I keep seeing people talk about Palestine as if all hope is lost like they’re already gone and “the least we can do it remember them” and quite frankly I reject that. These people are fighting for their lives demanding the world to pay attention to them. Demanding their freedom and their right to exist on their own land. In light of the absolute atrocity that is happening in Rafah I am urging everyone to remember why we’re protesting and that these people ARE HERE. They’re alive, they’re real, they have a beautiful culture that needs to be witnessed and celebrated so here are some Palestinian creators you should follow because Palestine is not lost. It is not an empty land that’s gone. They will never be gone and we should all keep fighting until Palestine is free and not a second before because Palestine WILL be free again. I’m focusing mostly on Palestinian creators on tiktok because I think it’s important to see the physically and listen them and just acknowledge that they’re people, they should have linktrees to their other social media. I encourage you to visit their pages and interact with them because they are also being censored especially on tiktok. My platform isn’t big here so please feel free to reblog and also add more links, I would love to follow more Palestinian creators as well!
None of us are free until we all are. From the river to the sea. 🇵🇸🕊️🍉
@/mxriyum - a Palestinian woman who shares her amazing recipes passed down from her mother. She hasn’t posted in a while but there are many Palestinian recipes on her page that are absolute delicious. Please give them a try.
@/anat_international - a Palestinian woman giving updates on what is happening in Gaza but also shares about Gaza before the genocide. She is currently being heavily censored by tiktok for talking about the genocide and is doing more “influencer” like videos to beat the algorithm. So she’s sharing more stuff about the culture like Tatreez clothing, and organizing pottery painting sessions with people who are palestinian and allies. Extremely informative! She’s taught me so much.
@/sammyobeidthem - a Palestinian man who is a comedian. Genuinely so funny! And proudly Palestinian and talks about Palestine in his sets!
@/elyanna - a Palestinian singer. Her voice is insanely gorgeous. She has a song that has not been released on spotify called olive branch that is about the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
@/monamakeupdoll - a Palestinian make up artist, she’s absolutely gorgeous! She share tips and tricks and make up brands that support Palestine!
@/thatfalahigirl -A Palestinian Influencer she has a link in her link tree to purchase a Keffiyah if you haven’t yet there is even a discount! All proceeds go to Gaza via Pious Projects! She shows various ways to wrap it and shares her cultural clothes and I learned what dabke is because of her and it looks like so much fun!
@/amalzhamm - A Palestinian influencer she posts about her lifestyle and food and her family and it’s just so important right now to see happy Palestinian people. Palestinian mothers and fathers and children just existing. Like all of us do every day. And she shared this absolutely beautiful video of what palestine is like.
I’m going to end with this next one the very first person I saw on tik tok that educated me through his videos on Gaza and Palestine in October last year.
@/iamsbeih - a Palestinian influencer he posts about what is happening right now and what has been happening to the Palestinian people for over 70 years. He talks about his own family and his roots in Palestine the correct way to pronounce Gaza and Palestine. Just so much crucial information and i’m so grateful for him being willing to spend the time making these videos to educate people like me. He even posted a couple of palestinian songs (iirc they’re folk songs a lot of Palestinians in the comments know them) recently and they’re very beautiful.
Thank you. Free Palestine.

I have this one leatherjacket (my dad’s old one lol, very oversized on me but hoping in a cool way) that I’ve been meaning to take the shoulder pads out bc I’ve got enough shoulder as is & fits weird with those. But guess when do I decide to do it?
A) when I have ample freetime
B) when I have a very non-negotiable important deadline in a few days that I’m already behind on

Just witnessed the most stereotypical usamerican interaction where a guy was trying to order a STEAK at a COFFEE SHOP on the grounds that he’s tired of eating same things (bagels) and they serve bagels with grilled chicken which is essentially the same if you think about it

Literally how/why is it so difficult to understand or believe people when they talk about misophonia? Why is it so easy to believe people have difficulty hearing but not when people have oversensitive hearing? Why does everyone react with mockery, even in spaces that are supposedly so “disability friendly” or full of allies or whatever?
I want to claw my face off. I still see people online here make and reblog posts about how misophonia symptoms (never using the word, though, not sure how well known that part is) are just the result of pampered individuals having to share space with others for the first time or something. What happened to believing mentally ill or neurodiverse people when they talk about their experiences and symptoms?? Yes, we’ll support self diagnosing, unless it’s the “hating noise” disease, lol. Then you’re just fussy and deserve to be made fun of.
Certain sounds make you self harm? lol what an idiot, maybe try to actually be around people. Chewing noises physically cause you pain? Time to chew even louder until you have a meltdown or have to leave or scream or something equally funny. And then let me write a clever post about it so everyone else can laugh at your antisocial ass, too. Touch some fucking grass.

I’m gonna be real with you guys, I kind of dread the idea of trying to raise any future kids in this church
#and it’s not because i don’t believe the faith. obvs i do#but like in practice i’m either going to be going by myself or with my mom & siblings or whoever#i don’t have any friends my age so idk how i’m gonna find good friends for future kids#and obvs i want them to have good friends#i do believe in the virtues of friendship and believe it’s an important thing for people to experience and work at#but also i’ve had a lot of heartbreak in friendship and have a complicated relationship with it#and when i think back on my own childhood in churches it was always so turbulent#both because my family didn’t gel with the cultures/ideals of so many parishes#and because my dad made enemies everywhere we went (for obvious reasons but still)#that wasn’t us kids’ fault#but it didn’t matter#i thought i had adults to look up to in faith#but i have literally none i have a close relationship with#and even the ones i respect that doesn’t mean they’re good around kids#or would like hanging out with me#and i don’t want just any random person thinking because they’ve talked to me a couple times#that they get say in the close intimate decisions or issues i have with my spouse or children#the whole thing is strange tbh#like i don’t even want to have a close relationship with some priests even if i respect them or like them#and too many priests think that just cause they see you once a week they know you and should have a say in things they know nothing about#idk man catholicism in america and maybe the world is just. so hard nowadays.

i have to say i find the way ppl talk abt gaylors to be strange…..i’m not one myself but as a lesbian i don’t like the way ppl act like gaylors are evil somehow for calling tswift a lesbian like in reality who cares…….truly i think it’s bc they r the only mainstream group of women speculating on the sexuality of a celebrity woman to that degree of fame. bc tswift fans who r obsessed w her heterosexual dating life r not in any way subject to scrutiny by ppl in general no one cares. and as much as there has been general debates on the ethics of speculating the sexualities of celebrity men and making fun of ppl that do there is a vastly different tone abt it. like ppl make fun of them and say they shouldn’t do it and whatnot (although i would like to point out that similarly this is mostly done by woman & all of this very much takes on a look at these silly women tone) but like there is a tone of superiority around ppl who dunk on gaylors and very much a tone of like look at these delusional women who have convinced themselves that someone sooooo obvs heterosexual is a lesbian aren’t they crazy. there is smth in particular abt talking abt a woman possibly being a lesbian that really rubs ppl the wrong way perhaps bc it is the antithesis of a woman’s role & it makes ppl uncomfortable to think a celebrity woman who has been marketed to them as being an ideal woman could potentially defy her expected role……i personally don’t think she is a lesbian but like other ppl calling lesbians delusional for thinking she is bothers me……so i am coming out to you all as a gaylor ally i stand w gaylors

Ok fine fine fine I’ll share my takes with the class.
FIRST OF ALL THO. Jrwi art dump coming soon MAYBE.
Okay anyway I see everyone saying butch Arthur Bennet which is fucking awesome, I love that, but I have to inform the masses that while listening on my own time I decided he’s transhet and I am attached to this concept now sory </3 I’ve also seen everyone talking abt Emizel and Soda and idk what’s going on behind the scenes with that so I will just believe you, yeah he’s gay. I thought about saying he’s bi but as it happens I was once again projecting.. also I think he’s nonbinary but not yet. Like he’s having what happened to Jonathan Archives. The horrors occur and you die but don’t really die but there are more horrors so you never really have time to process the feeling of being not a man as in not human and also just literally not a man. Ok last one forgive me for my insanity I think Prince Shilo is cis and sucks abt it. I think gender roles are baked into him but he also thinks they don’t apply to him or apply differently bc he is royalty . Heteronormativity isn’t real with vampires tho in fact I’d even bet on homonormativity. Yeah he’s gay, he’s flirty with his guards, yeah.

“Why didn’t x character(s) just do this?? Then everything would’ve been solved!!”
Yeah well, that wouldn’t have made for a very compelling story meant to last over 120 minutes/multiple episodes/seasons now would it?

i do still idly think abt organizing a pride tww event bc like. there are wonderful queer writers in the fandom who are, in my experience, wildly undersupported in comparison to het writers which like. isn’t even criticism the way it would be two years ago bc i see a lot of the people who write now and i have nothing but love for them but. at the same time i wish that the queer creators in this fandom were given a greater sense of explicit support and community
