated by the town. She ends up meeting the hex girls. Surprisingly they accept her, as they also know what its like to be outcasts but learned to embrace their weirdness. Another OC is Cousin Lucie. She's narcoleptic who sleeps in the most inappropriate times and places.
A third OC and a suspect Ben's brother Jeremiah. He's a hermit who doesn't care about this family legacy and is rarely seen outside except to tend to his roses. He and Ben are estranged because Jeremiah refuses to indulge in ben's suddent obsession with finding a book that may not even exist.
Like canon Sarah is revealed to be evil Victoria was one of the good witches who trapped her inside the spellbook, the other being Thorn's ancestor. Jeremiah is revealed to have natural magic but didn't want to attach his whole life to power, so he tried to dissociate himself from it. Ben never developed powers and felt tired of living under his brother's shadow. He planned to use the spellbook to give himself powers to outshine Jeremiah in something for once. He also planned on using the Lumay descendants as soldiers to enforce his plan for world domination. Ben and Jeremiah get into a magical duel but Ben cheats by attacking a bystander, forcing Jeremiah to take the blow. He gets captured, My oc tries to stop Ben but is overpowered and Ben unleashes Sarah. The two argue when Sarah reveals she wants to destroy the world instead.
suddenly she's stoped by anothet magic user turned out the family narcoleptic is a witch - not just any witch, she's the actual LEADER that all witches defer to. While Lucie takes on Sarah, Brie begins to feel down buy upset but a pep talk from her friends and family prompt her to try again. She frees Jeremiah and together they fight Ben and win. Meanwhile Myra uses her water powers to put out the flames and stop the creatures Sarah summoned. With Thorn and Velma's help they trap sarah back inside the book. Ben doesn't get sucked inside but is quickly arrested by Cousin Lucie, who says she will let the Council of Monsters decide his fate. As they leave, Jeremiah tells Ben he doesn't hold anything against him, wishing he learns to accept his own talents. Myra reunites with the Hex Girls who offer her spot as their bassist.
A couple days later after everything is back in order the Lumay family and Jeremiah meet for Thanksgiving dinner with the Hex Girls performing with their new member "Myst." The Lumays decide to keep the Giant Turkey as a pet. The town issues a formal apology and Replaces the Witch ceremony with their newest attraction the Giant Turkey.

1348 - Day 1
WARNING - It's plague day. A big warning for lots of death in this post.
Rachels illness gets worse by the day. There's talk in twon about an incurable sickness the people call "The Black Death". Cassian is really concerned about her so he pays the physician to come over.
They get an ointment for the boils and the lumps but the physician doesn't give Cassian much hope.
"Stay clear of the infected, this sickness spreads like a fire in the woods."
"But she's just 4 years old. How is she supposed to care for herself?"
"I'm just warning you. Stay clear if you don't want the family infected."
Only a few days after the visit Rachel succumbs to the plague.
The family is devastated. They're not even allowed to bury her because the people fear spreading of the illness. To make things worse they even get word that Aunt Charlotte died from the plague, too.
But Cassian and his family are not the only ones to suffer. Farhan catches it, too, and only a few weeks afterwards he dies in bed. He dies at 44.
A few days later Annabelle feels the telltale lumps on her throat. She tries to isolate herself to save the rest of her family from the grim fate and after a few weeks of struggle she passes away at night. she was only 26 years old.
Tara and Alton grief together for their loved ones. Alton has seen so much death in his time at war but he never expected it to follow him home so frequently.
Tara often searches for her mother in the weeks to come. She doesn't quite understand the concept of death yet.
Stefan's family is also not spared. Adelia catches it first and his brother Ronan follows soon after. To his devastation little Faith is sick, too.
He tries as best as he can while also caring for Grace, but Ronan dies quickly and only a few days later he finds his daughter Adelia as expired, too.
Grace is distraught of course, where are all the people in the house? Where is her sister Faith who she had such a strong connection with?
"I want Faith!"
"I know, love, I want her, too. I'm sorry."
"Come on, lets read a story. You love stories, right?"
The Black Death doesn't spread only in Britain. Nora finds that Elsa has been lethargic of late and she developed a serious rash.
It doesn't take long for the rumours to spread to their little cabin and now she knows what is in store for her daughter.
And while caring for Elsa she also catches a fever.
Verna, who heard the rumours, too, takes Clover after Nora can't get out of bed anymore. She runs to the castle to beg for her father to come back. She knows he's off with her uncles troops, but there has to be someone to help!
But when she returns home with the physician it's already too late. Nora and Elsa are both gone. Verna is taken in by her aunt.
"I will take care of you until your father returns. Fear not, Verna, you're safe with me."
Even though her aunt just had twins of her own, she vows to provide for Verna until Sven comes back.

Episode 39! Was a fun one! Let's go
So we start off with a livestream that goes wrong... cuz something exploded. As is usual with most streamers tbh.
So now we've stopped at a nearby twon who's name I cannot remember so that's fun :) but it's a metal down that's pretty industrial so we're stopping by for supplies. Dot needs a new mic but... well the others have no idea what she's talking about
So!
If y'all don't watch this show, this is a pretty big deal. Dot doesn't normally come out of her room other than to grab the occasional snack from the kitchen or something. It's pretty rare to see her out and about but even more rare for her to leave the ship, because as she puts it, "A waste of my time." The last time she was actually off the ship was the curry competition, and before that was when Liko's memories got wiped by Spinel and was left wandering in one of the cities.
Anyways smash cut to the theme song which hell yeah.
Annnnnnnnd she immediately loses the two. So they've already got what she needed and were checking out the 'vintage' section of the market, where Liko and Roy were ogling at the T.V. and radio. And then in the mere minute it took Dot to buy an old mic from one of the stalls, they vanished.
Ahhh
And then she hears yelling from an alley way which uhhhh alright guess we follow that
Okay so it wasn't bad, just some guy yelling at a Tinkatink. It's trying to take his hammer to create it's own. Tinkatinks are small, and want to make hammers to their liking using any scrap metal they can find. So this guy, working at a factory, had something that caught it's eye.
Anyways she eventually lets go, and Dot gives back it's old hammer and that mic is so getting snagged by it isn't it
Called it. Dot decided to leave it be cuz, hey the thing is already pretty old (she was going to use it as a prop but eh, change of plans)

Murdock chill out, everything is fine, they were gone for half an hour at max. He's such a doting uncle to her. This is definitely embarrassing her lol.

So uhh didn't take much screenshots of the fight cuz I was too focused on it but!
Quaxly was using water gun to create a circle of wet sand, so the Orthoworm can't escape from crawling over the sand. But Dot left one part of the circle dry. Where she was.
So the Orthworm runs straight to her, and Quaxly quickly hits it to knock the hammer out!
Which lets our baby get it and give the final blow! Gosh I wish I could gif these things it was so cool!!!

DOT HAS ANOTHER POKEMON LET'S FRWAKING GOOOO!!!!!! WHOOO!!!!!!

Having recently re-listened to episode 19 B of Nightvale I can clearly say that:
Nightvale is a town run by a cult who have probably caused the curse that undoubtedly resides upon the twon, and all the citizens know it, but very adamantly live their lives refusing to adhere to the cult properly.
See old woman Josie and her angels
Or Cecil and his dog park references when he's been told by the secret council in multiple episodes to STOP mentioning it.
And that Desert Bluffs is:
A Cult run town that nobody knows is a cult because it is so entrenched and isolated as a town that they don't realise anything is wrong because they've been conditioned that way.
See the doppelganger episode B having them have a public announcement from the mayor that they're all to be DOUBLE productive today.
Their only neighbours being Nightvale further insulates the town since reporting on Nightvale seems to be non-existent in comparison to Nightvales reporting on Desert Bluffs, meaning that any abnormality remains within the cult and is unable to be explained as anything other than the usual for the entire towns lack of further reference.
Nightvale has extensive contact with the outside world, couriers refuse to enter the town limits but they DO go to the town limits and clearly exchange information, the state government has regular contact with nightvale and knows to let it be- see earthquake that did nothing and they just sent a paycheck without seeing if it was needed- and humorously they have concerts within city spotting distance - Jimmy hendrix lightshow concert that got the town gaslit into thinking pink Floyd was a collective hallucination. But the fact that they KNOW who Pink Floyd is also goes to them having external communication.
Desert Bluffs are like a workers town, everything is owned and ran by one company who are putting toxic waste into the water. Like...
(Also hearing the desert Bluffs presenter made me like super uncomfortable? The voice actor was great but the fake cheer, the brainwash-y tone was setting off all the alarm bells before I was even properly cataloguing the differences in how the opposing radio hosts handel their daily reports.)

had my First Communion as a 7 year old, and Confirmation as a 15 year old
after Confirmation I dropped out of RE classes and stopped going to church
now an atheist

I know no one asked me but I still wanted to do this little (not so little) thing.
A young elf of perhaps 19 years old was on the floor of his airship writhing in pain as he silently moaned for help,an almost completly eaten caramel apple was next yo him,his chest ached and his crystal flickered a bright reddish Hue.
“Sportacus,you’re having a sugar overdose,You need healthy sweets”
He heard a familiar voice Speak to him hoping to hear some answer.
“I-I’m sorry...”
It was the only thing he could.
“¿Sportacus?”
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,I’m sorry,l’m so sorry”
He said over and over whispering between sobs that began to come out of his mouth,causing him to choke on them in the process,tears rolling down his cheeks until they reached his mouth,that salty taste disgusted him.
Suddenly,a millon memories came to mind,the memory of being that child that everyone Made fun of in his homeland because of his hyperactivity,the memory of hearing his mother cough uncontrollably,the memory of seeing his father having to bear the fact that his wife’s life was coming to an end,the memory of being surrounded by many people including relatives who had nevera seen in his life say goodbye to his mother while he hid behind his father yo nobody saw him cry.
An apple rolled out of a hole in the wall to fall next yo him.
“Sportacus,eat that,It will help you”
The elf didn’t even think twice and took the apple,he was desperate,so ir It helped that excruciating pain go way,then he wouldn’t even wonder what he was eating.
He took a very big bite of the apple and after chewing It a little,the taste made him feel a little better,and when he swallowed It completly the pain in him was gone.
“Sportacus,You had an overdose of sugar,¿How did It happen?”
Questioned the femele voice of the aircraft.
“I...I was eating a caramel apple that someone gave me in twon...I didn’t think It would affect me so much”
He said as he stood up.
“But It affected You,be more careful the next time”
“Yes...I’m sorry”
“Sportacus,¿Why were you apologizing for earlier?”
“I...no...that’s not important”
“It’s okey but ¿Are You ok?”
“Yes,I’m fine,It’s more,maybe it’s to train a little,I’m sure that will cheer me up a bit”
He said as he began to stretch trying to get out of that Situation without the computer realizing that It wasn’t really right.
He Is not well.

Diane: it's three minutes past 2am...the weather out is cool, with a light breeze making the wind chimes sing a lovely tune, and we have a guest in the house me and Harry.
Gordon had if you remember me telling you, suggested that we make a sort of program for those affected by the Lodge, or someone was lost to it and affected them in turn.
Our only real person to try this out on, other than myself, was local residential Forensic Pathologist, Sam Stanley.
Sam hadn't ever seen the Lodge, nither in person o in his dreams, but he's suffed a few traumatic events and had a long history of '
"Chronic Nightmares" and restless nights made worse by the recent dissapernce of agent Chet Desmond.
Chet vanished, we can only assume into the Lodge, seven years ago....and it's greatly affected Sam.
So Diane, Gordon suggested we take in Sam. Nkt em and Harry, just the community of Twin Peaks. He said that while the twon was odd and strange, it seemed to have a calming affect on me, and the locals are warm and welcoming so it can have a positive impact on Sam.
Sam, contrary to what Ambert spews is very nice, I must admit he's nice, odd, ans good at his job if not extremely messy and foggy headed.
But I drove to pick him up from the airport, which he hated even being tmaway from his home, but he manged in the car. We talked here and there mostly him chewing on his glasses and nails, or playing with his coat.
He's nkt the Sam bright ball of sunshine I'd pass in the office who would run down the hall and into door late to meetings, who tripped on his own to feet sometimes and had four coffee cups on his desk, a stake of books and a list of supplies and random machines skewed about noo...
No this man was dull, like a bulb about to give out completely, his hair longer now right to his jawline, and eyes sunken and sad. He didn't have his suit on, just a t-shirt and jeans, some old shoes and a coat.
He's changed, the disappearance of Chet changed him, and I hope this expiremntal "Calming therputic program" can least help him with his anxieties and help him get out and about more.
He was to stay at a hotel, but started crying about being left alone, so I asked Harry if we could set him up in the gest room, and Harry didn't mind.
Sam is long since asleep. I'm not sure how much rest he normally gets, he mentioned something about only about four to six hours of sleep sometimes three or none, so I hope he sleeps in tomorrow.
Maybe in due time he can be walking around Twin Peaks, even helping out at the station like I do.

Character Profile: Eden
Edens backstory is not exactly a happy one. She started out as a slave who got sold from owner to owner because imperial slave laws before they abandoned the praxis were quite fucked (Basicly you mistreat a slave they dont get freed just sold on to the next likely abuser) eventualy ending up in the northern Twon of Siberstedt under the rule of the Immerson Family. Becoming a tool in the rivalry between Andre de Immerson, Head of the Family and his wife who were only remaining married due to political reasons and realy couldt stand each other anymore. She basicly became the proxy for their hate. Despite this, she actualy befriended the youngest son of the Immersons, a boy named Zachary who was to be given over to the empires mage order as all magicly gifted children were. En route to their fortress however the family was ambushed, leaving Eden and Zachary as the only survivors, she using the opportunity to escape to a nearby village and after quite a bit of healing and travelling on, originaly intending to bring Zachary to somewhere where he could be returned to whatever was left of his family after the ambush without her having to be involved she found herself in the crew of a local pirate lord named Vans Livsey. While originaly suspicious of her the two quickly developed quite a mutual respect for each other and after Vans had been crippled by a cannon ball he left Eden both his ship and crew. At this point it was also clear that Zachary himself had no intentions to return to his family or the mage order for that matter basicly becoming her adopted child... wich brougth its own challanges having a fledgling mage on bord that was constantly growing in power he could barely control and the heir to maybe the richest family in the entire realm.She spent much of the following years trying to gather magical knowledge and tools to help him. This eventualy led her to meet Cyrus a Wolf conscripted into the imperial army and escaping with her, the two eventualy becoming a pair. Later this also led to her coming into contact with Kellvian Belfare, the heir to the Canton Empires Throne, befriending the travelling Emperor without at first knowing who he was and a few years later to figth alongside him during the civil war caused by him trying to end slavery... against none other then her old master and leader of the Noble Rebellion, Andre de Immerson, eventualy facing off against her former tormentor one last time.
