Musician Eddie Munson

Ok hear me out, I know we all love Eddie being a musician and Corroded Coffin content, but trust me: Eddie Munson would love Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO). 

Now I know it’s past Christmas time but TSO does have non-holiday music, particularly their Night Castle and Beethoven albums. Give them a listen, trust me. TRUST ME. 

I love the idea of Eddie in a modern AU being super into TSO, but I also am frothing at the mouth at the idea of Eddie making TSO music (either as a member of the band, or making this Corroded Coffin’s catalog or something??) 

I also have a pet headcanon about Steve being trained in classical piano at his mother’s insistence as a kid, and maybe his father insisted he stop or maybe he still practices sometimes but isn’t loud about it. Either way, Eddie hears him playing some Rimsky-Korsakov one day and it ends up inspiring Corroded Coffin’s newest song, A Last Illusion. Maybe Steve joins the band as their pianist? THERE ARE SO MANY OPTIONS.

Also, TSO was founded by some of the members of Savatage,  which is a metal band from the 80s/90s that is so Eddie Munson coded. 

Anyway that’s all for now, but please let me know if you want to discuss because I have 8000 more hours worth of thoughts about TSO music and Steddie. I’ve never posted this kind of stuff before but I simply had to tell someone before I exploded.
