Febuwhump Day Three: "Bite down on this."

Warnings: Burns

Word count: 175

Author's notes: I had a while ago when I was getting loads more ideas for Hanibe's backstory. So yes, here.

Hanibe yelped, yanking her hand back from the hot metal.

Beatrice quickly walked over with a bucket of water, plunging the elf's hand into it.

“Keep it in there until it’s cooled,” she instructed.

Hanibe frowned but obeyed as the hand slowly cooled down again.

She removed her hand, trying to go back to melding the metal.

It burnt and stung again and she screeched.

Beatrice simultaneously placed a rag in her mouth and moved her hand back into the bucket. “Bite down on this.”

Her screams were muffled as the water got into the open wounds.

“Metal is painful went hot. Don't do that again.”

Hanibe nodded mutely and warily side-eyed her project.

Beatrice sighed and used tongs to pick up the project, taking it over to the water trough and placing it in there.

The adult then bustled around the workshop for a few more minutes before returning to the young elf with a roll of bandages.

“Hand.”

Hanibe placed her hand in Beatrice's strong, calloused grip. “Don't do that again, alright?”

“Okay.”

Sibling time! Promised I’d rant about them since they won the poll and then got distracted immediately forgive me lmao. At long last though I present you lot with some sibling lore!

Ben has one older brother, William

I think he’s about 20 and going to a local art college

He’s a very easy going and sweet guy, but can still be every bit as chaotic as Ben if given the chance

He’s sneaky like that

Due to a childhood accident he’s actually paralyzed from the waist down so he uses a wheelchair, which he has absolutely painted all over

He’s also made some cool wheel covers for it but doesn’t have them on all the time

Oh! And he plays guitar

He and Ben are both adopted and were actually adopted together, but I’m not sure if they’re bio siblings or not

They just refused to be separated

Will is a master at several card games and can and will take everything you own if you challenge him to poker so just

Don’t do it lmao

He owns a cat who likes to sit on his lap while he paints and such and it’s really cute

Oh also he tastes like sweet cinnamon

Now for James’s siblings!

He’s the oldest of four, with his three little siblings actually being triplets!

Their names are Patrica, Beatrice, and Jackie

Which obviously means he calls them PB&J

Two girls and a boy, and I think they’re probably somewhere around 9 years old

Pat is the ‘oldest’ I think and she’s definitely the chaotic leader

Gal really loves to drag her siblings into all sorts of trouble

She loves sword fighting with her siblings and climbing every tree she sees

The trio always comes home covered in dirt and leaves and James is the one who usually has to wash them off

Which isn’t easy cause they bite

Well, mostly Pat bites

Bea loves arts and crafts most of all

She’ll make all kinds of little paper chains and draws over every available surface

She also likes making little fairy houses

Jackie is the little baby nerd of the group

He loves space and dinosaurs and the ocean

Little man is an expert

Pat and him love playing dinosaurs while Bea prefers pretending to be a dolphin

Little Jack is definitely the most affectionate of the lot

He loves being carried around by James any chance he gets and will cling to his back like the little monkey he is

All three adore Ben

More OCS: Beatrice return

I have GOT to figure out a design for Beatrice's boss Queen Bee but every time I try to draw her I don't like it im going to try and make her in the sims. Anyway, beatrice meets Queen Bee while she's in undergrad for costume design (queen bee is in grad school). Queen is a drag queen and when they meet still identifies as a man but later transitions with the support of Beatrice. Queen sees Beatrice's talent and kind of takes her under her wing lol. Their whole relationship is very toxic yuri but its fun so its fine. Queen bee takes advantage of Beatrice and her work a LOT but Beatrice doesn't do anything about it because she loves queen. Eventually she does end up standing up for herself and they both die or something Idk im still working on it. I support womens rights and their wrongs I need Queen Bees design to be as beautiful as possible.
