Just a big reminder for everyone : No, I do NOT do requests (nor suggestions), and I do NOT do commissions either...

When I draw, it’s only whenever I feel like it, for whatever reason I feel is good. No requests, nor any suggestions that pushes me to do things, I can already find enough ideas to draw.

And I don’t really like the pressure of having someone wanting something from me. I prefer being guided by what I want to draw. And when I do something for someone, those are gifts !

Gifts means that I willingly drew something for that person because it was a good friend and all, or simply because of Bdays perhaps... And before thinking of “asking for gifts”, it’s the same deal than requests : NO ! It’s like begging for it, it’s even worst !

Tho I’m not shaming, nor targeting anyone, just sharing the fact that I don’t do requests nor commissions.

It’s to be really clear on that point...

Non-profit Fan Comics (From a Penniless Artist).

Even though I'm out of work and broke, I don't feel it right to charge money for my comics or do paid commissions. I am not saying it's bad. Some people may need to do paid commissions, especially if they either have no other form of income, have no living parents or working parents to help them out or they need more money to pay their expenses that even their job won't provide. But even if I do need the money, I'm not all that good at requests and I'll certainly not be at commissions. I'm getting the support I need by doing chores for my neighbors, if they ever get paid properly in the first place. Most of the people in the neighborhood work at jobs that will send them home when there is nothing for them to do. So most of my chores all end up being volunteer work. As for my comics, I may have to post two pages of Underhunt and wait to complete the next pages. I need another black marker after I apparently used up the Neopiko brush marker that came with my manga kit. I should keep a lot of them on hand since I do a lot of beta (black panels and backgrounds) in my comics. Anyway, Happy Valentine's day. I'm going to spend mine cleaning or doing whatever alone.
