do you have any tips for drawing people? if not that okay! :D
oh geez i am far from an expert!! I feel like every time anyone asks me for drawing advice i always just say "look at reference pics and practice" but like it's so true... im entirely self taught so reference pics are the only sort of thing ive ever relied on, idk any fancy techniques or proportions or anything!! i'll try to think of something less basic tho fjhdasgjfasgh
tip 1: understand the flow and keep it loose! i personally get trapped in the nitty gritty details so easily so one thing im trying to practice is to keep sketches loose and flowy! otherwise the pose will look stiff and unnatural.
these were my sketching steps for my most recent namseok piece. as you can see the first one is the barest of the bare, literally just me trying to understand what the flow of the characters might look like. the next sketch works to retain that flow while still fleshing out the actual forms! i changed namjoon's flow considerably which is all part of the process of not taking anything too seriously and not being afraid to change things up.
tip 2: anatomy!! you don't Always have to draw the anatomy beneath clothes tbh depending on what you're going far or what clothes you're drawing BUT in this case with these unfamiliar poses and form-clinging clothes i knew i had to trace out some anatomy beforehand! obviously neither of them are that accurate, firstly because i didn't have a ref pic for them bc this was just a sketch piece that i wasn't letting myself get too serious about, and secondly because again this Is just one sketch layer and so i'm still not getting too bogged down in details! things like hands i still kept loose and open, while things like eh,,, legs and feet,,, you can see i struggled with more to keep that loose vibe. i'll practice more :))) in any case knowing the anatomy of a form is essential to drawing anything, but humans especially!!! before you dress them up make sure the parts all look right lol
tip 3: don't be afraid to experiment! human bodies can do some weird poses and things that you might think would look unnatural might actually work! I find this is super true with things like hands.
neither of their poses are super common or natural or things you'd see a human do irl but they still came out okay! again i didn't have a ref for this piece so it was definitely experimental and i had to draw their poses a couple times to get that flow down right, esp namjoon who has a relatively stiff pose but i still wanted it to look light and floaty! Namjoon's right hand is also in a pose that doesn't come very naturally and might not be accurate to what his hand would Actually be doing in this pose but it still looks good and was more fun to draw!
here's another example of this sort of "go with the flow" mindset! i didn't have a ref for this one either but after lots of experimenting with hoseok's hands placements i found this flowy maybe less than accurate one that i really liked!
idk if any of this makes sense or is helpful but they're just thinks i'm actively trying to keep in mind these days when i draw humans. thanks for the ask!

what was your creative process for coming up with 🦞Lobster🦞?
Okay so, a LOT of my Spamton-related designs literally come from me going "I want to combine something with Spamton". That's happened for Pleo, Moth, Shroom, Buzz, and definitely Lobster too. I don't remember if this was the case for Widow though, he's more of a special case (for everyone else, I haven't posted Widow yet)
For Lobster, I was trying to think of like... the most obscure animal / creature I could combine with Spamton because I mostly wanted to test my designing skills and see if I could fuse the two ideas? So he honestly started out as a joke design, and his personality was initially way more different than he is now.
This is the first art I ever did of him:
I drew this in the beginning of May, so I've actually had him WAY longer than I've been posting him for. (Also lord if anyone wants to draw him please do NOT use this ref, I've made so many minor changes like his antenna and teeth / mandibles that he almost looks completely different face-wise)
He's based on those rare blue lobsters, but also based on lobsters specifically sold in grocery stores for meat.
More lore under the cut because I want to add some pictures of what I mean, be warned for some pics being stuff like lobster shell diseases and stuff:

So the whole idea of him is that he's based on bad living conditions when it comes to animals kept in grocery stores, whether it be lobsters being held in those tanks just filled with other lobsters for food, or even the pet section where there's always a bunch of those dead fish at the top of the tanks.
Like one of these, but maybe half of the size and with a lot less lobsters in it. I'm thinking of a very specific one I used to see when I was younger but I can't find a good comparison image. Just imagine a Walmart with the tank I described above around the deli section.
I really hate generally bad care of animals even if they're intended to be eaten, so I thought playing around with the idea of a small lobster living in one of those tanks never being picked out (because when buying a lobster, who would want to buy a small one? Less meat), and being left in there for an unbelievably long time until it was bought... for a prank. I'll explain more later though there's a good synopsis of that on this post.
So Lobster, in the light world, is just a normal grocery store lobster! He's heavily inspired by this video:

You're probably wondering why he's blue. He's not only based on those rare blue lobsters, because Dark Worlds are shown to drastically change the colors of people who go into it, a good example being Kris's sprite turning to shades of blue. I wouldn't be surprised if a lobster being taken into a dark world would change colors too, hence why he's blue. I've actually drawn a hypothetical alt of what Lobster would look like with "normal" coloration as well:
The band on his claw is based on the bands that grocery stores use on lobsters to keep them from being snippy to people handling them / so they don't hurt other lobsters.
The orange markings are actually a disease that lobsters can develop when they're malnourished. When growing their shells and molting, lobsters use nutrients that they eat in order to regrow their shells underneath. There's a disease that looks very similar to "rusting" that deteriorates the shell. I felt that it worked really well for an accent color for him (I tried to find some less terrible looking pictures, be wary on google because some lobsters are in super rough shape):
Personality wise, he was supposed to be a lot more vulgar and rude, though now he's a lot more creature and just unknowing more than anything. There's more to him than that but this post is super long already so if you have any more questions, just feel free to send them!

i apologize if im being silly with these facts :) will happen again.
Bendy - he still has the charms and serious tone in the AU but on the behalf, he's like this [its Felix's POV: "yep, thats my kid" [joke]]
Boris - he still has the scar from when he is 12 [i will reveal ages for the characters soon] and his friendship with mugman is still besties but more a chaotic way.
Cuphead - he's pretty much a bitch in serious situations. but when it comes to anyone who made turn soft, he acts innocent as hell until someone walks in to piss him off cough cough bendy and felix.
his face is him literally LMAO.
Mugman - he's still the chaotic little silly but however, he's gonna be serious in the AU unless boris or cuphead distracts him from the serious situations. oh and, he can karate chop through fruits like jongho from ateez :)

Felix - okay yes, he's the father of the group. mostly. and forever will be. but..he's unserious in some situations.

Oswald - he is gonna do the chalkboard communication in some chapters and mostly he is depressed because its obvious, Ortensia passing away and the reaction pic is his mood 24/7. He is serious but this feeling is this way.

Blairlana - she is the mom of the group. like seriously. so mother but uhh..she's gonna through it so terribly in the AU. You'll see.

Coco - oh boy, how am i gonna start? yes, she is gonna be the type of person who says "i gotta protect everyone" but then ends up being hurt at the end. like girl, BE THE HELL CAREFUL. She is careful BUT not too careful! ALWAYS ENDING UP GETTING HURT LIKE HER DAMN DAD. [excuse me while i show her reactions to unserious situations]

Angel - her relationship with her mom is like amity and odalia's and it is sad as hell. Overall though, she is a sweet n' sour type of person

Chole - miles's mom reminds me of them but their personality and bits of backstory is like kitty softpaws so its a mix of inspo there :)
Alt - they are the only person in the group that has no idea what they are doing but ends up doing something right at the end. and..they are also gonna go through it like Blairlana is. You'll see.
"V" - the possibility that she will laugh in serious situations.

Saiki rubbed his face as he checked his reflection for the millionth time this morning
He quickly groomed himself as he thought back on Makoto's plans for the day, this cute cafe they all visited recently, for a total for three hours! Is it weird he's weirdly excited more than the coffee jellies he may get??
He made his way after cleaning up properly to the cafe in question and allowed his boyfriends to take both his hands/arms and basically guide him to the farthest booth in the cafe
They ordered a lot of the menu by the time they sat down, of course the two decide to spoil their psyche bean with the menu options, cuddling the cats nearby cause I'm making this a cat cafe okay??
They were...kind of in their own little bubble of peace and gentle snuggles and affections. Makoto reciting a scene from a romance novel to them, Saiko lovingly petting a cat's head, and Saiki just smiles and admires the date was going well.
They were so deep it wasn't until Saiki went to give them both a kiss across the booth he heard a familiar voice-
Shooting his head right he freezes seeing a certain pretty girl from his school walk to a booth nearby.
The two froze and stare

But then Saiki noticed two other schoolmates, two blonde hair cuties-

hi! i love your sims sm !! they’re gorgeous ! i was wondering if your willing to share how you edit your screenshots? if not, i totally understand ♡♡♡
omg thank u so much!!!!!!! <3 this means a lot to me djkhfjsd of course i can! i'm a novice when it comes to editing (literally only started a few days ago) so my process is still very basic but i can show u nonetheless. it'll all be under the cut :-)
okay so before i start i have to mention that i use three programs to do this: reshade (does the bulk of the editing for me via presets), SRWE (ensures that my screenshots are hq), and photoshop 2020 (for editing)
lets say i'm editing this picture
since i've already posed her, taken the pic w reshade, and cropped it to a size i want, i dont have to worry about any of that anymore. on to photoshop! (for ref: i didnt take this particular screenshot with SRWE because i didnt have it installed at the time, but for all of my current ones i do!)
the first thing i do is open up topaz clean v3 - i got mine from [cough cough here]. idk anything abt topaz so this may be outdated but... it works good enough for me
from there, i just mess around with the 'cartooned' settings until i find something i'm satisfied with. i try to keep it really subtle because i want my sim to actually look like themselves fkjhgjhf here are my personal settings for this specific photo
after this, i go to filter > sharpen > smart sharpen to bring out the details in the photo
similar to topaz settings, i just mess around with the strength until i find something that i like. i try not to go too heavy with it but since i didnt take this pic with SRWE, i gave it a little more sharpening than i usually would
lastly, i use one of @wooldawn's actions from this action dump . i personally use 'o gradient' to make the photo a bit brighter
and thats it!

Had two games today. I know I’m totally out of shape and I felt it after the first game. The first game was actually kind of easy but I was so out of shape that I didn’t even feel like myself. It was so depressing. I knew I was nowhere near game shape and that my heart and lungs are not where I want them to be. AEB the box score, I actually scored in that game but they didn’t give me credit for it. If I could have even been somewhat effective, we could have had a chance.
Then we played a tougher team in the second game of the day. I have had to honestly say that I was actually feeling okay after about a 45 min rest between games. We still ended up losing but this was the box score.
I don’t normally take pics of these things but my brother told me to. Talk about a tale of two cities. This was against a tougher team and I actually felt better than the first game. I joked with my brother that I could feel I was so sluggish and heavy during the first game but I felt better the second game. We joked that it only took me a full game to get back into game shape. I’m still way over weight so I know I am a long way from game shape. They gave me credit for 6 3s. I never took a 2 but there is a 2 and he feels I was closer to 10. Here’s the thing I hate about games like this. Yes I started having a hot hand but then people stop playing their game and start trying to focus on getting the ball to me that they sacrifice their own game. I get my shots within the flow of the game. But when they start messing with the flow of the game to get me the ball, it doesn’t work as good. And as you can tell, in the second half, it showed. Then again, I don’t start because this isn’t our regular team so I didn’t start the second half either and they were terrible. The other team made their comeback while I was on the bench. Oh well. It was nice to have a decent shooting game. Only thing is now they prolly will expect this from me moving forward and I have nowhere to go but down :/ :P I got my usual knocks to the ground but got into it with someone cuz they were starting to play dirty. People tend to do that when they are losing. So stupid. Just okay the game the right way and lose with dignity. Don’t try to hurt people just because you are mad that you are losing. I hate that. So yeah, I got into it with someone and was telling the ref to watch the way the guy was resorting to playing. Whatevers. At least I didn’t get majorly hurt but I still hate the fact that we lost. Just means I need to put in more work…*shrug*

Okay, I stopped analysing at episode eight, which means I will describe episode nine. In episode nine, it starts with the weigh-ins, where Ethan weighs 179 pounds= ca. 81 kg and Elijah weighs 186 pounds= ca. 84 kg. Also, as Uncle/Coach Trevor was about to scold Elijah lightly on his weight, Kublai made some comment about it being because of those energy drinks, but Elijah quickly shushes him, and still, Elijah gets an earful from Coach Trevor. but then, a few panels and fighting later, Ethan just fucking picks Elijah up.
Ethan's face tells me that he's a little struggling, but other than that, nice cake Elijah.
And then, as they are fighting some more, Ethan just kinda holds Elijah down to the ground, as in slamming him on the ground over and over again, and Elijah manages to put Ethan in a triangle hold.
Like---scooch over Ethan!
Like c'mon, who wouldn't want to get smushed between Elijah's thighs?! Like I'd die happy between 'em...
Ahem, going forward, Ethan just fucking raises Elijah in the air again, like what the heck are you Ethan? I though you were a cheetah!
But, Ethan just slamms Elijah to the ground again, and does another dirty trick. above Elijah's left purple eye, there is a wound. And what does Ethan do?? He presses on it.
Out wonderful Uncle Trevor yells at the Ref to do something, who tells Ethan to cut it out. I would've punched the Ref if I were there. Does Ethan listen though? No, he doesn't. He presses on a little more and then covers Elijah's nose to stop it from breathing.
In episode ten, we can see Ethan talking about his past, where his father died and he was alone with his mom, who also wasn't very happy, I mean, she drinks the whole time, and when Ethan started fighting, she dedicated her life to his wins, even when he cheated.
As Elijah and Ethan exchange punches, GSM/Alpha male raises his voice
Is Vasily turning his head to not get slapped? Anyways, I feel pity for Medusa, who slowly looses it with GSM. Also it is now confirmed that GSM is a hypocrite.
Looking forward, we can see Daimyo(Izo Honda) saying Elijah won't win, and Bokassa saying that he will, but only because the horn is never wrong.
And then, Ethan says something along the lines of hoping that Elijah enjoyed the present he and Zach left for Elijah. And he was talking about the photo.
Then, we get some panels which show Ethan, Bokassa, Jamie and Zach outside, where Ethan asks about Bokassa's horn. As Bokassa tells them the story behind it, Ethan and Zach laugh at him, and Jamie tries his best not to laugh as well.
Bokassa then asks if Ethan would like to know if he or Elijah is going to win, and Ethan agrees, not really believeing him.
Anyways, let's admire Bokassa's beauty.
Pretty Bokassa.
Look at him, so pretty, don't you think?
Also, Bokassa says that the horn tells him that Ethan's going to lose. After that, Ethan and Zach go to Elijah's room and mess up his stuff, and Ethan notices that photo of Elijah with his father, and, well, he tore it in half probably.
Elijah then realizes that it was Ethan and not Zach and and punches him, then raises him up the air. Ethan then punches Elijah after the fight was over, and the ref scolds him again.
As Ethan then sits in the corner to rest a bit, he feels Kublai's stare and-

Tons, i could talk about art all day. I actually had a draft saved of a few of my personal tips just for my own reminder, i guess i can edit it so it's coherent and share it here? 😅 under the readmore haha
-sometimes things drawn to real life accuracy...are worse. watching ANTM made me realize this. think abt overall picture and composition, shapes, parallel/perpendicular lines, line of motion. This also goes for drawing a character "on model". Sometimes we gotta go off model for the sake of the composition. Only certain things please our eyes - nature is weird like that
-sometimes we get stubborn or lazy and draw something in a certain perspective or angle just because that's the perspective or angle we're used to even tho we know it's wrong for this pic or that it's making the pic look bad. Don't be stubborn or lazy! Don't be afraid to draw it in the right perspective or angle even tho u haven't done it that way before. That's the whole point - make art a learning experience, an experiment, break out the refs and u will improve even during the middle of working on an artwork
-but ofc if u just wanna chill u can be lazy. we do art for diff reasons. im lazy like all the time. but if u wanna actively improve then u can't be lazy.
-if something feels off and u cant tell what it is, try covering a part of the picture with ur hand and see if the rest looks okay. If it does, then u know the uncovered part isn't the problem. The problem is either something in the part u covered or the way the two parts have been arranged together. Keep covering different areas of the pic til u can pinpoint what exactly u need to fix or redraw. u can also: take breaks, flip the image, or look at the drawing on a different device. it refreshes ur view. i never finish anything in one sitting, my art would look horrible if i did. Er i guess this entire bullet point depends on whether u have enough visual experience in the first place to know when something has been drawn wonky aha
-fixing ur mistakes will build ur muscle memory and make it easier for next time

2021 Art Summary
The time old tradition continues. I’ll be honest; this year was rough. Like, I scraped the bottom of the barrel for most of these months. Very little art was accomplished (or, at least, completed), and I had felt pretty bad about that the last couple months. But, as it turns out, I wasn’t alone in that. Every other artist I’ve seen has said they’ve been in the exact same boat. So I’m glad now that I could do what I could this year. And now, as always, I’ll share my journey through this year with you!

HEY SO remember when i said i would work on my TOME Fan Animations every day all year? hahaha Yeah That Didn’t Happen
I spent like ten days out of the month tops, and in that time I really only worked a little bit on storyboards and got almost all of my character’s talksprites redone. And I do like them! But yeah. I honestly don’t even know what will become of that project, if anything, at this point.
In addition to that, I participated yet again in Gotta Draw ‘Em All on deviantArt with Grookey as my muse. What a lil cutie. Sadly, this was the final event for that group, but I’m glad I was there to contribute to it.
I also continued my TOME server’s art challenge tradition of making a TOMERPG character from scratch, and Zeitgeist was born. I just think it’s got a cool design :>
Also! New thing I’m doing for this summary: some WIPs! because I did a lot of them and I’m upset that I didn’t ever get to finish them! So to kick it off here’s one that began in January and was last updated in June: a “six fanarts” part three exclusively for cute girls

i’ll tell you right now that this year is comprised of a lot of sketches because digital art was too hard or too time- or energy-consuming, so i tried to make them look really nice this time
This was the height of my Genshin fever, and the only prescription was playing it more and finally attempting to draw and write some stuff with it. Razor was the first actual character I drew, mainly cuz I love him lots, but also cuz I thought his design would lend well to my style.
I also made myself a Genshin sona, as well as ones for Michael and Val (not shown cuz i couldn’t get a design figured out for Val at all): Raven (me) is a Hydro sword user, Michael is an Anemo bow user, and Val is a Pyro claymore user. Wanted to try my hand at making my own Genshin-esque designs after having lots of opinions on the actual characters and doing a bunch of edits on some of them.
My Pokemon 25th anniversary pic was late, so it goes in here. I had such a fun time emulating Sugimori’s modern art style... even if it took forever to do.
Also Astra (my nb genshin traveler) got a redesign and I still haven’t made a proper ref for it. But they do look a lot cooler. I drew them at work :>
I wanted to draw more genshin, so I asked for genshin to draw, and I attempted only one. but Venti was a good one.
Got into Montero (Call Me By Your Name) too much and got Val vibes, and also watched Queer ✨ too much and loved the bisexual lighting in the third act too much, so. yeah. mix em together and that’s what i got
And in a twist of fate, Tales of Lostclan re-entered my brain space because The Creator Found My Post and contacted me about it and we started chatting and it was great so I drew a Pepperpaw gijinka and named him Aiden.
Another WIP I wanted to share was my sketch for another TOME server art challenge, with Zetto in the Zero Escape universe. I really liked the prompt but again, digitization was my enemy this year.

These are literally the only two things that happened this month. And they were both pretty late in. Drawing Diluc is easy to explain; I love him and wanted to try and draw him. The other one is much more interesting.
My friend @mew-cake started reading To Your Eternity (which later on in the year became an anime), and I enjoyed the bits and pieces she liveblogged. She posted something along the lines of “i wish i could write a story like this” and i was like Hell Yes let’s do it together. So we got to work, making a story I tentatively call Spirit of the Earth about an angel wanting to learn what life on Earth is like so it lives first as a tree, then a bird, then a cat, and then a variety of different humans. My recent fascination with philosophy and the themes Cake found within To Your Eternity inspired us to think on lots of aspects of life and love and hurt, and it was kinda beautiful. We should revisit it sometime.

and even though we were working on one original story, at the very end of the month, there was another idea coming together...
SURPRISE, IT’S A DIFFERENT ORIGINAL STORY. It’s okay, we didn’t expect this either, but it happened anyway.
Cake had been saying that it would be cool for the two of us to be cast as anime rivals, and I was like yeah that would be cool. And then I had the most massive shower thought on that and it spiraled into this story premise. As much as I would love to completely gush about this new story, I wanna still keep most of it under wraps, so I’ll give a basic rundown. The two main characters, the “anime rivals” as they were initially, are Roxy (red/sketch) and Lalun (blue/full color), who have the powers of the Sun and the Moon respectively. In a world full of alchemical magic where many people control elements based on the solar system, Roxy and Lalun are two special cases and they’re being forced to fulfill a cosmic destiny for reasons largely unknown to them.
Other characters here include: Alex (purple/sketch) who has the powers of Venus, which in this world corresponds with electricity; and Oliver (green/full color) who has the powers of Saturn, which are oriented with gravity control and telekinesis. These kids all go to school together and get into horrible situations against their will (and even at their will, sometimes). So all in all, it’s a time :3
One day we’ll show off all of our art for this, but for now, I’ll just give ya all the good stuff I did.
ALSO. WIP TIME BECAUSE I AM SO UPSET I NEVER REMEMBERED TO FINISH THIS. I liveblogged about SK8 The Infinity around this time too, and I loved it, and I drew parallels between the two main characters of that show with my two main OCs from The Dark Side: War on Destiny. So I drew Reki and Kyle together being cool bros

My Genshin brainrot has started to fade around now and it’d been replaced with Cosmic Legacy brainrot instead. I just... we loved these kids so much, man. So much cool stuff. Lots of funny filler. A whole bunch of suffering. Y’know. The usual.
I’ll just say it now too that most of August just had a few more Cosmic sketches. Not very much was happening with me creatively, and things were starting to grind me down. And, well... eventually things took a turn, and...
UH WHOOPS I GOT A GIRLFRIEND AND HER NAME IS STACEY AKA @wolf-of-hearts-den?????
Yeah, that also happened very suddenly. And we both had a lot of feelings to work out. It was a lot, and we couldn’t handle it very well - Stacey especially... considering the fact she had Two Partners now n all... but it all worked out. And all in all, it was an awesome moment, and a great turning point for me.
WIP time helps break up this part of the summary and i’m also pissed i couldn’t get this done in time because it was actually a timely piece. i started to do a 10 year anniversary redraw i’d been planning for Years and chickened out when it came to doing the background. so have this comparison with my Animal Jam OC Ferret for now

Since our relationship started pretty late into the last month, our feelings spilled out more into the month after. And Boy Howdy, were there feelings.
If I can be a little transparent, being able to freely express sexual feelings and thoughts with someone you trust is literally one of the most wonderful things. It’s just one more thing I don’t have to completely hide, and it feels awesome to be able to tell someone. And to have someone think of you and want you in that way? Absolutely insane. It still boggles my mind that someone can love me the way Stacey does. Honestly incredible.
also it’s not like i didn’t make any non-horny art during that time. they were just the only things i put effort into jklhjkl MOTIVATION HITS WHEN IT HITS, Y’ALL

Yeah, barely anything happened this month. The RW ref is only half-finished, and I had meant to get that done in August. But I gave it to someone to actually use as reference here, so it counts, okay?
Here we have an actually decent picture of another Cosmic Legacy character named Mercutio, who’s the not-so-good guy. But he does good things for people. He’s a good father... right?

Thank God I got the inspiration to finally do that TWEWY self-insert pic only a few days ago, or else this would have been very empty. Additionally we have A Cool Character That Shall Not Be Explained on the right, whom I have added mainly because they are very cool and a piece of art that I completed in this month that I am proud of, as well as another Cool Character that I would be happy to explain about.
So Stacey had recently been coming up with their own original story universe thing that’s essentially a radioactive wasteland full of animal mutants and hybrids. It’s mostly an excuse to make rad furry character designs, and I was all in on all of it, so I wanted to try and join in, so I made Calista! She’s a housecat/jellyfish hybrid with the ability to poison and shock people cuz that’s what jellyfish do. Haven’t done much with her, but she was a fun little character design challenge to do if nothing else :>
ANYWAY yeah this year sucked art-wise, but it was a good time regardless. I got a steady full-time job, I got car-driving abilities, and most importantly I have a lovely partner and wonderful friends to keep me sane and feel loved. No matter what happens in this year to come, all I know is I’ll make the most of it, and still find some things to make me happy.
...and maybe i’ll finally get some of those WIPs done OK BYE

Sims 4: Little Demon house
Okay here we go:
This is the outside, I think Eve and Kali would go something more pain looking, since they wouldn't want people to know where they live. Sims 4 still doesn't have cars but we garage doors, Eve would probably have a car outside and one inside
I always imagine that the sitting room and kitchen were more open plan.
Eve is old-school and likes CDs
Also the school bag is Ayame's
Also also next to the fireplaces are two consoles, those are Akali's, Ayame plays them here and there but prefers mobile games.
Eve has a bad habit of buying art because "It looks nice", I didn't know what to do with the space so I added a card-playing table.
Kitchen was decked out by Kai'sa and Akali. Eve just pick the colours.
Also Eve uses the coffee machine, the cookie jar next to it is for Ayame
Dining room was a pain in the ass to screenshot.
I always thought this was a separate room, like a add on ?
The mirror's a reference to ch 2 of Little Demon and of course, Ayame hide under the table in ch 1 and in Try ch 4 this is where Eve and Akali have they're talk.
Garage would have a car and a motorbike if sims 4 let us have those 😒
Anyways, Eve like to fix up her cars while Akali usually works out here, there's a lot of clutter since the pair usually throw whatever in here.
Originally, for the hallway, I was gonna have a rug but I decided against it because child. Also yes, Ayame does knock over those plants.
Bedroom, lots of items, Eve owns the tablet on top of the wardrobe, she likes to draw, she also wants to teach Ayame to play keyboard, usually Kali uses to write new music.
The trophies are mix of Kda and True damage awards. Drawer is a reference to Try ch4.
Other side of the bedroom. Mirror is a reference to ch 3 of Try, the fat cat poster is something Akali thought was funny and bought.
The other posters are signed posters/jersey Akali got, the jersey was signed by the team she supports, pics near the closet are fam photos.
Closet.
The boxes hold Akali's kunais from KDA/TD days, they're hidden from Ayame. The flag is from Akalynn's first pride, Akali hung it up in the closet and didn't realize the joke. Eve laughed at it and Akali was confused as hell😂
Study, actually hasn't shown up yet in the either fics Eve uses it for work, Akali usually games, Akali built the pc and really wants to build one with Ayame when she's older.
Also the flowers are for Kali and were given by Eve for Mother's day ref to ch 3 of little Demon.
Spare bedroom, this is where Seraphine slept in ch 5 of Try.
They tried to keep it neutral looking but Eve and Kali aren't great at that.
Ayame wants this room when she's older because Sera used it, also Ayame won't let anyone else use it.
Bathroom.
When Kali and Eve got the house, they only needed one bathroom, they're regretting that now 😅
They’ve thought about turning the closet into a bathroom but haven't decided on the colour of the tiles.
Hana's room.
Akalynn always plan to clean it out but never did, for any Sims 3 player, Hana's crib is actually the Panda crib from the sims store, I like how that crib looks.
They went for a nature theme because of Hana's nickname "little Cub"
Ayame's room.
Akalynn try not to use blues or pinks, Ayame's fav colours just so happens to be purple.
Also there's no tea sets in sims 4 so I put a block table instead.
This was originally the room Akali slept in ch 4 of Try during the break-up
Finally the backgarden, Akali likes gardening, she usually does up the garden.
Ayame likes it when Eve pushes her on the swing-set since it usually upsets Kali (ref to ch 4 of Try).
Kali usually plays basketball with Ayame, Ayame also lost one of her toys and they can't find it 🤔
Eve has security cams around the entrances, the front one is hidden cause Ayame doesn't like them.

Finale commentary under the cut
So I wanted to kind of liveblog as I was watching but held back so these are my remembered reactions/second watch reactions
Bummed there was no song recap but quickly figured itd play at the end
PUPPY. Best part of the ep, lbr, Dean was so cute with him
Theyre really doing a cheesey life montage huh - still not clear whether monsters are a thing in this new world?
I was watching the mins tick by during this first montage like OKAY we get it, cheesey happy home life, move along. There was only 40 mins left of the whole show like get on with it, it went way too long
We definately needed to restablished that Sam is neat while Dean is messy. Totally necessary to spend time on that. Also didnt Dean get houseproud when they moved into the bunker?? What happened to that?

Then becomes apparent that hunting is still a thing. Which if so what was the point of showing then doing fucking laundry and dishes while “Ordinary life” plays - if its not just an ordinary life?
At this point i thought it might go the route of them being listless without hunting as a job but then murder scene so I guess not

I started skipping through during the murder scene. I was bored. Like, I dont care about tension building to the murder of a family we dont fucking know. Ive always skipped these scenes, what is the damn point. Its not scary or interesting.

Watching it again I realise just how easy this hunt is. The answer is in the journal. They find the exact family. They find the exact barn. The kids are just stood in a cupboard. This is what takes Dean out, really? Its not even a normal hunt, its a way too fucking easy one.
I do not remember this chick or what ep she was in, maybe theres some parallell or foreshadowing by bringing her back but if there is I dont get it

I paused and tried to talk myself into putting aside how stupid and awkward it was for him to be doing this scene hanging off a pole and just try to invest in the emotion of the speech. Which I achieved at times
but why was is so awkward tho?? Just the way hes stood pressed against it is fucking weird. Also 1000% Sam couldve gotten help and he wouldve been FINE. It took so long for them to talk, an ambulance couldve been there before they were done, there was no need for this
Okay the speech did make me cry once I pep talked myself into being invested. The reference to being scared Sam would reject him, the I love you so much, Sam saying dont leave me, the stay with me and tell me its okay - all those moments got me and I did cry. I appreciated the family business line. I liked Jensen telling Jared he always keeps fighting, that was a nice reference.
BUT there were also those moments that made me scoff, roll my eyes or laugh. The whole “always you and me” bullshit especially. The second I knew he was going to say I’ll be in your heart I yelled at them to no do it, I hate that cheesey move, then literally was like “oh my god, he did it”. It WAS NOT always going to end like this - so much of the last 15 years was proving him wrong about that. This is all just so wrong, it is not good.
Jensen and Jared did a good job with what they were given in this scene but my god
The audacity of the Cas erasure- always you and me. FUCK YOU.
I laughed out loud when his last shot was a One Perfect Tear. I was literally like “Oh wow they did that”

I know people are upset Cas is back working in heaven but I dont think its anything like before. It sounds like he helped fixed things then got his own heaven. Also he’s God’s Dad, hes not serving God, hes teaching him. I know human Cas done right is what we wanted but I dont hate this for him. BUT WE SHOULD HAVE FUCKING SEEN IT.
Why is a memory of being a kid with his Dad what Dean is reminiscing on. They have literally reverted him back to s1. There are so many memories dean should be thinking about in fucking heaven

I did get a bit teary when the music started I’ll be honest. But mostly through the whole montage (ANOTHER ONE) I was saying to myself This is so fucking stupid. omg this is dumb, what the fuck is this, so stupid.
They literally did a montage so long they had to play the song twice. Im just done at this point wow.
The old man make up is so bad I just laughed. The only pictures being of the 4 of them, reinforcing the Winchester only bullshit, great. Not even pics of this new random family Sam’s got. The painfully cliche Dad moments for Sam, again so bad its funny. Omg the hand on the head of this random kid, this is so ridiculous. Old man sam in his bad wig trying so hard to move like hes old and crying in the impala. Wtf is happening, this is SO STUPID
I thought theyd cast a more attractive son I’ll be honest. So he has the tattoo - are they a hunting family? Because that would go against both s1 Sam they’ve tried to go back to and the s15 Sam they build up to for all those years
I know they were going for an emotional parallel with that “you can go now” but this random man saying it to Sam in that make up, with the music cue lined up right there - its just funny coz its so dumb im sorry

Okay, I know we still have the final to go, but given what we've seen so far what's everyone thinking about the Olympic roster? Who you think deserves to make it, who you want to make it, who is a definite no at this point, anything. Now, I basically know jack shit about soccer (I was a field hockey player, oops) but I definitely have some thoughts about who I want/think deserves to make it.
Let's start with the front line, shall we?
Christen Press. I mean, this one is obvious. In what universe does CP *not* make the roster? I'll tell you which universe - none. She's clearly having a moment, she's healthy, everyone loves her. She's in, signed, sealed, delivered. Put it on my grave.
Pinoe. Okay, okay, "she's only good on set pieces" people say. Yeah, and those are pretty important. And aside from last night's somewhat sub-par performance in that department, I think she's looked pretty damn good this tournament. Fit af. Plus there is something to be said for the leadership and experience the older players have to offer. I think the rest of the team respects her and values her, and she's super positive and supportive of everyone, which I love. As long as she stays healthy, she's in.
Heath. Whoo. Honestly, I don't think we got a good look at her, what with her limited minutes. But she's the nutmeg queen, she's great on corners, she's spicy, and she does that nifty little backheel thing. And again - experience. Definitely takes on a mentor role with some of the younger players. She's had some injuries going back to the end of the club season, but as far as I know they've been minor. I still cringe every time she gets fouled, but I think she'll be okay as long as Vlatko continues to be smart about managing her minutes until she's 100%.
AMorgs??? Okay, this one's loaded. I give her major props for continuing her training during pregnancy, and I 100% believe she has the drive to be match fit by July. That said, pregnancy and childbirth are unpredictable. If she ends up needing a c section (which I wish on nobody, fingers crossed for a nice, uncomplicated delivery) I don't think she'll be ready due to the recovery period. That is the only reason I hesitate to say she's going for sure but I am hoping for the best and want only good things for her.
Baby Mal??? I don't know. This is a tough one. As much as I miss her, I will admit to thinking (please don't kill me for this) that she looked kind of lost and unfocused in the friendlies last fall. She has the skills to be there, no doubt, it just seemed to me she wasn't connecting well with her teammates, wasn't anticipating where they would be, etc. But I love her and hope she works shit out.
Carlos??? She isn't starter material at this point. This tournament, for her, seemed to be about getting Carlos to the Olympics, not the USWNT. Not at her best, by a long shot, and unlike Pinoe I don't think the younger players really see her as a leader or mentor. Not gonna lie, I was rooting for her because I admire her drive and dedication to keep going, but she fell short here.
Now, I'm skipping ahead to goalies, because honestly that's the easiest.
Uncle Naeher. Biggest no-brainer along with Press. (Honestly...can anyone give me a valid reason for her not to start? I doubt it.) I think she proved both in international and club play last season that she deserves the starting spot. It's hers to lose, but she won't.
Ashlyn. I hesitate to say I'm 100% sure here, but it's a pretty good bet. Campbell or Bledsoe could sneak in there, but at this point I'm leaning towards not. We really didn't get a good look at where she is right now, what with there not being a whole lot of action on that end of the field, but apparently Vlatko likes her so I'm good with that.
Ugh. Now we have midfield and backs. Honestly the toughest spots to cut anyone because they're basically all looking rock solid.
Rose. Why tf would you cut Rose? That's right, you wouldn't. She's had a solid tournament. Would have liked to see more of her, but benching her against Costa Rica was prob a good call, given her yellow card from the previous game. (Confession - sometimes I feel like she falls in the "looks like she could kill you; would actually kill you" category. Anyone else get this vibe? Not necessarily a bad thing…)
Lindsey. Honestly, I feel like sometimes she doesn't get the credit she deserves. Does she ever have a *bad* game? Even when she's not at her best, she's still The Pretty Good Horan. Solid as a rock. Great one-touch passes. Has perfected the art of the header. Awesome volleys. Just got her first international hat trick, yay! Looks cool, calm, and collected, but is capable of being absolute chaos on main (exhibit A: That Game™ vs Utah). Leaves no square inch untouched as she roams from box to box. Minus last season's concussion (and maybe a minor hamstring injury last fall where she missed a friendly? Am I right?) she's been healthy, which is more than I can say for several others, so there's also that. And she's the love of my life, so I will accept zero criticism on this one.
JJ. She's fast, she's feisty (and sometimes ultra spicy), she and Dunn are adorable bffs, she's a leader. I have nothing bad to say about her. But I'm still kinda salty that Chicago beat Portland in the semis so that's as nice as I'm gonna get. (No hate though, really, she's fantastic.) She needs to stop giving me heart attacks with the couple-pics-that-could-be-pregnancy-announcements, though. One USWNT baby at a time, thanks.
Sammy. Well, she got herself two braces so far in qualifying (okay, that one goal was highly questionable, but the ref said goal so goal it is), so she's definitely made a strong case for herself. She's tall. She's able and willing to catch The Great Horan (you know, because she's the only one taller than The Great Horan). She panics over being the first one on the bus. The only thing I don't like about her? She plays for NCC. But honestly she's adorable, really fucking good, and I love her so I can overlook that.
KO. Okay, I'll admit I was nervous. Her first couple games were a little shaky, she had a few pretty big goof-ups (but I mean when she whiffed that one time she had literally just recovered from a savage attempt at breaking her ankles so I can't even blame her for that) but her ankles were away at war for like 6 months so what do you expect? Last night she was in fine form. She brings a great energy to the game, connects well with Tobito, has the Stanny connection with CP and some cute, newfound friendship thing going on with Horan, and is basically the ultimate hype girl (when she's not being the ultimate frat daddy). When you need a bitch, she's your woman. And she's hot. Like, HOT hot. As long as the ankles hold up, she's gotta be on that roster. I am rooting for those ankles. Hard.
Sonnett. Really did herself a solid with the minutes she had. No complaints from me. Almost scored a goal, and I'm not counting it out in the final. Not afraid to break ankles. She's scrappy, spicy, saucy, a sit-down comedian, a soft smiler, and a package deal with Horan. She deserves the world. The world (or at least the USWNT and its fans) deserves her. Please don't cut her, Vlatko. I beg of you. (I'm not saying if you cut her, I'll cut you, but like...I'm not NOT saying it, either...)
Krieger. What do I need to say except she showed everyone why Jello was an idiot not to play her. She's a beast. And I really, really, really need the wives to both make it bc I will cry if one does and the other doesn't.
Dunn. I mean, have you seen her? She's all over the field. She almost scored during her 100th cap. I've never seen her have a bad game. Voted best dancer on the team. The only problem? See Sammy above. F'n NCC. She deserves better, dammit.
Dahlkemper. Okay, don't sue me, but I really don't have any feelings toward her either way. A lot of people love her. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about her (except this one time I saw someone roast her on IG for following Honkle, but that's her business I guess) so that's good enough for me. Also she's pretty and posts thirsty comments on her teammates pics so basically I stan a supportive Abby.
Broon. Cool as a cucumber. The voice of reason. A literal angel. Captain Becky never lets us down.
Okay. Now for who I don't think will/should make it.
AD. This makes me really, really sad. I love AD. But she's the only player on the roster who didn't get any minutes, so I think that says exactly where she stands in Vlatko's eyes. It's a shame, because she's amazing, but it's super hard to choose between her and Ash.
Lynn. Clearly Vlatko sees something in her, and tried really hard to make it happen. It didn't happen. I was kind of rooting for her, just because everyone else seemed to be against her, but she just didn't seem to connect with the rest of the team. She's fast, I'll give her that, but it's not enough.
Jmac. Another one I was rooting for just because everyone else was against her. She has talent, and when she's on she's great, but she wasn't connecting with the others.
Moe. Nothing against her, just no compelling reason to cut anyone else for her. Injury-prone, which obviously isn't good.
Allie. See Moe, minus the injuries. Bonus points for social media content, though.
Baby T. No clue where she stands with the injury. If she's 100% I have absolutely no reason why she shouldn't be on the team, but I don't know who I'd cut to keep her. If she isn't 100% I'd rather she take the time to heal completely. I know it was reported that she'd be ready to resume training around February, but a while back she herself said she didn't think she'd be 100% by the Olympics so who tf knows. She's SO young and could have 2-3 Olympics (and World Cups) ahead of her so no need to risk a career-ending injury by rushing it. But if she IS ready I'm down for her being an alternate (or, heaven forbid, making roster in the event that anyone else is injured). I like Tierna. I want a long, successful career and only good things for her.
Player I selfishly just want on the team because I like her.
Midge. She was a Thorn, so maybe I'm a little biased, but she's good, she's young (but not *young* young and inexperienced), she's versatile. I like her. A lot.

how you met: it was at night on the beach when the sun started to set, you were reading (your favorite book) for what felt like the 100th time, and you didn’t notice the frosted tipped boy sitting on the sand, clothes getting all wet from the ocean. he looked like he was crying, and you really wanted a pic of the sunset but he was in the way. the sun was setting faster and faster so you decided to just take the picture, but when topper’s figure came out like a silhouette, you knew it was a great piece of art. you were all like “excuse me, i took a picture and you’re in it, but you can’t tell it’s you since the sunset is in the background. i’m luna by the way” and he was like “sounds nice, i’m topper.”
and so it skyrocketed from there.
your first date: topper actually stood you up on your first date. he was running late because of an encounter with the pogues, well, rafe held him up. the date was supposed to be a cute outdoor movie on the beach with a screen and fairy lights which he set up himself. the movie was beginning and he showed up late, apologizing about 100 times and you said it was fine and you watched the movie :)
your first i love you: you and topper were watching netflix on the couch, and he was constantly texting some dude from school about a girl. you saw a text and it said “stop man, she’s still beautiful,” and topper sent it. the dude sent a photo which apparently was from a party you and topper were at, in the photo booth, but to send it, the photo was cropped on topper’s screen, and he had to press on it to see the full thing. it was a girl with blonde hair, but you looked fast and didn’t realize it was you. you thought it was sarah so you asked topper “do you still love sarah cameron? be honest” and he said “no luna, i love you and only you,” and you said “i love you too top”
i love these but i get so carried away😂 this was fun tho :)
