Wait, if the reason the Pirates couldn't use flux was because they're from different planets, then couldn't they use it now in this tournament? Or is it because they're all from Shiloh and it doesn't have a flux? I once read an idea somewhere that they didn't use flux because it can be tracked so they couldn't train with it, or maaaybe the Flux Society only let them play on the condition they don't use it, as their doings are a bit too opaque for their liking? Many questions.

Just realised there has been like zero development for Lun-Zia in terms of integrating with the team. She's from a completely different planet, they could have done so much with this but she just... fits in just like that? I know that later there's some stuff about her wanting to stay with the SK and learn the Breath but... it just feels weird to have none of that development when she actually joins the team

Warren is just as surprised as I am, although honestly I have no idea how this development didn't get out to the press sooner. This is also so thrown in, you'd think there'd be more discussion or reaction on there being two Akillian teams in this tournament??

oooo seeing Warren's teleporting from his perspective is pretty cool

I was about to rant that there's no way Warren would be troubled by the Red Tigers, flux or not, but ok fair he has the resonance because of Netherball. He only played in one match though, and all the Lightnings are good players, the team doesn't just suddenly suck because Warren's having a bad day

The Xenons have a Cyclops? Ok then, would've been too OP otherwise haha

Y'know I feel like they could have done more with this whole mixed flux thing, like found more creative ways for the team members to work together. So far, nothing would change if the tournament was still single flux, well except Lun-Zia

HOW THE FUCK DID THE TECHNODROIDS EVEN SCORE A GOAL? Keeper must have gotten bored and taken a nap, fair enough

I like Warren's dignified little clap with the audience haha, he's a true champion

Episode 9:

Sinedd saying the Shadows will win bc they've always been a mixed flux team – I mean I guess mixed species but not flux as Sinedd had to learn the Smog. But also I'm gonna take the chance to give the Shadows points for inclusivity because they seemed to have no problem mixing the team up even before this tournament

I wonder if there was a taboo against that due to the flux wars not being that long ago, I mean the teams are already like our national football teams so most would only want to play for their planet, but it's gotta be even weirder if you switch teams and there are still tensions between your people. So this mixed flux tournament could have been a big political moment if the show explored that side more.

Ok the shading on the characters is bothering me, was it always so dark in the previous seasons? They look like they're always standing infront of a bright light.

OK I like that it's Micro-Ice who gets suspicious of Paradisia with all the weird stuff going on, cute he goes up to Tia about it and she's immediately down for some investigation work despite going on about how amazing the place is a few minutes ago.

One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig

hmmm, it wasn't bad per se - tho it took some time to really get going and effort to wrap my head around some things - but it didn't live up to the hype

the writing.. wasn't bad just.. idk felt v matter of fact and void of emotion? wasn't really vibing with it tbqh

it took about 30% for things to really get going/really interest and hook me, and also for me to sorta wrap my head around this world, the characters and the magic/card system. it did progressively get better and the second half was def a step up, and that chalice/truth serum game scene was def one of the highlights of the book, both for the elspeth/ravyn bits and the elm/ione crumbs

I liked elspeth and ravyn well enough and you know what, they got some pretty nice couple-y moments that had me👀🥺 - but.. I just didn't really feel their rs and its progression of strangers to lovers, yeah they r hot, yeah they have some similar life experience, yeah they have the same goal and are united to reach it, but still, just, didn't really feel it, idk maybe it was the writing, maybe something else, its hard to put my finger on it. I'm on board with them and could appreciate them and their sweet/badass moments, but ig not as much as I had hoped I would? - not bad, but ain't as good as it could've been (could be the tag line of the book)

I knew elm and ione would be a thing in book 2, so I paid close attention and their interactions, and while few and smol they were so👀🥺😏 like their shared smirks at his bro's expense or the bit where hauth was using her and elm took her face in his hands then overpowered his bro to free her. I loved the elm/ione crumbs and was v much lookin forward to more in the next book

(I started last night, and they are already serving, tho ione is pretty hard to read ngl, but elm? with his secret crush on her, even from before gahhhhh)

big fan of venom and symbrock, so I'm always down for parasitic rs lmao - the nightmare and elspeth had an interesting thing going, tho honestly the big reveal of who it/he was was so easy to spot, the fact it took the poor girl 11 years to realise is💀

the card thing is interesting to be sure, but tbh the whole thing + the royal fam who's who was a bit hard to wrap my head around, I had to stop and look up a guide💀 it got a bit better once I found a cards summary of which card can do what and what's it cost + a list of characters and who they relate to, but still I shouldn't need to rely on some guide lines xd

and tbqh I still don't really get some of the card stuff.. like, I get that they are trying to unite the deck and break the Curse or whatever, and it's been pretty clear that there's only a certain number of cards and the whole deck makes 78, nothing more nothing less, but the way the story went gave the impression that there were several decks? which isn't the case, but that's how it came across? cos the king was looking to unite the deck, was looking for the twin addlers, which makes one think that he has most of the rest, but then our guys were also doing the same and said they only had a couple left, at the end they only needed the well and the twins.. but? the guards had their black horses and the royal fam had their red scythes and ione had a maiden, the king had the 2nd nightmare, other people were seen carrying around other colors? how? if team ravyn had all, but the last 2 cards in their possession, hidden away then how come there were all those cards moving around and even if we assume they were planning on taking away the guards and royals cards that would still take time and maneuvering and those cards weren't in their possession yet, so it really don't add up for me - cos again, there's only one deck, but it felt like there were more cards floating around, unless team ravyn didn't actually have all the cards, but it was said that they did?! ion get it fam

also again the writing, honestly the action scenes and the elspeth/nightmare attacking scenes and just some stuff in general was sometimes a bit hard to follow

so yeah, interesting premise, great characters, some good rs moments, but the emosh development of it didn't really come across for me, the writing wasn't my fav and some magic/world building/cards related stuff just really was not clear - the potential was there, the execution could've been better

PS.: one more thing; for how close elspeth and ione were supposed to be and how ione was el's fav cousin you'd think she'd be more worried about her and more proactive to at least try to help her, even if they had an argument about ione wanting her to let her make her own choices and yeah I get that el had a lot on her plate and all, but whenever ione was present she tried her best to help elspeth out and their rs felt v one sided in that sense tbh (maybe it's my ione bias speaking, but that's just how I felt🤷🏻‍♀️)

she has a nice voice and her narration was good, but I felt like she didn't really have the distinct character vices down. I recently listened to the Dark in You series and say what you want about that narration (particularly harper's bratty voice) when someone spoke I knew exactly who it was, each character had such a distinct voice - not here tho, there was a distinction between male/female sure, but there were times when say elspeth shouted but it was in a voice closer to ravyn's than her own idk it wasnt bad, but it could've been a bit better yano)

We are only a few days away from This man’s concert and aside from the announcement there’s been no promotion, no bts footage hyping up people, nothing. It’s like he doesn’t even care…So, it got me thinking and doing some digging and I think there’s trouble in paradise between our twin flames, so buckle up because I dug DEEP lol!

Apparently, miss Jules’ show is all about loss and grief and regrets but yet finding the will to push forward and continue smiling or whatever, but there’s surprisingly no mention of being appreciative of long time friends or finding love unexpectedly. Which, would’ve been the perfect time, IMO, to throw in a little nugget of speculation: people would’ve ate that shit up AND there would’ve been buzz around her, which is her whole purpose in life.

Then, there’s the fact that she flew to Jeddah around the same time that Freddy got married. Think about it, this woman is preparing her first BIG show (her words) and she flies abroad for 48hrs to a festival that was full of has-beens (no offense, but I don’t remember the last time I heard anyone mention the name of Sharon Stone) right in the middle of all this prepping. Now, this could be a huge coincidence but it’s kinda sus that she flies away seemingly on a whim and This man is nowhere to be seen on the wedding pictures and doesn’t post ANYTHING about it, so much so that we’re not even sure he went!

And then there’s yesterday’s mysterious ig story. After her first super duper show, miss Jules posts a quote about how sometimes second chances are just patterns of behaviour if there’s no change or some bs, I think implying that sometimes you shouldn’t give second chances (so wise!).

Could this be about Ben? I mean realistically it could be about anything or anyone, but what if she’s a bit cross with him because she expected to go to the wedding as his +1 and being the spineless idiot that he is cancelled on her last minute. This would explain why she up and left to the festival if she was already planning on being out of NYC around that time.

Sorry for the super long analysis! I’m currently waiting at the doctor’s office and had some time to kill haha! Hope you’re doing well💕

Digimon Adventure: 2020 – Episode 48: The Attack Of Machinedramon (Review)

Thoughts on the forty-eighth episode of the Digimon Adventure reboot series.

Well, this is more like it! :D

Narration is going on about important plot-stuff. Could this be a non-filler!? I think so! :D WE FINALLY MADE IT OUT OF FILLER HELL, GUYS! \o/

Leomon just pops back up out of nowhere, lol. A very convenient castle started to grow on Eldoradimon that lets him contact the kids . . . I think there was definitely more of a story here with Leomon’s survival, that Toei had to shove aside due to COVID, 100%. :P

And Lopmon has very conveniently met up with Leomon and his crew! Wow. So many conveniences here. :P I understand, though. But I still judge. :P

ngl, Sorato looked super cute sitting next to each other. Don’t you think they would make a super cute couple in a few years? I do. uwu

THE KIDS FINALLY MADE IT TO FAGA!!! omfg. That took about 100 lifetimes. orz

I find it so unnatural whenever Hikari hugs Tailmon, lol. Just me? OK. XD;

Machinedramon is very badarse and OP. But maybe I’m just tired of Fillermon. But I really like how menacing and indestructible he seems. :)

Yamato remembered Machinedramon from Agumon’s dark evolution . . . but will it actually go somewhere or just be dropped completely? Hedge your bets! :P

Taichi: “Machinedramon shot at Cloud Continent earlier too. What’s their plan?” Koushirou: “Perhaps . . . it’s somehow tied to Millenniumon’s resurrection.” Sora: “Even if it wasn’t, there’s a ton of Digimon up there!” Yamato: “Let’s destroy those cannons!” That’s my ever-caring girl! And my Sorato tag-team. uwu

I really like the full Mega Evolution sequences with Taichi and Yamato and their Digivices. :3 I really hope the rest of the kids get them, too . . .

Machinedramon v. MetalGarurumon was pretty short, but it looked cool. :D

I liked the whole sequence of Hikari fainting or whatever and Angewomon powering up WarGreymon, lol. It was very nicely done. I was just a little disappointed that we didn’t get an evolution for Angewomon instead. XD;

I’m pretty sure a thousand Takari fans just screamed when Hikari actually fainted and Takeru caught her, lol.

Taichi: “Everybody. Our goal is . . . to find Millenniumon and prevent that Digimon’s resurrection. Right now, I don’t know what might happen. But we can’t be stalling at a place like this. The time when we’ll really need the Holy Digimon’s powers must still be in the future. That’s why . . . me and WayGreymon will end this!” Yamato: “Taichi! You mean you want us to just leave you behind . . .” Taichi: “Yamato. I leave everyone to you.” I’m not the biggest reboot Taichi fan (heh heh), but I thought this moment felt pretty epic with the music and everything. It only took Toei 48 episodes to get Taichi to actually sound like an actual leader of the group, lol. And because the stakes were high - and not against Fillermon - it worked for me. This is an actually deserved heroic moment! :P

And of course Machinedramon v. WarGreymon was pretty damn cool. :) WarGreymon is just . . . bae, lol. XD; I hope MetalGarurumon gets to be this cool later, because he’s pretty lacking in comparison . . .

Taichi . . . is . . . dead? Well, of course not. But it makes for a great episode closer! (Even though . . . it’s ripping off tri., lol.) I dug it. :P

Overall, this was a pretty decent episode. I’m so glad we’re back to actual plot and have hopefully left filler hell forever? Can the remaining episodes all be plot-relevant, please? One can only hope. :)

I’m actually pretty hyped for next week’s episode! I hope that Taichi actually sits out the entire episode - just one - so that his actions here actually have meaning. :P And, yeah, I would also just like a reboot episode without him, lol. Please give me that, Toei! JUST ONE EPISODE. That’s all I ask! XD;

Whats the headcanon voices?

This is long ass hell so imma put a read more thing so it wont remind you that you have to do homework afterwards.

Note: Oooo this is a good one! I know that 6 out of 16 racers have voices we know that Vanellope, taffyta, candlehead, rancis, jublieena and surprisingly crumbelina have voices (Crumbelina didn’t even say a proper line in the first movie other than “Oh” what she should’ve said is “Oh no our table is broken.”) I would also like to add that these are not canon (obviously) and just a headcanon. Ight let’s list them.

1: We got *C L A P S* the boy, Gloyd (hey that rhymed) His headcanon voice should beeeeeeee Dante Basco, now I know who your wondering who he his. Well he’s the voice actor for zuko from avatar or jake long from American dragon. It reminded me of Gloyd idk why but maybe because it sounds mischievous. My intentional thought of Gloyd headcanon voice would be kokichi from danganronpa v3 but I thought it would be too much on the nose there. (The reason why is because they both cry that it.)

2: For Minty (definitely Bruh girl energy) I gotta say her voice should be Olivia Olsen the beautiful lady who voiced Marceline from adventure time and Vanessa from phineas and ferb. I think it fits her cuz my original thought of her voice would be akane from danganronpa but then I realized I was spending way too much on anime that I had to stop at one point and touch grass for once.

3: I know for sticky, Torvald, and Sakura. (I’m trying to keep this short.) would be Olivia hack for sticks because she voiced Ty lee, Michaela dietz for torvald cuz she voiced amethyst from Steven universe and darryl from the ghost and Molly McGee and tbh are my favorite characters. (besides the fact that michaela dietz did gta but it was unused and I really wanna animate Torvald cursing cuz I think it really fits her.) And for Sakura it’s Ariana grande thought you’re going to question, hear me out before Ariana Grande did became famous she was a good actor and was cat in victorious so keep that in mind.

4: Ladies and gentlemen and so on, Adorabeezle and nougetsia *insert cheer* (Also known as the UwU twins…*plays flamingo*) I would say for adora the cute and wholesome racer should definitely have Andrea libman as her headcanon voice actor who is notorious for playing the wholesome pony which is Fluttershy. And for nouget it should be stephanie sheh who is known for voicing Mikan tsumiki. (I just really think this is neat.)

5: Snowanna is a tough one cuz people say she should be voiced by Cree summer but imma say China Anne McClain cuz I think Cree summer should just rest in my opinion cuz she deserves it. Since I believe it’s fitting in my opinion ngl and since I only know China Anne McCalin is known for being Uma from descendants 2 ok… (Since my whole middle school was hyping it up for the most part and I wanted to join the crowd tbh at the time.)

6: We got the flirtatious man himself, swizzle *Plays Wusyaname by Tyler the creator for his intro and makes a dice roll* Ahhh swizz, swizz, swizz cheeseeeee? Eh his voice should be Donald glover cuz he voiced Marshall lee. I just realized this can be fitting for him cuz of there flirting skills.

7: And finally we got Blueberry girl, Citrusella cuz since she is the last one I am going to say her voice will definitely and surely and ultimately and- *Goes on for too long until I get my inhaler.* Sorry for that long ass rampage but yeah her voice should be ibuki mioda from danganronpa 2 cuz fuck it there both rebellious in my opinion. XD

spoilers My thoughts on KHMoM

Although I’m not done with the game yet I already finished the story, and with 30 hours of game time under my belt I think it’s enough to share my thoughts on it, both good and bad:

At first I thought Kairi’s narration would come to a close with her retelling the memories of her heart to someone (Ienzo, Ansem the Wise, etc), but it’s obvious by the fact that she mentions things there’s no way she could know of that the narration is more likely for us the players. This took me out of it a little because it couldn’t fit with MoM’s story; yes they were searching Kairi’s heart and it would have made sense if it was only Kairi’s perspective, but a lot of it has no place in her memory at all. It was just the franchise’s recap, and anybody else could have been narrating. Chirithy could have been a better option since he may actually know a lot more than Kairi does.

Alyson Stoner does a good job voice acting, but she’s not good at voicing Kairi. Her narration sounds more like Xion than Kairi, so you can tell she’s not able to separate them like Jesse does with Ven and Roxas. Alyson’s hoarse raspy voice in the narration gives Xion vibes, but idk if she was directed to do so because in KH3 her Kairi actually sounds a little more high pitched than she does in the narration of MoM.

Although the mapping of some songs could have been better I immensely enjoyed most of the songs in the game. I played in Proud mode and it felt balanced, challenging and fun.

The memory tracks were fun as well since the slight difference in gameplay, and I liked how they adapted it to boss battles as well.

Mickey changing outfits depending on what team you’re using is nice. I especially appreciate his look with the black coat it looks so silly I love it xD

I can’t believe there are 6 songs for Neverland plus Ruler or the Sky’s theme and “Neverland Sky” did not make the final cut goshdangit.

I’m genuinely surprised there were no Pirates of the Caribbean tracks. Probably something to do with copyright.

Seeing Aqua fly was lovely she looks so graceful and pretty I loved it QwQ

I appreciated that One Winged Angel made it, it was a pleasant surprise xD

Original Simple and Clean was nice but I was kinda hoping we’d have at least one of the remixed versions. Oh well.

It was so strange being able to interrupt Aqua’s animations to have her attack or jump because of how I used I was to having to wait for all her animations in BbS xD I mean it was nice! But it felt weird like ‘woah I can do that???’ Crazy stuff.

To this date KH3D is one of the games I like the least of the franchise and after playing the songs I realized how much I don’t like its soundtrack either xD Only songs I can actually hum from memory is All for One. For me most of the Disney world songs are pretty meh.

I can see what they were going for adding the extra Disney songs of Circle of Life, Beauty and the Beast and A Whole New World but because they can be kinda slow songs I don’t feel like they fit so good for a rhythm game? Specially Beauty and the Beast I did not like as much.

Seeing Elsa being shoved on the back of the box felt so shameless from Disney’s part you can tell they had Square at gun point and told them to have her there. That and also that Arendelle’s song was Let it Go instead of the actual world song like the rest of KH3′s Disney worlds.

VS Battles online are fun, I like ‘em c:

In the final battle it felt so wrong that Sora was the one to fight Xehanort instead of Kairi. It felt like a slap to the face after Kairi was so hyped as protagonist for this story. You wanna include Sora in this fight? Have Kairi fight with the Kingdom Key instead of Destiny’s Embrace, that way Kairi gets to fight Xehanort while also letting the players know that Sora is there helping her.

Seeing the flashback of her being taken by student Xehanort was hella interesting and creepy but in a cool way. I liked it.

I... don’t know how to feel about the fictional world. I’m still taking it all in xD but I’m open to it.

The way Kairi and Riku were so excited to see each other was hella cute ngl <3

I was kinda hoping Nameless Star would be Strelitzia, but it really seems like she’s Yozora’s gf. That’s fine I can live with that, she’s nice and I like her.

I can understand the logic of why Kairi did not go with Riku. Really, I do. But it felt like another slap to the face xD Like damn this poor girl barely got the spotlight before Riku went away with it again.

Kairi is gonna be Aqua’s student!! I’m actually really looking forward to this and I hope we get to see more of their interactions c:

Mickey trying to run off after Riku and having Donald and Goofy tackle him was so funny like bro who the hell are you kidding? You went off on your own to do shit without telling anyone all the way back from KH1.

Yen Sid asking Donald and Goofy to tell everyone to stop their respective searches was such a relief Terra, Aqua and Ven can finally get out of the Realm of Darkness after a year of searching there QwQ

The setup for the next entry in the franchise got me definitely excited! I’ll be looking forward to anything new Nomura releases, and I’ll be on the lookout for KH’s 20th anniversary in 2022 c:

SCD Week 1 Thoughts

So they’re uploading the videos now so HERE WE GO.

Alex and Neil - In the words of Frankie Boyle, they were surprisingly rubbish XD. Idk I guess I expected more from Alex considering how hyped she was but fuck that was... disappointing. Her posture felt weak, her arms in hold were just floppy and she didn’t have the right poise for a quickstep. She had the energy but she just looked awkward. I mean I’m happy for Neil getting a partner and all but doesn’t mean I have to like her XD.

Chris and Karen - MY KING WAS ROBBED FIGHT ME. Yes of course it wasn’t amazing but my god there were a few I thought were worse than him but the judges absolutely tore him apart I was shocked. He was loose and his posture and hands were lazy, but I thought his footwork was pretty good. He had amazing energy and I loved his “push out stomach” (you know when they do the open move in cha cha cha the pros always push their stomachs out and their arms are right behind them, celebs don’t usually do that but Chris did), I think the judges were a little harsh on him, and he’s a king and I love him.

Catherine and Johannes - It was a very sweet dance and Cath isn’t that bad. Her top’s a little stiff and she did seem to stumble a little bit out of hold but overall she was quite nice.

Saffron and AJ - (why do I have to watch this again ugh) OVERMARKED fuck I hate her attitude, she had the complete wrong energy for a tango it felt like a gimmick. Her “tango hand” was meh okay but she looked like she was going to fall over a few times. I think the choreo itself let them down though it was just... BLAGH. They played on her internet youth too much for it to be a serious tango.

Mike and Katya - K honestly I have no idea what the judges were thinking that looked bloody awful where I was sitting. He had energy and stamina and... that was it? He was stiff, his movements didn’t flow, he was flying about all over the place, he had no balance or coordination. His legs moved and his top half just kind of moved with it. It even made Katya look unbalanced, it had no grace whatsoever. Entertaining but fucking shocking.

V.Emma and Aljaz - I loved them feeding David James in the VT that was sweet XD. Ngl warming to V.Emma a little bit after this, I’m liking her energy XD. She was maybe TOO graceful for a cha cha cha? It wasn’t sharp enough, her technique and footwork was pretty good but she lacked hip action and body movement. However, would love to see more of her.

James and Luba - Aaaaand the winner of stupidest song choice goes to... wow this was bad XD. He looked like a grumpy father who was forced to dance with his daughter at her wedding. His posture was like me during exam season, he seemed to just kind of walk around with Luba?? I don’t think he had a tango face it was more of a... resting bitch face.

Kelvin and Oti - Wow the guy who comes in late beats everyone how much has that got to suck? XD. And I thought the guy had no chance OTI DELIVERS A GREAT SAMBA AGAIN. Only thing I would say is that his arms were a little stiff sometimes but HOLY FUCK KELVIN HAS SNATCHED MY WEAVE. Sometimes I didn’t quite know what was going to happen but shit man, just... I have no words.

David and Nadiya - And these 2 win funniest dance concept of the night. I don’t think he was too bad actually. He certainly lacked dynamics, especially in comparison to Nadiya, and his head seemed a little stiff but his footwork was pretty nice. I wanna see more of him.

( @missemperor ) Michelle and Giovanni - Okay I’m sorry I know she’s an American and Gio seems intimidated and I shouldn’t like her but I’m kind of loving her XD. Her attitude was PERFECT for a cha cha cha and she really surprised me. Sometimes I felt her upper body could have a bit more flow, her arms sometimes could move a little backwards so there was more shape to her body but I LOVED her dancer hands XD. It always baffles me when people don’t have nice hands on their free arm cos I’m so used to doing it XD. Overall I think she was pretty good!

Dev and Dianne - Omg he really surprised me XD. His footwork was amazing!! His hold was pretty nice too. I was just DESPERATE to push his shoulders back a little bit XD. His upper body was a little too upright and lacked a slight shape to it but overall he did really well!! Go Dianne! XD.

Anneka and Kevin - First of all THEY CHANGED THE LYRICS TO ANNEKA INSTEAD OF GLORIA I’M SCREAMING XD. K Anneka was pretty much exactly what I expected of her, pretty bad XD. I think two fours were generous XD. She did the moves but there was no performance at all. She had no dynamics, her balance was terrible and her entire body had no shape to it. Can’t see how anyone could find something redeemable in her performance honestly.

Karim and Amy - OH HIS BODY HAD SO MUCH FLOW IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. All his movements just flowed through every joint it was a DELIGHT to watch XD. I would say his posture could have been a bit better sometimes and there was a couple bits that looked awkward but omg he was so surprising and he just looked like a dancer. AND HE HAD THE PUSH OUT STOMACH THAT MAKES ME HAPPIER THAN BRUNO ON BATH SALTS.

Will and Janette - WILL IS STILL THE MOST PRECIOUS I LOVE HIM. And he really surprised me! His energy was just outstanding holy cow. I feel like Janette’s choreography let him down though, there was a whole section that looked really static and awkward? But that’s not Will’s fault at all and he did his best at that bit anyway XD. His legs had so much bounce and spring to them it was amazing! His hold was a bit stiff but honestly I think he did so well and... I love him XD.

Emma and Anton - Oof they couldn’t let Anton be happy for long could they XD. I think they were a bit harsh on Emma! It reminded me of Faye and Gio’s jive last year, great footwork but a lack of energy. Her arms sometimes had no shape but her legs were pretty nice. She needed to be a bit looser but her alignment was sooooooooo beautiful on certain moments. She deserved better and hopefully they’ll be nicer to her on a ballroom dance cos I feel like she’d really do well there.

And that’s it! Apart from stating that Motsi is a queen and Claudia is iconic. That’s it.

Please don't feel bad, its an annoying bug that happens, I am now tempted to just start typing my replies in my notes app so I don't lose them and resend if anything jdjsjs

But its is!! Like I feel all sorts of excitement knowing its my first full comeback with those 8 beans omg like the teasers had me HYPED, I was loving the Halloween vibes but make it much earlier. The styling is perfection, so mv drops and ngl it left me feeling a bit unsure because I loved everything about the song like chorus was hands down my favorites and the raps were nice but the rest made me a bit unsure but you're talking to a sticker by nct fan so I can handle noise shiz. I had a feeling it would be like RTL by seventeen where it needed to grow and once I replayed maniac like 5 times, I was hooked by the 3rd listening and was "omg how could I hate this genius song!?" Because listening with my fancy headphones you can pick up the details more better plus reading the lyrics makes everything tie together like a bow ya know? The dance...dreamy LET ME TALK ABOUT THE DANCE!! (I am a fan of good dances hfhshs) the opening with minho on his back which then we move towards jeongin and the lil dino stompping moves and hans entire section and boom the chorus with the birds tweeting (which im sure is very intentional? Very Saturday morning cartoon vibes where you see a cartoon be hit on the head) and drill sound like chan legit said "support your hardware stores kids" xD I love the finger movements of the chorus where the twist it like a screw but their fingers are just, like bent to be like Frankenstein screws if that makes sense? And then it just goes wild with minho ending the song bznshd. So yeah maniac is a perfect title track, smh at my friend for not liking it *sigh* but oohh favorite track!? Dreamy that's hard to pick! I personally enjoyed all of the songs? None of them were skips to me, the album sounds great as you said, loving the emo vibes (which idk if I can say but I saw your selfie on thy other blog and uhh emo queen vibes yes!!) But if I had to pick today, I may have to say venom? Idk the spider like aesthetics in the chorus where it sounds like a spider walking is very much in the same vibe as hoshi's spider where it sounds like water dripping down the spiderweb hehehehe. I loved the vocal and rap unit songs like chef kiss stuff right there! Lonely st. Is if I wanna feel the feels and freeze gives me like old school vibes? Or at least to me of songs I remember being played at my school dances so feels nostalgic in a way?

So there was a mini rambling of how much I liked the album and comeback cx a wild one indeed timing wise but a good one still! It really doesn't feel like almost a year because everything feels longer but at the same time with how active I am in this fandom, everything is happening so fast I cannot keep up haha. Yet look at how much these beans have achieved like I may not be a long stay but boy do I feel proud, insert the Regina George mom bopping while recording meme right here that is me with skz. I loves them as cheesy as that sounds.

OH whats funny is i felt the same with rtl not because of the song but bro i hate the mv. so much (like the quality and coloring and stuff) that i also didnt like the song at first because of it, but since i stopped watching that lq mv i love it a lot lol, sometimes songs are just like that you have to really give it a full listen. i think (at least for me) im so hyped on the idea of a comeback sometimes my brain doesnt actually register the song well the first time i hear it cause im just all !!!!! inside (plus im usually like oh oh thats one shot for ___ to gif hehe through my first watch thru the cc brain rot is very real) and what you siad about the lyrics, even though ive LOVED every skz song that ive heard, i do always try my best to wait and read the lyrics before im like yes its a REALLY good song because you never know the song could be really poorly written, and some of us would have no idea lmao but at this point i do just outright trust 3racha and woozi to write amazing lyrics lol

THE DANCE god ok if theres another place i need to smash svt and skz together its always the dancing, im always DYING for choreo videos. the maniac choreo is SOOOOO good! and like lee minho is literally one of the most amazing dancers of all time, especially in kpop im not even a little surprised at his amount ofcenter time in this one, like the better the choreo the more i expect center minho because he just goes so hard and so perfect every dance!! and god yeah at the end where he just releases all of his stored energy to look absolutely CRAZYYYY is the best, like in everything skz does i am absolutely looking at chris all of the time except dancing like im sorry chris but minho is right there pls move i need to see exactly how the dance was meant to be done lmao.

i also definitely agree about venom the spiderweb sounds are SO cool, chris REALLY outdid himself with the “noise” aspect of their album this time. like he’s REALLLLLLy leaning into that “insult” and making the most amazing results out of it. i love that skz just does not care, and are like if youre going to insult us we’re going to get so much material out of this thanks :D its king behavior lmao

i hope we get some choreo for the other oddinary songs, like during tour or something because im dying to see what they do (especially with venom)
