September 9, 2019

Cameron held her cat Mack in her arms as she walked to the rink looking for her dad, she walked through the tunnel to the bench seeing a player on the ice shooting on the net and she could easily tell he wasn’t her dad.

John spun around at the sound of a meow and saw a young girl who was holding a cat in her arms, “Hello?” John asked questionably skating slowly to then bench.

“Your new aren’t you?” Cameron asked curiously as she stepped onto the ice in just her tennis shoes, something she has done many times before.

“I am, I’m John.” John soflty introduced himself, he raised a slightly surprised eyebrow seeing her step onto the ice confident with no skates and he had a feeling she was one of the players kids, “What’s yours and your friends name?” John softly asked giving the cat a curious glance.

“I’m Cameron,” Cameron smiled and was happy he asked about her cat, “And this is Mr.Mack.” Cameron seriously introduced her cat, Mack held out his paw towards John making him smile, “We are working on his greetings.” Cameron informed John very seriously, She’s been teaching Mack many tricks.

“Well hello Mr. Mack.” John smiled and gently shook the cat’s paw before scratching him under his chin and making the cat purr softly.

“He likes you.” Cameron bluntly stated nodding looking happy, “He doesn’t like my dad.” Cameron snickered slighty remembering how many times already her dad and Mack have got into little fights.

“Yeah?” John asked curiously smiling as he looked at the two.

“Mhm.” Cameron nodded making her pony tail shake up and down, “Mr. Mack doesn’t like sharing and doesn’t like when Dad try’s to sit with us.” Cameron smiled looking at her best friend and gave him a kiss on the top of his fluffy head.

“Cam Bug! There you are.” Sidney called out as he walked down the tunnel not surprised to see his daughter on the ice and with Mack, “Marino.” Sidney gently greeted his new rookie.

“Hi.” John simply nodded sharing a overdramatized look with Cameron making her giggled softly and John snicker.

Sidney smiled fondly, he is always glad that the team has always loved and accepted Cameron so easily but he wasn’t that surprised as Cameron was easy to love.

Mack hissed when Sidney stepped onto the ice and gently brushed a hand over Cameron’s head, “Hello to you too Mack.” Sidney sarcastically greeted to his daughter’s cat who absolutely seems to hate him but for some odd reason likes Nate.

“Ready to go? You have practice soon.” Sideny asked his daughter and his favorite person, Cameron nodded and her ponytail shook.

“Bye Johnny!” Cameron smiled and waved at her new friend as her dad put an arm around her shoulder as they walked off the ice.

“Bye Cam!” John smiled softly.

Imagine for the Willy and Tilly au Matilda was the famous singer on her brothers team rather than Micheal. It would be so iconic and everyone would love it.

Wait that would be so funny 😭

And she’s stood there talking to her brothers for their first pick going “I want my boyfriend.” As she crosses her arms and Jack and Quinn both shut that idea down “you know if we don’t talk him Aus will!” Tilly groaned not realising that her mic went hot.

So as the crowd cheers she can’t help but let her cheeks turn red as she locks eyes with Willy who is grinning from ear to ear that his girl fought for him “should we just give her him?” Quinn proposed being the first person to break as it made Jack groan “fine but only because we won’t hear the end of this from mom if we don’t.” Ellen adored Willy for how well he treated her daughter and she made the boys know that he was what a good boyfriend looked like.

Tilly got to draft her boyfriend which made her grin and on top of that she ended up getting a great reward which had her chest heaving between her sheets.

What’s Tilly’s relationship like with Queen Ellen and Jim and the her brothers? I just know Queen Ellen is her bestfriend.

okay so I’m doing this with each person separately! Because I love this question!

Quinn: they fought like every other week when they were at the house together. But the moment she moved out to university in New York Quinn was messaging her every day asking how she was and what she was doing. Now they love each other as they talk every couple of days and when she makes the tour dates she has to send the Vancouver stops to Quinn so he can confirm that at least one of the stops works well enough for him.

Jack: he’s always been her quiet supporter. When she first released her songs he was rewatching it on YouTube to help get the views up. He makes the boys come along on the days he goes to watch her perform because Jack doesn’t like admitting that he literally won’t shut up about her. He’s kind of like that because Matilda will literally surprise him on the most random days to go to his games. All Jack honestly wants is for Matilda to never stop being proud of him.

Luke: he is her baby brother and she treats him like that too. This boy loves it though because he idolises his sister, like when he was a kid he used to follow her around. Now that he is older and is playing hockey full time Matilda has to remind herself that he is growing up. Luke is her favourite because they never fought given how much he loved her. She went to his NHL debut, watched his first goal, last college game, she was there through all of it. When he plays Toronto Matilda wears his merch before Willys too.

Jim: as the only daughter she is the apple of his eye. She’s the only one who can sit in his chair, be in charge of his barbecue and grill at the lake house. Jim is also obsessed with supporting his daughter so he comes along to random sessions in building the albums.

Ellen: as the only two girls in the house they are best friends. Whilst Jim was helping the boys play hockey Ellen was taking Matilda to singing and piano lessons. So she was honestly her number one supporter throughout all of her life and struggles in her career. Ellen also lives in the merchandise that Matilda makes, like mamma Hughes is the number one person on her PR list because this woman knows all the words to her songs and is there for every major performance that happens on tour.

Matilda made Willy go for a drive after she got the demo for a new song.

She was terrified to see what he had to say about it because she had written it about him “so what do you think?” Matilda turned the volume down as the backing track ended “I think you did really well Matty.” William smiled as he pulled into the car park.

They had found a car park building that they would go to at the top for hours on end where they would just talk together and sometimes get dinner together there too “I’m proud of you.” He added making her smile widen.

William had to admit that he was sort of jealous to hear her talk about a guy like that who turned such love “it’s about you.” Tilly’s confession made him stop as he tapped his fingers along the steering wheel “you better not screw with me Hughes.” He called her by her last name when she was irritating him “I’m being serious I promise.” As Matilda nodded she leaned on the center console “god you’re gonna get me killed.” Willy mumbled closing the gap between them both.

They both just sort of stared at each other before he placed his hand on her cheek. His lips shut over hers as Willy kissed her.

Tilly took a few seconds before she kissed him back “Mat.” Willy groaned after a few seconds needing to breathe as he pulled away leaving her hands on his cheeks “wait.” She giggled pecking his lips again before she smiled staring at him.

Definitely do it before Willys games and Matilda’s concerts.

Willy loves seeing her before a big concert because she always looks so happy with the adrenaline coursing through her veins. Yet the more specific reason is that he can eat her out without her complaining or trying to go down on him instead.

He says he does it to protect her vocal cords when in actual fact he just loves seeing his girl from this angle.

Because they kept their relationship quiet from everyone for so long when they told the world it finally let them be physical when they were out.

Willy is obsessed with Matilda when he’s drunk. Which actually works out perfectly for them because Matilda gets clingy.

So often times you’ll either see them on the dance floor together or in a corner of the room with her pulled onto his lap as he rests his chin on her shoulder.

Tilly became Mitch’s second favourite girl in Toronto (after Steph ofc) because they straight up became as thick as thieves from the moment they met.

When Willy can’t find Tilly he calls Steph because it’s usually Mitch and Tilly being stupid as they catch up for their gossip sessions 😭
